Silver Bowl Ltd in St. John's

Just had the most delicious Chinese food we've had in a long time. Ordered dinner for 8 and it could easily have feed 12-14 people. Couldn't beat the price either. Well worth the money. Will definitely have this take out again.

A nice little surprise. Who thinks a Mall food court shop could deliver great food and service? This busy little shop has fresh tasty Canadian Chinese food that packs a punch and doesn’t break your bank. Great value and food. Couldn’t ask for more honestly.

The female chinese cashier lady was so rude. She kept shouting. No manners at all!!!!! I would recommend everyone not to go there. Even though there was a staff who was trying to talk to me, she shouted at the poor guy too. The good was nasty. I was looking for vegetarian food. She was about to give me shrimps. She knows nothing about the menus and playing dumb. Got it too quick as if it was microwaved. It was so dry!!! I hope you go out of business , lady! You got to learn some manners on how to talk to people!

I placed a take out order for lunch at this location on Oct 20, 2023. I paid for my order and waited at the front counter for my food to be ready. While waiting for my meal to be prepared I had view of the kitchen area and that's when things went bad. I witnessed a male who was preparing food items in the kitchen LICK the spoon to taste the food and place it directly back in the pot he was preparing the food in!!! I immediately rang the bell for the worker to return to the counter to cancel my order and after a slight argument, process my refund. Absolutely disgusting resturant!!

Food was good but chicken balls were hard and stale. The meal lacked flavour overall but was edible. The cashier was very kind and patient. Service: 8/10 but food: 2/10

Extremely rude cashier lady. She started screaming at me even before ordering just because I touched the menu to show the food I wanted. I’ve never been treated like that anywhere in the world, it was certainly a traumatizing experience

Ordered the chicken fried rice and chicken balls, the food came our within 1 min, so its definitely microwaved. I dont expect foods in a shopping mall come out freshly cooked, but at least make it hot enough plz. Also, the batter of chicken balls was way too thick, and the chicken inside the batter was just small and awfully dry. I'd call it Chicken flavored Timbits, not Chicken balls. The chicken fried rice was also dry and flavorless, like a leftover chinese food in a refrigerator from a week ago.

Very arrogant Chinese female cashier. The price didn’t justify the L Chicken Fried rice. Wasn’t well cooked or hot enough. Plus they didn’t offer even a ketchup/sauce along with plain rice. Leave food aside, the worst part was her tone. The rice seemed like from last night
