Only downside is that they were out of tofu when i went there.
The food was fresh, and the staff were friendly. However, I found the burrito bowl a bit pricey.
Been stopping into this location 2-3 times a month since March (it's now September) looking to purchase the fish tacos.. and I get the same answer from the staff there... sorry we don't have fish tacos bc our oven is broken. I'm a bit frustrated.. whats taking it so long to fix or replace the oven? 6 months too long..
Place used to be great Now I go in and spend 50 dollars for tacos that are completely soaked in bean juice and so much sauce I cant taste anything else. They aren't draining the toppings and I only got one sauce and asked for only a little bit Couldn't even pick them up without everything falling apart, both soft and hard shell completely soaked, with the entire bottom of the container filled with liquid.
Good food, price is bit high but portion size is good. Only complaint is they do run out of some things bit early so recommend going early in the day, don't go close to closing.
Great fresh food for your bang for the buck as they say out there . Makes it easier when ordering on the website so ya just walk in like a king say your name bam its in your hand like a football carrier monkey your out the door again. Don't forget the napkins ya all gonna need them to stay nice a neat for the ladies you know what I am saying bys. That still likes the ladies . Alpha Dogs up . Victory ✌️
Not bad.. had 1 spicy chicken and 1 beef barbecuoa
Tasty food with fresh ingredients. Menu is appealing. Service is usually fantastic. Restaurant appears clean and organized. Packaging is durable. Slightly Vegan and Vegetarian friendly. Not wheelchair accessible. Rewards program available.
Best place to have a burrito
The food was really nice! The team members Tahmid and Sharier were excellent at customer service. Dietary restrictions: Halal options available for Muslims
I eat here for lunch and Im good for 24 hours. It really is one of the healthiest and freshest food places around
Good food, good service
Very friendly and engaging staff, made it a cozy environment, delicious food and quick service.
Amazing worker who was super nice and helpful, food was delicious and overall really great place with lots of options Vegetarian options: Everything s customizable, tofu option is a banger
First time getting Quesada. Was a little overwhelming as I was there with the family and had no idea what I wanted or what to expect, but thats to be expected the first time anywhere I believe. But the food was good and the staff was friendly. We will definitely be trying it again.
$19 for a regular size ground beef burrito with extra beef. the regular portion of protein was only about 2 tablespoons of meat. not going to be coming back any time soon with such terrible value
Over priced Non friendly staff.. Every-time they don t want to give you toasted veggies even though they are charging for that. Beans were not cooked.. If I can give 0 zero star I would give that
Most disappointing burrito I have had since I started visiting this place for the past 5 years. Server didnt seem like he had any skill wrapping up a burrito. Had to use a fork ,knife and spoon to eat a burrito. Should have just gotten a bowl if I need a cutlery. Had one staff working out front while the rest of the staff were lost inside.
I found a band-aid in my taco
Excellent
Drunken chicken bowl is great! Can be on the healthier side also, with the right choices.
This location is nice. I miss the Steak option, and they ran out of rhe spicy chicken on the night I attended but was able to find an alternative. The price remains decent for the city. The atmosphere in this location is lacking, front door is broken and the general feeling of the eat in area feels run down and out of date. Its right on rhe edge of that to creepy to order food state, more so if youve never been to this location. Parking: Its a shared parking lot with other business in a small strip mall. Most days you have no issues finding a parking spot. Wheelchair accessibility: Its a ground level business with correct sidewalk ramps and door ledges.
Not worth the money paid $32 for 2 small burritos that were garbage . If you want a decent good burrito go to burritos Mexican out on topsail road.
Loved the grilled chicken borito.
good food,a touch over priced
I come here like 8 times a day (my wife is getting suspicious)
I like getting Quesada when really hungry. It is very filling and I love how you have lots of toppings to choose from.
They have the best Burritos and service in town.
Had some very very yummy mini burritos yesterday. The staff was nice. Mine was made by a blonde girl with a low pony thank you girl!!
Delicious .
The doors into the building do not have push buttons making it inaccessible. The burrito bowl was served cold with no offer to heat and they dont have a microwave. Wheelchair accessibility: Not accessible. Counter too high to view options.
This place never has enough staff to stay open. When it got enough staff they couldnt even keep the place stocked with hard shell tacos. It seems like they are closed a lot. Food is amazing, and i use to go there a lot but not worth it anymore.
My first visit was bad. Really bad. But I gave it another chance. Glad I did. Been back many times for consistent quality delicious food. My bad experience was a one off. I dream about this place its so good.
Worst service ever items were missing in my bag and had to drive 20 mins to get it back.
Great job guys.... highly recommended the way they greet and care for their customer
Ordered a burrito bowl for my coworker and a burrito for me, only two items that came to 70$. No extra add-ons. The food arrived cold, and arrived an hour late with no updates on the food delivery. Giving a 2 star rating, the food is good but definitely not worth the price.
Bland, kinda messy
It was good, lime subway for burritos
$14 + tax for a large burrito. The sign says a large is 12 (a regular is 10). This was about a 7 burrito. I wish I had taken a photo. It was good, but definitely not as advertised. At least one bathroom was down to 1 piece of paper towel. The checklist does not show any indication that they checks were being completed. Today is the 25th, for reference.
Tried it out for the first time. The price is oppressive. Flabbergasted by the cost of 2 bowls. Was literally at Jeremy Charles new restaurant last night and paid less for a plate of food that was foraged and cooked to perfection by a 5-star chef.
Took my kids out for supper after shopping, with 4 kids it can be a handful, 1 child was being especially troublesome but the 2 male workers didnt mind at all and they are greatly appreciated. Vegetarian options: Tofu recommended as a default. Parking: Large shared parking lot Kid-friendliness: Patience of a saint.
