Wow. A few years since playing there. Fantastic shape for a Sept afternoon. Will be back next year. Great place to play
The course was in good shape. One of the better courses that I played this year.
Used to play here 30-40 times a year. Over the past few years though, I became incredibly frustrated with the conditions of the greens - long, shaggy, and not fun to play. Pleasantly surprised today. Greens were more firm, cut and rolled tighter, quick, and actually felt like they rolled true. If conditions were kept like this, I’d be back 40 times a year
Course is well maintained. Very quiet for a Saturday afternoon. Had a fun round.
Course is in good condition. It's quite challenging. Unfortunately it is not available for GPS use on the Golf Canada app which would be really helpful. The person at the pro shop was having a really hard time applying a discount that my group had and then in the end, didn't even apply the discount properly and we paid more than we were supposed to. Overall she just seemed annoyed that we were there. Food at the restaurant was good. Service at the restaurant was ok. Overall I would just need more from them to make the trip from Winnipeg. There are great courses with more pleasant staff much closer to home. Not worth the trip
Amazing course absolutely stunning and challenging, only down side was the local member Don who was disrespectful and harassed us for a couple holes for not shooting at the group in front of us. Special shout out to the staff that told Don to relax.
Great course just south east of the city of Winnipeg. Course is well kept and groomed. Staff is super friendly and helpful. Also having the option of 3 different 9 holes to choose from. I played the Oak and Desert holes. Which were challenging at some of the holes but very entertaining and fun. Will definitely come back to try the Quarry 9 hole course.
Beautiful Golf course. Challenging and fun. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Can't wait to go back
Nice place... Clean & tidy
Course is in great shape.
Course is still in good shape.
Great golf
My favorite golf course in SE Manitoba.
Nice..
Nice friendly staff;great food and very challenging course.
Beautiful course! Restaurant is great too.
Always been wanting to come for a while now and definitely surpassed my expectations. great course to play
I dont golf, but come here to cross country ski. Trails were well groomed. This last time there was someone doing target practice nearby, but I dont think it was close to where we were.
Course is in great shape! Food was good as well.
If you play here you will realize why its a top 3 ranked course in the province
Fun 27
A well designed course that is challenging for good players but is set up that your average golfer will enjoy their round as well.
Course is in great shape. Beautiful day today
Course in great condition.
Course was in very good shape, pace was very good albeit was a Monday.
Understandably they checked coolers. Bit disappointing that we only saw the drink cart on the 2nd and 17th holes. No wonder they have a problem with people bringing their own liquor!
Beautiful course.
Beautiful location and great course
Fantastic shape! Havent golfed there in a few years and was very pleasantly surprised by the shape of the course. Well done guys!!
Hadnt played Quarry in years, still an excellent course and it was in superb condition.
The course is in great shape and all the staff are great to deal with.
The course is very nice. Lots of parking. Good driving range. Cart lady was around in very reasonable times. For locals it is a short drive and it feels like one is out of the city. The Restaurant was good too 4/5 for food. Staff was 4.5/5. Definitely worth a 2 hour drive radius.
The course is in great shape and we had a great day playing the Oak and the Desert courses.
Beautiful course and friendly staff
Course was in excellent shape
Very good course, very good condition
Great course, great service
Excellent coarse to play. Highly recommend
Went late in the season. Still well taken care of. Rough was thick like it should be. Fairways were semi soft and divot easy. Sand was hard though, like birds hill park sand.
Great place to golfing summer and even better to have an Christmas dinner there in th off season
Birdied the final hole for 178. Tough to hit out of 3ft of snow
Beautiful course. Friendly staff
What a beautiful course, I will definitely have to get out and do the Desert course of holes. But the we did do the Oak and Qarry courses and they were great. Really good food at the club house as well.
I am going to give it five stars but its a 4.5 right now in my opinion. A beautiful layout and generally well maintained. The greens were very receptive but were not particularly fast or smooth. The cart paths were in terrible condition. Of course they have had a lot of rain like all the other courses but the paths are the worst I have been on recently. Certainly not consistent with the rest of the facility. All in all a great course and worth the trip !
Course is in decent shape. The fit & finish isnt like it used to be. Staff was very good, including the cart girl. More people that are golfing need to repair their damn ball marks!
