We had the loveliest evening. Anniversary dinner for us. Absolutely incredible service from Danielle. Perfectly attentive, without being intrusive. Great food! Those potatoes tho!! Yum. Great atmosphere.
Early-ish dinner. Arrived 20 minutes early for reservation but were seated right away service was nice. Fairly quick service, but the young man was unsure of what stock was behind the bar. Appetizers came out fast. Maple Glazed Pork Belly was very good. Large portion. Halloumi Caprese was flavourful but the tomatoes were anemic and a little tasteless. Still pretty good. Mains came out in good time. Braised Short Ribs were a large portion with nice flavour, but beef was dry. Undercooked, overcooked or just left to sit out of braise too long? Who knows? Blackened Arctic Char was a little too salty and overcooked. Missing the nice oiliness of char. Just too dry. Our table also got forgotten when a table of 12+ arrived. Had to ask manager for dessert menu and waiting quite some time to have our table cleared or get the bill
Foods are good. I ordered a skillet for breakfast, and it tasted good, but it was more potatoes only with some little pices of sausage and bacon. a bit overpriced for breakfast if you consider what you get (quality and quantity). 4 star only for friendly staff.
This restaurant, located inside of the Jag Hotel has some of the coolest vibes of any restaurant I've been to. All (I think) hotel stays come with a free breakfast. I don't have a big appetite in the morning, so I just asked for toast and fruit. The staff are extremely friendly. I also had dinner here another time. Had the Brussel Sprouts, which were amazing and a mocktail. I forgot to take a photo. I recommend trying this place out whether or not you're staying at the Jag.
First time at this restaurant. I can't understand why I haven't come here earlier! The staff are very friendly and professional. The menu selection is broad enough to suit most palates. My wife had the Jag omelette and it was very well put together and more than she could eat! I had the fishcake and beans with homemade mustard pickles and partridge berry jam; absolutely fantastic! The vibe is very relaxed and funky, and the music selection was spot on! Only one minor complaint would be to improve the taste of the hash browns; the texture is spot on but they have a "cooked yesterday evening" kinda taste. Definitely worth a visit! 👍👍
This restaurant isn't one I'd normally choose personally, but had to go here for a work assignment... Tried to get a table for on Thursday night, and the hostess was so indifferent to her job it was a major negative factor. At least 7 people waited and walked away from the hostess podium out of frustration for waiting so long. When she finally showed up and I asked for a table for one, she told me I needed a reservation - fine - so reserved for tonight. Tonight (Friday) the experience and service was excellent. The waitress was very sincere, hard working. Great cocktail and mocktail selection. Unique appetizers. Main dish (Cod) lacked a good presentation, although was well prepared. Dessert was good but very dissapointed when the whipped cream turned out to be artificial...such a waste of an otherwise excellent trifle. This small detail makes a massive difference. Overall, this restaurant is likely over rated due to the location inside the Jag Hotel and skimping on quality because the location allows. From appetizers to dessert the quality drops - common in restaurants where location or theme is a primary appeal and the assumption is you'll consume lots of alcohol throughout your meal.
We arrived on time and were seated in a corner table as requested. Our service was good overall. The coffee is very good. My wife’s tea, however, was tepid. Our classic breakfasts seemed to take longer than they should have, given the low number of patrons in the dining room. Once our breakfasts arrived, we had both received meals which were barely warm overall, eggs were tasty, bacon, sausage and home fries barely warm. Our toast was barely warm and covered with globs of unmelted butter/margarine which had to be scraped off. At least the freshly prepared strawberry jam was tasty. All in all, I’d give this breakfast experience at Exile, a 7/10 for taste, 3/10 for temperature and a 8/10 for service.
My son and daughter-in-law took me to dinner here for my birthday. It was the first time for all of us. We had gone on the recommendation of a friend. The owner is a big music fan, as one can tell from the extensive collection of pictures hung both in the restaurant and hotel lobby. He believes music should be heard. The soundtrack was definitely audible but not so loud as to interfere with conversation The restaurant has a pleasant interior with comfortable seats. The menu was interesting and the food was very good. I plan on returning and would recommend it to any of my friends.
