We ate in restaurant. Our server was polite and so 1 star. But food was terrible. Our crepe with berries arrived as if it had been defrosted from freezer just a short time earlier and served as is. The entire meal of shredded hashbrowns, scrambled eggs, and bacon all arrived cold. The shredded hashbrowns tasted stale, the bacon was fried so crispy it was near burnt and it crumbled to bits when I tried to fork it. The coffee was old and tasted burnt. The cold prime rib benny had two, tiny (nickel-sized) burnt pieces of rib on it. And yet two meals cost us just shy of $50. Well never go back. Which is sad because less than a year ago it seemed this restaurant served a quality breakfast, but no more.

Took a little longer to be served than I expected. When I did get my food, it was after the people behind me had Gotten theirs, but I ordered before them so when I got my food, it was cold. The portions were not great either.

what do you mean you don t have eggs at a breakfast place?? they had no eggs when we were there at 6:30am, which was the first offence. we were one of three tables there so it was pretty quiet but our orders still got messed up. dennys really did not come in clutch for us this morning. the food was kinda mid and the server was confused the whole time. the cherry on top was the messy bathroom. i m sorry dennys kenmount but you did not meet our expectations :(

This morning we came for breakfast to celebrate a birthday, our server Robert was amazing! He was very friendly, attentive and informative. Highly recommend your establishment always.

I have to work nights and at 3am you cant find anything good to eat. Ordered from here and Navjot cooked it perfectly. Steaks, eggs, hashbrowns and toast. So refreshing that even at 3am they cared enough to really put in the effort. Manager was a great guy too. Ill be coming here when Im working late cause its quality 24/7.

First visit here in St. John s. meal was served quickly and was just want I ordered. Recommended. Parking: Lots of spaces.

Bacon is salty, and no additional salt is needed. Same witn sausages. What could i have possibly done to deserve this? I pay, and I tip always. Why was so much salt added to my food?? Sure, I like some salt, but this was wild. Insane! Did they have a problem because I ordered too late/early in the morning? (4:30 am). Its a 24-hour restaurant. The only thing that needed salt was the potatoes, maybe a bit on the eggs, that should have been done in a separate bowl, then added to the container. There was a half teaspoon of loose salt in our food. I thought maybe it was an accident and the top fell off the salt container, but it was like in both meals. What did we do wrong? We were polite, and we tipped %25. Ive been to numerous Dennys over the years. Never experienced this. The food had so much salt on it that it was inedible. Why?

Very bad experience we have last night we went to denny ... food is good ... server have the zero knowledge about food menu.... miss communication... we order the the fired stick and its like grounded beef only one of my friend dnt like so we ask to change... after few minutes server come to us asking how u guys want to do about the dish which we dnt eat we give them back... if we to dine in restaurant we should can afford to pay... he makes us ambress.... I dnt want anything guys... and we dnt like to come back again.. but we still pay and just walk away...

Went for brunch. The food was pretty good, tho we didnt receive part of our order. When we got our receipt, we werent charged luckily but definitely not pleased with the service. Wont be back in a hurry.

Waited 20 minutes after ordering 3 cokes and an orange juice to get them. Waited another 40 minutes after that for our food. Forgot my pancakes. Took another 20 minutes to bring us the bill after we asked and it was not busy. I am all for relaxed service but our waiter was just incompetent. Will not return

Lacey M was our server this morning, we were greeted promptly and with a smile. When my friend ordered gluten free toast she went above and beyond to make sure that everything in the meal was safe for her to eat. She has a fantastic and bubbly attitude and was a pleasure to chat with :) were both retail managers and think she is truly an asset to the restaurant.

Our server Arian D is a rockstar!!! He checked on us a couple of times & offered refills on breakfast coffee. He really lived up to the expectations that are expected from a server at Denny s!!! Thank you so much!!!

