Our Taters are cut and prepared by hand too, starting with real, whole potatoes grown by Canadian farmers. Even MB’s Coleslaw is handcrafted in-store from fresh cabbage and fresh carrots!

My food was told it will be ready by 15 min but it took 30 min to get it. Service was horrible the lady who served us was very rude. But the food is good tho 👍 Try to do better 🤘
chicken was undercooked and we let the staff know but she refused to take our concerns seriously and no steps were taken. Disappointing
The food here is fantastic, but the customer service leaves much to be desired. Drive-thru staff seem inattentive, and the in-store service feels unwelcoming. A disappointing experience despite the great food. The employees here definitely need training in Customer Service.
Best food, worst of the worst employees. I don't know how many times I have complained but no change in behavior other than the supervisor. Nothing to do with racism but that one specific Indian employee is so bad behaving and one of the worst person ever to exist.
Date: 31st may 2024 Friday during closing hours. She is making the atmosphere disgusting. Not sure about her name but today we went there to have our dinner and when we were about to leave she asked us to move the chair back into its place. She literally ordered us to do that in a very unprofessional manner. It is not the first time she made us feel very unwelcome in Mary brown at freshwater road.
Great service I was buried in during the storm in my transport truck and they brought me food and Pepsi the delivery guy even came thru 4 feet of snow so I wouldn't have too get wet big shout out too him 👊
I wanted to try the grill sandwich and asked them specifically to make it a little well done cs sometimes grilled food doesn’t cook enough. And they got me the sandwich in 1 minute and it wasn’t cooked properly at all. I have picture attached. The portion I am showing it was cold as the chicken was not cooked. This was disappointing very much
So good. Way better than torontos. Chicken is fall of the bone melt in your mouth. Taters are great! Dessert tasted like banana medicine from childhood 😋 yum

Big Marys for 12 dollars inadequate for a lunch. You can tell they have cut chicken breast in half. Beats macdonalds or Wendys but not enough for your dollar. Also was kinda dry

Its a good fast food fried chicken place. Unlike their competitors, their chicken is not dripping with grease. Its not health food, but when you want a big feed of fried chicken, Mary Browns cant be beat.
The best service i have ever had at a fast food restaurant. Larry went above and beyond and made the experience remarkable. Fast food chains need more people like Larry, 10/10 for the store and service, and a golden star for Larry!!
Mary Browns chicken is the best in Canada! The chicken is always fresh, juicy, and tender, with a crispy coating that melts in your mouth. The taters and coleslaw are also delicious and homemade. I love Mary Browns for their quality, taste, and service. Highly recommended!

Extremely greasy and salty. Missy serving us was so slow and it wasnt even busy. It was just sitting there in the window a good few minutes before she served it to us. Fast food and fine dining it is so not.
Ordered through drive thru at this location today around 4-4:30pm. When I was greeted at the speaker, I could barley hear the man speaking. He did not speak good English and spoke very fast to a point i didnt even understand what he was saying. I drove to the window, the young man (not sure if it was the same person) seemed like he was ready for a nap. Before I payed for my order, I asked politely if it was to late to order a strawberry cheese cake pie as well, he replied I dont know, literally rolled his eyes at me and shut the window. A few minutes later he came back and handed me the debit machine to pay, he looked like he was very annoyed with me. Once I finished paying, he shut the window again until my food was ready. He handed me the bag, I said thank you, have a good night, he completely ignored my comment, no your welcome, nothing. He just shut the window. I have many years of experience in working in fast food industry, I completely understand how exhausting and frustrating it can be, but thats no excuse to be rude to a customer without a legitimate reason.

I have to say that my order was wrong but the customer service is wonderful. However there is no voicemail set up and you have to call over and over again and sometimes you dont get an answer.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY !!! I just had a 4 piece meal and taters, dried up chicken, barely any taters. The taters I did have we dried up and gravy was clumpy. So sad, $18 for a terrible meal.
Dietary restrictions: They don t know how much spices they have to put in Because everywhere same store and never get problems like this store In this store when Indian girls are working they are the only who make wrong and try to kill somebody with too much spicy they make extra extra hot so customers can t eat never come back

I live in Labrador city, so this was my first time having Mary browns at this particular location and I never knew what I was missing my whole life
Second time now that nothing was fresh. Chicken batter was soft, and taters were old, and dried up, nothing fresh. Chicken tenders had almost no batter and were the size of a large nugget. Staff was kind.

I just had to pop on here to share the experience I had today. My self and my friend went thru the drive thru today. And the young man on the window was an absolute breath of fresh air!! So kind, I don t even have words to describe how good you made us feel! All this hustle of bustle of Christmas, we all loose our patience. And this hard worker just blows on thru! Keep up the good work man! You really made our day!!

Visited the store at 10.30pm and ordered a Buffalo Mary and Spicy Big Mary sandwich. Got a regular Mary sandwich and a hardly sauced Buffalo Mary. Not a happy experience. Edit: The manager handled the situation well and resolved the bad experience. Will go back again.

386 Elizabeth Avenue Apt. 322, St. Johns, NL, A1B 1V2, CA. I went through the drive-thru and ordered the big Mary combo. I took it home and when I opened it up there was the chicken on a bun. Plain. No lettuce no sauce just plain. Very disappointing. The taters were good but it was a disappointing experience. Perhaps because it was 11:40 a.m. and there were a number of cars in the Drive-Thru the rush might have been on however, if no one complains then the situation can never be fixed
Freshwater Road, St. Johns NL location. Horrible! Ordered on the mobile app and my order never got delivered. Employee had the too bad attitude and told me to call the manager in the morning to arrange for a refund, which I did. Said manager took my phone number, would call me when refund was issued, and never called me back. If I could give zero stars I would. Worst experience ever!

Its great! Highly recommended the Buffalo Mary Wrap! Honestly the best thing on the menu. I feel like they have something that blasts the smell of the store across the entire Street though, you can smell the chicken from Bigs Sports Grill and the only reason you cant smell it past that is because of the Dominos
Got my order wrong, completely, and when I asked for extra butter on the side of my biscuit I was told I couldn t have it. She said they have it but can t give it to me. Confusing. I had to order multiple different times because she didn t put half my items in the order. The sandwiches had maybe 7 shreds of lettuce on it. And came a mess. Do not recommend this location at all.

Superior to mainland Mary browns. A must try on Big Mary Mondays. The spicy big Mary is a made spicy with seasoning. I like how dangerously unregulated the amount of spice is. Heads up!
Bad. Extremely pricey (you can buy the same food at a proper restaurant for the same price). No seasoning on taters or fries. Big pieces of taters still frozen in the middle. Extremely fatty chicken, almost raw in places, overcooked in others. Put SALT on your food please.

Used to be a favorite. The quality has diminished. My order has been significantly messed up too frequently, the taters filled with rot, and chicken overcooked and hard.
As always, the food was hot, ready quickly and correct, the service was great too. In 7 years, Ive never had a bad experience at this store

A one star for this restaurant is a blessing, ordered through skip and delivery multiple times and never got exact orders! Ordered today and out of the five items on of them was right! Missing food and old sandwiches was served to us! Absolutely disgraceful! Save your money and order elsewhere

Chicken isnt cheap anymore, but Mary Browns is consistently tasty. Tried their Spicy Option and its genuinely spicy. I keep the extremely hot peppers in my fridge, and this is not for old school meat and potatoes folk.
Few diners, mostly pick ups and Skips...lovely chicken and great New York sign-on fries.
