Its a takeout place that should be a 100 seater restaurant charging a pretty penny! It is anything but. The food is exceptional. EXCEPTIONAL. The owner a very hardworking sweetheart. And the the food. Aiyaaa....nothing can be said about the pita pockets secret menu item except yummmmmmmmmmmm yummm. You just have to try it and then thank me for introducing it to you. (It is made with a special bread that he bakes in very limited amounts fresh every day, so be there, or be square!) The dinner plates, the shawarma and the desserts are all exceptional too! As are the meat pies. We live over a 100 kms away and I came back to get some of the best shawarma this side of Beirut within 3 weeks of trying it for the first time. Do yourself a favor and try this place out. Better yet take a few of your loved ones. I just realized that I am gushing. But as I write this I am dreaming of the next time we are in the vicinity of this wonderful little place. Its about thyme for sure. All day, everyday. We wish the owner who works so hard from morning till night, continued success in the years to come.

I am writing this literally as I eat it. Hands down the best shawarma I ve ever eaten! I was recommended here for a great shawarma and they did not disappoint. I m always looking for new things to eat for my Friday work lunch and I m so glad. I got a chicken plate and my co worker a beef wrap both phenomenal will definitely return. This place is a must have if you like shawarma wraps. Ive bin here 4 times so far and each time he always makes it awesome. Super friendly guy as well makes waiting for the food worth it with a nice conversation. All I gotta say is if your on the fence on trying it you 100%sure give it a shot.

Maybe it s because we moved here from Montreal where great middle eastern food is so abundant, but I really don t understand the ratings for this restaurant. We ve eaten here twice (because I wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt) and both times the chicken shawarma was so dry! Although it was reasonably flavourful, it took a very long time to make and the results were less than stellar both times. I will give them credit for a very good falafel, but for me the Shawarma is a fail.

Simply the best! Sam stays true to his Lebanese roots when it comes to his food. All traditional meals and baked goods are made from scratch! You will become a regular, I quarinty!

Had the chicken shawarma wrap. It was fresh and flavorful. My son had the chicken shawarma plate and my husband had a special menu item that had no name, intentionally, lol but it was so fresh , tasty and amazing. Beef , cheese and garlic sauce melted inside a sort of flat bread. My son and I frequent a lot of Mediterranean and shawarma places and this is now our favourite. Its in a sketchy part of the city but dont let that stop you. Our meal was prepared with confidence by the owner who knows how to prepare great food. Appears to be mainly take-out but so worth it. My son forgot to ask for hot sauce on his plate so its not automatically put on.

Best shawarma and falafel you will find in the Niagara region. Dont skip on the desserts either.

The owner is so sweet, educated us about what makes his shawarma so different from the others and it was by far the BEST shawarma we ve all ever had!

Its about Tyme. Where to begin.... We got two chicken shwarma plates. One with no rice. We also got the special from the secret menu. The portion sizes are ridiculous. Neither one of us could finish our food. Everything is so full of flavor. The bread is crazy. Crispy but melts in your mouth at the same time. The sauces are to die for. Everything made in house. Now lets talk about the service. The service alone made the experience as amazing as it was. Even if the food was mediocre which it certainly is not, I would still go back just got the service. Prices are reasonable, food is delicious, and service is outstanding. 10/10

Their food is always on point. Ive had different shwarmas but the Lebanese one here hits different. Also ask for the meat pie they make. Its pretty good as well.

Cold falafel. Never been served anything like that before, not sure what happened. Soggy cold falafel, cold bread wrap straight from the fridge, super unappetizing cold wet soggy falafel wrap. Strange pasty sauce tasted like raw tahini and strange guy who worked there. Wont be back. The only redeeming thing was that the parsely in the toppings was decently fresh. Why have a restaurant if youre going to serve cold falafel on a cold piece of pita bread? Went back to complain but they closed early. Would not recommend, theres a hundred other better places to go! Very disappointed

Chicken quesadilla shawarma is a really good Friday secret menu item Ive ever had. Make sure you ask for their secret sauce(better than big Mac sauce with a light kick). Their fries are like In and Out Burger and McDonalds.

So glad I found this place! The place is very clean. The food is very delicious. I got the pocket as per other reviewers. It did not dissappoint. Also got falafel (ny husband says they need more salt and dipping sauce), got waraq anab which are great. Highly recommend this place, the owners are a sweet couple. You ll feel great supporting this small buisness. I was confused by parking but parked in the school parking lot and was in and out so no issues.

The sign outside says Best Schwarma that s what made me go! It definitely is the best Schwarma that I have eaten in the Hamilton, Toronto, Niagara regions. The difference from the chain restaurant Schwarma is unbelievable! It s getting rare to find restaurants that cook in house and this restaurant does just that! I bought some spinach pie triangles to go and WOW, they have sooooo much flavor! The dough is like homemade bread - but the best you ve ever had! I will definitely be going to this restaurant often. The portions are perfect, you ll have some leftovers (always a bonus).

Something was off, I cant put my finger on it. It had so much more potential, the food was good, but, felt incomplete, the service was good but felt like I was being judged somehow... my experience could have been so much better, maybe Ill give it another go sometime in the future when I dont walk in to order in an anonymous fashion.

Was so excited to try this place out after hearing about all the reviews! It absolutely lived up to the hype! The food was delicious, especially the secret menu item (can t wait to see what the new item is!) and the service was friendly and welcoming. The takeout containers were STUFFED with food and the flavours were 10/10! Can t wait to go back!

