I had the worst experience and got the buffalo chicken sandwich it was soggy like so soggy had no flavour whatsoever no spice nothing and it comes out and it s the smallest sandwich I ve ever seen the chicken patty must have came out of a box cuz there s no way it s breaded in house . server didn t even ask us how everything was ..which was horrible would not go back . Would rather go to McDonald s that s how horrible it was .

Parking: Only a few spots out front but a large parking lot out back. I had no trouble parking anytime I have been there.. Kid-friendliness: Kids are welcome and treated well Wheelchair accessibility: There is a main floor that would be wheelchair accessible. You could have use of the washroom. I was there on cruches and well accommodated. There is a step-down to more tables but no need to go down...

I m sick after leaving this restaurant. The chicken was a bit off and as soon as I finished it I felt nauseous. I didn t even eat my fries because they were stale. I mentioned it to the server and she offered to replace my side and then charged me for it. Service was also sub par from the older waitress we had. Overall awful experience and I would not recommend wasting your money on food that will make you feel terrible after eating. The standards at the restaurant are below sub par. I would give zero stars if I could.

The service was horrible. It seemed like we were an inconvenience to the server. If you dont like your job, or you arent able to be kind to your customers, get a different job. We waited a long time to place our order. The food was not good. The burger was over cooked and dry. The Caesar salad wasnt mixed well with globs of dressing and 4 croutons. The whole experience was terrible. We will not be back.

Spent money to go there to watch hockey and have a few beers and was gonna Oder food at 9pm but they cut me off after 2 beers was not happy I was there a month ago we spent like 300 on drinks and food and got served all night. Bartenders were ignorant will not be going back.

Experience was solid overall. Although waitress took my chicken fingers even though I had three left and was not done. Very wild, never had that happen before.

Very bad food, French fries that look like they were a year ago in the fridge, the food does not look fresh, the smell when you enter the restaurant is that of old grease, I have gone to eat there several times in the past and it was good, now it is very neglected!

I have been there now 6 times and keep forgetting to write a review. From the moment we walk in each time we are greeted with a nice hello and a smiling face. We are led to our table and the wait is never more than 2-3 min. till our wait staff arrives. Food has been good every time, service is good and staff friendly. We drive in from Welland, as that one has been disappointing

It was very warm inside, and it didnt seem like the AC was on. Also we were seated at a table and waited for about 10 minutes and no one came over to check on us or ask for a drink order. So we got up and left.

Waitresses were great the food was delicious and arrived in a great timely manner and the price of fabulous I will be back again and again thanks Chucks

Best steak Ive had in a long time

Love this chain and think they are on the right track, but this location was nothing short of a disaster. We waited a solid 10 minutes at the front - a few employees walking around and looking busy but not coming to welcome and seat new guests. Finally, someone came over and we were seated. Another 10 minutes and someone comes for the drink order. We order a desert at the same time - another 20 minutes before it comes out. While we waited and waited, i couldnt have a conversation with my wife because 50% of my energy was being spent on trying to keep the excessive number of fruit flies out of my 30oz beer. We ate the desert, which was great, and I finally lost the battle to the fruit flies. In my beer of which I had 1/3 of left. I called the server over to show her, thinking she would replace that 1/3 - nope. Just a blank look and hands me the payment machine. After that, my wife went into the washroom and it was full of fruit flies and filthy. I went to check the mens washroom and it was the same. You couldnt have used it because of all the fruit flies. I counted at least 30 of them. Can only imagine what the kitchen and food storage would look like in the back. Just a lousy, dirty experience. Always check the washrooms before you eat in a restaurant - its too bad restaurants like this one make that good advice.

I really like it at Chucks! Food quality isnt 5 star but they took their cheaper cuts of meats and make it really work. Cooked exactly the way I asked for it. Appetizers were weak (mozza sticks, tempura shrimp) felt like they stayed in the fryer a lil too long and tasted like it came out of a box) . Over all I had a very pleasant experience, will def go again!

Absolutely the worst meal EVER! We were a group of 7, wasnt busy but our food was mediocre, at best. My husband had 2, yes, two hairs in his chicken!! I triple checked mine before I ate it!! They offered him another meal, which he agreed to but had it to go as everyone else was almost done their meals. She brought him out a caesar salad as an apology...we werent charged for it, surprisingly but we were charged for the dinner!! My sweet potato fries were mushy and cold, the rest of my plate was just better than room temp. They were out of 2 kinds of their steak!! Isnt that their main dish??? Huge disappointment and embarrassing when bringing out of town/country family for a meal.

Food was amazing and the service best ive had in a really long time

We were staying at the Capri Inn in Ste-Catharines right across the street from Chucks and they were the ones who referred us when we asked them what was good in the area. We were even able to go there on foot! Our waitress was very nice and when she saw that we were French speaking, she even started speaking French to us! We ordered according to his recommendations and we really liked our meal. A great discovery for us!

