83 Geneva St, St. Catharines, ON L2R 4N1, Canada
Vietnamese place with a plentiful menu featuring pho, rice & noodle dishes in simple quarters.
This place was amazing! The service was excellent and the food came fast. The food was amazing! The rare beef soup was very good value and had lots of beef in it compared to the other places. I would recommend this place to anyone hungry because this place is awesome!
Rare beef pho & rice wrapped spring rolls both fantastic. I get them every time.
All I have to say is that, thankfully, I am SAFE If it wasn’t for my partner just around the corner in my reach, I took a bite of my noodles and started chocking.. Doesn’t my partner pull out a huge piece of plastic! I called the restaurant and explained the situation, she says: yeah sometimes when we cut the bag pieces will fall in the soup! But I can give you 15% off next time you come?? I am absolutely horrified and upset. Extremely unprofessional, and obviously this place needs a better health and safety check in. I will not be returning to this location again.
Great place! The menu doesn't do it justice, but the food was fantastic. Recommended dishes: the Original Banh Mi (a sandwich) and Pad Thai Tom Ga (Thai-style noodles with shrimp). The latter was heavenly!
I ordered a fried rice and I enjoyed it. Being from Ottawa I compare any fried rice dish to one I get all the time there, this fried rice is up there. It’s a bit on the saltier side which I don’t mind but it’s a heads-up for others. The chicken wings were juicy, crispy and tasty. The taro drink was nothing special, it tasted like something I can make at home, which is good but again nothing special. The restaurant is quite large and there is a good amount of parking too.
A family favourite. Always leaving satisfied with a warm full belly. Cold rolls, deep fried Wontons & grilled chicken soup are the go too.
Food is good, but I think something is missing in the fresh spring rolls. Pho is great though. Will still come back with my friends there.
The food is delicious, they give a lot of noodles although the portions of pork, chicken or seafood are quite poor, you will fill your stomach more with soup and noodles; the atmosphere of the place felt comfortable, not at all luxurious, it is just a traditional Vietnamese food restaurant. Customer service is bad, they are teenagers who don’t mind knowing if you are ready to order food or pay. I would come back only because the food is delicious and at a good price.
It is their choice to take substitutions, but as someone with a dairy allergy, sucks they wouldnt make a smoothie with coconut milk or at least water instead when they have it. Still ordering their food though
Food is ok here but very expensive
Ordered two pho , some rice paper rolls and a bahn mi which I finally got to try for the first time it was all wonderful
Parking: 20 available park Kid-friendliness: Good Wheelchair accessibility: Not bed
Always fast and friendly service. Food is always tasty :) Vegetarian options: separate section on the menu for vegetarian dishes Food : 5/5 |
Service not good, and the food is not delicious
Will never be going back here. Showed up almost an hour before close to eat. They tried to seat us at a dirty table, then proceeded to hover over us as we wrote down our order (we know the numbers off by heart of what we order) then they take the order and say we re closing soon and told us we needed to eat fast when we got our food. We ended up telling them not to put our order in, and just left. I could see if it was 30 minutes before closing but I found it to be extremely rude of them to say that/act that way toward paying customers.
Tasty food. Plenty of parking.
Food was excellent. One of my favourite places for Pho. You go here for great food not for service or atmosphere.
I eat here quite often and the experience gets better every time! The food comes out fast, the service is excellent and the portions are huge. Dining here is worth every dollar you spend. If you come to St. Catherine s you need to try Pho Dau Bo!
Id say the food is ok but needs to be updated to less oil and more flavor. I feel some of the food caused an upset stomach to myself and my guest. I am not sure of its the large amount of oil or of if the vegetarian food I ordered was cooked and contaminated with meats. Either way I think this restaurant needs a bit of upgrade in those things. The staff was very friendly and accommodating I hope they can improve these things before I can visit again.
Fast friendly. Great soup.
Just had my leftovers, found a fly in my soup. That s it for me!
