Very cozy, nice place, delicious food, top-notch service, nice staff, one of the best places in the city.

Went in and took 10 minutes to get seated and it wasn t that busy. Fettuccine was dry and the server I can count on one hand how many times we saw her. She had only just given us our meal and asked if we wanted a takeout tray. Felt like hurry up and finish eating type deal. For a first time visit is wasn t the best.

Took one hour to be served, did not have the drinks we ordered and the one we got instead was made wrong (wouldnt be a big deal if we didnt wait an hour to he served), employees were having inappropriate conversations, the debit machine would not work, 1/10 never going again. The worst kind of place, aggressively mid and miserable service.

We ordered takeout on Thursday, August 22nd to take out of town. Upon arriving 40 minutes out of town, we realized that they had forgotten an entire appetizer. I called the restaurant to speak with somebody about the issue and the hostess was so incredibly rude that I hung up, not wanting to argue with someone unwilling to help me while I spent money on a getaway with my partner. I called the restaurant back today to speak with a manager, however, once again the hostess was incredibly rude and unhelpful. They kept me on hold for about 20 minutes to tell me that the manager was unable to come to the phone due to a spill he was cleaning up in the restaurant? I was trying to recoup funds for a product that I did not receive, however, now I am upset with the overall experience considering that the food was also inedible. Recognizing that we were going to be driving for awhile and reheating the food at our rental out of town, we weren t expecting it to be as good as at the restaurant, however, the lasagna inside was grey and all items tasted bland overall. At this point, I m unsure how to rectify the issue other than to leave an honest review in hopes it will illuminate how their business handles customer service for future people wanting to spend their hard earned money on a meal here.

Went in with my toddler and was told there were no tables and that Id have to wait 30 to 45 minutes, I saw 4 empty tables with higher chairs and asked if I could sit there, and I was super nice, ive worked in the service industry myself and would NEVER be rude, but this person at the door immediately got rude and said she wasnt going to sit us there because it would be a liability to have him sit on a higher chair.....there were other kids there and asked a second time saying that hes sat to these types of tables before and had no issues, but she refused......I went outside and called the manager, of course feeling awful that I even had to but I had no vehicle to leave rhe hotel and it was 7 at night, wed been on the road all day and I just needed to get my little guy fed and up to bed......the manager said there was definitely no policy and no rule saying I couldnt and that it was no problem at all, sounding confused that the person even said it to me and to come right in.......after being seated the person who addressed me when I first showed up was giving me the worst looks, and then it took an over an hour to get our orderes in and our first beverage, no one topped up any of the free salad.......the person serving us once less busy was ok, he was still not attentive as he had the bar to serve as well with people playing slots and sitting to the bar...we go to this same chain at another location once a month or so and this is the first time Ive ever ever had any issues, usually we rsve about how friendly staff is and how good the food is, but I wouldnt recommend this to anyone, especially a parent of a small child

We enjoyed meeting the most amazing server tonight. I believe her name was Lil Jess. She went above and beyond to assist us. She provided very prompt and friendly service. The food was delivered piping hot as well.

The food was good. The service was excellent. Traditional Italian food with all you can eat salad or soup and bread with certain meals. Wheelchair accessibility: Ues, but the parking lot is downhill with steps. Drop off at the door, then park.

Went to this location on a Friday evening recently, initially tried for 6pm but was far too busy/chaotic as the staff were very overwhelmed. Left and came back at 8ish and walked right in, so perhaps avoid the typically busy times of day. Its also attached to a hotel so of course the evening dinner rush will be extra busy. The food was on par with most other ESM I have tried, nothing amazing but plenty of food provided, dishes were served quickly, everything tasted good with no complaints. Good spot for a group gathering as there is a side room to accommodate larger gatherings (probably maxes out in 15-20 range).

We love the food however we stood at the entrance as usual and there is no receiver. Staff are talking in the food receiving area by the kitchen and nobody came over. We were behind a couple who were talking about leaving for the same reason. We finally left, frustrated at the lack of acknowledgement. Please please think about first impressions and the importance of treating customers like they matter to your business. We will be back in the future but this is the third time this has happened so finally decided to post a plea for improvment.

Great food, large servings! Great service!

Overall the meal was disappointing. There was not enough salad, the containers were half full. The pasta was dry, not enough sauce on either meal - linguini Alfredo and meatball spaghettini. Plus the linguini was chewy. The only positives were the garlic loaf was fresh and the delivery was quick. Was not worth the price we paid for the family meal. Would not recommend take out or delivery from this location. Expected a lot better meal from here. At least with dine-in you can request more sauce and salad.