Had a good salad
Food is good but price is way too high. 30 dollars for one burrito and a drink is theft. But it still tasted great
Girlfriend ordered a burrito bowl that was less than satisfying and quite expensive, it was NOT visually appealing. Customer service wasnt the best, as we only ordered one because when I went to order mine they let me know after I asked that the had no steak. A simple sign would have sufficed as I was there for about 15 minutes trying to decide what I wanted for my first time there. So I decided not to order anything. Dont think we will be returning, Burritos Mexican Grill is a much better choice with a far friendlier staff.
Very very good food. Fresh and willing to deal with the young ones. Explaining things and showing them his to make the food. Staff is great. Store needs to get cleaned a little more around the tables. But they are busy making food right now so dont have time. Had a cod burrito was very large and great taste. Will be back next time Im up in Newfoundland
Very good food. Great frendly service.
Excellent every time
MFs in here got tacos, burritos, quesadillas, its absolutely out of control
Interesting and they have Tacos
was delicious, I had the spicy chicken Big burrito, every bit worth the money
A great place to enjoy Mexico quiesine. In a Canadian city.
Top notch service and food! Although they really need a tip function on their debit system so customers can show their appreciation to their great staff!!!
Great food
Best burritos and tacos in the city! Protip: soft shells on the outside of the hard shell tacos
Staff is friendly and the food is delicious.
Excellent
Good but the prices have crept up
Wheres the tofu option !?
Food is good, but the customer service is not good.
Always delicious. And they make to order!
Okay nachos but didnt like guacamole
Build your own burrito with some great choices!
Steak taco with refried beans is off the hook
Good service decent meal.
Delicious! We will be back.
They have gluten free options
$10 plus tax bucks gets a you a decently stuffed burrito. Not a bad deal but should include the drink for the price
Food taste great and good spice.
Really good. I was surprised for one of those burrito chains. Oh, and the hot salsa was actually hot. Good spot.
Hours of operation should be altered as when visiting the store past 9pm they have very little options left. Last few visits they have had very little to no beans of any kind, coleslaw, salsa, and even rice. If the intention is to have the store open until 10pm then it might be a good idea to have some options left after 9pm.
I walked out when I saw the small quantity of ingredients being put on the burrito for the customer in front of me
Never left without being fully satisfied with my meal. Always tastes great.
Food is handmade and fresh. Staff was kind, patient and accommodating.
Very nice place, with friendly staff. Affordable prices.
A pleasant surprise from garden variety tacos. Good quality and fresh ingredients made the difference. Choosing from a good selection of toppings made it just the way I like it. Ill be back.
Decent selection
Good pork asada burrito.
Great food!
Awesome food and quick service
Really good!
Id literally eat here every meal if it was feasible.
Quick and friendly service! Plenty of menu options!
Mexi food. Burritos to order eat in or out. Can be slow if busy.
Best roasted veggie burrito in St. Johns
Staff has always been super friendly when I went in and are very helpful if its your first time there. Great food though it airs on the pricey side of fast food.
The food is great. It can be slow when a few people are ahead of you and the lineup can be awkward but the food is very tasty.
Good and fast texted food. Reasonably priced. Busy at lunch.
Fresh food yum!!
Decent customer service, could have been better though. Burrito was a little soggy from the beans.
Fast, friendly service. Good food.
Excellent food. I need this in Nova Scotia please.
Full flavour, fresh ingredients - awesome food on the go.
Great food and service. My son would eat there five days a week if he could.
Great value, perfect spot for a quick bite. Fresh ingredients, and housemaid guac and salsa.
Delicious food, one of my favorite fast food restraunts in the city. I had a brief encounter with the owners as well, lovely people. However the staff, with the expection of a few young men, are consistently rude and dismissive.
Great place to eat great value for your dollar
Very basic, Burrito Jax in Mount Pear is a better option with more variety. Price is not good for the portion size. Price & value are not synonymous here.
If you like Mexican food and getting it fast this is the place for you
The food is fresh and delish, and the guys here are super hot (in my opinion)
The chipotle mayo is amazing
Cold tacos, cold meats and dont put enough on tacos
The best tacos Ive had in ages
Had one bad experience which was promptly dealt with and with amazing customer service
Great healthyish fast food option. Good quality for what it is. Just watch out for cilantro if you dont like it.
Best burritos in town. Much better in flavor than Chipotle.
Service is always great, and the food never disappoints you if you know what you want.
Great food
Great Spicy burrito
The food is always delicious!
MMM..... Burritos.!
Best of the new taco places in town. Love the pickled onions! But you need to start heating your taco shells!
It was healthy and different :)
Portion size is not consistent with price against competitors. Fresh green pepper was not a vegetable choice. Male staff had thick beards and did not wear hair/beard nets when handling foods.
I like tacos but cilantro is never available. When I ask why Im told because it costs too much. Today I bought tacos and was asked if I want hot sauce. I asked if I could get it on the side, was told ok, and then was charged an extra $1.48 for extra sauce. When asked why, was told food costs are too high.
Always fast and friendly service and the food is always fresh.
Great food, better service. Cant recommend more strongly.
It was really busy on the Saturday evening we went there but they did a pretty good job coping. I thought the portions were a bit smaller than Chipotle but they have a wider variety and it was just as tasty. Downside was they were out of guac.
Great gluten free options, great food
Love the burritos
Tried Quesada today for the 1st time. Small, basic menu but CLEAN AND FRESH. Not quite in the same league as Chipotle but definitely a welcome addition to the boring, redundant fast food chains we have in St. Johns. Hopefully word of mouth spreads and more locations open up. When Chipotle comes to town its game over, but until then this is my new favorite take-out!
Their burritos are so good but a little pricey.