The chicken on bun looked like hearts and livers, not good...all you taste is cucumber, the rolls, were terrible...awful lettuce, and the shrimp where cut in 4 slices not a whole shrimp, bit a 1/4 slice....never again....it was terrible....edit, I hot a pm from manager or owner, didnt identify themselves, but said its not hearts or livers..gross dark dark brownish grsh meat.. Id assume the color of this chicken, its not chicken...I am 68, and never seen meat that dark on any chicken...maybe another type of wild meat...and the shrimp were 1/3, hr said halfs, but I didnt eat them, so took out shrimp, its not cut in half, dude ...no way...
Good food, nice staff, the restaurant was clean and well organized
Absolutely amazing as always
Lemongrass chicken is also my go to
Great food and prices. Quick service.
Its delicious, especially with the chili oil
Great place! Awesome food! Kid-friendliness: They are great with kids! Brought out separate bowls and spoons for the kids to share our dishes Food : 5/5 |
Had lunch take out. Get back to work and the complete order was garbage. The food was full of oil and way over cooked. The soup was also old and noodles all over done. This is the 3rd and my food has been not good. Have been going there for years. But its not the same last 2 years, and no quality. $100 for lunch for 2 people to throw out. Will not go back.
Food is good but dont expect a smile, a hello or any kind of proper customer service. They also prefill cups of water, who knows how long they sit at the table before giving it to you. Just want decent food? This is a good place to go.
I either eat in or use Skip the Dishes for the restaurant. Ive been eating Pho for decades and could eat it every day. What I love about Pho Dau Bo, is, thats also a series of restaurants. Most cities have one, but the menu is chock full of other interesting items you can have. My second fabourite is their Vermicelli bowls. Price is great and the amount of food on your plate is more than generous. Wheelchair accessibility: Just a lip to get over, great turning radius before the next door, then youre in
ONE OF THE BEST SPOTS IN NIAGARA!! Easily the best Pho spot in Ontario. All of their locations are my fav ones to go to. I m there pretty frequently and i always get either a 323 Large or 342. Check it out.
We go to Pho Dau Bo regularly. Food is great and well priced and fresh. Staff are always super helpful. And its a wonderful place to meet up with friends!
They have quite the extensive menu, and food always comes out fast and consistent. Great selection of Pho, however it doesnt end there. Many noodle dishes, and the Banh Mi has been great.
My wife and me went at the Niagara Outlet in Niagara On The Lake. It was dinner time when we decided to just eat dinner to a nearby place. We were craving for some Vietnamese food Pho and searched on the map and the name of the restaurant came up and we have the similar name restaurant to where we live. Of course we thought that it woulld just as be as good as the go to vietnamese restaurant we all known so well for ages. Then we got at the restaurant oh yeah it is a bit tricky to find especially at night , the parking area is not well lit and there is a metal gate and who would think that there is an entrance as our gps suggests. So had to made a few turns to go back at the location that our gps is set to. From the outside is it really hard to picture that there is a restaurant there parking area not really inviting and goes for the restaurant as well, but we don t mind as long as the food is amazing. The same as our first experience at our to go Vietnamese spot and I believe the original location is still not changed but it get busy whenever we are there and that s a sign that this is the spot. Our order came the wife ordered the beef noodle soup and I did quality taste and it is good and my order came vermicelli with sautéed beef in lemon grass and pepper, and i was really disappointed it was nothing close to our go to spot , the beef is not grilled and has no taste and the fish sauce is really far off. Every time i order that dish me and my wife fight over who gets to finish the dish. We are full but we still have that craving that s why we always bring our families and friends at that restaurant it is soo good as soon as you are headed home the taste already reminding us to go there again. Parking: Keep your eyes peeled especially at night Wheelchair accessibility: The parking is level with the restaurant s floor and there no steps or any stairs. Flat asphalt from parking to the dinning area.
Great pho big selection and awsome stuff
The food is great! The best Pho in Niagara area.