I was at Exile back in August. I had the seafood spaghetti. It was worth driving across the country to have again.
Very nice brunch, excellent service with great food and local Recommendations.
Spent the night here at breakfast in the restaurant. Your basic breakfast fair at reasonable prices
Love this place! - but please adjust your air-conditioning system! Were were there on August 19th and all 8 of us spent our time absolutely sweating from the heat! We asked to have the air-conditioning unit adjusted but were told it couldnt be changed. Aside from that, the food and drinks were great!
I walked here to grab a bite on my last night in St. Johns. Its inside a hotel. I didnt have a reservation so I sat at the bar. I had the moose burger, onion rings, and an IPA. The moose burger was good. It was my first time tasting moose and I was pleasantly surprised. The onion rings were to die for! I ordered them without bacon toppings. Whatever they drizzled all over them really stood out. They were probably the best onion rings Ive ever had. The beer was good as well. The server behind the bar was very sweet and efficient. Ill visit again the next time Im in St. Johns.
We have been going to the Jag/Exile for mini staycations, anniversaries and birthday celebrations. This latest visit was exceptional! I enjoyed the duck dinner, my wife raved about the lamb shank. Everyone from the doormen to the dining room staff were very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. You will not be disappointed with your experience at the Jag or Exile!
Most of my party of 5 enjoyed their meals. The waitress was very attentive and accommodating, especially to the special dietary needs and the birthday cake. That said, my meal of Ramen was terrible, a solid mass of cold noodles, no broth, no flavour and garnished with a mishmash of picked carrots and can corn. I was quite disappointed. Why are there so few veggie options in a day and age where there is a need to decrease meat consumption. Vegetarian options: Very limited vegan options which is why I chose the Ramen which turned out to be a poor quality meal. Definitely a need for more veggie options.
Sent back mussels to the kitchen, saltier than the sea itself. Kitchen and staff proceeded to imply that we were just trying to get a free meal, literally counting the remaining mussels in the bowl to prove to the staff that this was inedible. Taking the meal off the bill was the least they could do, and even that was a fight.
Fun place, we were there for Brunch, that Banana bread french toast was amazing!
Amazing restaurant, definitely left witb a great impression. The atmosphere is ironic Love the ambiance. Our server was truly professional and expecptional customer service we had reviewed the menu prior to visiting so we had an idea of what we wanted to order, our server explained in details the daily specials and recommendations exactly what we ordered. We were not disappointed so much flavor, we had the Artic Char, and Seafood spaghetti delicious highly recommended both. Definitely add to a list of restaurants if you are in St Johns Nfld.
In the Jag hotel. Walk in and youre transported back to the glory days of rock and roll. Beautiful room, super friendly staff and the food is awesome
Me and my wifes favorite place for dinner
Food is always amazing, staff is super friendly. Prices are very reasonable for what your getting.
Had breakfast it was very good..
I m visiting from Toronto and came by this restaurant for breakfast with my husband. We enjoyed a delicious eggs benedict, with all fresh ingredients. Service was quick and our waiter was helpful with altering our menu choices with our dietary restrictions. 5 star service and food! thank you for an excellent meal! Dietary restrictions: dairy free and gluten free options.
The food and the staff are amazing and very friendly. They were also very accommodating.
Paid $15 for granola with yogurt and fresh fruit and it was like a kids size portion. Just because Im ordering a healthy breakfast doesnt mean that Im not hungry! The cantaloupe didnt taste fresh either
Best brunch in St. Johns. Original decor and great service.
The food was unbelievably delicious - the best Mac & cheese I ve ever had in my life. The seats were so comfy as well. I would highly recommend this place to anyone. Vegetarian options: Their menu very clearly labels all vegetarian options. Dietary restrictions: Their menu very clearly labels different allergies.