Great experience this time around. I will be sure to go back again soon! Scene points taking some money off the bill was a bonus.

Food was as expected. Tasty and lots of it. Its been a while since I ate at an East Side Marios and it feels like the prices really took a big jump. Our server was a little slow but very friendly.

HORRIBLE!!!! This site would not allow me to post a negative review!! The breakfast was cold, cost is $33 for 2 orders of bacon and eggs with 2 coffees and 1 orange juice. The waitress didn t acknowledge the full plates of food and never offered discount etc and said she would mention the cold food to the kitchen. We then found a manger who apologized and said he wasn t advised that there was a complaint and he refunded me $20 out of $33 - better than nothing. I would NOT recommend them for breakfast and I will NOT be going back!

We visited in April and had a bad experience with the wait, food temperature, and food taste. At the time, we vowed not to come back. The manager welcomed us to come back so they could make it up to us. Well, we were impressed when we did. Jordan was our server, and he was super professional and attentive. The food was back to the normal standard. Thanks, Cassie and Devin, for getting us back into one of our regular haunts. Parking: There is lots of parking. Park around back to avoid the stairs

Havent been here in a while and I was very impressed. Food was good and the service was excellent.

Went there today for lunch and waited for 40minutes but never got back from any of the waitresses. They passed me by twice an even said will be right with me but probably they didn t want a single brown customer dinning in between all these corporate people. Left in front of them when they were serving some other customers who came after me.

I always love this place. Its often busy as its attached to the hotel so it may be a little hard to anticipate but overall its some of the best Italian food Ive had... Even compared to Little Italy in NYC. I get the same meal everytime. Linguini Chicken Amatriciana. I love spicy but this is one of the few meals that make me forget that. I encourage everyone else to try new things so I can sample it. Stopped by here for a meal with my family. My first time visiting East Side Marios. The food was great, we were seated and served quickly even though it was 8 of us with no reservations. One of the most seamless family dinner outings we have had in a while. The atmosphere was very enjoyable and we all felt extremely comfortable. Our server, Jessica, although we thanked her at the time, is worth mentioning here as well. She was very personable, professional and attentive. My family even remarked after we had left how great of a job she did. Her name tag said super Jess which could not have been more fitting. Will certainly be returning for another meal soon!

they make good Italian wedding soup and chicken parm and mozza sticks, workers were nice, and its very fancy there.

We had a big party tonight, and despite it being so busy we had great service. Cassie was very personal, friendly and accommodating. We will definitely be back Kid-friendliness: We had two small kids and Cassie was great with them!

We were a large group (21) staying at the holiday inn. Cassie the manager did a phenomenal job in looking after all of us! We had a wonderful dinner and appreciated the great service! Thanks again!

I have eaten at East Side Marios on many occasions and always enjoyed the food. Today, however, I was quite disappointed in the bolognaise sauce that was served. It was very watery and not that tasty. It seems like it was a completely different version of what I was used to. Its unfortunate that this happened, and I hope that in the future, this wont happen again. I very much like this restaurant and hope that this was just a one-off.

Our hostess was a sweetheart and very pretty. Left a 20% tip. Had all you can eat ceasar salad and bread plus fish and chips. Everything was delicious and very reasonably priced. Hey bada boom bada bing.

Unfortunately the experience was awful at the beginning. We are a family of 5, and after arriving the girl at the door said there were no seats available at the restaurant and we could wait. After a small wait, I decided to ask if we could eat in the bar side, and she said yes. When we entered all tables except 1 in the restaurant were empty. And for the next hour we sat at the bar, only 1 more couple entered the restaurant side. The good news is, the guy serving us on the bar side was a real professional and made our day feel better. * I checked to see if any table was reserved and none was, she simply didnt want us there This was the 2nd week in July 2023

Very pleased with the quality of the food and service when I came here for dinner! When requests for menu accommodations are made, the staff responds with professionalism and grace. Actually my favorite place to eat! I normally don t like soup but their tomato soup is one of the reasons I go. They also have great portions of pasta I never leave unsatisfied. The staff there are very patient and accommodating. I love it!!

A nice branch of the chain. Food is reasonably priced and tasty - if you go in with reasoble expectations then youll be happy. Service was fantastic. Only issue Ive had here is that the booths are very narrow. If you are a plus size person it will be an uncomfortable squeeze. Would love to see more accessible seating.