I feel really sad to give two stars to this restaurant. We used to live in NOTL and visited this restaurant regularly because of the great food and friendly staff. My brother-in-law and his family are visiting us from abroad, and we took them to this restaurant after visiting Niagara Falls and NOTL. We were very excited to show them great Vietnamese food and the hospitality of this restaurant in St. Catharines. We arrived at around 9:25 PM (the restaurant closes at 10:00 PM). We asked the crew if it was okay to dine in, and they said yes. We ordered Pho (rare beef), a vermicelli bowl, and Bahn Mi. Food: The food was good as always. I still really enjoy this restaurants food, and I give it 4 stars. Service: Unfortunately, the service was terrible. All the staff looked rushed, unapproachable, and acted cold (as if thinking, Why are you here at this time of night? despite us politely asking if it was okay to dine in before we sat down; they could have just told us the kitchen was closed). Cashier: The cashier, who appeared to be the manager, entered the total amount into the POS machine and quickly selected a 15% service fee. When I mentioned that I wished I had the chance to decide, they responded that it was restaurant policy and that we had to pay the service fee (for party of 6?). I have to say, I didnt see this policy on any menu, as far as I remember. In conclusion, this restaurant used to have a different manager, and I wonder if the new one is more focused on revenue than on customer service.
Gud pho
Its pho. This particular location is the worst of the bunch. Compared to pho 18 or the location on hwy 20, the food lacks flavour. Some ridiculous rules on the weekend. Just go elsewhere.
We come here all the time. The food is amazing best pho around.
This place used to be amazing and my fav Viet spot but the last few times I ordered the grilled chicken vermicelli its been very bland and the chicken wasnt grilled well, it was cheesy and rubbery and just so unpleasant in texture that I couldnt eat it . The rare beef pho is still great tho !
Their food is fine. Fry spring rolls are nice.
Portions are great and economical. Large variety of sauces to put on your spring rolls/pho. Been coming here for a while and definitely wont be stopping any time soon
Nothing special, food is basic, service is horrible. Be prepared to be treated like they are paying you to eat there.
Tasty Vietnamese Pho in the Niagara region. Worth the drive there from Niagara Falls.
I have tried a number of different Pho places and this one is definitely my favorite place to order from. The Pho broth is so spot on with flavor! I will always order from here! 10/10 recommend Pho Dau Bo!!
The meat is getting smaller
Nice family run restaurant
Food is okay. Like any other Vietnamese place. Nothing special. Service however was poor. Servers should also learn how to treat people of color right, specially brown! Food : 3/5
Some of the best pho soup Ive had in my life. Im so happy this is in my city! A staple of St. Catharines
Very good food. Felt like I was in Vietnam again. The portions are very big. My wife whom is Vietnamese said that her soup was three times the size of the servings back home. Very satisfied. We will be back.
Tried this restaurant on the way back to city after my first visit to this town for the tulip farm. Let me tell you, it was AMAZING. Food was not only great but AMAZING, staff was very kind, restaurant was clean. Deserve a more hypeee
Great pho
Prior to this place we had the opinion that all Vietnamese Pho and pork chops tasted pretty much the same and we couldn t go wrong. Unfortunately that s not the case with this place. Pho was mediocre at best. Meat portions were small and noodles were overcooked. Pork chops were bland and rice was too wet . Chicken wings on the other hand were excellent! Staff were friendly and food arrived quickly
Love the food. Fantastic soups, and the banh mi are delicious!
Nice place great Pho.
Ordered on line for pick up - prices were inaccurate and not matched with their online page. Was told to use SKIP for delivery but it wasn t an option. Spring rolls were grease soaked and Pho was bland. Only difference between L and XL serving is the cost. I won t go back
Pho was tasteless and smoothies tasted like sugar
Parking: It is shared with beside the Asia Mart. Food
Pho Day Bo is an OG of pho in Niagara. They have figured out the perfect formal. Nothing too fancy but effective and delicious! This is the true definition of fast food! You are seated usually right away. You place your order and in under 7mins your bowl of deliciousness is infront of you! The portion sizes are absolutely satisfying and the food is on point. Broth is amazing. If you havent been or having a hard time deciding which pho to try. This is a sure bet! Two thumbs up
It was good the last time I had it a couple months ago but their sizes for takeout are smaller and the taste of the fried spring rolls is different and just not good anymore. The soup is bland. Not worth going here anymore.
Great place. I really enjoyed the experience
phast, phresh, phriendly pho. The largest pho Ive visited with plenty of parking! Cant go wrong with pho dau bo
Amazing people The food so good
The pho is good, friend spring rolls as well. Fresh rolls could house more vegetables, mostly noodles. The Bahn mi I always got beef was good but today they put minced pork liver in it. When I brought it up, I would ve liked them to take fault but they claimed that I needed to specify I don t want it. When I showed them the menu never specified pork liver and that I e had it many times before without, they re tried to say maybe I didn t notice. Would ve appreciated them not making these pointless excuses and maybe have given me the next one on the house (only 7 bucks but more about the principle). They two bites of pork liver just turned me off from the whole meal that I don t think I ll be going back for awhile, if ever.
