The Feathery Pub in St. Catharines

Just had to order from the Feathery twice on skip the dishes. First time we did not receive our order. The correct receipt was attached but the wrong food was in the bag. Unfortunately due dietary restrictions it could not be eaten. I chose to reorder our dinner, including a Caesar Salad which arrived with no dressing. Not sure why my order could not be done right at least once. Perhaps a bit more care could have been taken after I left a note stating that a mistake was made the first time.

Best nachos in town

Service was non-existent. I had to call over two different staff members for service and was never visited during my meal to see how we were enjoying it or to see if we needed anything. First and last visit for me.

So I only gave a 2 star on food because I was very disappointed this last order on Monday oct 28 5:50pm. If I would of rated you guys on my meal on Friday I would have given 10 stars if I could. I was so impressed by my fries and Philly steak sandwich on Friday, I thought about them all weekend so I decide to order it again this evening. But to my disappointment the meal was nowhere near the same quality as it was on Friday. The fries were a complete different frie as to the ones I received Friday. The fries on Friday were crispy delicious fries. The ones I received tonight were a different frie because the ones tonight had skin on them and they were very mushy and soggy. And the funny thing is I was 20 mins late picking up Friday and they were still crispy. And now the Philly steak that I received Friday was full of meat and flavor. The one I received tonight had next to no meat. It looked like more mushroom and onion than meat. I will try again in the future and if the meal is as good as my first meal I will most definitely change my rating. But the inconsistency was a disappointment.

I used to come here much more a while ago (5+ years) and it was great. The last few times, the wings were not anywhere near as good as before and the beer from the taps was skunky. The last time I was here was a bit over a month ago and since then Ive been in the area about 4 times and each time I avoided this place - theyre obviously not cleaning the taps on a regular basis.

We got the wings, burger, and Yorkshire pudding with roast beef and mashed potatos. everything came out super fast and tasted amazing! Highly recommend!!!

We ordered the Thanksgiving Dinner to take out. $22 a person. It was delicious not one complaint and we had leftovers. So much food.

Dined in tonight at the Feathery Pub. We had a couple of things but the French Onion Soup was amazing. Rich and saviory with an essence of thyme. Will definitely order again.

Been coming here for years and every time there is great food, service and drinks. Definitely worth a visit

Today my girlfriend and I went to this joint because a few places we had wanted to go were closed. Then I had remembered that my friend said they had great food and so off we went. As soon as we walked in the door we were greeted by our server/bartender. Our server was quick and courteous which was awesome considering he had a full section. Our food and drinks came out right away and they were delicious. We had loaded potato skins, a burger and the fish and chips. I could say more but then again you should try it yourself. As soon as football season starts this is the new spot, definitely coming back.

Met friends for dinner and I tried the house soup that evening: Butter Chicken. Well that was a wash. A significant surcharge was added for this and it was just leftover butter chicken watered down. The rest of the food was good. Nice size servings, friendly staff and the place was just picking up for an evening event as we finished up. Parking: Mall parking. We were lucky and got a spot right in front.

The food is handmade, in the house, from what I overheard the staff saying. It was pretty good, I had a halibut sandwich but it was dry with no sauce. The staff were kind but being middle of the day the service was lackluster and they seemed put off. The only one making an effort to be energetic was the lady being trained as a new server. My best friend, my daughter and myself stopped in to enjoy our conversations, what better way, than with delicious food. We shared jerk chicken tacos, pierogies, chicken wings and French Onion soup. The staff were friendly, fast and efficient. We werent feeling rushed or hurried. This is an amazing atmosphere for family dining, or even on a date.

Good bar food... bartenders were very helpful giving out places to go and see to us tourists from WI. A typical Irish Pub, but I like a good Irish Pub, and this place was spot on!

Its not impressive to not write down orders and then get them wrong. Its then frustrating when you dont check on a table for over 10 minutes after dropping off food in a mostly empty restaurant. At that point everyone else is either finished their meals, or theyre cold from waiting. Sure, the server could blame the kitchen, but maybe double check since you had two of the same orders at the table and didnt check which one had no sauce.. which means you forgot. We werent charged for the meal, and we asked them not to replace it since it would be a wait when everyone else was finished and we had a timeline... but a little frustrating considering that was the bare minimum and nothing else was done to make up for such a poor experience. The food was fine, the service was lackluster. 4pm, Saturday July 6th.

THE BEST VEGAN POUTINE! Beats the actual vegan restaurants poutines. The veg buffalo ckn wrap is excellent to pair with. Ive eaten in, and get delivery from here and the presentation of food is superb too.

