Old School Pizza Co. in St Thomas

The wood-fired pizza we tried was absolutely outstanding! We ordered the Tandori Paneer pizza and Margherita pizzas, and both were bursting with flavor. The crust was perfection crispy on the outside, soft and airy on the inside, with just the right amount of char and a delightful smokiness from the wood fire. Every bite was a perfect balance of textures and flavors, making it a truly unforgettable experience. If you re a pizza lover, this is a must-try!

We went in tonight and had some amazing pizza. They were made well, the staff were very friendly and helpful and the store was very clean. Excellent quality and budget friendly :) What a deal. Definitely recommend 100%

WOW!!! I was working in the area today and saw this on my Google maps and it was on my was home. OMG! Was it good. I ate half of it before I hit the 401. Did this place change ownership? The pizza I had last night was worse than hot n ready from little caesars. These guys were the best pizza in town last year imo. I dont understand how it can be that bad, like the cheese and pepperoni didnt even look like they experienced heat. The crust was flat and hard to bite through, like cardboard coated in plastic. What a terrible change from my last order here.

Great place! The owner is good to his workers, theyve worked hard to create a good atmosphere in their dining area, and the boundless creativity of the staff makes it so theres always something new and tasty to try! The pizza was really super fast and it was very tasty. The crust was nice and crispy the next day when the left overs were reheated.

We git the dill pickle pizza and the cheeseburger pizza. The dill pickle was amazing. The cheeseburger had clumps of mustard in places that made it taste weird.

I came back to this pizzeria after 6 or 8 months. And the pizza was so so. Not sure if they changed the recipe of the tomato paste of their pizzas but all of my family members found it spicy, and saturated with that paste.

Your gonna be feed just right at Old School Pizza Co. Remember back in day when they didnt skimp on toppings. This is that Company reincarnated. I had four piece of their Canadian pizza and I could hardly move I was so stuffed. Fresh ingredients cooked in a flame kissed oven that gives it that fresh ol timey flavor. Build a pizza and extra cheese actually mean extra cheese its amazingly ooie gooie good. See their menu its irresistible. Luv Malcom Stay strong St Thomas.

Basil-ly speaking the margarita pizza was delicious and yum on the flip side the crust looked well done and the hot honey and wings was amazing with perfect taste and it was juicy too

Amazing pizza! Had the garlic chicken pizza, was hands down top 3 pizzas Ive ever had. Also had some of the jerk chicken wings which were also fantastic. Highly recommend this place.

I m celiac and thought I d eat here as their gluten free practices sound good. Ate with three non celiac friends. They all loved their pizzas. Mine - not so much. It was not a great crust (even for GF which I know can be not great) and mine was not hot. I was also glutened (a risk I knew I was taking). We won t be back as I spent a lot of $$ and have leftover pizza I can t even eat. Dietary restrictions: I would not recommend eating here if you are true celiac.

Were in St Thomas/Port Stanley for the weekend and felt like pizza for dinner on the first night and were thrilled to see this place with a ton of positive reviews. Unfortunately we had the complete opposite experience, so Im not sure what the hype is about. We ordered online which was about a 25 min wait and upon getting there, were told that they forgot about our order and itd be another 20 minutes (this was after I paid) I was offered a cheesecake for the mixup. Cool. Then when we brought our meal back to our Airbnb, we noticed they forgot our dipping sauces. Great. Im obviously not going to make a big deal about $3 but its just annoying at this point. The pizza is sub par at best. I dont really buy into all of these raving reviews.

I absolutely love old school pizza. Its the best pizza Ive ever had. I used to always get the signature pepperoni pizza until I tried the jalapeno popper pizza and its seriously bomb. If you havent tried it, you definitely should.

I can actually easily eat a small pizza, but I can barely eat old-school pizzas small, because it is so stuffed!! Plus, that smoky flavor from the fire oven just tastes so good!

I have a member in my house hold that has celiac disease and the owner was so kind to go as far to clean the oven and everything to ensure my child wouldnt get sick. I have never ate here before but we were looking to try somewhere new tonight for supper. Our pizza was hot, loaded with toppings and cheese. They have so many options its hard to choose and absolutely delicious! Definitely will be a repeat customer. Vegetarian options: So many options its hard to choose, plus u can add cauliflower crust too. Dietary restrictions: Lots of options like cauliflower crust and lactose free cheese. Kid-friendliness: Lots of options for picky children and mine even are the crust!