Really big portion sizes. Friendly staff. Great food.
Spring Rolls were hot and crispy this time, dried out last time. Mango salad was so-so. Lemongrass beef vermicelli and pork vermicelli were barely lukewarm, tasted like they had been made long before we arrived. Our second mediocre meal here. Poor value, quality, wont be back.
Ive been here a couple of times. The staff were always pleasant. The food is sub-par, the Ph soup was warm at best, not hot. However, I do have an issue with the coffee. I ordered a Vietnamese coffee (espresso), but they use instant coffee instead. Initially, it tasted suspicious, but I witnessed it with my own eyes. I was disappointed and never ordered in subsequent visits.
After just two months of not eating here, we got a surprise on how much the price of food has gone up, the pork chop is now thinner, and the grilled chicken is smaller than before. The free soup tastes like seasoned (pepper) water. No more going back here. There are better Pho restaurants in the are.
Place has the best fresh Rolls in the Niagara region. All PHO DAU BO restaurants in Ontario have the best Vietnamese
We found this location on the way out of Canada. They have varieties of food options, I enjoyed the pho more than anything else. The do serve authentic Vietnamese drip coffee with condensed milk Parking: Free parking space Kid-friendliness: Family friendly Wheelchair accessibility: Yes
Outstanding food price was rite Quick service..mostly delicious... Food
Scam Artists The soup is great but the lady tips herself... $14 bowl of soup ranges from 19-$22 depending on her mood for the same thing. Food
Super tasty!
Stopped in on family day and was surprised by how spacious the restaurant is. Clean, friendly service, with your variety of sauces and utensils set on each table. I ordered the rare beef pho soup and added extra vegetables and chose the large size and it was VERY big. Definately too much for me to finish but it was delicious. I also ordered the shrimp fresh rolls and they were also very good.
Incredibly fast service, very friendly staff, prices were quite good as well!
Been coming here for years, the staff is amazing, food is even better. I have never been disappointed. Pho always hits the spot
Its hard to say its delicious. . . . The coffee was made with ground coffee, the cucumber slices were not fresh, and the soup with pork trotters was just added with chili oil. . . . And then it s too expensive. . . .
Had a decent pho here. Would def go back again.
SCAM ARTISTS Ordered takeout food and the price went up over 7 dollars of the price on website. She said they haven t updated website since before covid. . Scam artist at their best I felt like I was scammed by a carny . They will add the 35/percent tip if you don t notice. I noticed Last time I go here. Lady was rude and the food tasted like it came out of a vending machine. One order of spring rolls and a medium soup came to 35 dollars and one cent. Scam Artist
The best place for Vietnamese food in St. Catherine. Have been coming here for years and never disappointed. Everything is authentic Vietnamese and tastes delicious. Significant price increased recently but I guess it is ok since portions are fairly large. Can be shared with 2 persons if you both are relatively small eaters. Ample parking available.
Stopped in here for lunch with the kids on the way to Great Wolf Lodge. We were very happy with the food and service. Will pop in again next time we are in the area.
Ive been going to this place since high school. The staff are so pleasant, and the food is always given quickly and precise to the order. One of my student mentioned he got sick once, but Ive never had a less than fantastic experience. Parking: Good!
Our favorite Phó.
Spring rolls are a must!
Always fresh and delicious Very happy to have this restaurant so close to home!
Amazing amazing amazing! The pho is excellent, will be a regular place to visit when we are in the area.
Found something moving in the hot sauce...
We went for lunch -- food and service was outstanding. Portions are large! Have to come back.
Been coming here for years and have never been disappointed! Quick and efficient service with super delicious dishes. Really convenient as I ve brought many friends who have never really had the chance to experiment with Vietnamese cuisine before and the selection of menu items is broad enough where everyone has found something they enjoy. Pho is very clean tasting and steaming hot every time!