We have not tried East Side for four or so years. Tonight visited the Huntsville ON location for the first time. We an excellent experience, quality hot tasty food, a cold beer, solid service (Cassie did a great job) and of course the salad & bread. We will be back very soon.

Great service by the server as always. But I have to say there was only one server on for the whole place with 2 management standing up the whole time and not giving one minute of there help. Never even bussed a table. I mean its ridiculous they should be ashamed to even stand there like that and let customers see someone work so hard and no help. Useless management but awesome service. Play the game and help your team out. I only gave the a 5 rating because the server worked so hard.

We struggled in a booth barely large enough for the table, let alone two adults. Although the veal limone was nice, it was a struggle to eat in this cramped position. The vegetables were, from what I could tell, were defrosted frozen vegetables, left to thaw out through the day, then microwaved. Completely inedible. On the positive side, there was no music to drown out the conversation.

Had nice evening last Christmas with my friend and its really good pasta main course, with bread and salads being really good. Soups on the other hand were not that great. Other wise wouldve given 5 stars.

I noticed that other staff in the background were also watching to make sure everything was going well. This restaurant is one of our favorite spots to go to for dinner in Huntsville.

Good experience for a mass Restaurant. Food quality was okay... not great but okay. Service was good albeit the server was busy with many tables and the style of dining SHOULD have more attention than was possible (unlimited items like bread and salad, and bottomless drinks are not really so if you cant get refills for long periods). In the end... food was acceptable as expected, left full... and party of 5 (2 kids) for under $120.

We eat here everytime we come to St. John s, and we haven t been there in a while and I was so excited, our server barley paid attention to us, I was listening to her talking to other tables and treating them way better then us, I m a sever myself and you do not treat one table different from the other. My daughter waited till the end for a water, never checked on once. The meal was great though but we were very upset over the service because it s always amazing there

This restaurant is definitely a good place to come with family or for a fun date night. The atmosphere is great, its cozy but doesnt feel crammed. The staff are friendly and attentive. The food is good too. The all you can eat salad is definitely worth getting more than one bowl, its delicious. The pizzas are surprisingly good as well. The thin crust is far and away the best crust though. Definitely give this place a try if youre looking for a good meal that really fills you up.

Parking: I absolutely loved the bow tie noodles but the color changing lemonade barely changed color just a Teensy bit and it wasnt very sour overall I give it three stars. Food

East side Marios Huntsville Ontario. This is our 3rd time here. Food is always great. Service can be a bit slow, but that bring said every time weve been here its been super busy and the servers dont stop. You just have to be understanding at this point. Price point you really cant do much better for a restaurant. You still get unlimited soup/salad and bread; thats unheard of these days. Most places charge you extra for Caesar Salad as a side now!

Perfect Bread!

Myself and my partner went for the Thursday special, overall we would not come back. The food was very average, and the chicken parm my partner ordered was not good whatsoever. The server was nice, however we didn t get the same interaction that other servers were giving to other tables around us. We were never checked on, unless it was to just bring out more food. I do not blame our server however, because we noticed that they were also the bartender and serving the full bar. Maybe they were understaffed? I just don t think it was fair to him to have so many customers to manage.

Our server brought my partners (dine-in) meal to him in a cardboard takeout container. He said I dont know why the kitchen put your food in a box, but I guess that will work, and left. Apparently taking a sandwich out of a box and putting it onto a damn plate was just too much for him. Then we sat with empty drinks in front of us for 15 minutes, as the one of only two tables in the bar. Our server finally wandered back over and proceeded to ask us if we wanted a takeout box for the leftovers????? This was so absurd it was almost comical. But not quite. Weirdest and worst service Ive ever had by a longshot.

I have to say that the food was good, other than the potato soup being watered down significantly, so that it didnt taste the same. It was much better the first time I had it, only two weeks prior.

Ordered online, three different times, and received a message that I had to call the restaurant. Call the restaurant to order and they declined my credit card again. I called my credit card company and was told that it wasn t my card that it was the merchants machine. I called back the store with another card to place the order and then was told that part of my order was now not available so after 45 minutes trying to get my order, decided to order from Boston Pizza instead Not the greatest service.

I had the sausage and peppers penne and it was delicious. For dessert I had the triple chocolate mousse cake. It was amazing. The staff was very friendly and the service was quite efficient. I would highly suggest trying if you have not done so already!

The server was top notch, and we all agreed the food was good, including one who is not a fan of pasta. The only negatives were the loud patrons on either side of us - not really sure why folks play videos on bust at a restaurant while theyre eating.
