MEXICANA KITCHEN in St. John's

ordered the burrito bowl - it was amazing, and I highly recommend it to anyone who asks. a friend got the tacos and they also looked fantastic. very good food and the service was fast.

Ordered a chicken bowl from Mexicana Restaurant, it was delicious!! The container was full and was full of flavour. Will 100% be there again. Can’t wait to try their other food items!!

Oh my goodness what a disappointment. I know new businesses should be given support but this is about as authentic Mexican as I am authentic royalty. We saw from their website that it's Mexican food but when we pulled up and saw Mediterranean dishes we should have left. But, I decided sure let's give it a try. The salsa is from a jar. The veggies, while fresh, were tasteless and bland. I had tacos and thankfully there was some salsa in them because the heat from that at least did give it some flavour. Tasteless, bland, packaged. If that's what you like for your Mexican food then you've hit the jackpot. If you love authentic Mexican food (I lived in Mexico for 6 years) then don't come here...run away from here as fast as you can. Someone said the ambience was fantastic. It's as bland as the food. I'm not posting this to be mean. It's my honest assessment. If I could give zero stars for it I would.

We had the pleasure of enjoying Mexican cuisine today, and it was absolutely delicious! The flavors were vibrant, the dishes were well-prepared, and everything tasted fresh and authentic. The ambiance complemented the meal perfectly, and the service was excellent. It was a memorable dining experience, and I highly recommend it to anyone craving great Mexican food. We'll definitely be back for more!