Prices are not what is posted on online menu, fresh pork and shrimp rolls had a piece of bacon, not bbq pork and there was a hair in my pho soup
Amazing Pho.
$14 for a small soup is ridiculous and it honestly wasnt that good
Very pleasant service. Gigantic menu, and the food was great. Very big servings.
Good service good i, food is great lots of choices
Huge portions, excellent food We love this place! Food : 5/5
Always good. Excellent place to go.
Smaller portions.and prices have gone up... this at 19$ dish.
Great place w delicious food and big servings :)
We had #334 the grilled chicken pho. The chicken was amazingly flavourful, tender, and plentiful. The Staff are outstanding and friendly. Were looking forward to going back soon!
Tried chrispy fried egg noodles with shrims and chicken on the side. It was amazing!!! Loved it. Tried a beef rice noodle soup. Got the medium size. HUGE portion. Small size would have been perfect. Taste was just ok. Not a huge fan. Price is medium level Good atmosphere Friendly staff Parking: Free parking is available infront of the restaurant
One of my favourite Vietnamese spot ever. Their vegetarian options are great - one of the most flavourful and delicious vegetarian pho I have had. My family and I I have also tried their vegetarian noodle dishes + Banh Mi and those are delicious too (great portions so thats an added bonus).
We usually get takeout from here. It is always consistently delicious. I get the grilled chicken pho and it is amazing.
Good food with reasonable price. Seats are spacious.
Very tasty food, more than enough parking space and tables to sit at. Looks like Ive found my pho place!
soo good and such huge portions! definitely recommended!
They are very rude
This location does not follow franchise standards. N c ch m is to be fresh with each meal, not in a bottle at the table. Food quality is subpar. Broth needs work, can be clearer. Noodles are cold sometimes. Price per portion is okay but X-Large bowls are pretty much Larges. Parking lot can be a mess. Marked for One-Way Traffic but does not always happen that way. Time Limited Parking available on street. Clean Washrooms. Staff are friendly and can speak English and Vietnamese. Parking: Parking lot can be a mess. Marked for One-Way Traffic but does not always happen that way. Time Limited Parking available on street.
A little pricey but excellent food and quality
Rare beef può was regular, nothing notable. The spring rolls was subpar, the batter wasn t great, it had way too much oil residual, more than other Vietnamese restaurant I ve been to.
Was very nice! Servers were fast, and it was a very open and clean area! Parking out front was amazing as the downtown area is often limited for parking. The meals were good although a tiny bit bland, overall everything was great! Something to note, we marked some things to go and was served at the same time as the rest of the meal, not a massive concern just something to point out!
Great food! We had raw beef pho and spring rolls, and they were just as good as I expected. Everything was fresh and well-prepared. There is a large outdoor parking lot in front of the restaurant, which is pretty convenient.
Great takeout. Always a treat for the kids. Have been many times and will continue to go.
Delicious authentic Vietnamese cuisine!!
Great service and great food!!!
Meh. Wasn t impressed. Won t return there are way better places for pho waste of $35
Tasty food.
Food was very good and filling. Serving sizes are huge and I just got a medium sized bowl of Pho. The service is very quick, and the ambience is nice. It seems like the people that work here are family or at least family friends, so it could be a family business. I really enjoyed this meal, knowing that it is an authentic dish.
Some of the best Beef Pho that Ive had.
When I moved away from the GTA (Markham/Scarborough area specifically) I was worried about missing out on amazing Pho restaurants. Until I found Pho Dau Bo . I have visited many pho restaurants across Canada claiming to have the best pho Pho Dau Bo has THE BEST Pho .I have ever had. -Amazing proportions -Engraved chopsticks -The greatest fried spring rolls to have ever touched my lips -Great prices I am so lucky to live 15 minutes from this place, and even if I did not .I would make the trip simply for this restaurant. Get some
This used to be one of my favourite restaurants but it seems to have gone downhill badly. Had the vermicelli with grilled pork as well as the cold rolls. Neither had any basil or farang coriander. The grilled pork was not grilled, barely spiced, and tasteless. This used to be so good. So sad. I will not be back.
Ive only had takeout from Pho Dau Bo, and it has been VERY tasty! I ordered the seafood pho and another dish - both were very yummy. When I sit in the restaurant, I will take photos and give my full opinion. This restaurant is a to be continued review.