Ive been going to Chucks Roadhouse here in St.catharines since it opened. Food is good. Rhea and Gerri are fantastic servers. Sadly recently the manager has arbitrarily made changes to the menu so certain items which I would normally order are no longer available. These items are still available at other Chucks location so Im not sure why he would make these changes.

Visited during the long weekend for lunch with our parents. The AC was not working. It was super hot. The food was tasteless. Ordered 4 plates of steak and lobster meal and one fish and chips. The fries were the worst fries weve ever had. They were soggy and undercooked. Steak was ok. But not up to usual chuckss standard. Lobster meat was so hard and chewy. Wasnt fresh at all. Waste of money. Utter disappointment. Will never visit this location again.

Charming place with excellent food at a reasonable price.

This was my first time at this restaurant. It was a bit busy at the time of my visit and there was a little wait time to be seated. The server was friendly and efficient. I had the 12 ounce rib-eye. Everyone has told me that the steak is cut open when served so that the customer is happy with it, although this was not done. My only complaint was that my steak was overcooked. When I mentioned this to the server, the response was basically oh well.

I don t normally leave reviews, but this is bad I asked for a med steak and fries, several attempts at making fries, tasted like they were made yesterday warmed up in the microwave served today,steak was ok but definitely not medium, I received rare, paid for entire meal and probably never return. Left hungry, should have red more reviews here, Stay away Update, personal has reached out, with a standard update, absolutely horrible experience, this visit and reply has definitely made my visit horrendous, stay away.

I recently visited this location and was pleased. The steak was cooked perfectly and bursting with flavor, while the service was top-notch. Sipping a cold beer on their inviting patio was the perfect touch. I definitely recommend this place for a great meal and a warm, welcoming vibe.

Friendly staff but the food, while not bad tasting, very bland. I had the chicken parmesan. I could not believe how small it was and the slice of Kraft cheese they melted on it. Sorry but we won t be back.

The wait time is too long even on a week night ??? Waited almost 30 mins to be told that we will not be seated at all?? Im a server too but what the hell?? That is not what im taught and that is not the service expected from a chain that is 100% dependant on customer service and experience. The servers have to be re trained or taught how to deal with people. No concern for seating maximum amount of people possible because there were empty tables. But i guess the owner is not planning to be profitable or atleast that is not what the management portrayed.

I went here for my Birthday diner with family and it was without a doubt, the worst food and service I have ever had! We were a table of 6 and when we walked into a almost empty resturant we could see the r3actuon of our soon to be waitress lile we just ruined her night and she treated us that way when she came to the table. The food was either cold not made right or just plain bad! It also didnt help that everything was comjng out at different times. Mu son got his meal before the apps arrived. He was done and bored when our food came. Not that it mattered because it was barely edible. I sent my plate back and it came back worse. Just steer clear of Chucks Roadhouse.

Love the half off apps - probably why the flavor was only so-so. The server we had was very attentive and checked in on us often. Atmosphere can get a little loud, but nothing unexpected for a sports bar. Bathrooms are atrocious though!

I went to Chucks yesterday. Meal was ok but was shocked when the bill came and now they charge a Honest to goodness tax. Never heard that before. I have eaten at Chucks many times and now I will never go back. Nobody ever told us about this tax and they just found another way to tax the customers. They advertise low prices and just hit you with another tax.

Very good steak but last time I went the steak was not 20 oz steak. Why are all restaurants cheating and cutting back. This is a brutal time for customers and how can people afford the increases. The steak was good but we noticed the smaller portions and they charge that extra tax. Good place still. Please dont start cutting corners and give customers good portions. The server was kind of pushy asking only 3 times after we got our food if we wanted the check and if we are paying together or separately . Not if we wanted water or how the food was. I still like this place but some waitresses just want their tip and get you out. I do like chucks. I gave them a good rating.

Took 20 mins to get sat, no direction as to why we were waiting. When sat waited another 10 minutes where we had to flag someone for menus, ended up walking out 5 minutes later because we still had no drink/ food service. Very disorganized, serves all looked annoyed no smiles.

Caesar salad with chicken wasnt great, too much dressing, chicken was alright.

Birthday dinner service was great, friendly and pretty efficient. Atmosphere it was jumping and super busy good energy BuT a bit loud for our group table. MY FOOD was not great and i did not eat the Montreal Smoked Meat Sammy tasteless. But the other guests enjoyed their steaks.

I have Stated that my reviews are genuine and honest. In order to do this I have to speak about @#$ things. Chucks is great and Ive been a fan of the pricing since the liberals have thrown the country into a poopoo show. Lets start with the good stuff. Price point , cold beers , the flesh of cows being grilled and it looks good inside. Now the negative of my experience. Our server was Id say half a bag deep into a little bender. With the lack of care and lack of placing the order. She forgot to hit enter and only realised this after us asking how much longer the food was going to be. The answer as long as it takes to cook it. All in all not the best Chucks experience but Im not going to hold it against them . I just hope someone wiped down the lid on the tank of the toilet .

