Great pizza at a reasonable price. Order is always correct and wait times for a walk in has been around 15 mins. Dietary restrictions: My wife is a celiac and really enjoys their gluten free option. They take care to ensure that there is no cross contamination and are knowledgeable about which topping are gluten free.

Waited 30 mins for 2 fish and chips on a walk in order. Food was good. Recommend ordering ahead.

Serve unbreaded fish too, so I could enjoy supper with the family as well. Yummy yummy food! Food

Waited 15 minutes to order and then 45 minutes and still had not received our order. Folks came in and ordered their order came in 10 minutes. When we asked about our order server said she would check. 10 minutes passed we flagged her down and she said she hadn t had time to check. Very unorganized and poor customer service.

Extremely CLEAN, food was crispy fried not leftover fries. Fish was excellent.... serving lady who I think was owner manager was SUPER friendly. Will come again. Food

Came in at 4:03pm got seated right away. The menus were sorta tossed at us by another server at 4:13 finally a server came to the table to take our order for both drink and food. She gave no introduction and spoke so low I couldnt hear her. The server just grabbed condment bottles from another table didnt clean them off and just put them on our table and walked away. She was chewing gum while serving very unperfessional also leaning over the table across customers. At 4:26 they brought my daughters frys and gravy but no one elses food. Had to ask for cutlery. 2 minutes later 2 more plates showed up. We are a party of 5. And by 4:28 we had our food. Food was good. Fish was flakey Cole slaw was nice and the frys were frys. Server came by just as I was about to take my first bite to ask me how it was. I looked at her with a puzzled look on my face then she walked away. 4:42pm we finished our dinner. Took a couple of minutes to get the waitress attention. Presentation I give a 4 out of 5 Service a 1 out of 5 The restaurant decors 2 out of 5 One of the reasons for this is there is still christmas decorations up In the end would I go again probably not. I feel the restaurant could use a bit of an upgrade ... servers need to be properly trained.. the food could use a little seasoning. Or at least put a lemon on the plate. That pretty standard with fish.

Pretty good for a greasy fish and chips place. Food was quick, portions were large and place was pretty clean. Mostly older crowd in there and they still had Xmas decorations up in May.

There was only one waitress on for the time we were there, and so timeliness of service suffered. Update: Today, there were 2 waitresses, and the service was much better. Parking: There were about 20 parking spots directly outside the restaurant. Wheelchair accessibility: There was a wheelchair parking spot. It had a spot in the sidewalk that was sloped for accessibility.

Salmon portion size was good but it was overcooked on the outside. Fish special was okay, frozen fries were a disappointment. Salad toppings were okay, yellow, anemic iceburg lettuce. Looks like a cafeteria. Expensive No real draw or incentive to return.

Incredible food - this is the only place I will eat fish and chips. Tastes just like the one in Port Perry that I used to eat at as a kid. Only complaint is the staff could be friendlier.

I purchased the platter to get a small taste of their overall offerings. Was neither disappointed nor over the moon about the entire experience. Service was as you might expect as was the cost. Was not disappointed with the taste and the batter was light and fresh. The platter portions were adequate. The atmosphere lacked what I had previously envisioned and expected. The expectations were that this would be more than a take out with a few booths.

The first time we tried it The fish was cold and slimy but we got take out so we thought we would dine in The food was good but far too expensive You need to lower your prices if you want to compete with Your Fish and Chips

The food was good and the fish portions were generous. Parking was scarce. There werent that many people in the restaurant but there were only two spaces available when I pulled in to pick up our food and as soon as one car pulled out, another one pulled in.