Alright, prices are too steep for what you get
I m a Vietnamese Canadian and I ve eaten at this chain before. But I ve never experienced this before. Food came out like it was microwaved or pan seared, not the usual grill cooked food I am used to. Service was poor, basically self serve as you look at the menu, write it down, call them over and pay at the front. Food came out looking light colored, barely cooked and tasted the same (the chicken and pork). I would not recommend this location at all. Avoid at all cost.
Very good Pho. Easily one of the best in St Catharines. Staff are friendly and attentive. Highly recommend.
Meal was excellent. Food was served promptly and hot.Service was functional not attentive one step up from self serve, Best vegetable spring rolls in St Catharines. I think they are the last pan Asian restaurant to hand make their own spring rolls. Even Ma is serving heat and serve food service spring Rolls. Deep fried tofu is light and crispy just like its supposed to be. Fresh savoury Thai basil garnish both elegant and tasty. Only real negative for me was no sweet chilli dressing was to be had with my vermicelli noodle dish. I hadnt been to the restaurant for at least three years and the menu pricing had doubled which is a sign of the times I guess. I am not a fan of the trend towards pan Asian menus so that Vietnamese restaurants are serving Tai dishes and house sauces are becoming indistinguishable between Chinese Tai and Vietnamese venues. But it was still a very satisfying meal. Portions were generous without necessitating a take out bag. Vegetarian options: Wide assortment
I asked for no white onion, just green (leaves)onion only. Owner said that they don t have it because it already mixed up with white onion. I m ok with that. Later on, I asked for a glass of water. She glared at me and walked away. Not even do it! I don t understand this situation!!!
We tried to ordered hot filtered Vietnamese coffee 2x and both times got iced coffee. Also, the Pho was served with bean spouts that were going off. Bean sprouts are a common vector for food poisoning and should only be served fresh. In addition to this the broth of the Pho was lack luster. We enjoyed our time despite this and the other dishes were well received and enjoyed. The portions were large and I was happy they had rare beef soup. I tried sending this message privately via email but could not find an email option on their website for some odd reason... I do hope they can improve their operations.
Used to love this place. At the prices theyre charging now, they need to really up their game.
Delicious food, quick preparation, nice waiter, spacious environment, nice ambience
Good service
Definitely recommend this restaurant. Looking for a restaurant late in the evening, after a winery tour, we stumbled into Pho Dau Bo restaurant. We were a party of 4 and shared fresh pork & shrimp rolls, beef Tom Yum congee, mango salad and fried rice. Outstanding taste and very reasonably priced. We paid $50 between 4 people
Noodles are fantastic
Huge portions. Great taste. We love all the sauces options they have! Food
Portions are good but the service was poor. Went in for takeout and the person cashing me out added a 20% tip to my order so quickly I wouldnt have caught it if I wasnt watching the terminal. Disappointed that a portion of my money was stolen and I was not even asked if I would like to tip.
Tried the banh mi was excellent, service was very friendly. Everything is made fresh.
Portions are big. They serve you a pot of jasmine tea right away & love their Vietnamese coffee.
As this was my first time at this place I didn t enjoy the food at all, as I was greeted very poorly when I asked for help with the menu guy goes read the description WTH. I didn t like it as much as few places in Mississauga and brampton. It lacks many things. I ordered two orders of their house speciality and the amount of meat in it was disappointing. And than he tried to tip himself. What shady practices.
This place is specialized for non-authentic vietnamese food (esp. Pho) ! Moreover ice coffee the Legend of vietnamese drink is Not authentically done from a filter but instant coffee. Too bad ! Food
First time having Pho, and it was so delicious, also had the amazing blueberry bubble tea.
Good food and reasonable prices. Pad Thai was good and large portion. Spring rolls are great, and theyre big.
We tried this Pho Dau Bo restaurant today for a quick lunch. The service was fast, helpful and friendly. There was ample parking in the lot for the restaurant, a rare occurrence in downtown St. Catharine s. we had some of the PH TÁI G U (rare beef and brisket in rice noodle soup), as well some fresh rolls and spring rolls. Everything came out quick and was great. Would highly recommend checking out this spot if you are looking to try something new or have a craving for some great Vietnamese food.
