Starting with food, was salty for our taste and pallet and bit too spicy for our liking. Nothing wrong with being spicy but you could feel that the spices were not mixed properly. Service was really bad. I don t expect five star service from a hole in the wall kind of joint like this, but I d expect them to be pleasant at the least. Conversation went like this, Are you Angie? I m Alexandria and my niece is ANGELA with a slight annoyance in the tone of response. No smile on the face and on the contrary annoyance all over the face and a look that suggests they are doing us a favour. Did this come from a place of prejudice? Not sure so going to give the benefit of doubt and not going to think about this any further, but wish they were pleasant to all and any who walked in to their joint and who are pleasant themselves. The whole experience would have made up for lack of taste and quality in food. This can be a great place but people who run it need to void themselves of any unwanted prejudice and judgement and just enjoy making and serving food.

I love coming here. I found this place a number of years ago while taking the family to my sister in-laws cottage. WHAT A FIND!! Im not big on spicy food, and I have food allergies, so I was quite surprised when Angie had delicious food I could eat and enjoy. Not too spicy, gluten free options, tons of flavor. Treat yourself to a meal with life, and enjoy. Dietary restrictions: Gluten free.

10/10 customer service, we ended up arriving after closing hours due to snow squalls and road closures. Angie waited for us and had only well wishes for us even though we were a bit late. Food was top tier. Huge recommend.

People who have been to Angies know how outstanding it is and will happily recommend it. If you are into Caribbean Jerk there are very few that hold up against Angie. Tried jerk in many different places and its always benchmarked against Angies...still havent been somewhere else (Jamaica included) that stacks up against Angies.

First time trying Angies place yesterday and i can say you wont be disappointed. I got the jerk pork roti and curry goat roti. Both were massive, and packed with authentic flavour. The jerk pork was my fav, will def be back.

The entrance was hard to find but a neighbor pointed it out to me when I made the wrong turn. Construction is in the area so if it is your first time there it will be hard to spot. Food was good enough but the service was poor

Absolute worst place ever!!! The rice and pease is OLD like from last week and was heated up in the microwave. Oxtail was frozen then also heated in microwave worst taste ever. Jerk chicken was OLD heated in microwave too. Angies place is like their left over dinner from last last week Sunday. This is not a real West Indian or Jamaican restaurant. If I could give it negative I would. It was the worst place I ve ever had Caribbean food!!!

Walked into this place and was welcomed warmly by the owner Angie. If you are looking for authentic Jamaican food then look no further, this place is too tier. I highly recommend trying the scotch bonnet hot sauce. I will be going back next time Im in the area.

Incredible, delicious, authentic food! Angie s is up there with some of the top Caribbean places anywhere in the GTA. Staff are also very friendly and welcoming. We had the jerk and oxtail, both were amazing. Easy to see why Angie s has so many 5 star reviews. 10/10 all day

Stopped here yesterday and got their Jerk Chicken and it was fantastic! I will definitely be going back/ recommending this place.

Came across this hidden gem on our way to Blue Mountain for the weekend. I had the most delicious oxtail I can remember having in a long long time. My friends had the curry chicken roti and the other curry goat. They were raving about them - they were well seasoned and filling. So glad we came across this gem and got to support a small business. Will Definitely be back!

Was in the Collingwood area for the weekend and came across this place by accident! Food was amazing and tasted like Jamaican cooking from back home. Spoke to the owner and she said theyve been there for years!

A roti from Angie is nothing like the real thing from Guyana , Trinidad or Barbados. Roti does not have onions,or red peppers. If you ask for a chicken roti it should at least have potato, chicken and channa with other condiments. The curry is not true curry, have not been able to place it.I gave it a 2 star because the bake was nice and the food well cooked

Ive always seen the sign at the side of the road and I finally had the opportunity to try their food. The Jerk chicken was great, good portion size and good price. Quality of the food was comparable to some of the best spots in Toronto. Only thing I wish they had was coleslaw!

I have only tried Angies jerk chicken and jerk beef rotis. They are very good with lots of meat, however I wish the meat was more tender/juicier and they need more potatoes. I found them dry and salty. Beef patties were excellent. I still recommend this place.

Have being coming here for years, good food especially jerk chicken, can be spicey but that is how we like it lol.Its in a very nice area just on the outskirts of wasaga beach. Beautiful sitting area with picnic benchs to sit at. Also a very close drive from stayner if thats where your visiting.

Cute little place to stop on the way home from a long day of skiing. Generous portions and the flavour is on point. Very authentic. The only reason I m not giving 5* is due to the particular dish we had (curry goat Roti and jerk chicken Roti) was salty for my liking. We will defiantly be back tho.

If you are near Wasaga Beach/Collingwood area I highly recommend Angies Place. They have the best homemade roti, and actually it was the best food we had in the area the whole time we were visiting. The ladies that run the shop were very nice and friendly. I will definitely come here every time Im in the area from now on!