Tomato oregano soup was good. Long brown hair In a chicken ceasar wrap. Two different draught beers ,Bud/Keiths were off (skunky).

Dont miss the the roast beef stuffed into a Yorkshire Pudding with gravy!

Everything was great about this place. The dishes that we ordered were exquisite. Service was amazing thank you, Naomi! Our little furry friend also got all the attention that he wanted :) We will definitely plan to be back to The Feathery Pub when we are in the area again.

If you are Vegan do not go here. I got a vegan chicken wrap with a side vegan poutine. The chicken is compliments chicken fingers with nothing but unmelted daiya, soggy shredded lettuce and franks hot sauce. 0/10 it was very bad. The poutine is Costco fries with canned gravy and daiya. 0/10 just horrible. And it cost me $60. Servers are a big redeemer here the people are great. But it ain t worth it trust me.

Stopped for an impromptu lunch at Feathery. We ate on the patio, where there was a cute doggo hanging out with his people. Our server, Natalee, was perfect. She was attentive without being overbearing, friendly, and made sure that our food allergies were all looked after. The slightly modified meals we had were wonderful, and came to the table hot. Very grateful for wonderful food and exceptional service. A terrific way to start the long weekend!

We made reservations today for my boyfriends birthday . We made reservations for 7 people . My Mother in law went in and talked to staff and was able to extend the reservation. Im writing this because it was my reservation and our day how was she able to change my reservation without myself being notified when it was under my name . Thats bad service and bad communication Im not looking forward to going because Im worried about how the rest of the service will be

Tried the nachos, more than enough to feed 2 people at $29 - I think the extras should be included in that price however, or it ends up being around $50 of nachos after tax and tip. Staff were nice and the atmosphere was cosy.

My old high school teacher told me about this place. Wow, fantastic food. Such great flavour profiles put together to just explode in your mouth. The chef choices are true wins. I sat at the bar the 2 times I went. Family night was too busy so I had a few drinks and the chicken antojitos. Yum. Went back 2 nights ago and had a few drinks and pan fried garlic and cheese perogies. Amazing!!!! Took home the best potato skins ever and a chef salad to die for. lunch the next day. The servers are attentive and on it even with it being busy. So good.

This place is perfection. I stopped in for a quick solo lunch and had the wings which is what I typically always order where ever I go. I have to say they were some of the best wings Ive ever had. So crispy crunchy moist and meaty! The staff were super friendly and the service was amazing. This is a definitely must try!

Horrendous service. This year I have been twice and have walked out both times after waiting for service. I understand being busy but both times your establishment wasn t with multiple servers working. No friendly greetings just miserable people walking around in circles.

The food was amazing, some things were not particularly how I prefer them, but that didnt make them bad ... The Burger was amazing, the fries were actually some the best fries ive ever eaten, and the deep fried cheese curds were spot on !! The sticky toffee pudding was super flavorful as well !. Service seemed a little hectic, but still decent, and atmosphere its your typical pub, kinda dark lighting, dark wood furniture.

Food was great, I got the fried cheese curds and bbq chicken flatbread. I didn t get the yorkshire pudding but it smelled amazing and was huge! Service was lacking but friendly when we were attended to.

Soups were delicious, cooled off fast, background music was way too loud, staff had to yell at each other so they could hear one another. We had a hard time hearing each other at the table which was not relaxing.

Great place to get together with friends. I had the soup flight and totally intended to take pics, but I was hungry and forgot until the bowls werent photo worthy. Delicious!

Great pub

Ive been to the feathery pub a few times now and every single time has been fantastic! The food is delicious and all the workers are so kind! We went to try out the soup flight they have right now and it was sooo amazing! They have 4 soups in rotation each day and you get to pick 3 for the soup flight! Pictured in this review was the French onion soup, a tomato and a Chipotle potato. All were fantastic and this was a great addition to the menu! I will definitely be returning again soon!

Their Guiness Pot Pie is the largest that I have ever seen. It fills the whole dinner plate and is absolutely delicious. Bring an appetite and dont be embarrassed if you have to take some home. Also, the only place that I have found in this part of Southern Ontario, that has both Guiness and Smithwicks, on tap. The wife says that the liver and onions is to die for.

I heard about the soup flights and drove out from Toronto today to try them - so good! The menu was varied and interesting and others at the table loved their meals as well. Great staff and super atmosphere too!

Food and service was good, but how can you call yourself a pub and not have Premier League Football on?

