La Belle & La Boeuf - Burger Bar - Saint-Bruno in St-Bruno-de-Montarville

Our waitress Laurie S. started dinner by telling us that we had to choose a language to be served because she could not speak both languages. Towards the end of dinner she told us that we had 15 minutes left to finish the pitcher of beer otherwise we wouldnt be able to finish it. In addition, she told me that I should have warned my group that the limit was two hours. We understand that it is the holiday season but the tone used and the attitude of the waitress leaves something to be desired. Disappointed with our evening.

Very good restaurant and good food

We went to eat for my husbands birthday. We had the Pok Pok poutine (General Tao style) and it was excellent! In the mocktails, the Tropic Killer is on point! The atmosphere was good but we found it a little dark. The menu is written so small that you cant see much if your eyes are of a certain age and you dont have glasses... lolll But I recommend!

Place is great, but the waiters are either great or horrible. I went and tipped 2$ for a burger and drink. The waitress complained that I didn t tip enough and said they take money out of her tip?? Thats illegal, please don t tell the clients its their fault.

I ll start with the elephant in the room: $40 per person after tip and taxes for a burger the size of a tennis ball is just plain highway robbery. Next, service. I ordered a burger and opted for the replacement poutine instead of the regular fries and cole slaw; I was served instead regular fries and cole slaw. Then there s the food. Notwithstanding the microscopic toonie-sized burger, the one I ordered (Sheriff) was so shoved with pepper sauce that it entirely contaminate and STOLE the taste of the rest of the ingredients; the closest description of the experience would be drinking Sriracha sauce straight from the bottle. Barbecue sauce, onion rings, beef patty? Forget about it, all you ll taste and feel is essentially the same as pouring 120 proof alcohol in your mouth and setting it on fire. The cocktail selection is passable, but the beer menu is plain garbage not a single locally sourced beer, no microbrasserie options, just the usual high-volume industrial waste from Molson Coors you ll find at your local Costco. On the plus side, the decor is agreeable and it s not too loud so that you can establish a proper conversation with your peers without resorting to shouting provided that your mouth isn t on fire from the truckload of pepper sauce in the burger. TL;DR: It s a place I surely won t be coming back anytime soon.

This is the third time weve come to Belle et la Boeuf in St-Bruno and its still just as good! Nice atmosphere, good food, good drink. The employees are nice. I have no complaints. I highly recommend this place!

Nice restaurant but what bad service. After several email exchanges with customer service and the restaurant, no response and invitation to return (gift card) WHAT A BAD EXPERIENCE....

Gross, tastes stale, we ordered nachos, and the platter to share, came to 98$, threw out almost all of it and went to McDonald s.

We ordered the nachos and they hardly had any cheese. We asked and they offered to bring us a bowl of velveeta to dip them in. When we refused, they redid the dish as if it was a wanton demand and it didn t even have the regular amount of cheese regular nachos normally have. If you can t do a Mexican dish, don t offer it in your menu

Normally I would have given it 5 stars. On my last 2 visits, the drinks are very disappointing. Besides looking like there is no alcohol, there are missing ingredients compared to the picture on the menu. Next time I ask for alcohol separately and if they dont want it, I wont take anything

Wonderful first experience at this restaurant. The phily sandwich OMG, excellent. With the tomato soup, fries, coleslaw and the little pickles dipped in kool-aid wowwww. Just the negative point, waitress a little rude when walking past our plate while we were eating to collect the plates of people who had finished. I had to stop eating 3 times because she was picking up or serving. But for the rest, no. 1

Nice evening with 2 friends on the terrace. First experience very appreciated for me. Very good classic Smash. Excellent poutine. Great attentive service. My friends enjoyed a Montreal poutine and a Mac & Cheese. Recommended!

I gave 4 stars because the burger was completely stupid. But the food is good. I took away a star because the spicy mayo was $2 more when you pay $5 more for the sweet potato fries. Otherwise, the staff was excellent and everything was good! Even a slider eating contest at the end!