We go once a week, we like the 328 soup
Friendly staff large parking best spring rolls you gotta try them I stop in when in town just because of the spring rolls. Clean washroom but hand dryers are super loud can hear them in dining area. Vegetarian options: They have and can accommodate Parking: A few big flower pots in parking lot would add to the view for dine in customers they are blessed to have a property like that so should use it to create atmosphere.
Meat portion for rice is small and pho broth is diluted. Other than that a fine place
NOT enough good things to say about this place!! Its amazing OVERALL!!
Very affordable and healthy choice. When you are In a rush. Food
Sprouts not fresh. 12% service charges added in the bill. Food : 3/5
If Im getting pho, Im going here. Their prices have barely gone up in the last 10 years, so it is still well worth getting for dine in. The only issue Ive had is when Ive gotten take out, the extra large size order does feel closer to a large that you would get for dine in Parking: It can get busy enough that parking is difficult, however most times of the day there will be multiple spots available Kid-friendliness: Ive seen kids there multiple times. The atmosphere is quite neutral, so the only thing to worry about is other customers
Very best Vegetarian options: The tofu was very fresh Parking: Lots of parking
Nowadays there is only one way to get to Niagara Falls and it s through St Cathrines with a stop at Pho Dau Bo. The food is always fresh and delicious and I cannot stop raving about the little bowl of soup served alongside their sandwiches. It s a brilliant idea and I think every restaurant serving banh mi sandwiches should adopt it. I cannot wait to be back.
Always good food but not great. The Bahn Mi sandwiches are awesome though the ham one is awful... Reasonably priced and no real atmosphere but good food
Great soup on a rainy day.
Are here with a friend at their recommendation. Loved the pho.
This is a great Vietnamese option if you are interested in their rice or noodle dishes. Service is fast like many other Vietnamese restaurants - always a plus.
Good was subpar and cold Bit pricey for what we got Food
A pretty good ambience and clean Asian cuisine restaurant with amazing Vietnamese cooks that serve good hot soups and Vietnamese starters with delightful beverages like bubble teas to go well with your conversations.
This place has the best PHO of all their location and potential the best I am had outside of Vietnam
Great food
Fantastic Pho, great staff!
Always consistently tasty.
Love the Pho and spring rolls, great food.
This is my favorite restaurant to have a hot steaming bowl of pho. Especially because they have pork pho which is very rare to find. I have been going to this restaurant for over two years now, the taste is still the same. The only downside is the young waiter. He seems disinterested to serve and if asked a question gets a bit offended.
Always a really good meal and value.
Delicious food, friendly staff and an open comfortable dining area. Cant go wrong with this place!
Delicious food and good prices
Didnt have a good experience at all. We found the pho to be quite tasteless and the meat was very hard to chew. Not only that but we found a piece of plastic and a hair in the soup. We told the waiter who then called the manager. He said its only a small piece of plastic, it happens when they rip the bag of noodles. We proceeded to tell the waiter that it wasnt right for him to charge us since we were not going to eat anymore anyways but he insisted on charging us for the banh mi sandwich. We tried to be kind and explain to him that we lost our appetite and it wasnt fair for him to charge us. This is a health and safety concern. We will not be returning. I would not recommend this place.
Went here for dinner after shopping nearby. I got the medium pho and a pork belly banh mi to go. The portion was more than I expected for the pho and the broth was very light compared to my husbands in flavor, but I liked they werent cheap with the toppings. I had the banh mi the following days and it was just OK. Could use more of the mayo dressing inside and the pork belly wasnt the star of the sandwich
Can eat here forever and never get bored with the food!
Disappointing quantity and taste
So delicious always so extremely tasty
Love the Bahn mi sandwiches
Very tasty pho broth, one of the best in the region. Staff are always friendly whether we sit in or take-out. The food is excellent and its one of the few pho places with banh mi, an absolute treat. Portions are very large when dining in, but noticed the portion sizes dont translate to take-out. A large pho in-person is enough to comfortably feed two adults, but when getting a large for take-out, its enough to feed one with a little leftover. Maybe its just in my head, the portions are still large and have excellent value, but definitely go in-person for more.
