Each time we've eaten here the food has been pretty good overall, the part of the experience that lacks is definitely the service and I think it comes from a combination of short staffing as well as poor training practices. The employees are usually not the most presentable, wearing backwards hats and company shirts that look pretty dirty. They also don't wear gloves when handling food a majority of the time, maybe this isn't part of their policy, I'm not sure. But it is at similar restaurants. The staff member helping us today had to ask another employee 3 times about a chicken wing flavour we tried to order. Under the dry wings section, the menu has a dill flavor, and under the sauce section it has fire hot. When we tried to order these flavours, the gentleman asked me "you want Frank's or tobasco sauce?" Well I want whatever your "fire hot" flavour is. Then he said you pick, up to you. So I changed my sauce because I didn't know what I would be getting. I don't just want a dry wing with a cup of tobasco sauce. It's listed on your menu, why can't you give it to me? For the dill flavour, we asked for the dry dill wing. He said you want dill sauce then, and we said well, is it the dry wing? He said "it's same thing". It was not in fact, the same thing. He gave us a creamy dill sauce. This is not a dry wing flavour. We also had to wait because the customer in front of us forgot his card in his car..... Why the employee couldn't just cancel his payment, take our payment, and let us leave.... Is beyond me. Nope. I guess that would be out of order for the employee and confuse him? It's frustrating to watch your food sitting open on the counter waiting, while another customer has to run to the parking lot to get their card when we're standing there ready to go. The food is usually made pretty quick and tastes good, so we have returned in the past despite this.

Clean and New Restaurant, tasty food. The staff were above exceptional. They were so friendly. The veggies looked clean and fresh. The hummus and Falafel was delicious and crunchy. I love going to this location. I'd like to try the poutine fries.

Terrible experience. Took for ever to get the food. The guy behind the counter didnt seem to care. Didnt get everything we ordered, the fries were ice cold. The bread on the doneir tasted old and was hard. When we paid he barked at us for not giving him a tip. One of the worst restaurants in steinbach, for sure.

This place is perfect. I have tried Mid-east food In Saskatchewan. It s so tasty. Surprise is arrived! I can eat it near my home, don t have to go to Winnipeg. Lol.

Amazing food
I ve only had good experiences at Prairie Donair and I ve eaten here a few times. Their food is delicious, and I m always impressed by the fries which somehow manage to stay crispy even after getting cold! The food is flavourful and loaded, albeit messy sometimes. The staff have been nothing but kind to me every time. I will definitely continue to eat here.

The best part of going were the dill pickle wedges. Customer service was lacking. It was our first time there. The one staff took our order and then just stood there without letting us know to move down the line or take a seat or anything. The other staff didnt help with any direction either. After waiting at least 5 minutes, decided to sit and waited another 20 minutes before the food was ready. Overall the food and experience was definitely not worth the price. I would not recommend.
The Chicken Shawarma is delicious
The shawarma here is really just a shawarma styled donair. Still a good meal but not an authentic shawarma. Will be waiting for a shawarma place in Steinbach

Best place to eat falafel wrap, rice bowl, and platters. Must visit. Testy food, supportive staff, and everything.
Despite having 3 shawarma type rotating grill, the name Donair is misleading. I am not sure what it is what they are selling but it is definitely not anything like close to a Döner or Doener. The meat and a weird assortment of vegetables is simply put in cheap wraps. Sorry
I am sorry to say that I had a terrible experience at this place. The service was awful. The attendants were very rude and couldn t communicate well. The problem is that they weren t even trying to communicate. I do not recommend this place.

I was impressed with the service and quality of the food. Very well done and my kids loved it! I enjoyed the spicy one, but next time will need to be very careful ordering it, it was way too hotter than I expected. But I loved it anyways
Our office is just a few minutes away and boy is it hard to resist going every single day for lunch. It s not really donair but more like shawarma. Whatever they re doing, it s amazing. Every single menu item I ve had is outstanding. Steinbach is usually mid when it comes to stuff like this, but DAMN this place is good. Customer service is top notch, super friendly staff.
Stopped in to try something new and support local. Was pleasantly greeted by all 3 men busy working behind the counter. Took little time to receive our food. The food was absolutely INCREDIBLE!. Legit the best chicken bowl Ive probably ever had!. Would highly recommend to everyone. Support local

Fed the family, Greek gyro and Maple, kids had cheese bread and chicken pineapple cheese bread. Everyone loved it, so much flavor and tons of meat! So tasty! You have to try it if youre in Steinbach.
