Just what I was looking for! A nice place to relax by a lake. The room was small but cozy. The lake is perfect; water is clean and safe. Used the kayaks. Breakfast was very tasty. Too bad they do not offer dinner. Host very welcoming.

My friend and I stayed here for one evening on our way to PEI. We arrived late but check-in was pleasantly convenient. The room was beautiful and unique and very clean. We met the owner in the morning, who was there early making breakfast for his guests. He informed us that we could take the kayak out on the water and relax on the dock. The views are gorgeous and the overall experience incredible. Breakfast was delicious and the owner so genuinely kind. A definite recommendation for anyone who appreciates unique hospitality and the outdoors!
As I travel for business often and end up mostly in chain hotel, it was nice to find this truly home style alternative.||The owners, that moved to Canada many years ago run this place, which is known locally for their dinner as well.||Each room is really nicely decorated and despite the age of this rustic inn, all room amenities are up to date and modern, from bathroom, flat screen TVs, WiFi, etc.||Amenities include access to it's own private beach, dock, kayaks and padel boats. All with Adirondack chairs making that area a nice quiet relax and reading area.||Many indoor and outdoor sitting areas, including a lake facing one with a hot tub.||A definite "must go back" inn.
Do not miss this Jewel. Two talented hosts provided extra special breakfasts and out of this world dinners. Beautiful lake to play in with other activities nearby. Quebec City close by. Paddle boat and kyaks available. Bring your bikes.
This was our second stay at the chalet, which is located just down the hill from the Manoir. I have to say that this place has to be one of the best-kept secrets in Canada! The chalet is well equipped, has a private dock and all the water toys for your pleasure - kayaks, a canoe, pedalo, and an outdoor hot tub. It's very private and the little garden beside the chalet has a table, chairs and a wood fireplace. The lake has a lot of cottages on it but the neighbours (and their boats) were respectful of one's privacy and relative 'boat' size when passing on the lake. Not far from St-Raymond is a 65 km bicycle path - that used to be an old railway line. The incline is gentle, the scenery is just wonderful, there are rest stops with picnic tables, it is patrolled and most amazing is that over the week, I did not see one piece of garbage! I haven't stopped telling all my friends, since I've been home, what a great place this is! You can guess it; we will go back.
I didn't have huge expectations, I was on a bicycle trip and this was going to be my base. I was blown away!! The auberge is pristine, attention to detail, clean. The lake is beautiful, I swam every day and took the canoe out once. ||You must come here: bring your bike and discover the Corridor des Cheminots (head towards Rivière a Pierre).
Pretty manor well located on the edge of the lake. Our room was small, but everything needed was there. The view of the lake was superb. The room was, however, very poorly soundproofed, we could hear the discussions of our roommates. The owner is very nice and gives excellent service. Beautiful dining room with full breakfast, perfect for starting a big day of activities.

Guillaume is adorable and really attentive and gives good advice for places to visit! The breakfast is plentiful and delicious. I highly recommend if you are looking for something authentic! Inn offering 6 rooms, breakfast, outdoor facilities (summer) and above all a welcome and impeccable service from the owner Guillaume. In winter, dinner will also be offered to you; succulent, tasty, careful presentation and perfect portions. I recommend the experience.

We stopped for one night at the Manoir du Lac des Sept-Iles. On vacation in Montreal, we decided to also discover Quebec and its surroundings. The place is superb, authentic, warm. The owner is really very friendly and we were made to feel very welcome. Breakfast is just magical! Stop at this magical place on the edge of a splendid lake! You will not be disappointed! Thanks again to Guillaume for his kindness, his welcome and his generosity .

The place is simply perfect. The welcome is simple and warm. The room was clean and spotless. The young people are impressive. Delicious. There is a large balcony/terrace behind with several benches and chairs. We have a magnificent view of the lake. We have access to a beautiful spa on the terrace and kayaks are available to us free of charge. We have access to a small beach. We sat on the dock with chairs and relaxed. Guillaume is a very attentive host while remaining discreet to respect our guest. I recommend it to you without hesitation. I will always return there for my stay in the Vallée Bras du Nord. It is 5 minutes from the town of St-Raymond with restaurants and about 30 minutes from the Valley with all its activities. Its perfect.

This is the third time I ve been there and it s always magnificent! The view of the lake is wonderful, plus there is the jacuzzi and the lunch is super good too! The whole manor is super warm, you feel comfortable from the start. I highly recommend it and I will definitely come back!

Magnificent place! Absolutely magical. My 5 year old daughter flat out told me that it s a distinguished place ! Guillaume is as caring and attentive as he is discreet. The view is sublime, the private beach is sublime. We were delighted with our experience. I recommend it as much for a romantic getaway as for a small family stay. Thank you for the great experience.

We simply loved our stay at the mansion!! Our suite was very pretty and very clean!! Perfect with a baby playpen! We were very well received by Guillaume!! Very good host... super friendly!! Oh and her lunches are delicious!! The mansion is really beautiful... and what can we say about the view!! Wow!! Very relaxing and beautiful with the beautiful fall colors!!

We only spent one night there, but we are definitely going back! The Manor is ideally located, not complicated to find. The places are super beautiful, welcoming, soothing. The room was impeccable (apart from the lack of pressure in the shower). We had a small room but for 1 night no worries. Lake view! wow! Breakfast: EXCELLENT, and such conviviality :) Only regret: not being able to taste the evening menu. That will be for next time ;). Thank you Guillaume for this beautiful haven of peace and for your human warmth!
This establishment with a very family atmosphere is run by Guillaume whose welcome, his advice, his enthusiasm for the place and especially THE BREAKFAST! The decor of the rooms is original and neat, that of the common rooms is charming. I recommend!

A tumultuous start to communicate what was really planned on site, including a broken pedal boat and absence of dining equipment outside, but the spa, the kayaks and the chalet enhanced the rustic, but appreciable, experience. Guillaume went to get a folding table and a few chairs too. THANKS!
I loved my experience at Lac Sept-Iles, the manor is very welcoming and warm. The host, really generous and available for these customers. The room is spacious, well furnished, comfortable and has a chalet atmosphere that I really liked. I will come back next year without fail!

Nowadays, it is rather rare to be greeted in such a friendly manner, there is really nothing to complain about. The welcome, the food (important to reserve in advance for dinner), the site, with a breathtaking view of the lake and the very careful decoration. If possible, opt for a small suite or a room on the lake side. We will definitely return and we recommend this address without reservation. A special thank you to Guillaume for his continued good humor.
