I always enjoy my time here. The waitresses are always welcoming and pleasant, food is great the chefs/cooks does an amazing job ty.

Prices up. Quality down. Used to be one of our favourite spots in town. Not sure if there s a new chef, or if it was a bad night, but something changed for the worse. Specifically, we had the chicken fajitas and very berry salad. Both came with dry, shredded chicken, instead of the usual grilled chicken.

Thre food was absolutely amazing there was 4 of us went myself my 2 brothers and our dad for the 4 of us the price was great

Went as a large group, food was decent. The waitress we had was great. All of the waitresses seemed happy to be there when they came out to help...... except one. She looked miserable.

Drove out of town to Roadhouse for dinner. Service was good, but unfortunately most of the food was mediocre. There was no flavour to the beef for our nachos - no taco seasoning or heat, very little beef and cheese overall for the price. Was left with a bunch of chips that were plain because there wasn t enough toppings to cover. I upgraded my side, which was really a downgrade because it was also pretty flavourless and the cheap bacon bits were really unappealing. Burger was tasty, should have just gotten another of those instead of the nachos. Coming in the back door, it had a bad smell of cigarettes and bathroom lingering. Basic experience gives this place a 3/5.

Excellent service as usual. Food was well prepared and vegan friendly. Sports were on the tv. Enjoyable dinner out! Vegetarian options: Excellent vegetarian and vegan selection. Tastes fantastic! Parking: Parking in back. Not a lot of spaces. Some parking on the road. Most people park across the road.

A good local place for good food. They have great deals throughout the week for great prices. A bit disappointed that the accessible door openers dont work at all, and there isnt even one on the outside of the building to get inside.

Just had an amazing meal with even better service. Server Jessica was so lovely to talk to and very attentive to our needs.

Long story short keep your order simple and it s a decent establishment for fried foods, burgers and beer. Burgers were phenomenal. Sister in law told me always order burger and fries as it s hard to mess up and she was right. Hers looks amazing and was done perfectly. My Sunday special steak was ordered medium rare and came out thicker than the others and Blue in the middle. There weren t even red juices coming out it was so raw First cut was nothing but tendon also so just bad luck I guess. I think that s when my expectations dropped. Ordered mashed potatoes instead of fries (my mistake it was busy and I should have known better). They came out as loaded mashed potatoes but she did remember the side of gravy (gave it to my sister in-law to save the extra up charge as I had paid now for extra fancy mashed) Waited for drinks while we saw servers in the back room having drinks themselves. Also please hydrate but we were honestly parched ourselves and I was kinda jealous The mashed potatoes kind of fell flat too given the way they were dressed up and should have blown me away with bacon and cheese and chive but instead they tasted watery and the flavours were not combining either. It lacked a richness that I think some butter, cream and salt could have helped more than just the sour cream But I understand if they are premade and frozen in a ramekin and heated as needed. I ended up taking it all home and basically cooking the steak more myself and fixing up the mashed potatoes to not be a pull during the rush. But overall was very disappointed and had to keep my mother from complaining and she was about to cause a scene in the restaurant.

Poor service and the steaks that were order were cooked wrong and they had a funny taste to them and we were told by one of the waiters that we were wrong because they had no other complaints. Both of the waiter and waitress had attitudes.

Food was great, but this review is about the amazing bartender. Currently sitting at the Roadhouse watching the bartender get drown in drink chits.... 30+ at a time. Shes crushing it. Keeps a smile on her face, and just keeps doing her job. Absolutely amazing work. Give that girl a raise !!!!

If you are looking for great food, fair prices, great service, and a roadhouse atmosphere, look no further. Being fairly new to the St Thomas area, we found this gem, and have now eaten there at least a dozen times now. Staff are always friendly. And the food is great. Love going there.

Ordered Mole Fajita and they had zero Molé sauce on it. Waitress tried to tell me it was mixed in. Molé sauce is an incredibly dark chocolate color and the white rice it was served on was barely beige with sauceand essentially dry. No flavor, intensely bland. Waste of money. Tried to give them another chance since I last went and ordered ribs only to receive them uncooked.

