Food was excellent and they were very accommodating for my wifes gluten allergy.

I come from London to st Thomas just for the service and food, it s always perfect and the staff is always great witch is very hard to come by now adays . this restaurant is a Jem and I hope it stays the exact same forever 10/10

Honestly my favourite spot to eat in st.thomas. I would much rather come here for a burger and fries than go to a fast food chain.

My husband got us food here an hour ago and asked for his burger to be just cooked. In fact he asked the lady working to take the burger off because she was overcooking it She refused and said it would be raw. Then served him a dried out crusty burger that someone who likes a well done burger would not even eat, with mustard which hes allergic to on it we fed it to our dog. I literally am so annoyed because il have to hear him complain about this burger all night. Thanks..

Had a burger here worthy of cutlery. Decided to use my hands and left a nice spot to dip me fries. Was glorious. Would eat it again.

Burgers were indeed good however the poutine I ordered was served with shredded mozzarella and not cheese curds. This is known as Disco Fries and is not authentic poutine

Went to use the men s toilet it was full of human waste to the brim of the toilet the floor had human waste on it. From the toilet I told the people behind the counter to buzz me into the women s bathroom that was spotless. I told them about the condition of the men s bathroom they didn t seem to concerned. The food haha the food well let s see I like my burgers plain. I ordered a double cheese burger.. the burger tasted like a dirty frying pan you know that smell you get when you have a pan setting a day with beef grease in it? Thats what my burger tasted like. Needless to say I threw it away.. the French fries .. were old dry and hard like they were scrapped off someone s plate and fed to me. Now I m sure that s not what happened but they were disgusting. I won t ever be back I suggest you go elsewhere seriously there is zero pride In the food that comes out of that kitchen.

I have had the pleasure of coming here often to eat with my family when I was growing up. Genuine people with hearts of gold. I would always get the pizza sticks and fries with some chocolate milk. This place gives me a feeling of home. I will always recommend Harry s to anyone if they visit my hometown.

Ive been reluctant to share this review because this is a great place thats not too busy the five or six times I have dined in but here we are. Harrys has fantastic burgers with fresh toppings for a reasonable price. Whether you choose fries or onion rings, they too will be made fresh. There is plenty of seating inside and folks are coming and leaving with take out orders. This is a hidden gem right along the main drag in St. Thomas.

I was rather disappointed. When I walked in I was the only customer there. There were 2 people working who were having trouble keeping the phone orders straight, and I waited at least 5 minutes before anyone realized that I was there and took my order. I was surprised that cheese was not available for the burger. And just as my order was almost ready they had to ask me if I had ordered fries or onion rings. Maybe it they wrote their orders down there wouldnt be so much confusion. Really gone down hill since I was there a few yrs ago.

The service sucks here, the staff were grumpy and didnt like they wanted to work. My burger was not cooked and was soft as cat food. These people need to learn how to cook a burger. And if you going to be original, how about fresh handmade burgers.

Harrys has the BEST gluten-free burgers and buns. I often call ahead and order for pick-up. They are friendly and quick on the phone. The food is always hot and they always ask if they need to keep the gluten-free items away from the other items containing gluten. I appreciate the service very much which is why I always go back.

Been a long time customer and got the worst service, the burgers were down right awful. Called to get to it fixed and got attitude about their bad service, manners. Guess being a regular long time customer means nothing to you. Wonder why people go to burger king instead. Never had them mess up my order like this and they make it in half the time without the entitled mouthiness. The food was disgusting. After 5 years of being customers you have lost our business.

WORST SERVICE AND FOOD EVER. The bad phone ordering and manners should have been my first red flag. Then upon delivery the food was cold not even room temp. We live mins from the restaurant. Order was wrong, not a surprise with the way my order was taken. Then when you call back you get attitude. Told the problem is you and not their bad business. Cant afford to keep their burger add on in stock. They dont tell you about this suppose to be able read their minds and find out when you get the order. The burger was cold, dry and tasted like cardboard. The gravy was like hard cold glue and the fries were mostly tiny burnt pieces like you get when its the last of the batch. All 3 special orders where like this. We spent $58 plus a tip. The delivery person was the only decent employee we spoke to. We have been going to this restaurant since we moved to St.Thomas for 10 years. We are disgusted in the service and respect we got as long term customers. As much as people put down box stores like burger king down. I have never gotten service and food this disgusting. With them its always been fast, hot and good tasting. Just think helping the local venders are important but with service like this its a wonder you are still in business. You may have gotten great service from him so far. But buyer beware when it goes wrong because its your fault to them.

If you are looking for the style of independent go to burger joint that has been in most Ontario small towns since at least the 70s, and often have greek items like Souvlaki and Gyros along with their burgers and fries, this is your place. Parking: Parking right in front of the building. Kid-friendliness: Highchairs on site Wheelchair accessibility: Two doors to enter but the building is level with the parking lot with no stairs.

Best Steak on a bun in South western Ontario, 6 oz prime rib cooked perfectly everytime on a nice soft bun, and a great price. Everything they make is good, but definitely recommend the steak on a bun

Out of all my years living in the area I had never tried Harrys, although I had heard good things. Tonight, I went and it did not disappoint. Great taste, fresh bun, friendly people and awesome prices. Will be back in the near future.