Wonderful experience. The service was great. The cocktails were fun and tasty. The apps and mains were great. The pork belly was lovely. The Jag burger and moose burger were well balanced in flavour. Only 4 stars because I had the worst creme brulee I have ever eaten. I love creme brulee but the peach creme brulee special was terrible. So dont get the creme brulee but try everything else. Dietary restrictions: They take dietary restrictions very seriously.
Good atmosphere. Lots of delicious dishes, all of which were high quality and well prepared. Some genuine surprises (the Ramen with pork belly was amazing). Good selection of cocktails, but could use some more beers (especially local craft beers).
The food was very overcooked. Would not order the fish and chips again.
Really good breakfast!
I checked into the Jag hotel and had the occasion to have brunch and dinner. The atmosphere and service are very good but the food is bland. I had the moose masala and it was dry, the moose was on the tough side and it lacked seasoning. For dinner I had the arancini and the braised lamb shank. The arancini was the best part. It was crispy and the cheese was melted but it lacked seasoning. The lamb shank and mashed potatoes were very disappointing. The lamp was tender but was completely flavorless and the mashed potatoes seemed watery instead of creamy. At $44 dollars, I feel a bit ripped off. Come for the music and decor, not the food.
Eccellent music selection, magic atmosphere with confortable chairs and tables. Local beer Is only ok, food taste Is variable depends on dishes of tour choice.
Table of 4! Brunch was great, I really enjoy how the atmosphere isn t rushy, the atmosphere, server allows you to enjoy the experience unlike other places that feels like your rushed to order and get out soon as you sit.
Excellent place for a fancy drink & or meal. Food is specular!!! Romantic, fun, yummy!
Loved my experience at this restaurant! Loved the decor and the supper comfy chairs! Their drinks options are all very delicious! The food was also very good and a lot of options to choose from. Would definitely go again when Im back in the city. Food : 4/5
Amazing little restaurant. Fresh food and good prices. Nice drink menu as well. And our server was super nice and helpful
Excellent food, atmosphere. Highly recommend.
Good food . Wonderful service with attention to detail. Will definitely go there again. Their customer service, especially Hannah and Sky are just amazing. Good variety of drinks to choose from well. Food : 5/5
Great atmosphere, food was delicious and the beers were cold.
Had the moose pappardelle. Very nice, not too gamey, a large portion. That with a Bubble Stash IPA. The JAG hotel is a fun place with lots of rock memorabilia.
Great place for breakfast or Dinner.
A three dressed up as a nine.
Overall great experience. I do recommend resos for breakfast as thats their busiest time.
Breakfast and service was great, and it wasnt too expensive either.
This is the bar in The Jag hotel. Very nice lounge, nice atmosphere. We had cod tongues for the first time.
Solid food. Great music history vibes. Cool waitresses.
Great atmosphere! Very stylized, yet welcoming and comfortable. Had the pulled pork mac and cheese; it was delicious and certainly a generous portion. The cocktails are unique, fresh and worth it to try something new.
Not the first time I ve eaten at Exile and certainly won t be my last ! The food was great, the atmosphere was upbeat and classy and our server, Holly, went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect! Great experience!
This was one of the best restaurants I went to while back home visiting. Great friendly service and very cool ambiance. Highly recommend!
Beautiful place and delicious food
We were looking for a new spot to have breakfast. Had never been to Exile so we decided to try it out. We didnt have a reservation but they accommodated us. The whole experience was exceptional. Loved it.
Just stopped by for a quick pot of tea before my flight, the server was friendly and gave our table complimentary chocolate.
Great spot, excellent burgers and onion rings.
Great atmosphere. Good oatmeal.
Beautiful atmosphere. Good service. Great music. A solid and simple menu.