A/C not working very hot inside

We havent been here for many years due to our last bad experience but decided to try it again tonight. Now we had 4 adults and 5 children, now yes this is a large group but the kids had 4 kids pizzas and one kids spaghetti the adults had 3 Fajitas ( the special of the night ) and one salad a very straight forward meal order. It took for ever for the food to come out all the kids were complaining how hungry they were, other tables came in after us and got their food before us. Again we will not be back the service was terrible.

We were celebrating the life of a friend and family member who passed recently. The staff helped us to relax and have a good day.

I went in for the top serloin and it was incredible. Kyle was our chef, and it was cooked to perfection. The pina colada was very tasty as well. Im not sure of the name of our waitress, but she was so sweet and accommodating, but not overbearing. We will definitely eat there again Parking: There are a couple spots to park in front of the restaurant but there is also more spots in the back, so weve never had a problem finding a parking space. Kid-friendliness: It is definitely a kid friendly restaurant as Ive taken my child before. They do sell alcohol but because its in a restaurant setting, things are calm and inviting, plus they have great childrens options. Wheelchair accessibility: The restaurant is all on the main floor which makes it wheelchair accessible and its easy to maneuver inside.

Best wings in town by a wide margin. Nick is an amazing server. Half priced wings on Wednesday and every night after 8! The daily specials are great. Excellent value for your money.

Went in on Tuesday at noon, maybe 8 people in the restaurant and waited almost and hour to get our food. I ordered the crispy chicken club sandwich. Nothing crispy about it, looked like a chicken burger that they heated up in the microwave. Very disappointed.

Honestly this place has gone down hill, Ive never been more disappointed with a meal and Ive never complained but the chicken parm was straight up disgusting. Cold noodles that were unbelievably soggy and flavorless sauce. It was sent back to come back out even worse. Probably wont be back after this.

Had the Asian spicy chicken Salad it was real good and a large portion. Great spot to get your grub on. The Yelling order up every 5 mins gets annoying yall maybe change that up

First beer had 3 strands of hair in it. Server exchanged it for new one, the second glass had some black deposit at the bottom, don t know if it were some insects or rust from the tap. ..Well it s my birthday today, totally ruined the lunch. Food wasn t bad, but beer experience was awful.

I have been to Road House many times for there prime rib and its been great. We got it tonight and it was horrible. It seemed it was 5 days old. Order medium rare. Came well done. Taste like a bad roast with all the fat rendered out of it 5 days ago.

So I have a 50 year old having a birthday coming up and he is a regular at St Thomas Road House. Him and his wife go ones a week. I went to make a reservation and was declined by Nick.. wow nick you take personal to a whole new level. Now looking for a place to hold a party for 80people. You just lost alot of money Nick you should make personal issues involve business. Be more professional. I actually did call and nick answered and hung up on me. But yes we did find another venue thanks to help from one of your other employees. She was very helpful after reading this post and called me.

We were in tonight and ordered anjtitos as our appetizer. They came with next to no cheese and tasted like plain tortillas with peppers sprinkled in. We both ate 1 each and I decided to say something because for the price, there was nothing to them. We were asked if we wanted new ones and I said no thanks, they were taken away and we were told a manager would take care of it. The bill came and were still charged 10$ for an appetizer we didnt even eat. No manager came to the table, the waitress didnt even let us know if we were charged. My fiance paid the bill and tipped generously because he felt bad for saying something. I went up to the waitress afterwards and asked why we would still be charged for something we didnt eat and she said she didnt even notice it and that if it were the other manager, he probably would have taken them off the bill. I walked away because at that point, customer service is clearly something that didnt matter so I wasnt going to argue. Mind you, our main entrees were great and we have no problem paying for a good dinner and tipping well too but that is terrible customer service and we wont be back. Cheers.

