I am extremely dissatisfied with my recent experience at your store. From start to finish, it was far below expectations. Despite placing my order 30 minutes in advance, I had to wait an additional 15 minutes at the store before receiving my food. During this time, I observed that the staff seemed preoccupied with personal conversations rather than attending to their duties, which contributed to the delay. Furthermore, I was disrespected by a staff member who assumed I was a DoorDash driver and neglected to assist me appropriately. This oversight was both unprofessional and disappointing. When I finally received my order, I was appalled by the quality of the food. The wings were dry, undercooked, and poorly sauced, making for a very unsatisfactory meal. Overall, this experience has left me extremely frustrated.
ordered a pizza at 12:47 am last night not busy no traffic was told it would be here in 40 minutes pretty long. so at 1:40 i call and ask what is taking so long and about a discount i should be getting for the late food the women on the phone says rudely how driver was only then otw and then hung up on me a hour and 20 minutes after ordered our pizza arrives 40 minutes late asked them and they were willing to do nothing for our wait and ased our delivery driver had very poor customer service. 40 minutes late 1 am on a thursday smh
Called the restaurant at 12:30am, told us it was going to be an hour wait, okay that’s fine. We call back after 1:30am because our pizza had still not arrived but got no answer and immediately said “user busy” because they took the phone off the hook. Finally got ahold of them at 2:18am asking where our pizza was and was immediately met with attitude asking our address. We told her and she said “yeah he just left the building” and hung up. Absolutely ridiculous service and customer service is horrible. This is not the first review I’ve seen like this so no name pizza, get your act together or your business isn’t going to be around much longer. Pizza finally showed up at 2:45am. 2 hours and 15 minutes after ordering.

Arrived late into St. John’s and most restaurants were closed. Hotel front desk recommended No Name pizza. We ordered the Thursday special for pick up. Medium cheese pizza plus 2 toppings, garlic fingers and 1lb wings. We ordered ham and mushrooms for toppings. Pizza was really good, not greasy. Loved the thin crust. Garlic fingers was more delicious compared to the pizza because it had garlic and butter and cheese 😂. Wings were alittle dry but we asked for the sauce on the side so the skin would not be soggy. Delivery charges depended on distance from their store. I decided to pick it up.
No name pizza used to be really good, but has gone downhill considerably. Tonight, I bought a jumbo pizza and jumbo garlic fingers. After tax, the total was $56. That's absolutely outrageous for subpar pizza and garlic fingers. The pizza had a skimpy amount of cheese and toppings. And it just has absolutely no flavor. The pizza is just so bland it's unbelievable. Same goes for the garlic fingers, they're super bland and have barely any cheese. I'll never be back to No Name pizza. Why would I buy pizza here for so much money, when I can buy better tasting pizza and garlic fingers, for less than half the price at Domino's. I'm very disappointed.
Reasons you use DoorDash instead of ordering directly from them. Reason 1- It's actually cheaper to use DoorDash. I normally use DD but decided to order directly from them for one of their, "Specials". I was very surprised when I compared my receipt to the cost for DD to deliver with the same tip it would have be about $2 cheaper to use DD and order the same thing that wasn't a daily, "special". It's not much cheaper, but cheaper is cheaper. Reason 2- If there is an issue with your order (the wrong order, burnt to a crisp, or only half the pizza has cheese on it like my last order when I ordered directly from them) You just send DD a picture and as long as it's legit, and they messed your order up they will refund/credit you and they deal with the restaurant. Good luck dealing with the restaurant directly for something like that. Reason 3- Restaurants are more careful and make sure to get the order right (most of the time) when you order through DD as they know the cost will be refunded by DD if they mess it up. When you order directly, you get what you get, and that's that. Reason 4- You know when your order will be arriving when using DD and can track it on the map within the app. Sometimes, when they are busy, the order can be delayed, and I like to know where it is/approximately how long until it arrives. You don't have that option when ordering directly from them. Reason 4- It's faster to use DD as they have more cars on the road, so they can't compete with that. DD takes 45 min to 1 hr max, and they took 1.5 hrs+. Reason 5- it's much easier. Their website is outdated, not user-friendly, doesn't always work properly, and seems to have hidden charges. When I try and order the dinner for 2 for 30.99 from the specials menu (med pizza, 4 toppings, med garlic fingers, 2 cans of pop) there are two options for the garlic fingers and you have to chose one, one option results in and additional charge for $2.45 and the other option adds and additional $3.70. I just want what comes with the special for 30.99. there is no option for that. I know it's not that much, but it's misleading. DD app is much more user-friendly w/o the hidden charges. Reason 6-You get reward points when ordering through DD. and DD also has many better options. You just have to order earlier, or you get stuck with this. You're better off keeping some pizzas from the grocery store in the freezer in case you're hungry late at night. I guarantee the grocery store pizzas will have more cheese and toppings and will only cost $6-12 instead of $30+
Drop in to grab two slices for supper got left over cold slices and barely any toppings , what happened to this place . You don t need a name to be the best , not the best no more sadly was one of my go to places not no more .