The atmosphere is nice, but that s the only nice thing about this place. Treated my family to dinner here and we were all disappointed. None of our meals were good, and it certainly did not justify the price. The chicken special was dry, bland, no taste. My mother-in-law had the chicken Parmesan and it was burnt, she couldn t eat it. What s even more disappointing is the service. My mother-in-law mentioned that she couldn t eat the food because it was burnt. She didn t ask for anything else or ask to be compensated for it. The server s instant response was well that s why we come around and ask how the food is . My mother-in-law hadn t tried the food when she came around initially because she was holding a baby. The server said she would talk to her supervisor, and she came back with a free dessert, which was also terrible. Each meal was $40+ each. There was no apology from the server, she was more annoyed than anything. The whole experience was disappointing and not worth the energy to dispute. Clearly nothing good could be produced from this place. I will never return here again. You couldn t pay me to eat the food.
We were so excited to dine here as there were so many great reviews for this restaurant. The dining room was very fun and trendy. That is where the positive experience ended. We were dining as a group of 4 and I had my infant son in his stroller - our hostess was almost appalled that we had a baby with us and told us minors had to be out by 8:30 pm (which gave us well over an hour to dine) Our meals arrived all of which were lacking flavor. Two of us ordered the chicken special, which was very bland. One member of our group ordered the chicken parm which was actually burnt. Our waitress came around once to check on the table after our meals were delivered not giving us much chance to actually try our meals yet. At the end of our dining when we asked for our bill we mentioned that the chicken parm was inedible as it was burnt - the waitress seemed more annoyed than apologetic. We werent looking for handouts, rather, wanted to point out the meal was not enjoyable. We were then informed by our waitress that there was not much she could do as we had the opportunity to complain when she came around initially. After speaking to her supervisor we were, however, offered a dessert on the house. All in all it was a very disappointing experience. We will not be returning, nor will we be recommending this restaurant to family or friends.
Food was ok but the service was awful..we tried once for a drink in the evening and were basically ignored or 10 minutes or more, meanwhile the place was quite empty and the staff were literally walking right pass us, then we tried for breakfast and it was basically a repeat..too many other great eateries nearby to waste your precious time here. Hotel staff were wonderful..wouldnt want to make it seem like the whole hotel..just the Exile restaraunt was... 2 thumbs down
If Chelsea is looking after you, you wont have a better time anywhere else! They have music playing in the background, its loud enough to enjoy, the selection is great, the sound is great, and you can also have a conversation with whomever your out with. Food
Came for dinner the other night, and had to come back for lunch. Really great music & sound system, excellent service and delicious food. Highly recommend.
Would have loved some broader menu options, but overall an amazing experience! The valet parking made all the difference in terms of accessibility!!! Wheelchair accessibility: Very accessible.
Delicious food, fantastic service, fun atmosphere! Couldn t ask for more! Morgan was very friendly and attentive with our friend group patiently waiting for us to catch up before we ordered. Never felt rushed to finish.
Expensive but nice
Went here last night after a long day of traveling. The server was so kind, attentive, and professional, and the special (a pesto salmon with butternut squash risotto) was arguably the best I ve had. As a BC gal, that s saying a lot!! Will definitely come back! Also, the music selection was impeccable.
Amazing beef chilli and good ambience!
I have eaten here close to a dozen times and have had nothing to complain about. I find the food to be consistent and good within the price point. The service is generally on point and the staff are seemly friendly and attentive. They do refresh their menu from time to time with the Jag burger being one of their staples, cooked to order btw as I understand they ground the meat in-house. I do hope the cod tongues that they use to have make an appearance again because they were some of the best in the city. Great place for breakfast lunch and Supper.
Service was amazing, great covid protocols and spacing. Food was well presented and delicious. Well worth the cost.
Great food. Excellent service and ambiance.
Great food and a wonderful environment. Love the rock theme.
Maybe they were having an off night? The food was well presented but wasn t good at all. $43 for a very rare duck breast that was too chewy to eat. Rainbow trout that was okay but spoiled by a golf ball sized glob of overpowering olive tapenade. And then the coconut tartlets for dessert which were stale and awful - the waitress later told us they were store bought - I assume defrosted from Sobeys. Very disappointed.
