Great place with very friendly staff. Big wine selection, with amazing food and cocktails. Every time I come here I always feel warmly welcomed by the staff. Nick is fantastic!

Great gnocchi, great service, great atmosphere

Didnt have food so cant speak for that but the service was amazing . Bartenders very friendly . Cocktails were great !

Disappointment. 1) an email notice asking us to be dressed business casual while the waiter is in jeans with a Disney t-shirt, the bartender is wearing an old stained t-shirt and no one from the clientele respects this dress code; 2) a glass of wine offered by the house, which is not even from the region, undrinkable; 3) 3 dishes ordered: scallops with brown butter, mushroom toast and gnocci. The 3 dishes are for all practical purposes identical. The scallops are served on the same pan of mushrooms and prosciutto that are on the mushroom toast, except for the cream, and the gnocci have the same cream and prosciutto sauce, except for the mushrooms. Were lacking a bit of variety here. 4) the gnocci were absolutely disgusting! The cook certainly dropped the entire salt shaker into the sauce. Its a no-go for us.

The ambiance and food at Twenty were outstanding. We went with a large group of 9 this past Saturday and had a wonderful dinning experience. Everything we ordered was incredible! Service was upbeat and the atmosphere was cosy. Honestly can t wait to go back and try more of their menu! *chefs kiss*

I madea reservation for our 20th anniversary. Kind of on the nose but the reviews we good. We had the olive plate and the Bone marrow. OMG! Fantastic! Cocktails gin fizz and Flightless Bird were great and consistent. My Wife ordered the Brown Buttered Scallops and I had the Herb crusted Bison. Cannot say Ive ever had more delicious food. Almost forgot they treated us to a Peach pound cake for dessert. 10/10 . Thank you!!

Stopped in for some quick drinks and apps before a show across the street . $5 dollar beers and $10 dollar glasses of wine for happy hour . Lots to choose from . Had a small board for $10 which was awesome and some beef tartare - I would write home about . Gnocchi and Brussels to follow which were a 10 out of 10 . Service was great couldn t ask for better . Only downside was shared washroom space. I ll be back multiple times .

Made an indoor reservation for an anniversary dinner, arrived on time and was refused an indoor seat despite the reservation. Won t be coming back.

Cocktails are overpriced and undersized. Food was great although took a while to arrive. Service was not that great. Very inattentive, left for long periods of time, server had a bit of an attitude. He was not pleasant. Had to chase to get the bill.

What a nice surprise! A small restaurant in the city center that was referred to us by a lady in a vineyard. The food is excellent. The cocktails are original and the guy knew how to mix. $10 for a delicious tartare and $5 for a micro beer before 6 p.m. This is the deal of the century. Well done and long life.

Cute local wine bar, with a great atmosphere and interesting cocktails. However dont order the espresso martini, its nice but for the thimble sized glass you receive $14 is far too much to pay. Go for a better sized drink so it more than 2 sips!!

The food here is absolutely amazing!!! Chef Tori has curated stunning cocktails and a beautiful wine list to go with all her culinary creations. Our server Nick was great, he recommended us a bottle of chardonnay that was perfect. The atmosphere here is always on point and it was an evening full of laughter & delicious food.

Food was absolutely amazing!!! Service .. not so much! Our server seemed like he was inconvenienced to help us. Had to flag him down for drinks and food. Never asked how anythings was, until it was tip time. Five star without the server.