Love the owner of this little shop. Been kind of going there more or less since the stores opening. That coughing disease kind of stopped a lot of things. I cant go wrong. Everything on his menu is wonderful that I can eat I have quite a few allergies. Only suggestion is always ask for hummus order any of the Shawarma plates the garlic Mayo that comes with the plates is quite tasty but personally I prefer hummus Dietary restrictions: Im allergic to flour. But everything on his menu minus the wraps themselves has no flour minus one or two things I dont know about.

Had high hopes for this place after hearing great things, ordered a falafel wrap and was given cold falafel, wrap wasnt grilled or anything - just a cold wrap with cold falafel

Quality is declining. Went in yesterday and food was cold and bland not fresh like it was before. Portions are getting smaller as well. And he puts mayo and mixes a tiny bit of garlic and calls it garlic. This place is going downhill. First time I went there it was everything I could ask for and more but now its turning into every other low quality shawarma place.

Went to this place for a quick bite and was left super impressed. Compared to all other chicken shawarmas I ve had the chicken shawarma here beats them out of the water. The crisped up wrap, perfectly portioned toppings and beautiful chicken all combine to make something wonderful. It was also my first time having a falafel wrap and now that I know it tastes that good, I will definitely be having it again. Service was friendly and quick and is everything I desired. I will 100% be coming back.

If you haven t tried this place yet you re missing out- a hidden gem!! Amazing juicy chicken on the shawarma wraps, love the fact that they don t use pickled turnips unless asked for. The garlic sauce is to die for. The way they grill the wrap after makes it nice and crispy on the outside. One of my favourite takeout lunch go-to! AMAZINGLY AFFORDABLE

You just cant beat the price here. The authenticity you get from Sam and his food is unbelievable. I tried a few shawarma places in St. Catharines, never knew about this one, until I asked on a Facebook group whats the best shawarma in St. Catharines. Most of the answers were pointing to this place. So I gave it a try and Im glad to say Ill stick to it. The wrap was unbelievable tasty, but the pocket made me a fan. The owner, Sam, though busy, is super friendly and the place is very clean. As for the prices, they are also the best around. Good job, guys!

Tried Its About Thyme for the first time tonight and loved it. The food is fresh, delish, and the staff/owner are very friendly! I often find that when you go to chain shawarma restaurants the rice is very low quality/tasteless but the rice here was amazing! We will definitely be back.

We ordered the chicken and falafel plates with a side of tabouli. The food is fantastic, so flavourful, generous portions and you can t beat the price. I could eat the garlic sauce like soup. I called 15 minutes ahead and our order was ready when we arrived. Small place, very clean and friendly owner. Small sign out front, you could easily miss it. Highly recommend!

I lived in the middle east this was authentic Ive also tasted different kind of shawarmas in all st cathraines but nothing was as good as this place! The signs says best shawarma in town you better believe thats 100% true ! Yesterday I tried the beef pocket and it was exactly as described the flavors in the meat, the bread, the tomatoes and pickles garlic yum yum!!! I dont know why its a secret honestly it would sell out lol. The pocket was so filling that I still had enough left for the next day.

After hearing about this place from a friend we had been meaning to try it over the past year plus and put it off too long. We ordered through door dash this evening and had a mix up with our delivery but were able to easily call the restaurant and the owner quickly fixed the order and was able to make the delivery himself. That s amazing service and we couldn t have been happier with everything! Chicken is so juicy and crisp Falafel is packed full of flavour Baba Ganoush is smoky in flavour and smooth in texture (the way I like it) Garlic sauce is beyond addictive Pitas are fresh! Tabbouleh is fresh and zesty!

Best falafel l have ever had. Small shop and great service from the owner/operator. Fresh daily and some interesting drink options. Sadly l took the Shawarma home and got caught by the bridge so l had to microwave it . Next time lll eat it in the car and give a real/fair review. Amazing food. We got 2 falafel dinners and they were amazing. The falafels have an incredible flavor and the garlic sauce is so tasty. The tabouli was fresh. All the food was so fresh and yummy. I also had the cheese and beef pie pastries. They were crisp and warm, with a great mix of seasoning. This has now become my top shawarma place in the Niagara region, I highly recommend!

The food is authentic, flavourful, and inexpensive. The service is friendly and has the family-based business appeal. I order the chicken shawarma and tabbouleh salad. I would order both again. I agree with the other reviews: this is undoubtedly one of the best Mediterranean restaurants in St. Catharines and possibly Ontario. Give this restaurant a chance and you will not regret it!

This place is an absolute must try! Falafels are delicious! Fluffy on the inside and fried perfectly! A must try! Cheese pies are also delicious! Highly recommended! Also tried the chicken shwarama plate which was also really good. Would of prefered more chicken. As I ended up with mostly rice left over. Place is very clean. Highly recommend this place.

I try to stop by whenever I get the chance, they make delicious sandwhiches and I love the spinach/cheese/meet pies they sell as well. Absolutely recommend!

After seeing a post on social media recommending this spot and how nice their owner Sam was, I headed straight over ! I was not disappointed. This item is called the Pocket. A secret menu item you have to ask for but boy is it delicious. I have never enjoyed a better meal, the pastry was so light and flaky and filled with so much good food! I highly recommend giving this place a try!

The Pocket was insanely tasty. Everything was 10/10.