I had ceasar salad with buffalo chicken, croutons were hard, some tasted old and the salad has no parmesan cheese. My husband had philly cheese steak sandwich and it looks like it was heat in microwave. They used to have fresh french fries, not anymore, they were frozen this time. Very disapointed and will not return.

Food was great, service was OK, they werent very busy and way over staffed, took a while for our server to come over as well as ask how everything was, refill our drinks and get our bill. She was very nice but not as attentive for a slow night.

We just wanted a plain burger. It was pretty good - we did pick up. Overall it was pretty good but the lettuce was wilted (not bc of the heat of the burger and def older) . And the side gravy was super salty. Really nice staff !

We came here for dinner on Wednesday after landing from Nova Scotia. Atmosphere is really good and the restaurant is clean. Food was absolutely delicious and really decently priced. Our waitress, Natalie, was very friendly and service was quick!

Place is a little musty smelling. People are very nice. Dont get fries unless you have low blood pressure. They make McDonalds fries taste like they are saltless. Steak sub was small but had a lot of beef on it. Its actually roast beef not shaved steak.

Hands down one of the BEST pubs I have ever been to. Its probably a good thing I dont live nearby, or I would be there every day! Lots of excellent choices on the menu, and one of the only places I have ever seen to actually list Black Velvets for drinks (and it was made right, not mixed!). Also highly recommend the Blackberry Margarita and Deep Fried Cheese Curds.

Ordered fish and chips. Batter was burnt as if fried twice. Tasted like burnt grease. My daughters yorkie was tasty.

Very relaxed atmosphere perfect for couples and family, service is fast and the food was filling and delisous! First time trying beef dip and au jus, omg! So yummy! Kid-friendliness: Again super relaxed tv for entertainment and comfortable seating.

We specifically visited The Feathery to try their poutine since the restaurant showed up on a Google search for best poutine in St Catherines. Sadly we did not get to try due to unpleasant service from one of the servers. The server that initially greeted us was great. But when it came time to take our drink order, another server attended to us and it went downhill fairly quickly. Her responses to my questions were short and it felt like she was annoyed that she had to serve us. When I could not decide which beer I wanted to order fast enough, she got impatient and told us she would come back. Thrown off by her abruptness and salty energy, I turned to my date and asked where was the other server? She overheard me, turned around and said in an angry tone, with the most attitude: do you not want me to serve you? Needless to say we did not feel comfortable having someone with that kind of energy handling our food. So we left...its too bad because most of the reviewers seemed to have a positive experience with staff here. We are from out of town and its unlikely we will ever return.

This is my new favourite restaurant. They have a bunch of vegan options. Ive tried most of them and theyre delicious. I usually get the vegan chicken wrap with bbq sauce.

So normally a place like this wouldn t let me down, however . We had a Rubin and 15 wings and the bill was $46 before tip. Now, that would have been fine if I wasn t paying in the neighbourhood of $2 per wing for small wings. On top of that the waiter takes it spin himself to add his 20% tip before handing me the machine. In the end, not worth the time or money. Romby s on lake has never let me down and we can get a full meal with beers for that price.

Good food

Weve showed up really late and asked if they can offer take out. They werent sure, but asked their kitchen anyway. We were there at around 10pm, which their restaurant usually closes at 12am (midnight). They accepted the order. So we went ahead and ordered some delicious food and we were told to wait for 15 minutes. Great! The atmosphere was gentle, warm and chilling. Of course, its a weekday, so expect not many customers come. Still, they do it consistently and they are excellent! And here we are, we got our order and boy, they are FRESH! Thank you very much for your service!! Vegetarian options: They do have vegans food, and my partner is vegan and man, she loves it!

Ordered the Ceasar Salade, It was Disgusting. Hardly any Dressing, The Bacon on it was Gross. Tasted like Dirty old Grease. So Dry and Dark you could hardley tell it was Bacon. Looked and tasted like IT was cooked and re-cooked over and Over. It was clearly cooked in used Dirty Grease. Scraped all the Bacon to one side. Also no Croutons at All. Nobody was in there and had to wait awhile for the Server. I dont know what happen to this Place, Years Back the Food was always Fabulous.

Our first time there tonight The food was good ,however we ordered an appetizer and the waitress forgot to put the order in so we never got it . I think she forgot about us all together because tables that came in after us got their food and finished before we got ours . I know accidents happen and people make mistakes, so I will try it again because the food was good ! .