We order quite frequently and normally our pizza is quite delicious, though last night our pizza was missing toppings and seemed to have not been a freshly made pizza as we received it roughly 50 mins after ordering it and the crust seemed stale and hard. We managed to get a refund through doordash, but the staff didnt seem very apologetic for the inconvenience and only sought to defend themselves.

Why have your chicken strips meal gone from a meal, to 3 strips and 12 fries? For the same price as 7 strips and a plate of fries was 3 years ago? This use to be our go to spot for date night but not anymore because there s no sense, one of us is still staved when we finish. Food
No Name Pizza, St Johns NFLD - We ordered our pizza at 11:42pm on Saturday night 08/10/2024, they said aprox 45min - no problem. 12:20am I called to see if it was close to ready and was told still another 40-50min more wait time. They were rude in response but transferred me to the manager who tried to say she took my order and said 50min+ at time of ordering (she did not) using the driver was busy as the reason our 1 medium pepperoni pizza was still not even in the oven 40min after my order was placed. Instead of trying to resolve the issue she said shell cancel if I dont want it and hung up when I told her to do so. We ordered a pizza from Dominos and they were here within 20min, excellent pizza. Clearly No Name Pizza cannot match both the service time and quality of customer service as big pizza stores can - DO NOT order fron them, they were awful to deal with.
The resteraunt is like the website(s online ordering page), old-style (90S/80S), not modern (but in a charming way), Good food, nice staff.
Last two times Ive ordered the pizza has barely even been edible. Pizza was dry, little sauce, and the cheese had an overpowering, unpleasant taste to it. Garlic fingers were also dry and tough like a well done steak

Well heck. No name pizza. I gave it a shot. It definitely was a pizza. I wanted to give a higher rating but the pizza was not a 4 or 5 star pizza. Small things. Size of toppings, placement of toppings, flavour or lack there of with the sauce, and yeast flavoured dough. While none of those things made the pizza a 2 star you could win the game by working on the sauce and crust. You could get a 4 star without too much work and I tell ya if the fixings were more evenly placed and in a larger quantity you by golly could win this thing called pizza.
New to St Johns and have been seeing the tv ads. Looked awesome so we decided to try it out. OMG how disappointing. I dont think they put any tomato sauce in it. Pizza was dry and pretty tasteless. I think I should have eaten the box instead. I would not go back to this place!

This is an ok slice. I generally find it basic, weak on toppings, far too thin crust but in genral, even in spit of these issues, tastes ok. It is cheap!

Do not order from here : PLEASE READ: After travelling for 5 hour , family of 8 ordered 2 Jumbo Pizzas . No sauce , no taste and the toppings was barely seen. When we came home we fed 4 slices to 2 of our kids as they are small and were very hungry . We took the pizza back and received the worst customer service ever . They made us feel like we were looking for free food, it was disgusting. After some back and forth we told them to keep the $60 pizza we paid for aa well as the $17 pizza they were willing to remake . So $60 paid but they only would make a pizza worth $17 due to the fact that 4 slices were missing . I ll take the lose as I am not gonna miss the $60 , they clearly need it more . Ordered four Jumbos from these guys, made the order two days in advance. They cancelled the order 7 minutes before it was supposed to arrive! Probably for the best, if this is how they run a business its probably not fit to eat anyway.

Ordered donairs and garlic fingers and wasnt overly impressed. Donairs were dry and sauce was too runny. Garlic fingers were greasy and didnt even come with donair sauce, got charged for it which was a first after ordered garlic fingers from many places all over Newfoundland and the maritimes.

I ve been heading to No Name every Wednesday for 5 years since moving to this end up the city. For 5 years, the same older ignorant woman has been working the cashier and managing this place. In the past, i ve heard her being mean to other staff which I always passed off as stress from a busy Wednesday Special shift until today when my order got missed in the shuffle; I have anxiety and so was being patient and figured I would get noticed and have it figured out until like 3 stores full of people shuffled in and out with their orders so I finally gained the courage to mention about my order to the great worker who was boxing all of the pizza and then this ignorant lady comes over and angrily scolds me for not speaking up. Since when is it the customers job to run a pizza restaurant?!? All of the other workers have always been really nice besides her (although it is problematic as she is working pretty much every time that I visit). I probably won t be back or recommending my friends to go to this place anymore.

Careful with these guys. Theyll make a mistake on their end and still charge you for an order that you never got. Theyll also charge you for another delivery even though they failed at the first delivery. But like I was told by the manager we made the pizza and tried to get it to you, we did our part, its not our fault you couldnt get your order. Just saying, be weary when you go here. Who knows what other kind of practices they have. If theyre not going to cancel an order and still charge you for a meal you never got after you call in and tell them to do just that. Just saying, if theyre going to steal from a customer, what else do they do to make a buck?