The waitress was attentive and helpful with good service. Ambience of patio dining was also good. Next time should try their cocktails.

Honestly very disappointed!!! Beautiful day to go eat on the terrace with friends, you still have to be able to hear yourself talk If we wanted a beach party, we would have chosen another place. There we were blasted by this and even when asking to lower the volume a minimum we were told that the boss does not want this despite the request also made by other tables!!! And theres no way to have a less noisy place as it seems that the speakers are everywhere! Correct food, nothing more... and, not really understanding the Italian poutine in the center in the sharing platter, I would offer the option of fries or others. Sangria which tasted more like juice, Ive had much better ones elsewhere lets say. The icing on the cake, we want to pay with a gift card and we are told that the machine does not work so they cannot honor it. Thats the end... you have to call now before showing up with a gift card!!!? Definitely, the first and last time for Beauty and the Boeuf

La Belle & La Boeuf restaurants never disappoint. We are immersed in a unique street art atmosphere, the bar is magnificent and even the bathroom is worth the visit. In terms of service, nothing to complain about, the staff takes great care, we had a warm and smiling welcome. Finally, their dishes are delicious and very hearty. For a very affordable price. I recommend the Philly sandwich!

It says it closes at 12, but since 8:30 p.m. theyre saying its the last stop for food and also drinks.... we had just arrived and on Google it says that its open until midnight!!! Very very disappointed!!!

We waited too long for burgers it was not crowded at all. Burgers were tasty. Sat to eat inside because the weather was very hot out, only to have the outside door slide open right next to me. So it became very hot. Music was very loud for a burgers place at 1pm.

Unfortunately disappointment...I ask to change fries to poutine...$6.99 later a few pieces of cheese and lukewarm sauce...music too loud.

The service was good, the waitress was super understandable for our group and accommodated us well but, DO NOT ORDER A BURGER! Its very contradictory but I personally ordered a mac and cheese with Philly beef and the macaroni seemed to be frozen and the beef was dry as sand. My friend ordered an avocado burger and the beef patty was so dry it could have crumbled. The quality has gone down a lot over the years. Without any noticeable change, I would advise against it being too expensive for what we got. Very disappointed.

The meat of the buger was dry and the fried egg on the Calimero was well cooked, it would have been better to have a runny egg, it would have helped the meat. The service was good. However, despite the presence of children at our table, the childrens menu was not presented to us before ordering. As for the atmosphere, its not very suitable for family dinners. In a pinch, for a group of friends or a date with whom you dont intend to end the evening.

On a Friday evening, me, my partner and my boy are going to eat. I get my meal, buger with Caesar salad. My buger was cold and my salad was wet as if it had spent the night in the fridge. They change my meal. The boss comes to see us and proudly tells us that he is offering me dessert. I get dessert. 3 donut holes. 3. I told my partner that it was almost insulting. Anyway, we each had 1 donut hole.

Stopped here while on a work trip. Food was good, big portions but service was mediocre. Waited a while to be seated and then pretty well left alone during the meal. Focus seemed to be on the patio and it was pretty empty inside where I sat.

Good restaurant for burgers. Several choices possible on the menu. The menu offers several specials depending on the day and time. The decoration is worth the detour. The welcome is good, the staff is young and friendly. Only downside: The atmosphere is very noisy! Phew!

Best Burger in town

My husband, our 5-month-old baby, and I visited La Belle et la Boeuf recently, hoping for a pleasant dining experience. However, our encounter with the receptionist left us feeling incredibly unwelcome. Despite the restaurant having ample empty tables, the receptionist was dismissive when we requested seating suitable for our family, including our baby in a stroller. We were met with resistance when we explained our need for a table to accommodate us comfortably. Despite pointing out available tables, we were denied seating options. As parents, being turned away from an empty restaurant was disheartening, especially when we wanted a place where our family could dine together comfortably. Disappointed by the lack of consideration and understanding, we decided to leave and seek a more accommodating dining experience elsewhere. Fortunately, the restaurant next door welcomed us warmly and went above and beyond to ensure our comfort. Its truly unfortunate that La Belle et la Boeuf missed an opportunity to provide inclusive and welcoming service to families. We hope this review serves as constructive feedback for improvement in the future.