Brunch might have been the worst brunch Ive had in st.johns which is very surprising as I have had supper there twice and it was lovely.
It is always good to be back in St. Johns. This is a nice spot. Clean and quiet. Good menu, polite service and the food was good value. I had the seafood platter. It was very good.
Meals have been very good - lunch and dinner so is the service. The atmosphere is fabulous! And the music fantastic!
Fish dinner was very delicious and environment was very soothing. The drink was also very good. Enjoyed the time there.
Delicious and comfortable. I stopped in for breakfast and didn t regret my choice. The music is perfect and well-balanced for the space. Great service, good coffee, and my banana bread French toast was delicious.
Great food, great atmosphere
Had the roasted Cod. Very nicely cooked. Was served on potatoes w a salad greens on top.
We ordered three different kind of sea food, all tastes good, the fish are really fresh and tasty.
Loved the food and atmosphere
Breakfast was great they seasoned there food perfectly, fruit bowl had variety. Atmosphere was nice. Pictures of old rockers on the wall were a cool touch ! Me and my boyfriend ate.
Great atmosphere! Had brunch with friends, lots of options!
Tasty scallop and fish, and friendly & attentive service. There s a different menu for lunch and dinner so I suggest checking before coming as the menu is small (when I came there were no main vegetarian dishes). The appys were the show stopper - scallop and crab cake were delicious and fresh! We also had the trout and cod which were both cooked and seasoned very well!
After waiting for more than 20 minutes we were finally asked what we wanted to drink. My boyfriends appetizer came after like 40 minutes, for mine i had to ask first. When i got it, it was just handworm as if it was forgotten in the kitchen and wormed up in the microwave. The main course took one hour and a half which is really too long and it didnt really taste good at all because it would have needed far more spices since it tasted quite like nothing.
Outstanding brunch! All three of us loved our choices. I had the Moose Masala with the best rice ( it was perfectly cooked) I have ever eaten. Even the good old fish cakes and eggs Benny got two thumbs up from my friends. Worth a second visit. Second visit happened several months later for dinner. It was a special event and I highly recommended Exile. It was a culinary disaster. Everything appeared microwaved, presentation was non existent, sloppy bland food. It wasn t even piping hot. Certainly the B team was on that night.
Quality food, very fresh. Excellent service and great vibes.
Appetizer (orange pork and onion soup)were good but the meal was disgusting even when I tried another appetizer same thing. Puréed parsnip with the tasteless duck breast tasted just like the puréed carrots and all left an oily film in my mouth that even after twice brushing my teeth and gargling mouth wash I still taste. Ragoo sauce doesn t work for the lamb shanks either. You used to be great but have now failed me the last three times. Shame
Breakfast was good. Waitress was friendly. Not a fan of the potatoes
Visiting St Johns with a friend who has a very strict diet due to sulphite allergies. This was one of the only places that could cater to her diet without exception or worry. Waitresses were very kind and service was fast!
Vegetarian options: Menu was V friendly, with several options s Dietary restrictions: Menu was varied and staff interested Wheelchair accessibility: Yes, from street through lo y and I to Exile restaurant
I book a reservation that included 9 family members as my guests. I was anticipating a very relaxing and enjoyable evening. Upon arrival, I immediately got a bad vibe. It just wasn t the reception that I normally receive based on the price point. (thought price point shouldn t matter) Our server arrived, without introduction. She proceeded to take our drink order and after a few corrections, we addressed the menu. After the appetizer s I requested 2 bottles of Amarone and ask for them to be decanted. When the wine arrived, much to my surprise, it was already decanted. I ve never experienced that before. Part of the experience is to present the wine, open it at the table, allow the ordering guest to taste before .I m not suggesting they didn t serve the correct wine but the process was incorrect. As the meals started to arrive, a number of people had the Beef Tenderloin and chose French fries as a side. The fries were so hard, overcooked, they literally cracked like toothpick s. We had to send them back. I just can t believe that the kitchen staff would ever send them out in the 1st place. It wasn t the experience I was expecting nor deserved I paid the bill and did not express my disappointment. I didn t want to expose my guests to my frustration. I did leave the server a 30% tip. Also the air conditioning did not appear to be operational. Respectfully, I think my expectations were reasonable.