Firstly, I would like to compliment the waitress and bartender that took my order they were very nice and friendly, aswell as knowledgably about the menu. My Fiancée and i came and ordered pickup. (We live less then a 5 minute walk away.)I Ordered the New York Steak, with a side of fries and gravy, Aswell as the Fettuccini Alfredo Pasta, with garlic bread. Unfortunately, I was told it would be only around 15 - 20 minutes to have my order made. So we drove back home and waited 15 minutes before coming back, At this point about twenty minutes had passed. Upon Prearrival, I paid for the food and the waitress went to check if it the food was ready which it was not. After around another 15 minuites she came and apologized saying that the food wasnt ready yet, and asked if i would like a drink. I polietly declined and after another five or so minutes my food was brought to me. After less than a five minute walk home i excitedly opened the bag of my food. Unfortunately Most things were just room tempature, and soggy. For example, Even the containers that the food were in, were slightly wet. The fries that came with my streak were literally floppy and wet, The gravy that came with it, was partially solidified. The Garlic bread that came with my pasta was soggy aswell. Im Very disappointed.

Excellent food and fair prices. There s even a vegan menu with a couple different options! I was given cheese (not vegan) for an advertised vegan dish, so just triple check there s no mistakes there. The service could have been a little better, I felt like I was waiting a long time to get attention. After dropping off drinks and food there was no check-in to see if we were missing anything (we were) or how things were. Beyond this, the food was delicious and my partner even ordered more food to go. We got 2 signature cocktails, 2 apps, a vegan dish, the steak special, and a poutine to go and it was only $60! We will be returning again. Looks like there s tons of room for big parties of 20-80 as well! Vegetarian options: Vegan menu available. Dietary restrictions: Vegan meats available, no cheeses. Make sure to double check.

As a Vegan I was really excited for the vegan options offered on the website, well priced but had to find it online couldnt see anything on the inperson menu for vegan. The chickn was not very good, looked like the real thing but just not good taste. They tried and I appreciated that. But I would not recommend that part. Mine was the Vegan Primavera, I will say everything else was delicious, the pasta and sauce fantastic and veggies, wow. Better without the fake chicken. The server was a bit short with me I felt, but she had 20 of use by herself and one of the cooks was taken by abulance during our meal so obviously she had a lot going on. Would I got back? Yes. Would I recommend it? Yes. Just not the Chickn. Order the vegan without it Vegetarian options: Vegan Primavera Dietary restrictions: Did the best you could do - I appreciate that.

Its been several years since last time dinning there. More disappointed than anything. Food was ok but nothing special or to look forward to. Wasnt worth the money. Dont think Ill be back again for some time. Dietary restrictions: They do have a handful of GF options. I dont think they fully understand what GF is as they mix their GF items with none GF items within their main fryer. Parking: Free street parking which can be harder to get. They have their own lot out back with a back door entrance. Often park across the street as its easy and wide open. Wheelchair accessibility: All entrances are wheelchair accessible. Depending on where you are seated can be a bit tight for a wheelchair to move around.

We had a party of 9 go to the restaurant on Saturday night. It was a good night and the waitress did a great job. The food however was very late as kitchen was behind which was explained and it came out cold and dry. It was disappointing as that is not the usual service weve come to love from the restaurant.

Great place for Prime Rib served everyday. There is PLENTY of room to have a private party (2 rooms) we held a surprise party for a new St. Thomas resident in the smaller room the room was Perfect. Good parking in the back and on the street. We also attended a party Nov.20,2021 at The Original Roadhouse the larger private room!! Wonderful space very perfect for private parties! Vegetarian options: Most entrees I have seen have a choice of meats so leaving it out should be no problem. Dietary restrictions: If you speak what your restrictions are or call ahead if you can they WILL TRY very hard to accommodate you. Kid-friendliness: Families are always welcome an usually there during meal times. Wheelchair accessibility: There is access from the parking lot there are also tables reserved for wheel chair guests.

The food was good. The service was to be desired. Normally a good waitress would bring you ketchup for your French fries or ask you. We shouldnt have to keep asking for everything and refill for coffee. It not like they where busy.

Waitress was nice. Coffee was hot, black and never ran dry. I was raised to see food and eat it. So I did. I was raised to say nothing if I couldnt say something good. So I didnt.

Food is pricey for the portion sizes but the food is good. I come here with friends and family often

I have been here at least 5 times over the past three years. Each time has been a great experience with friendly staff and great food. Would recommend for parties, small gatherings or just a night out. Lots of tvs if you want to watch, or a quieter area if you re looking for some conversation.