I cant begin to express how exceptional my birthday dinner at Twenty Kitchen & Bar in St. Catharines, Ontario, was. The culinary prowess on display here deserves nothing less than a Michelin star. The food was simply 10/10. I ordered the gnocchi and brussels sprouts, which were divine and cooked to perfection. The yuzu cocktail and mango/peach sour beer were both beyond refreshing and complemented the food delightfully. Compared to other restaurants in St. Catharines, the food quality, taste, and imaginative plating put Twenty Kitchen & Bar in a league of its own. Seriously, theyre playing a different game! What sets this place apart is not just the food, but the overall experience theyve curated. The restaurant is tucked away inside an apartment building a stellar deviation from the norm that added to the intimate and laid-back atmosphere. With limited seating just eight twin-top tables and five bar chairs the place is cozy and filled with a calming aura. You can hear the light R&B serenade from the front-of-house kitchen, which is so small it could barely fit two! That being said, the output from this tiny space outranks many established kitchens in terms of quality and flavor. The restaurants single host/server/bartender (a tattooed and bearded chap) added to the incredible experience. He was super friendly, striking up social interactions when appropriate, and maintained a professional ambiance. How can I forget the complimentary champagne offered after I indicated through my reso that we were celebrating my birthday?! This celebratory toast was a delightful personal touch, making our visit even more memorable. I feel the owner must be incredibly proud of the unique and captivating culinary experience they ve cultivated here at Twenty Kitchen & Bar. Theyve done a phenomenal job! To all my friends and anyone I know visiting St. Catharines, Im not just recommending this place - Im raving about it! This has been one of my top-notch dining experiences, and I urge anyone visiting the city to put Twenty Kitchen & Bar at the top of their dining destination list. So thank you, Twenty Kitchen & Bar for making my birthday an unforgettable event. I will be back again, no doubt!

Fantastic meal, absolutely blew my expectations away. The bone marrow melted in my mouth, but the duck was cooked to perfection. Definitely a new favorite for my family

Where do I begin! My fiancé and I have really enjoyed every meal we ve had here, as well as the delicious assortment of drinks Twenty offers. The restaurant is small but cozy, with a funky vibe and great staff who are casual but extremely knowledgeable! Now the Twist. My fiancé and I wanted to incorporate some of our favourite food & drink spots into our engagement photos. Twenty welcomed us with open arms! Not only did they save us the best booth in the house, they kindly stored our things so that we could take photos in and around the downtown area. They even allowed us photos behind the bar, which we were incredibly shocked (and grateful for!) - they were overall just beyond hospitable and kind. They made us feel so welcome, and it was an experience we ll never forget . While we ve always loved the food and service here, this experience just speaks to how kind and welcoming the owners & staff of this establishment are. Simply the best!

Very cozy wine & cocktail bar. The Devil s hole drink (mezcal, rye, aperol, cocoa bitters) was great. The Pimm s Cup was delicious too.

Amazing! We had 6 items from the menu and everything was excellent. Perfect spot to go for wine and to share menu items so you can try everything!

A very delightful place with good food and pleasant atmosphere.

Ok but not more than that. It lacked creativity and refinement. The Burrata board was reasonably good - and they get points for good quality Burrata but there was not much else interesting on the board - a couple of slices of baguette, some crostini which were crispy but overly oily, roasted garlic cloves, three small pieces of prosciutto, and little pots of honey, house pesto (nicely done) and balsamic and olive oil. The charcuterie plate for one had very small amounts of prosciutto, 4 small triangular slices of a very ordinary hard cheese and more roasted garlic cloves. The bison tartare was a supreme disappointment. On the positive side it appeared to be hand cut but the portion of meat was barely bigger than the egg yolk on top so it swam in the yolk - the ratio was so off it was impossible to actually mix the yolk fully into the meat and there was so much yolk and so much grainy mustard you couldn t actually taste the meat. Look at the yellow on the plate in the accompanying picture and the meat lost in it and that pretty much tells the tale. Furthermore it was served with deep fried saltine crackers that were just way too greasy and we couldn t eat them. I don t think the chef here actually understands tartars. The service, however was lovely and we got some good advice from the waitress on portion sizes. Edit: I just noticed someone else posted a picture of their bison tartare about 6 months ago. Interestingly they seem to have gotten AT LEAST twice as much bison as I got. In my serving you almost couldn t see the bison under the egg yolk on top and their portion was twice as thick as mine.

Great little place to go for dinner and fancy drinks. small restaurant so likely packed on weekends and nights. Little pricey but you definetely get what you pay for. Rich and delicious dishes cocktails are very nice too

Chill little place, upscale atmosphere. The food is NICE, cooked to order and well prepared. A great place for date night and to get a nice cocktail. Cant say enough good things.

Service was excellent. Enjoyed happy hour and the food was awesome.