Frank went above and beyond to make sure I enjoyed my meal, he even gave free onion rings on the house. The portobello mushroom burger is amazing and I ll definitely be going back to have it again.

If you re looking for a new fast food joint you will not be disappointed with Harry s! The burgers are huge and you have the option of adding cheese, bacon or grilled option all for a low extra fee (I believe about $0.50 each). Once your burger is prepared you will be called up and asked to chose your toppings! It cost our family of 4 about $35 to go out for dinner and leave with a full belly! Not many places you can do that anymore!

Harrys will always be my first (and only!) choice for a burger in St. Thomas. The food is great, the staff are lovely, and the prices are LESS EXPENSIVE than any of the fast food chains down the street. I honestly do not understand why anyone would go to McDonalds or Burger King and pay more for a burger when they could come to Harrys and have a REAL hamburger with real toppings for a lower price. The whole place is awesome. Dont make the mistake of going anywhere else.

Fries and battered mushrooms were great ,burger was sub-par. The best part of it was the fresh Greens Bakery bun.

Arrived a few minutes early to pick up a 12:30 take out order over $50, 1 person ahead of me placing a lengthy order. While waiting I realized it was my order sitting bagged up on the counter. Sadly had to wait my turn while my order was getting cold. Specific request on ordering is please dont put tartar sauce in with hot food, only to open box with my order in it. 1 piece fish and chips. Tartar sitting on top of fish. Why put cold tartar in with hot food. Fries very small most less than 1 long. Fish overcooked, dry on both ends. Everyone elses orders were fine.

Been going to Harrys for awhile everything was good always used my phone to pay had no problems then I go Tuesday August 15 and they tell me Im not allowed to use my phone to pay for my order makes no sense if you ask me cause if I didnt have the password for the phone Im using the payment would not go through

As usual the experience was pleasant and the food was its standard delicious, however the noisy sound of the chairs across the tile floor sends echoes of shrill through me. Maybe some dollar store felt pads would enhance the atmosphere and negate the hollowness I feel when I dine there. Still the best steak on a bun in town though.

Charcoal Broiled! Not sure if they are actually cooking on charcoal, looked like gas flame grill, but man oh man that was a yummy bacon cheese burger. I wanted the fries but my kid wanted her onion rings and they were quite good, from the look of it, I shoulda splurged on the diet and got them fries. The place feels kinda basic, which is what you need for a burger joint. We literally drove by 40 cars jockeying for drive-thru dominance in the Mickeys a couple doors down and I spotted this non-discript spot. Its not clear how they do it, but you order to the right, pay, they cook it up and the lady who took our payment told us to sit down and they would bring it to us or call. We were out of eye site and noticed a few people standing around the grill also waiting. It took about 5 min and our order was called out, come back to the grill area and they have steel bowls of condiments, pickles, tomatoes, onions, and sauces. My girl wanted lettuce, which is weird, since she never does, but it might be a thought. Our chocolate shakes, only 4 bucks for the size of a medium at Mickeys, was so thick and delish. The burger bun is a fresh deli bun that is toasted on the inside like my grandma used to do, and the meat was really tasty. Good work Harrys.

Hey folks, this is clearly the best burger around. And not what you re thinking. This is a gluten-free bacon cheeseburger. It doesn t matter about the gluten. It s just better, better than other burgers. Here s why, the regular burger has filler in it, that s where the gluten comes from. Here they have to use pure ground chuck in the burger without any fillers. That s why it cost more and that s why it taste so much better. And they have sourced a great bun. You would have no idea it s gluten-free and it taste better as well. Go for all the Fixin s! Fresh, hot and delicious!

Passing through St. Thomas, made a stop for lunch at Harrys not checking any reviews. It was clear by listening that a lot of customers were regulars. The service was prompt and friendly enough. The place appeared clean. I ordered a double burger and onion rings. Absolutely on par with a Harveys burger. But, it has what appears to be a bakery bun! Very nice little place. Support local. Harrys has been in St.Thomas for a long time now and theyre still making great food! The place is very clean with friendly staff and your food is made to order, every time, over a real flaming grill!!! Why go to one of the corporate run fast food joints where cleanliness is a thing of the past? Support a local legend and never be unsatisfied!!

Loved the food was very delicious. However, the girl on the phone was very rude. I understand it may have been busy but that is no excuse for rudeness. Her tone of voice and answering of my questions was very terse and when I finished my order she abruptly hung up the phone. Not a thank you for your order or even a good-bye . Plenty of parking in the parking lot, handicap parking available as well. First time coming here and it was tasty!! Large enough menu for everyone and a decent variety. Its a fresher tastier fast food place. Food doesnt come out right when you order because they are actually making it to order. Burger was delicious and the pizza rolls were great too.

Very friendly staff, quick service, made to order. I wouldnt say it was the best burger Ive had but it was good. The burger couldve have been charred more to get more of that flavor. It is Harrys Charcoal Broiled after all . The fries werent great, lots of little bits of crumbs and hard peices. Overall an okay place with okay prices, but nothing fantastic.