Much too noisy and they play music loudly

I witnessed a manager speak terribly to his staff. It was disturbing to see how he spoke to his staff, extremely disrespectful. I don t care who you are, you do not treat staff like that! So disappointing to see that is what s happening, and if he s comfortable treating staff like that in front of customers .. I pray for every staff member there.

The best smash burger I have ever eaten. The owners Mike and Georges were there and offered us drinks on the house. Great Team, great bosses who are on site who make sure that everything is perfect and that all customers are satisfied. Really amazing place.

Visit at the start of the week, very calm atmosphere, few people but understandable, waitress not very talkative....yet not busy!!

Always happy with my experience and the warm welcome of this restaurant unfortunately in terms of food I sometimes found the portions too big I couldnt finish my dish, but obviously that remains my personal opinion!

Change of food style for this weeks meeting. We went there for good food plus pub food. The dish to share with mini burgers, garnished fries, slices etc. is very generous. We shared with 4 people. The burgers were succulent and the portions were very reasonable, however the regular fries had a cooking problem and the sweet potato fries lacked flavor. The poke bowls with tartare were generous and tasted good but the rice was hard and undercooked.

1 hour to be served 2 burgers and let s not talk about the music being too loud and the proximity of the tables. We cant get along, a real chicken coop.

I normally love this restaurant but today I was disappointed with my dish. The Tartar duo really lacked meat. The person who served us (with courtesy and very good service) mentioned to us twice that our plates were coming and that there was only one cook in the kitchen. My dish arrived and there wasnt 3 Oz of each Tartar, thats for sure. I didnt want to bother because Ive been eating it for a long time and I know the size well. At this price, very disappointed with the little bit of beef and salmon which was far from the 3 Oz each. Plus, there was a hair on my guests salad . It was good all the same and the atmosphere was very pleasant. If there is a shortage of staff in the kitchen, it would be better not to take on too many customers because it is certain that the Tartar duo that I had was really not the sensible size (I would even say 1oz and a half no more ). PS: plus it wasnt even a busy hour (between 3 p.m. and 4 p.m.)

Dry dumpling like the sands of the Sahara, beautiful appetizing bread, but also very dry. Ultra salty bacon! I took the classic, I would have been embarrassed to serve this burger at home to friends. The BLT at McDonalds is 100x better haha.

Had a burger. Not as good as I was expecting. Second time at this restaurant and the first time was the same. Service was really good though.

Is this a club or a restaurant? The music was blasting louder than a club. My ears were buzzing after getting out of there. Will not be coming back. Unless youre a teenager looking to get wasted I do not recommend.

Take the Ms. Mac pack, its really good and you get what you pay for. Its really a bar with a good atmosphere, you have to come early because it fills up quite quickly. Big shout out to Kim, dave and vero, you made my night, it was so funny. Parking: Too much room to park except on Saturdays when its really full.

i ordered a smash burger with onion rings, when the UberEats driver arrived, they sent fries instead of onion rings, i paid $6 extra for onion rings, when i called the restaurant, the girl that answered the phone could not care less about my issue, she simply said to take it up with UberEats, she said she was the manager but a manager does not speak to clients the way she did to me, she was very disrespectful, this is the first and last time i order from this place.

We waited 1 hour 45 min to get the food my 4 years old daughter couldn t wait that long so we gave her a snack after all that time we asked for anything she can eat they gave us the french fries and when the burger arrive she wasn t able to eat anymore .