The Desert and Oak were in incredible shape
Course (all 3 nines) is in great condition and the pace of play is quite good. Enjoyed our round and finished in under 4 hours. The restaurant is always a good place to end the day. Service is good and the food and beverages are as well. Recommend you give this course a try, the tee boxes set up well for players of all skill levels.
One of the best tests of golf, for all levels of golfer. This course is a must play if you are visiting Manitoba. If youre Manitoban, be sure to visit Quarry a couple of times this year!
Nice golf course. Demanding
I m a low digit single handicap and decided to give the desert/quarry a try from the tips today after never playing this course in my life. at a course rating of 75 and 7100 yards i expected a challenge and definitely got it, It was very windy this morning so not knowing carry yardages to danger or where to miss it was a real grind to even break 80, especially with how much water there is on the quarry nine. With better course knowledge I could have played under the course rating for sure but it s still a test! This is the closest thing to a pga level track Manitoba has to offer
This is my favourite place to play in MB. The courses is always well kept and the tee sheet is always structured in a way that minimizes back logs. The diversity of the 3 separate 9 hole courses is what really elevates this place.
Beautiful and challenging 27 holes.
To bad they didn t leave this 18 holes it once was .. It was a gem the way it was .. But I am sure the other nine was built for corporate services:(
Greens A+
Great course good shape for this time of the year
Great shape for mid May.
Darren is fantastic. Beautiful landscape. Well maintained. Great place to get lessons for kids
Top 5 in Manitoba
Course is in great shape. Challenging.
Very nice course with 3 different 9 hole courses that are all themed. We did the Quarry and Desert which were both very nice. Cant comment on the Oaks course but will definitely be back to try it out as well.
Course was in great shape.
Course is in great shape
Signage to find the course is not good. Cart paths need more gravel and steps leading to some holes need major improvement. Careful when its wet going up those hills to the tees. Greens and fairways are fantastic.
Excellent food, great golf course
One tough course...but remember (play golf it will be fun)
Iraq Baghdad
This golf course is unbelievable. It is so well kept and great to play on. Couldn t help myself taking off my shoes to walk on the greens and fairway so lush.
Ae3some shape.
End of season round and my first time playing. It will definitely not be the last, in fact we are playing again tomorrow. Going to make a point of playing it in the summer. Great, fun track to play. Highly recommended
The course was in awesome shape even for October better than most courses in the summer.
Amazing course that offers you 3 9 hole layouts to play. Play all 3 if you can, if not try to play Oak and Quarry.
Super
This course is almost always in beautiful shape. Regular price is not cheap (by local standards) but there are deals to be had. And their consideration for Jr. golfers is second to none.
Beautiful course would definitely recommend to everyone. They make sure they keep up with appearance. Excellent. We were extremely happy we visited this amazing golf course.
Top notch course and reasonably priced
Perfect place to enjoy a beautiful afternoon.
Beautiful morning to golf
We love going to Quarry Oaks! Its in amazing shape as usual. A few greens have weathered areas but most courses do this year.
Quarry Oaks was pretty good but not great.
Great weather, great staff. Greens a bit rough in places. Managed to land my ball between 4 rocks ?
Greens a little rough
Good food good service
Course is in excellent condition
My husband and son love this golf course. They played today and were impressed with the condition of the course itself. They also were impressed by the tasty food in the restaurant and the good customer service displayed by the server.
Great shape this year 2020
Good course, in great condition. Unfortunately the starter is incapable of spacing out the golf groups, and having a tee time means nothing. I The starter let 2 groups go ahead of me, when I was on time for my tee time, and they were both late. This resulted in a terrible pace of play. No marshal on the course all afternoon. 3 groups at every tee box, and nobody able to finish a hole in 10 minutes.
Excellent quality golf with stunning views, great greens, and a challenge for every level of player. The price reflects the above mentioned quality though :)
Great golf. Watch out for the trees, they eat golf balls. Only problem was that the course drink cart didnt take tap to pay. So odd.
The staff and pros are very friendly and accommodating. Love the Desert course!\8
Good atmosphere and great customer service. Terrific view of golf course.
The courses at quarry oaks never disappoint! Immaculate fairways and greens on a course that offers a good challenge to the average golfer. The clubhouse provides a good selection of meals executed very well. Great course!
Very beautiful course and great staff
Great views as well as great golf. Fairways and greens are well kept aside from a few patchy greens. Carts are nice, staff is friendly and the driving ranges are sweet. Plus the restaurant has fantastic food for after some golf to top it all off!