Really satisfied with the service and food today at Dennys. We were greeted warmly by the new manager Rod and let me tell you what a gem he is! Made us laugh, felt comfortable and did I mention the food was delicious! Sarah was pur service who also was such an awesome server with great check ins! All I can say is WOW! Way to go rod and team. Dietary restrictions: Gluten free options available- celiac safe!

Never lets us down. Has a great variety of options for every unique palette of our family of five. Only found the music a little loud, but we find this to be true at almost all eating establishments. My daughter wants me to note that Denny s has great ranch. She judges places by their ranch.

Food was Excellent and service was even better 10/10 for sure

Very disappointed. Food was very heavily salted, to the point our 10 year old son was the first to mention it when he said his French Fries were very salty. Homestyle Hashbrowns were the same, very heavily salted. Portions were very small, making poor value for money, the Grandslam should be called a small breakfast. Drink prices are insanely high. We were charged $5.09 for a glass of chocolate milk for our 10 year old. $5.09 for an apple juice which was not even 100% apple juice and $5.09 for a glass of orange juice, which again was not 100% orange juice, it s just cheap old Minute Maid juice. Very disappointed with our visit. Based on this visit, I don t expect we will be back. UPDATE: It was great that the store reached out but dont be fooled. I emailed them as they requested in their response to discuss my families experience and a week later, no response from them to my email.

I never like to leave a 5 star review because there s always room for improvement somewhere but honestly the experience was perfect. We went for a brunch and got seated immediately, the server was very polite and friendly, even asked us about our day. She checked on a few times throughout our meal to make sure all was good which we loved. The food all tasted amazing and was delivered in a very timely manner. We couldn t have been happier with the service and the food.

I missed Denny s from Ontario. Love it in NL. The staffs are great and the food is delicious with big portions. Will try again.

The food was delicious. However, the iced coffee was horrible. The servers are friendly, but service takes forever. The music was way too loud.

We always come here when we are in SJ.. often for breakfast. While there are many great servers if Sharon is working we ask to be seated in her section. Shes our favorite.. goes above and beyond, always friendly.

Wish I could do 0 stars but it s not an option. we sent back the pancakes because they were burnt and they put a booger in them Bacon was dog treats from last night and manger came out and was being very rude and said it was a sprinkle . But you can see the mucus on the side of the green snot. We want to get them tested because of the health and safety violation but she wouldn t let us. Beware check your pancakes. The worst part is that it wasn t our last time going.

My wife asked for a vegetarian omelette with no cheese. The first time they had cheese on it. She returned it and when it came back there was two or three pieces of meat in there. Its a great place but theres often some kind of issue like that.

We ate here several times. The service was excellent. We were served by Rahib and Rasim. Both very friendly and helpful. The food was delicious. Each time we had something from the breakfast menu. Coffee was hot and delicious. Highly recommend.

Coming here on a Sunday morning was a mistake apparently. Over half the restaurant was empty, and still had to wait 20 minutes for a table. When we were seated, we waited close on another 20 minutes with no interaction from any server. So we walked away . We wont be coming back

This was $17.24 ordered for takeout. The Grand Slam - this is 2 eggs, hashbrowns and 4 turkey bacon strips that took 20 minutes for them to make. Disgusting. Total waste of money, this breakfast was a Grand Joke if anything.

My son ordered a milkshake. They gave me a milkshake in a fancy glass along with a metal cup with more milkshake in it. So you pretty much get two milkshakes. Steak and eggs were excellent!

We enjoyed a great service at their St Johns location, food was really good!

Tried this place this morning, and the server was pleasant and friendly. Nice place, very clean which I always look for. 2 issues, (1) very expensive. I had bacon, a slice of ham and hashbrows, my husband had bacon, eggs, sausage, hashbrown and toast. $51.00 not including tip. Seemed pricy to me. (2) second issue was their excessive amount of salt on the food. Personally I dont think there is any need of that much salt. Unfortunately, I will never go back.