For some reason everything we ordered was very Bland, and the food was not worth the money I paid for it to be honest I hate to say that but its just the way it is I should have stuck with their famous hamburger or something theyre famous for but I ordered something different for a change and I wish I never did because it was definitely not worth the money I paid Wheelchair accessibility: Lots of place to park easy for wheelchair entrance.

Good food however when they re busy they choose to not answer the phone. When they finally answer they informed us they weren t doing take out tonight because they re so busy. If I went in and had to wait an hour to seat that s ok but I can t wait an hour for takeout? Makes no sense. Was a every other week customer, not now. So done with them. St Thomas is in dire need of a good restaurant.

My wife and I always love the Dijon Steak Salad, but were quite disappointed when the blue cheese was missing. We love the blue cheese. Also, the usual scattering of nuts was also missing. Hope this is not a sign of a downward trend in food quality. Our guest had a steak, which was ok.

We enjoyed the food and the service. The staff made this a fun time Affordably priced. Great quality beer selection. Lots of sport TVs. Very large place and very wheelchair accessible. They posted that they would help with any dietary restrictions.

Had no trouble making a reservation for 10+. The service was attentive, good humored and fast. All 7 adults and 3 kids (all under 5) had our food served in less than 20 minutes. Everyone was happy with the food and drinks and the kids enjoyed the atmosphere. The Waitresses were extremely good with our kids and we had a fantastic experience all around.

Had the turkey avocado wrap, super bland. It was 90% lettuce, next to no turkey and just a tiny bit of avocado in one half. The fries were delicious. Service was next to non-existent. There was only our table and one other table of 2 and yet our server was no where to be found most of the time we were dining. Disappointing visit.

The food and menu selection is great but trying to call in to order takeout takes 30+ minutes of calling every few minutes (they tell you to keep trying till they pick up) as there is no call waiting or anything. Multiple times weve tried to order and given up when we cant get through. Really frustrating experience

Such a disappointment! The first two times at this Roadhouse we thought we finally found a fine eatery in St Thomas. BUT the last two were a huge let down. Third time the kitchen was super slow with the tortellini not at all cooked and were totally inedible. The fish in the fish n chips was burnt on the edges. Fourth time, there was barely any meat in both the Roast Beef sandwich and Rueben. We never complain but this was an insult. The manager could only say that it is measured . Hardly an excuse is it! To make it worse she was very loud and we became the center of attention. Most embarassing. Two stars is for the servers only. They were always excellent. We will not return.

Eat lunch with our 9 year grandson yesterday July 13th. My Blue Cod (which is not cod but a type of ocean perch from NZ ) was freezer burned and dried out. My wifes grilled turkey and bacon sandwich was dry bread with 1 1/2 slices of paper thin turkey lunch meat and 1 1/2 pieces of bacon so thin you could see through it and a slice of cheese. No mayo,no lettuce, no tomato and not buttered inside or outside, and squished in a press to further dry out the bread to show grill marks. The fries were also dried out ( probably reheated fries). The Roadhouse was great before Covid . Never again . Go somewhere else .PS. only 2 other people eating at noon , we should have known something was up or I meant Gone Down Hill.

Wing night go here often. Alway order wings flaps only( MY WIFE TAKES YHE DRUMS) placed the order mo problem. Order came. Wife got drums as ordered i got exactly the oposite of what i ordered all drums. Was told new rule cant guarantee only flaps. Said ok but NO flaps? Grrrrr.

Ok, so I know this isnt done dining, but it is always best if everyone at a table is served at the same time. Our server was very friendly and attentive. The kitchen, however, on a rather slow night, was getting the food out at a snails pace. This is certainly not a place to go if you want a quick bite.

Prime Rib was cold and med. well (asked for med.rare). Green beans were excellent, and loaded baked potato was sad. Server Was lovely! Very helpful, happy, quick. Very Genuine Atmosphere Was ok. Normal for a roadhouse Maybe a new chef or a different one. Not a good night for whoever was cooking. We might try one more time. Jury is still out on this idea. Parking: Parking in the back. My daughters hockey team went for lunch. We had a reservation and the restaurant wasn t busy. We waited 1.5 hours for our food!