Quarry Oaks is an challenging Incredible layout, great test of skill and shotmaking . Clear water lakes , undulating greens . # 2 Best golf course in Manitoba.
Great golf course well looked after
Great golf
Great Course
Staff are very friendly and the course is great!
$67 with a shared cart. No marshall in sight. Constant waiting on group in front impacted our game. Course really needs 100 yard distance markers. The many dog legs need sign advising golfers the distance to the corner. Course in very good shape. Greens are Fast.
We had a great banquet.
Fantastic course, that is maintained very well. Beautiful 27 holes, with three sets of 9 featuring different styles. This course provides a great combination of difficulty for intermediate to pro level players. Staff are professional and always helpful, especially when I take my kids out on the course with me.
Best course in the Southeast. All the staff are awesome
Very nice and very friendly staff
Always a fun course to play, great scenery, landscaped and manicured immaculately, great food and friendly service/staff. My only complaints are the lack of yardage signs/hole descriptions on most of the tee box areas. Very frustrating, as not every single player always wants to cary a scorecard to keep consulting. And, lack of any benches anywhere to sit while waiting to tee off (some of us still like to walk the course for the exercise, but a bench or two to rest here and there wouldnt hurt).
A very well-maintained golf course with three varied 9-hole layouts (Oak, Grove, Desert) that helps regulate the pace of play. My only gripe is the overabundance of short par 4s with extreme doglegs. Hitting a 7-iron off the tee on a par 4 is a bit odd. If I left my driver at home it wouldnt be missed at this course.
Always challenging and in good shape
Good golf course
Great place to golf. 27 holes all different. Good good.
Course is in great shape. Greens were nice (quite slow after the dew fell). We were waiting on a group on the front 9 and on the back 9 we let one group play through as they were waiting on us and after that we had the course to ourselves. Going back in a week.
Course is in great shape. Greens are soft fairways are perfect. Staff is amazing!
Really fun and tough
Awesome course. Well maintained
Nice greens
Fantastic course. Fun layout and having 27 holes with different levels of difficulty make for a fun day of golf!
The course was in excellent shape ! Played Oak and Quarry. Not disappointed at all on the course. Just my score and the strong winds. Not the courses fault. Would recommend any time. At least a first time for sure ! Then , who knows ??
Love their coconut shrimp. Yum
Excellent place to play 9, 18, or 27 holes. Each nine hole section the course is entirely different. The ladies league is fun and very well run with expert instruction given to participants.
Nice greens
Lovely course. Played the desert and quarry holes and they were great.
Great shape
Great place to eat and play golf awesome staff and beautiful greens
Food good
Need to golf more. Lol. Great courses.
Well kept with friendly staff
Such a beautiful place love it
Very nice course, well manicured. Course has some difficult holes definitely requires a straight ball. Not a driver friendly course for the most part requires you to play all your clubs in the bag. Friendly staff and very nice practice facilities.
Course is in great shape! The staff is so friendly and helpful! Will definitely be back soon.
My husband and I recently had a chance to go to the couples night. Amazingly organized. Good food, and a great deal!
Great amenities. Well kept course thats well marked and a blast to play.
Very fun and interesting golf course. It has 3 nine holes courses (27 holes). Each nine has a different style. The course was in fantastic condition. The greens were pure but could have been a little bit faster. I was not expecting a good golf course but I was surprised that it was. If this course was closer to the city it would be much more popular. Recommended for the avid golfer and the weekend warrior alike.
Was a great experience.
27 great holes in perfect condition. Every person was helpful and friendly. Wonderful day.
All three nines are fantastic and always in great condition. Love playing at Quarry Oaks!
Huge and Gorgeous!
Beautiful day, but a tough course
I love the fact that they have 3 different 9s. I have played them all many times and there are pros and cons to them all. Oak is as it sounds: shady with many trees. Desert is a little drier with some hard pan / gravel areas that can hinder yous game. Quarry has lots of rock features and some narrow fairways to test your drive. I think the longest par 5 is around 560. I have frequently played all 27 holes, and although a full day - its wonderful to have the variety. Most days the booze cart is out and the service is great. When they arent - ask for a cooler pack, some ice, and take the beer out with you. Most of their carts have an onboard ball washer and club cleaner - although not all = very civilized. They are a bit pricier than many, but it is a more upscale club that a city one for example.
Good food, very nice place with friendly staff!