Fish cake was delicious. The service was amazing as well.
The waitress was very helpful, however the food came out dead cold. Mashed potatoes that wouldnt melt butter gravy that was greasy. And the sausage over the potatoes were barely warm. Somebody in the kitchen does not care what they send out
Great hotel very excuesive music oriented fabulous service
Great place and great food. The second time Ive had the Jag burger. So freaking delicious!! You can have the patty, however you want it cooked. Medium is the best!! So juicy!! Cheese and a thick slice of bacon to finish it off. The artisan style bun kept it all in place as it soaked up the juices. I got to try something else on the menu as it all looks really good. Moose Donair is one on my list to try next.
Food was good.
I think this place bases the quality of each customers plate on how much they wish to see that customer back into their establishment. It all starts at the door, you are being selected from the moment you arrive. Nice car? Nice clothes? youll be looked after. Not so much of those things? You wont be going back for seconds.
Nice place for breakfast. Will come back and stay at the hotel!
Went there for dinner and a good drink. Great service, great food, great ambiance!
Skye was our amazing server and made our night!
Music was very loud at breakfast hour
Best classic breakfast in town. Get the moose sausage
Great atmosphere, good service. Had great meal however the jag burger was more like a meat loaf burger, needs improvement.
Atmosphere is cool, staff is friendly, and food is delicious!
Had to ask to get music turned down so we could engage in conversation. This brunch/lunch time isnt advertised as Pub and Eatery or Sports Bar so why have to ask to have ask to get volume lowered?
Delicious!!!
I live this place! Lots of pictures and art work of musicians of manu genres. Excellent good by a great chef!
Excellent food and staff! We always eat here when we stay at JAG
Had the fish and chips. Tasted great, nice portion size for the price. Dining room was a cool atmosphere perfect for my business lunch/meeting.
Music is fantastic. Food is fantastic. Great atmosphere. IPA wasnt pouring but these things happen. 5 stars overall.
Excellent brunch, great service, good prices.
Food is good the long is cufy
Love the food and service but especially love the decor!!
Great food!Reasonable prices.
Of you dont like Jag/Exile ... its you. #Steller
Great food, great service, great atmosphere. Try the moose donair!!
Yummy eggs Benny and omelets!
Excellent food, atmosphere, & music
It was lovely - great food, memorable music from years gone bye and fabulous decor.
Bar was AWESOME! Bartenders so friendly and fun to chat with!
Food was delicious, service was fabulous, ambiance is nice and the prices are very reasonable.
Enjoyed the atmosphere in this restaurant - classy, but relaxed. Good food and friendly service.
Great service, food is amazing as always!
Wonderful dinner! The cod is delicious!
Great atmosphere, great food at a price that blows away most of downtown, and wonderful service that makes you feel like you have had a completely relaxing experience.
Welcoming atmosphere. Friendly, knowledgement staff with lots of hospitality. High end cuisine full of flavour and cooked perfectly. We enjoyed the beef sirloin and stuffed kitchen entrees. Starter greens were extremely flavourful and well balanced. A must restaurant for all Newfoundlanders and visitors.
Very good breakfast. More than reasonable prices. Great friendly service.
Great food and awesome wait srevice!! Will go back for sure!!
Very comfortable and friendly service. Went for breakfast and had bacon and eggs with hashbrowns. Good size portions but could of had more hashbrowns. But all was great quality and tasty.
Pretty meh for breakfast. Photos look really cool but it s not great food
Had the eggs+sausage+bacon+toast breakfast that was included in our hotel room package. Was quick and fulfilling.
Good restaurant no options for dietary restrictions
Brunch was just ordinary. Nothing special. Side dishes were actually better (baked beans, fish cake, fruit salad). Unpleasant staff. Waitress couldnt find our booking. Had to show confirmation received on my phone. Made mistake on one order, and forgot one side dish. No smile, no apologies, no please, thank you, no small chat. Not impressive. Place was not overly busy...