Chucks is a real happening place. Always a popular place for food and drinks. Decent prices, good atmosphere and speedy service in my opinion. Molson is the beer supplier of choice here, so there are limitations on options, but the happy hour deals outweigh that issue.

LIVE SPIDER IN OUR FOOD!! Its been over a week that I emailed the Owner as he requested, and no response. My husband is considering filing a report with Public Health. We ordered a salad and a one centimeter black spider crawled out from underneath the lettuce while we were eating. A fabulous place to eat unwashed vegetables! Furthermore, the bartender and Manager found it humorous.

Went for appetizers and what was supposed to be a couple of drinks on Monday night. Our server shandi was quick to come take our food and drink orders when we first got there. She brought us our food and immediately walked away. She never asked us if there was anything else we needed. We needed extra plates and napkins but our server was NOWHERE to be found. We had finished all 3 of our appetizers before she even came. It took her 35 minutes to come from the time we started eating to when she came to get our plates. She than came and grabbed our plates off of our table and again never asked if there was anything else we wanted (we wanted desert and to order another drink as our drinks were almost done) we finished our drinks and waited another 15 minutes for her to FINALLY ask us if there was anything else we wanted. (We still ordered desert but did not order another drink because we didn t want to wait another 30 minutes) so when we ordered desert I than asked for the bill immediately. She brings us our desert and of course doesn t bring us our bill till about 10 minutes after that. She drops the bill and walks away. I left cash and just left right away. Yes I still tipped her (not as much as I normally tip my servers) and me being a server I know what it s like. But she was terrible. I m not sure if it was because it was the end of the night. (We got there at 7:50) and maybe she was going home? But we were her only table. I m a server myself so I do understand a lot of things. But this was unacceptable. Never ever again will we be returning to this location. We will stick to Niagara Falls.

I came here for lunch a few months ago, oh boy, I was sooo disappointed. We both ordered the bacon burger and fries!!! OMG the bacon was almost burned black! The burger was totally bland. We didnt eat much at all. After having given this restaurant a 4 star rating, I had to remove it. I really wish restaurants would employ a chef, after all schoolboys, who are given the job as cooks, mostly dont know how to make toast,certainly Dont know how to cook.!! I rest my case.

Everything was fine. No better, no worse. Food was on the bland side and service was on the slow side. Weak beer selection and out of Michelob Ultra. Dont regret going, but would not go back.

The owner is very hands on. Observing his staff, it is very evident that every one is happy. Thank you for making our dinner experience a really good one. Overall I would give my experience a three tonight. It would have been a two but Im being generous for the fact we were a walk in party of about 30 after a kid hockey tournament probably half kids/ half adults. When ordering with the bartender she did amazing what was shared was on a team tab and what was ordered individually was under our childs jersey number. When I personally ordered apps for myself and my niece and nephew they were typed in properly but the serving staff treated them as shared food and my niece and nephew did not get any of the food I order specifically for them, nothing was adjusted or offer of a replacement meal like, it was only chicken fingers and fries. I paid for other kids to eat which is fine but I had to order it twice in order for my kids to eat. A huge compliant was the taste of the wine and we saw the bartender open a new bottle, I dont know how it is being stored but it tasted and smelt soo off. Our party was missing food, a mozzarella stick order and garlic bread which was still on the other bills we recieved individually. We just decided not to argue about things because we all had a long night. The bartender amazing, the food was good and came out as it was ready but just the overall organization of knowing how to deal with a party especially communication between runners and the bartender I would say D-.

So many types of steak choices, lobster tail, ribs, wing, chicken, burgers... my daughter loves it, and thinks the atmosphere is better than The Keg, or Montanas Kid-friendliness: Family dining

The food was delicious. Good portion sizing, good prices. I understand we were there on a Friday night, and it was busy but I had to ask my sever for several things he forgot. He was a little insulting with his attitude when I asked politely. Ill give maybe it wasnt a good day, extenuating circumstances, short handed ect. Even though all of that maybe true, I shouldnt have been made to feel like an annoyance. Hope buddy has better shifts in the future then this one.

Went to Chucks with my family of five. The server came out with the wrong order. I had to eat it as all of my familys meals came out as well, and i didntwant to eat alone after everyone was finished. The server said she must have misunderstood the order, which is understandable at times. They didnt offer any type of compensation and still put a mandatory 3% tip on the bill. I am disappointed!

Had the worst service ever upon arrival, the server Carly is very rude and unpleasant. Great steak place, great service and great prices!! Appetizers for 50% after 9 PM is super! Kid-friendliness: Kids liked the pasta options and the boy loved the steak!

What can I say... $4 pints until 5pm and $9 for a Chucks burger and fries -- and its a proper quality family restaurant! Whether you are hanging out to watch the game or going out with friends (half-price apps after 9pm) you simply cant go wrong. If you can match the atmosphere and enjoy a steak and lobster tail for $25, I need to know about it!