Ordered from Old School Pizza Co. for the first time tonight and it was delicious. 5 stars was easy to give for creativity, freshness, topping amounts, flavour, presentation and customer service - awesome job and high fives to the guys working tonight! We ordered the signature pepperoni pizza which comes with ricotta and a hot honey drizzle - omg the drizzle is too good and if you like sauce or honey - get extra on the side as I wish I would ve done! We also made a custom request with pepperoni, bacon, green olives & green peppers. We got 4 pops and a large order of the garlic cheesy strips - super flavourful too! The only thing I would say, is I personally would ve like my pizza just a tiny bit more cooked to really taste the wood stove! You can taste it but am sure they d take the request for more well done, if that s your thing! Either way, it was a great experience, awesome service and even with take out - being 15 minutes from home, it was still delicious! Highly recommended from someone who values good authentic pizza, in a world where most pizza joints claim to do so but often fail!

Best pizza I have had in Ontario. The wood burning oven adds a flavour that no other way of preparing pizza can compete in my opinion. Their ovens are beautiful and make gorgeous, delicious pizzas. There is plenty of parking out front of the restaurant. There is plenty of seating inside as well. I went on a Tuesday and was able to walk right in, order, and have a seat. Pizza came out in a very reasonable amount of time and was the best pizza I have ever had from St Thomas and probably Ontario!! The price was very reasonable, and I was super full off the small just to myself. It was easily big enough to feed two, but I am a gluten for tasty pizza!!

Best pizza in St. Thomas. Hands down. I m not a pizza fan but this place turned me into one. Loaded pizzas, the crust is soft and juicy and all pizzas that we tried had their distinct flavours which clearly is intentional. We didn t need any dip to go along and we loved it. I hope they grow beyond the city and would totally advocate them as long as they don t franchise it out.

made the drive from wyoming just to try this place and it was well worth it. 10/10 will do it again. tried 5 different 9inch pizzas and they were all chefs kiss. Caesar, Thai sweet chili, dill pickle and 2 different kinds of pepperoni. the housemade red sauce is one of a kind. every pizza was perfectly made the way it is. the dining room is old skool with lots of cool things to look at and very clean. the pizza and people are of the highest quality... we cant wait to go back.

This place is legit. Reminds me of old meets new, they have like traditional style wood fired super thin crust that is absolutely amazing, but then mixed with amazing amounts of delicious toppings and really interesting creations. Their sauce (I am assuming is house made) is absolutely delicious with a little tang to it while being sweet.Note, they also offer other base sauces than tomatoes. I highly suggest this place for a quality pizza, obviously a bit more expensive than a chain, but the quality and taste is in a league of its own! Great job Old School Pizza! Amazing pizza, really friendly service! I tried the Spicy Thai Chicken pizza, with teriyaki chicken and sweet Thai chili sauce on hand tossed crust baked in a wood fired oven. I cant wait to try some of their other unique menu options Delicious! Even tasted great hours later when I ate the leftovers. 10 out of 10...definitely recommend

This place can have the absolute best pizza (sometimes). It was so good last week we decided to up the order and grab 3 pizzas for a total of over $40. The order was under cooked, floppy, and just didnt have the same taste like last week. Not sure what changed or happened but it was a disappointment. Hopefully the next time we come around its back to where its awesomely goodness was.

Interesting take on a pie. The pepperoni slices were ok. Interesting sauce, different, very clean in flavor, true to tomatoes. Decent cheese. Dough was rather standard. Well cooked! - thats key. Proper time spent in over. The wood fire ovens are rather electric, but Ill let that pass and blame the rotten state of society for the improvised marketing. Priced ok, order this if youre into something over typical big-chain pizza.

We are a big family... and Pizza is a favorite of every member. We dont often get pizza as we started to grow sick of the same old, same old... Today my husband was craving a super good pizza-- so we went to google and found all the pizza places in St. Thomas. We picked Old School Pizza Co. and they did not disappoint!! We tried the Meat pizza, the Cheese Burger pizza, Hawaiin Pizza and Cheese pizza. We were stuffed after only a few pieces each!!! SOOOOO worth every penny and 100% the pizza place we were searching for~ Thank you!!!