Great breakfast.
Great food and staff
Fancy drinks in a rock and roll themed hotel at the Jag hotel. Reasonably priced.
The brunch is one of the best in St. Johns!
Best Ive ever had. Halibut. Beef filet. Even the rice pilaf was remarkable. Music and ambience perfect. Good to have this in my town. Thanks.
Food was absolutely delicious. I had smoked salmon pasta and my husband had the lamb shank. Flavours and textures were so good challenges any meal that we have had at any other restaurant including cruise cuisine. Atmosphere was fun and comfortable. Sky our waitress was was engaging and providing great service. Pictures dont do it justice
Nice
Lovely atmosphere with excellent personable service, a hidden gem.
The food was excellent and the service friendly. We went on a Sunday evening and we were a bit surprised by the limited menu, but really enjoyed what we had.
Great food! The moose masala was really good, tender meat and the grilled naan bread was really interesting as well, we ate as a large group and it was a little slow but I dont think it would be an issue with a smaller group. Service was great and keep the drinks topped up. All around great place too eat.
I was excited to try this place and I can honestly say I havent been as disappointed in a dining experience in a while. I went for brunch and ordered the omlette, my friend getting the same. We were chatting and realized it had been 45 minutes...then it was a hour...at that point we said if it was another ten minutes we would just pay for our drinks and go somewhere else. Finally they brought out our food and it didnt look great. The omlette was dry and lukewarm, and was served with about half a potatoes worth of hash browns which were over salted and cold. We should have complained but at that point we just ate our food and left. For almost 50 dollars plus tip it was a tough pill so swallow for so little food and such a long wait. I definitely wont be back.
2 stars because this is probably isolated, but, been waiting 1:15 for food with no end in sight. Was told after 20-30 that there were no burger buns but they were en route, then told again later that that they werent. Total waste of time, but again, hopefully an isolated incident. Try the cocktails!
Great service and great food
Great food, great atmosphere, and youll be well looked after.
Excellent food and service
Delicious!!!
Professional service, good food, we felt safe there with staff doing all covid 19 protocols. the restaurant was very clean. They could add a few more items to the.brunch menu including steak and eggs, and garnish the breakfast plates with fruit. Just a suggestion, as it was very good.
Great food, excellent service, cool surroundings, nice background music
beautiful , clean , service was great
One of my favorite places to eat in st johns!!!!!! Highly recommend anyone to eat here if they get the chance
We decided to go here for our anniversary and take another couple with us, We were never so disappointed before as we were The french onion soup was very salty, the salmon was dried out and the asparagus was way over cooked, that was my food, my husband had lamb that was overcooked and the garlic mashed were not fresh at all, my sisters pasta had no flavor what so ever, sad to say the least! $300 of our hard earned money gone down the drain, I would not recommend this restaurant for anyone!
I would like more options but its understandable when you think of the size of the restaurant. Overall all vibe is awesome.
Love this place!! Deadly cocktails, atmosphere and service!
Nice clean spot. Drinks are seriously overpriced but food is amazing.
Great vibe and food.
Food was great the service was lacking
Good location, great food , excellent staff
The food here is just a cut above. Quality ingredients, well prepared, with knowledgeable staff and a unique ambiance.
Delicious food, amazing service, great Covid protocols.
Excellent service and food. Great COVID precautions made dining in comfortable and a great treat. Beef tenderloin steak was perfect. All servers great! Kristin especially hospitable and engaging. Great room service for JAG hotel too.
Had the beef tenderloin, asparagus was a little small, would recommend the fritz over the wedges, beef was cooked perfect. Fried Korean broccoli wings are amazing. Strawberry bread pudding was delicious.
Great food and drink, very nicely designed interior.
No matter if you go for breakfast or supper .. the chef do not disappoint you... the feel of the restaurant is wonderful...