Always a great time

We had such high hopes. My husband came here on our anniversary weekend. The dining room is laid out with tables, no booths so it was quite loud. But the food and service did not make our night. We were seated and ordered drinks quickly. But then another waitress came to take our drink order again - very confusing. It took 15 minutes to get our drinks, and one was a coke. We ordered our food before we got our drinks, and then the other waitress came to take our food order. Either they were sharing a section or someone was stepping on the others toes... Either way not an inviting situation. It took almost an hour for our food - which the first waitress told us was very popular and should thus have been reasonably timed. My food was lukewarm at Best. And then neither of them checked on us once so I couldnt even tell them. Not impressed at all.

My partner and I went here 2 days ago for lunch after spending countless hours at the hospital because my father in law had a stroke. The waitress asked if my partner was drunk. If you cant tell the difference between a drunk person and an upset person who had been crying you should not be a waitress. Not only were you completely wrong, you also completely embarrassed us. Perhaps you should get a job at Walmart instead because you are a horrible waitress. Feel free to look in to sensitivity training for your staff.

Myself and my coworkers came for lunch as we do often. The food is always great. Although on this occasion it was the worst experience I have ever had at a restaurant. I have never been treated so rudely by a waitress. She came to the table, it started with a dirty look like she was discussed with me I m assuming because I moved a table closer to my table so we could sit together she didn t say a word, threw menus on the table very harshly and walked away. Her attitude and tone continued. Not impressed.

Unfortunately I was not able to write a 2nd google review so I m on my husbands account. My name is Sandra and I left a google review yesterday about terrible service from our waitress. The manager immediately asked me to call her. We spoke in great length and I was more than impressed with her professionalism and willingness to listen to customer feedback. It is evident that they value their customers and strive to provide exceptional service. Their commitment to improving and ensuring a positive experience for all patrons is commendable. I also want to express my gratitude for their kind offer of a complementary meal. Thank you Feathery!!! I will be back!

They are trying a new thing - breakfast. It is a great idea and they offer some great English fare but need to change a few things in my humble opinion. The tater tots served with the plain breakfast do not work - make some real potatoes. One small sausage cut in half does not equate the cost of the breakfast either and it was too fatty. Eggs need to be done better as well. For the price the quality has to be better but the service was good and getting better I assume. I will try again in a month.

I recently discovered this delightful breakfast spot. The quality of ingredients is top-notch, and the presentation is Instagram-worthy. This place is a gem, and I cant wait to return for another delicious breakfast experience.

Food was good. I ll give it that. I walked in had to seat myself and menus were coming ten minutes later we had to go to bar to get a menu. Then another ten minutes to finally get a drink so we were there minimum half hour before we even got to order. No refills. Steak was forgotten on our nachos and added half way through. We then had to wait another 15 minutes for the bill where we had to go to the bar to get. Mentioned about waiting around the server didn t even come around to say she was sorry just completely avoided. Kayla was the servers name. No personality. No customer service at all. It s sad because the food was good but will not return

We love this restaurant!! The weekly specials always has amazing creations. Something for everyone, so many things to choose from. Then the everyday menu has lots of great classic options. Food is always amazing, and service is fast with a smile from a great team. And then when you want dessert, you have to try the cheesecake. Its always something fresh in season, great flavors, and a big slice. Great to share for a date night. They even sell treats for your pups to take home or have on the dog friendly patio. (seasonally of course) Maggie and Jonathan manage and have a great team !! Dietary restrictions: Ask the server they are so accommodating!!

Ordered for take out and the food was ice cold. The burger party was also not any better than a McDonald s patty. It used to be a good, handmade patty. Also got the cheese curds and the dip came in the size of a thimble. It never used to be so terrible. I ll never order again.

Awesome staff, great food!

Went in to check out the breakfast menu. It s a nice menu with a variety of options that are mostly unique to here, atleast for this area anyways. The tater tots with the cowboy butter is fantastic. It s a flavour that had my wife craving more.

The absolute best french onion soup in the Niagara region, and the feathery nachos cant be beat. Staff is fantastic. This place is a monthly stop for my wife and i.

Went in for lunch and a nice member of the wait staff told to sit anywhere. My husband and I sat and were ignored for at least 15 minutes before we decided to leave. The same served said thanks! We said that we were totally ignored and left. The table we sat at was completely empty and clean. There was no way we could have been mistaken for a couple that had already been served but nice try.

Feathery Nachos are the best!

Best food in Niagara

Traditional English pub with awesome food. Dipped in here for lunch the other week and had delicious two piece haddock and chips. Excellent atmosphere and service. Can t go wrong at this spot. It was close to full even for lunch time. The nachos are a regular for us as well.

Just ordered 6 meals for my staff and it was all fantastic! Not only was the order 100% accurate, it was also still hot when I got it back to work! Very friendly staff as well!

Slow service, food was dry.