We waited until the hoopla of their GRAND OPENING died down and today we tried their Sunday Special of Haddock and Chips. If you like HUGE portions of poor quality food, this is the place for you. We dont live far and the food was piping hot when we got home. It was wrapped well, with ventilation holes in the boxes and in a paper bag to allow steam to escape. The fish had a nice, light batter, but was so thin that it was chewy on the ends and in the middle. The chips were dry and definitely not freshly cooked because they had that starchy taste that recooked or refried potatoes have. Strange, because the place was packed when we picked up our order, so and potatoes are still pretty cheap to buy, so why not have freshly cooked chips? The coleslaw was oil and vinegar, which we love, but had absolutely no taste because it wasnt seasoned in any way. All-in-all, a bit of a disappointment. Wont go back.

The service we had was excellent! The moment we walked in the door, we were greeted with a smile and escorted to a table. They saw we had a car seat and offered us a high chair to set it on. We ordered our food, and when we received it, you could tell it was hot and freshly made. It was delicious, and the portions were worth it! Well definitely be returning one day soon, despite being from out of town! Parking: Theres quite a few spots available right along the building, and even if near the restaurant, its a part of a plaza, so theres plenty more! Kid-friendliness: Theres a kids menu with a few things on it to choose from. The portion of the burger my 5 great old selected was a very good size!

They offer a special on Sunday for $4 dollars off but only for the normal chips and fries which is nice unless you want one of the other substitution offers. They then charge you full price plus the substitution. So if you like sweet potato fries over normal you will have to pay $7 dollars for that when normally it would be only a $3 dollar difference.

Was great dining with polite servers

We arrived around 5:00 PM, expecting to wait. Seated immediately, menus. Ordered, served within 5 minutes! Combination platter of battered fish, shrimp and scallops was plentiful, hot and downright tasty! Will absolutely visit again when craving fish & chips! Parking: Strip mall is poorly designed for patron parking. Spaces are limited in front of each store (especially during the winter) so had to find a spot several buildings over.

Great fish n chips. Its not a place to sit and hang out, but more a eat and go kinda place, and the dining area is more like a fast food joint. I have been there twice and the food was great both times, the last time we went we felt like we were being rushed out the door, as we were brought the bill and debit machine when one of us was still eating. Besides that it has always been Great food and good service.

Stopped in for the Sunday haddock special. Good portion size, good value for the money. Quick service, tasty meal. Ill be back.

Im only giving this review a two star because the wait staff were absolutely excellent and the person cooking my meal did an excellent job. Id come here a few times now and honestly, I dont think I will be coming back and supporting this business any longer. Despite the fact that the wait staff are all very polite and the food is wonderful, I refuse to support a manager who continuously berates his staff. Everyone who works here deserves better and does not deserve this treatment. I had decided to bring my friend here the other day and had to deal with a constant bell, screaming, and then a distraught waitress. Absolutely unbelievable. Horrible. I am never and will never recommend anyone to come here. Manager needs a reality check.

While the servers and staff were very friendly, they forgot to bring my husbands chowder before the meal. But nice decor, nice clean restrooms. My husband thought his meal was delicious and so did our guest. I did not care for the chips - too dry - my halibut was okay but not fantastic. A lemon wedge would have definitely been a help. The coleslaw was mediocre.

Good fries kind of dry fish

We had breakfast this morning (May 10) at the Halibut House. The bacon/egg and sausage/egg breakfasts were excellent. Good coffee and great service. Claire was very friendly and attentive. We found the prices to be quite reasonable. We will be returning!

Best fishing chips

Food was EXPENSIVE!! 2 piece fish and chips is over $25 and the halibut is like $37 for 2 pieces! Though the fish was a good portion, there could have been more fries for the price. Plus its $8.50 for a single piece of cheesecake! Waitresses were nice though. Wont be going back there. Food

We ordered the 5 piece family meal for take out. The fish was so greasy that it was dripping off it and the fries Tasted like they were sitting for hours. I would expect more for that price. Never again.

Very good food, great service but pricey in my opinion

The waitress was nice enough, but not once did she ask how it was or If we needed anything. The food was awful. Neither my friend nor I finished even a quarter of our meal. We had to wave down the waitress to ask for our bill because she kept walking by our table, ignoring us. Definitely will not be going back.