In my opinion its the best Pizza around ,fast delivery,Delious food, hot,friendly staff,everything is worth the price and prices are very good for these hard times that we are all facing in todays world, their wings&chips are good as well and they are correct in saying that you dont need a name to be the best. I love their pizza and other dishes and the fact thats it filling ,tastes great,hot, prices are very good. Its my best place to go now and I know what Im getting.

Ordered two chicken fingers and fri meals and one order of onion rings for delivery $36.00 plus tip $40.00. Only received one order with no dipping sauce which supposed come with it. Looked at bill no amount of cost on the bill looked at their menu attached to half order no prices on the menu. The place is a money grab ripped off!!!! SAVE YOUR MONEY NO SATISFACTION

We were 8 people who visit the store and the cashier at the night shift (I don t know her name). Her behaviour was so rude and disrespectful. When we asked for refund. She denied to do so and said we don t have any refund policy. We asked to talk to the owner and she said you need to come tomorrow for that. She said she will call the cops on us. We said we will wait here. Everything is on camera. We will be happy to meet them. Then, she refund us. It was the first and the worst experience Of my life in Canada. The rest staff (bakers) were so nice.
We went this store last night when my husband start giving the order the lady on counter was very rude she talked in very disrespectful way. We didn t react on it. After that I said her can you wipe off the tables, she said can you wait i am on phone you can t see that in very bad way. Then i said her can I talk to your manager she said i am the manager. She start yelling on us . Then we set on tables she came and wipe off the table she was very angry she put all dirt on me I didn t said anything I ignored herThen we are waiting for foo on me and she again start yelling on us after that we said i need my refund and she denied that. We said show your policy for refund again she denied that. Everything thing on cameras . She said i will call police they will get you out . At the end she refund my money and said don t come to my store again . This was very sad experience. She don t know how to talk with costumers even i am also working in restaurant i know my limits like how to talk with customers. And order was near by 100$ and behaviour was that lady very very bad. I didn t recommend anybody go there becz every time i went there she talked very rudely but last night was ridiculous

I am a regular customer for many years and have never really had anything bad enough to say about this place however this time I do and here it is . Its September12 and hurricane Larry left thousands without power for some people 2 days so far and my family was one of those unfortunate ones. Living in a basement apartment which is so cold in the summer that you need heat on and they are frozen waiting for power so needless to say all food in freezer is thawed and fridge is warm now. Would of loved to have something hot to eat. Not owning a vehicle , having no internet because of power loss or data because its all used up now, I offered to order her food and have them swing by my place and I pay for it and they just drive a min down the road to her with the food and the answer was straight up NO. I EVEN OFFERED TO PAY EXTRA FOR THE ONE MIN DRIVE AROUND THE CORNER to get it to her . This is very disheartening knowing that your own neighborhood community business which is our regular pizza shop would not help in this situation. I really didnt think it would of been an issue . Other times they come with no change and then ask the customer Oh do you need your change ? Who asks a customer that question? NO NAME DO Lesson learned here...Always have money in an account you have access to incase things like this happens in the future

Nachos are always soggy. And when I called back I was told theyre always like that and theyd make a new batch to prove it if I brought the old ones back. With a lot of attitude. I live too far to walk them back and a friend picked it up. I was told oh well nothing we can do. Their poutine is really good but definitely not worth getting just a poutine delivered. 20 dolllars it cost me when I love a 2min drive. Cant leave with an infant to pick up and the driver even refused to come upstairs and made me meet in lobby with a sleeping infant and 9 year old. Bad service by far ! Note: this was awhile ago but recently started reviews online so this one came up, why not review? Only got one start Because usually the garlic fingers are good

UPDATE - Nov 10, 2020 So its been a while since I tried No Name Pizza. A friend of mine lives in Torbay, and she always go out of her way to get No Name Pizza. Needless to say thats surprising. However, I was over to her place and she ordered pizza for everyone. I was pleasantly surprised at how nice the pizza tasted. Then shocked to learn it was from No Name. I guess after 3 years since my last review management changed a few things because the pizza was very good . I also visited on $2.50 slice day (Every Wednesday but it used to be $2.... Still a good deal) and picked up a few slices for supper. Hopefully they have made the permanent change because the slices were very good. I have yet to order an actual pizza but maybe one of these days. This was posed.3 years ago... Not sure exactly when... I have stopped ordering from No Name completely. All pizzas have super extremely thin crust. Forget asking for a slice of pizza. They hide it in the back room because its so pathetic looking if you seen it before you bought it you wouldnt. I think they forget to add flour to the dough. Service is hit or miss. Mostly miss. Prices are too high. Its just not worth it. When I was younger it was amazing. Times have changed.
Got the jumbo special with small garlic fingers. Very tasty affordable pizza. Sauce had a bit of zing and everything. Will be trying again in the near future.