Our server was great; very friendly. I understand that serving vegetarian and vegan customers is annoying when your specialty is meat but I would expect a little more common sense from the kitchen. We ordered 2 vegetarian entrees and asked to upgrade the fries to cheesey loaded fries not realizing that they came with bacon. The kitchen made us what we ordered, 2 vegetarian entrees with a side of bacon fries, we had to send them back and buy a second round of sides because of our oversight. Not a big deal the food was pretty good but just a little common sense would be nice. Arrived and we were the only diners. Waiter asked for 2 ? I said yes please . She just walked away without saying anything to a table unset . Brought menus and pilled our cutlery. The wings were good but ordered fajitas and Alfredo pasta . Fajitas meat just tasted poorly seasoned and same with the pasta . I was never asked if I wanted another drink either when i finished mine . She never set our table at all and just didnt seem very happy to be there . Did not feel like a good experience

Plenty of food. Prime Rib awesome. Mywife had good turkey dinner. White meat a little dry only comment. Will go back for a gourmet burger sometime.

Walked in at 730 on a Saturday evening. Place was not busy. We were sat at the very back, waited 10 min not one waitress stopped at the table. A couple walked wait staff walked by the table with no acknowledgment. We got up and left, on the way out I told the 5 staff members standing at the bar about our experience and they told me to have a good night. Don t waste your time with this place.

Ive been to the roadhouse a couple times now and always a pleasant experience. We had Jessica as a server and she was so nice and welcoming. Amazing personality it made our experience so much better. We will be most definitely be back because of her! The prices are very reasonable to!

My hubs and I came here tonight for the fajita special. Not only was the food delicious our waitress Jessica was incredible. She was so friendly and attentive. Her bubbly personality made our visit enjoyable. Thank you Jessica

We dined here again tonight. Always enjoyable! Food is great, best potato skins in London/St.Thomas area and beyond! Great price and great portions on the skins. Staff was attentive and super friendly! Enjoyable atmosphere, many tvs and staff always willing to change the channel for you.

Me and my boyfriend celebrated our 7 month anniversary here the other night and we had a great time! The food was amazing and the servings were HUGE, so we had a lot of leftovers . I recommend the nachos, fish and chips, and the chicken stir fry. Our waitress, Jessica was so nice and friendly. She must be the nicest waitress I have ever been served by at any restaurant!

Great spot in St. Thomas, stopped in for dinner. Had the Loaded Perogies, the Classic Burger with the STR sauce and the Fettuccine Alfredo, all seasoned very well. Burger was cooked perfectly, the sauce was very savoury, paired well together. Perogies were a good size portion, almost a meal on its own. Looking forward to a next visit.

We had terrible service today and complained to the waitress and all she did was argue instead of saying she was sore and was trying her best that would have helped. You need more waitresses if waitress can t keep up. Food was fine to but to bad service did meet expectations. I would not recommend going there only for service.

Went in for both mine & my nieces birthday last week, the waitress we got was busting her butt and doing an amazing job at it, very friendly & ensured all of her customers were taken care of. Food was also delicious, as it always is! One of the best spots to go in st thomas.

Prime rib tasted like it was cooked a week ago. Asked for medium rare and got medium done. Mashed potatoes were cold, had to ask for a new batch. Only one person working the tables on a Sunday afternoon. Waited 10 mins for a table clean up before being seated. Food

Went for lunch. Burger and fries. Both good but smallest serving I have ever had at a sit down restaurant. About the size of a kids meal at Mcdonalds. Typical roadhouse interior/sportsbar atmosphere but lots of parking out back and huge place.

My daughter and I went in the service was fantastic I noticed the hostess running like her head was cut off, she did such a fantastic job! I did pull her aside to tell her she was doing a great job with everything, The food everything was spot on as always

Best and cheapest wings in town by far on Wednesday wing night half price. Love the large carrot and celery dish portions since fries are mostly saturated fat and unhealthy unless baked. That on top of that beer deals available. See you Wednesdays.......

Love the Roadhouse. Beautiful atmosphere and the food is amazing. Half price appetizers after 9 pm.

They definitely took care of us. We were late arrivals, close to closing, to the restaurant... We were made to feel like it was no problem. Very friendly, didnt rush us. Overall excellent!!!

Kirsten is the best bartender ever!!! Shes the reason I go there.