No food available when we arrived, it was after 11pm. The wine options were minimal unless purchased by the bottle, $40 including tip for 2 glasses of mediocre wine.

The duck is a must try! It s fantastic. The steak has some sour sauce on it so if you don t like sour taste I won t recommend that. Very nice little bar for a drink on Saturday night. If you aren t going in as a large party, do request to book a table beside the window, it s fun watching the street of dt st Catherine while drinking

Despite the name, you dont have to be 20 to eat here. There were children with their parents a few tables over and they didnt get kicked out..so under 20s are cool. The food was good, the ambiance was wonderful and despite the date not working out... the food was good. So if you are going on a date and you arent really sure if they are like decent...take them here because worst case you get a great meal and best case you find your soul mate.

The only reason why I even gave it another star is because I like their espresso martinis. First of all place is very small. We ordered truffle fries and buttered scallops. The truffle fries were okay, not enough truffle oil. We waited 30 minutes for our scallops so we assumed they forgot so when we asked for our bill, the server said he was going to wait until we finished the fries mind you these dishes are BOTH appetizers they should be coming at the same time or asked if we wanted it later. We clearly we were going to share the appetizers. The scallops were okay and it only came with three pieces drowning in mushroom garnish so it s not even shareable. Save your money there s plenty of other places downtown to spend your money and time. Atmosphere is weird, would not recommend it to couples or families. I think their trying way too hard to be like a Toronto-based restaurant. Your in downtown st. Catharine s.

My good friends (who frequently go here) brought me and my partner here and I dont know why we hadnt tried this place sooner. The atmosphere was nice and chill, we mainly went for fancy drinks, I havent tried food from here yet but I did have the espresso martini and it was delicious. I was also made a non-alcoholic drink that was equally delicious, I cant remember what it was but it was good. I cant wait to try more from this place!

Went on a Niagara food tour and this was the 3rd stop of the tour. We were served a truffle scallop with mushrooms and fried prosciutto. I did enjoy the scallop but I m personally not a fan of mushrooms. I personally would not order it again. But the restaurant was very nice and clean.

Great food and service. Seared duck was amazing. Kids loved it. Im not usually a huge risotto fan but it was great. Shrimp tacos awesome too.

A great addition to downtown St. Catharines across from the Performing Arts Centre. Small but delicious menu and lots of drink options. Caprese salad and Smore brulee !

Made plans with a girlfriend the day of! Words can not describe how delicious our entire experience was. We ordered the Scallops, Mushroom Toast and shared a small charcuterie board. Contrary to some of the lower reviews; we thought the atmosphere was great (chill vibe) the service was stellar, cocktails were fantastic and the food was bursting with flavour. We will definitely be back!

Ventured down St Paul to Twenty on a Saturday night. The atmosphere around the restaurant was happening with a live band and all the patios out on the road. Unfortunately we werent able to sit on the patio, but got the window seat to enjoy the vibe outside. The food was exceptional. We had the Truffle Fries and Gnocchi, I cant say enough about both these dishes! The flavours did not disappoint. Both shareable sizes and even had left overs. Cant wait to be back to enjoy more!

This place is the best! It s so pretty inside. I love the candle lighting. They are always playing really good music too. The atmosphere in here is lovely. Also the food is amazing! The servers here are always the best, they make sure to check in frequently and do a great job. Love it here

Twenty is the best restaurant downtown St Catharines has to offer. The food was incredible and the staff were so friendly. Were so happy we finally went here! This is our new favourite. One of the best meals weve ever had! Classy yet so reasonably priced.

They have great food but this salad is amazingly delicious. Mat is great host funny and knowledgeable about the food and drinks know his way around the area. The only thing was those crackers with the amazing bison tartare if they change that it definitely become an amazing dish.

Not kid friendly I guess..... went with my parents and the restaurant doesnt provide booster seats or highchairs. Felt a little discrimitory. Just because I have a baby doesnt mean I cant enjoy food and a drink.

By far my favourite place in St. Catharines!!! I m obsessed with local wine and luckily enough all my favourites are found here and if you think their wine selection is road toad you clearly don t know wine very well.