We have tried virtually everything on the food menu since Old School pizza, and it s consistently been 5-star deliciousness, taste, freshness, service and delivery. Best and most authentic Italian pizza in the city! Thank you! Vegetarian options: Absolutely phenomenal vegan and vegetarian fare/options! Very impressive for a pizza restaurant primarily designed for take away/delivery. All my gluten sensitive friends/family ONLY eat pizza from here! Dietary restrictions: Amazing vegan, vegetarian, gluten-free and keto options! Cauliflower crust is a bonus and one of the many things that set this pizza restaurant apart in the region. Parking: Parking can be challenging Friday-Sunday, especially in the evenings because it s shared with another hugely popular restaurant and other businesses. Take care to be aware of other traffic as the design isn t ideal and one time I witnessed an accident involving a big pick up truck and small car because of the horizontal and diagonal parking can be tricky, especially in rain or snow. I m so happy they deliver even though I m just a block away for this very reason! Park at a distance to be safe on busy nights.

Nothing special, this company is a chain, like Wendys, MickieD, TBell. Wouldnt compare to the old Bondis (which under new mgmt is not like it use to be in the 1970s). Pizza was cold when it arrived. Crust was like wet cardboard. Cheese had an odd after taste. Ive had pizza in some of New Yorks, Montreal and Chicagos finest pizza parlours and the St Thomas Old School doesnt come close. Little Ceasars and Domino make better pizza in St Thomas.

Ordered take out last night -our first time trying their pizza and it was FANTASTIC. We just ordered a large Canadian and vegan brownies. The pizza was very filling and generously made with lots of toppings and cheese. The vegan brownies were also incredible. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Would definitely come back. Ordered the Creamy Dill Pickle pizza tonight. Pizza was cooked to perfection. You really notice a difference with the wood ovens! Toppings were plentiful and delicious. Added bacon as a recommendation and it was an excellent choice. Came with a side dill sauce that paired perfectly with the pizza. Ive had to have tried every pizza on the menu by now, so I figured it was about time to leave a review. with all the pizzas Ive ordered from these folks, Ive never had a bad experience. so Im 100% convinced that the few bad reviews are legit just very miserable people, because spending 30 on a pizza is beyond their usual budget. which is fine, but its sad to take it out on an establishment. every pizza place in town tastes no better than a frozen pizza. this place reminds you that some companies actually focus on quality. which is why their pies are 30+. this aint no dominos. its high end pizza. if you cant see that, enjoy your cardboard flavored dominos.

So many Mom &Pop pizza places have closed here in St. Thomas and London lately. Old School Pizza is the new entry that is here to stay. It helps me forget about my favourites of the past. Im Old School all the way . They deserve to be your #1 pizza place too.

This is easily the best pizza in St Thomas! The dill pickle pizza is particularly delicious. Once the renovation is finished itll be even nicer, Im sure. I did wonder about the bedsheets for sale by the cash register, though, and the dead space behind them. A pizzeria isnt where Id go to get linens. Who wants a bed that smells like pizza?

After seeing other reviews, I had to try it out this weekend. My pizza was ready in 10 minutes, and was delicious. Toppings are generous, I loved that the chicken was cut into smaller, evenly spread pieces. The wood oven enhances the crust into a real treat when hot and re-heated. Will definitely be going back!

Simply amazing! If you like quality pizza, this is the place! I have never seen a pizza place run like this. It is truly inspiring! My only regret is I discovered this place 3 weeks before moving across the country. Hopefully you guys open a place in Nova Scotia soon!

I may be biased but the food is absolutely top notch. One of the greatest strengths of the restaurant is their emphasis on quality control. They work really really hard (harder than the vast majority of restaurants everywhere) to ensure their customers are thrilled with their order. Flavours available are also unlike anything else in town or in London. Big fan.

This pizza was catered for a work lunch and was absolutely amazing! So different from a regular pizza. Do not change a thing!!

I heard great thingsabout this place, unfortunately i was disappointed. We ordered 2 pizzas...one was baked potatoe pizza and the other a pepperoni. Both pizzas were bland and almost flavour-less. The pepperoni pizza was anemic with its toppings...very little pepperoni. I am not sure why it gets such high ratings but there are much tastier options in St. Thomas for more affordable. I honestly would have enjoyed a pizza more from one of the chains than this place. Not sure if it was just a bad day but we were very disappointed

Best pizza by far hands down in saint Thomas! I constantly order the Pepperoni Lovers and it s has been consistently time after time met and exceeded my expectations! I ve never had such consistency in a pizza from one place in my life.

Yum!! 4 of us went there yesterday and ate in. Nice bright seating area with lots of windows. Pizzas came quick and hot! My red Caesar was delicious. Everyone loved their pizza an the Greek Salad was great as a starter.

Its such a great place to go for some of the best pizzas around. The interior has some interesting antiques! Fun place for a first date!