This place is legit a wine bar. Half price bottles of wine on Wednesday s. Bottles will generally cost you about $30-$60 after the discount. This place is very small. The atmosphere isn t too bad if you like small establishments. The music is loud and since everyone is close the overall volume in the place made it hard to hear people sitting at your table. You have to leave the restaurant and walk down the hallway into an adjoining building to use a single bathroom. The food was also not satisfying at all. The food really tries to be too fancy and then forget how to make the dish that then are making by trying to fancy it up. Sometimes the basics just need to be done and by trying to make it fancy it ruins the dish.

I ve heard countless stories of how amazing this restaurant was and their social media marketing was impressive. But when I finally had the chance to have dinner there, my fiancé and I were blown away by the food, the atmosphere and the service. Our night was amazing, and I hope to be back soon.

Went for our anniversary tonight. My husband wont shut up about the bison tartare, my cooking is not going to cut it for the rest of his life. I felt very special, the boys working were wonderful. The food was delicious! Well worth it! It wasnt even raining, James.

Where do I begin. Odd atmosphere, I didnt really understand the vibe as they put it. Apps werent bad, even though they had never heard of salt, but the entrée was burnt (gnocchi). I dont know how it made it out of the kitchen. I thought dessert would save them until I took my first bite of a scorched sad attempt at a pumpkin crème brulee. Let me help you imagine, take pumpkin pie filling and pour an obscene amount of sugar over it and light it on fire for too long. Im trying to save you the horror. There was so much hope and possibility and such a huge let down. I will not be returning.

Came here recently on the Niagara Food tour and absolutely loved it. The food, atmosphere and drinks are always outstanding. Ive never had a bad meal here and would highly recommend it!

Tried this restaurant for the first time and it was okay. The atmosphere feels fancy but I was thrown off by the hip hop music playing and under-dressed staff. The menu is very small but there is something for most. We got the gnocchi and I have mixed feelings about it. The texture of the gnocchi was pillowy and fresh, but they were burnt. Our Baileys creme Brulee saved the day and had a great flavor and texture. I dont think Ill be back but glad I got to try this place.

Food quality is decent, everything we had was sharing style and quite good. Seating was a tad awkward with the table a little too small to have 5 people comfortably.

The food and service here was very good. It s a very small place so the menu is limited. Cute and cozy. Good atmosphere. We ordered the Burrata to start which was good for 2-3 people. We did have to order more crostini as it doesn t come with nearly enough but not a huge deal. We also had the short ribs, gnocchi and baked feta. All were very tasty and nice presentation. The baked feta was missing something it just seemed weird to cut up and eat a brick of feta cheese with minimal arugula garnish and nothing else. But all in all the service was great and food was delicious. Definitely recommend.

Ordered take out, was delicious. I got the buffalo chicken sandwich. Yum!

Order the charcuterie board! Also I had the sliders before and the beef with fried egg.. both AWESOME!!! The atmosphere is great and service and on point! Going back again and again.

The best gnocchi I have ever had

A great new addition to the downtown dining scene, Twenty hits all the key notes; outstanding food, a diverse and delectable craft beer menu and plenty of local wines to tempt your palate. Extremely reasonably priced food, in my opinion its actually a little too cheap for the quality! The duck tacos are some of the best tacos Ive had in Niagara. The Granny Smith pizza is also a must try for a non-traditional pizza. Overall I give this place a Twenty out of 10.

This place is ok but have really slow service. Menu itself is not sophisticated and quite casual. Good place to grab wine but I wouldnt recommend anything other than that.

Absolutely amazing! Cant express that enough. The Smoked Duck Tacos were heaven. Perfectly balanced, so tasty! The Peach Salad was equally amazing. The creamy vinaigrette dressing was to die for, and no dairy! Please support local and eat here! In rebuttal to the two star review. Who I presume was the owner came from the kitchen to take our plates and listen to my comments. Just all around lovely. Bartender/Server was pleasant as well. I feel bad for the person who had a bad experience.

Food here is amazing. Get the duck tacos.....they are just great. The atmosphere inside and on the patio is really nice as well. A great place to have lunch or dinner in downtown St. Catharines.
