Excellent food. Highly recommend.

Highly recommend Fresh Grill Kitchen at Stony Plain. Amazing ambience, very clean. Food was superb, I would say 10/10. We tried the Bruschetta, Dill Pickle soup, Sri Lankan Seafood curry and Chicken Souvlaki. Highly recommend if you are visiting with a baby, diaper changing station and high chairs available. We were served by Nivindi and she was awesome ! Will definitely return to try some of the other stuff from the menu.

A great place to eat in downtown Stony Plain. I had the bison burger and it was great!

We had the breakfast. Cooked perfectly and REAL hashbrowns. Server was friendly. My friends daughter joined us briefly and order soup to go. She regularly comes and said the soup is amazing. I recommend coming here

Food was good, the menu was a bit Limited. Decor is dated, this was our first visit and we enjoyed our lunch!

Ordered the Bison burger, without the bun. I received the patti, with cheese wrapped in the foil wrapper. All other toppings were missing, and the cheese was melted to the foil. Needless to say very disappointed.

Food wasnt the greatest by any means. Got shorted on my, breakfast and food was also cold although served very fast. Uncooked bacon. Overcooked sausages. Missing items. In 30 degree weather it seemed like they had the heat on, still Will. Try again, maybe.

Had a really nice breakfast, eggs and potatoes are nicely done. Will come again for sure.

My wife and I came in for dinner, the food the service and the atmosphere were excellent, and will definitely be back again. If you re looking for a great place to have lunch or dinner, look no further. Its a definite must to try .

What a gem of a restaurant, service & food hands down the best we ve had in a long time. If you want great food served by friendly staff this is the place. Thanks Angie and staff for another great meal. Wing Wednesday so so good & the sweet potato fries the best we ve ever tasted.

This place was a mixed bag, when I first came in I was a bit unsure, only because the decor, layout and design was a bit out dated, the service was just ok and the menu was a bit long, BUT... The food was simply fantastic, great fresh ingredients and amazing flavours. I will definitely eat here again when Im in Stony plain.

Ordered short ribs with mashed potatoes. They were absolutely delicious

First time customer. Ordered the cheeseburger to go from the restaurant. Story goes on from here. The restaurant had three tables on a Saturday night so I didn t expect my food order to take long, which it didn t. Arrived home with a burger that looked like someone had dropped it on the floor. It wasn t wrapped very well and the entire burger was a mess to look at. I must add, it was on my seat and treated a like a newborn baby till I got home. What has happened to the quality and consistency of the food these days its becoming very discouraging, and let s not talk about the prices. Sent complaint no reply

We have ordered from here twice on Skip. First time was delicious and we thought it was a fluke. Recently ordered a second time and it was even better (which is rare when ordering in Skip, we find). I got 8oz and 12oz steak. Usually questionable but both times it was cooked perfect medium rare, great smashed potatoes and veggies. They don t have gravy on their menu and have added it complementary both times when asked in the remarks. My wife got the chicken burger and butter chicken, both amazing . Will be ordering from here again and likely going in person.

The food here was excellent, we had the short ribs and the soup , the waitress. (Angela) was very personable and served us with a smile during a busy dinner time . We will be back soon !

Waitress very friendly and actually struck up a friendly conversation with my grandson who never talks to anyone. He had a great time there and it is now his favorite place. Loved how the waitress coaxed him into having a topping on his burger(he eats it plain) and he ate everything on his plate and when he asked for extra fries boy did he get extra fries. With this kind of service we will surely go again. Thanks for bringing him out of his shell for awhile

This is a go-to stop for breakfast or lunch in Stony. They have both a breakfast and lunch menu. Never done supper there. Basic breakfast menu and the Fresh Grill Breakfast is pretty good. Bacon, sausage, eggs fried potatoes and toast and a teeny fruit garnish. I also like their bison burger with fries. They have tasty soups and a good assortment of dishes to choose from. Definitely good, reliable service and predictably good food.

My son took me for lunch yesterday and we loved it so much, we packed up the family and went for dinner tonight. This place has an extensive menu and it was delicious! Fish & chips, butter chicken poutine, braised short ribs (award winning) and the dill sauce/dip is heaven! I m visiting my son and his family and can t wait for my next visit to try some of the other dishes on the menu! I absolutely recommend you try this place you won t be disappointed!! Parking: Lots of street parking in old town Stony Plain.

Both coffee cups had dry drips down the sides. Food was luke warm and there was a piece of egg shell in one. Place was not even busy. SO disappointing as I had heard great things about this restaurant.

Excellent Service. Green onion cake starters were fantastic, classic recipe. Bison steak entrée was beautifully done, perfect medium-rare and full of flavour. They know how to do a hot-chocolate right, too. Spacious and comfortable seating and pleasant environment.

I made a review about for months ago and although we still love the food the move to have some of the vegetables frozen is really disappointing fresh is always better and I hope they go back We had delivery and my goodness it was so good we had Salisbury steak and the Cajun chicken sandwich with Cesar salads Cooked to perfection and the cabbage in the Salisbury steak meal reminded my mom of how her mom used to make it and brought a huge smile to her face. They were also nice enough to call and confirm something for me before it was sent out. And they have gluten free options which is often super hard to find. This place is awesome and we will definitely be getting food from here again. :)

Everything about my visit was amazing, staff were great, friendly and prompt. Food was delicious and they didnt complain when we walk in less than an hour before close.

As always, Fresh Grill did NOT disappoint. There wasnt an empty table! The 2 waitresses did an AMAZING job. Food was delicious!

I was the first one in the restaurant and I had french toast and it blew the top of my head off. The potatoes were crispy on the outside and well-cooked inside. The whipped cream was handmade as was the bumbleberry compote. The french toast was a delight. The staff was pleasant and seemed to be enjoying themselves.

Second time here for breakfast and they seem to have worked the kinks out! Had eggs benny and it was great along with the service.

One of those unexpected meals out. Food was very high end quality and presentation. Facility is low key but clean quiet. Would definately return. Parking: On main street

Gave it a shot after a recommendation and I m glad I did. Bison burger was very tasty and came out fast and hot. Server was attentive and made good suggestions interpreting what I was asking for. Only reason I gave the atmosphere 3 was it was very quiet ( also near close to be fair ) so it s hard to tell. I felt the value was definitely there getting an entree and a beer for 30$ that was made fresh !

The manager of this restaurant went above and beyond to ensure we had the best food for each of us. She was wonderful. The cauliflower jalapeno soup is to die for. Food

Usually very good, but last time we ordered non spicy food and it was very spicy. Could not eat it. Been there quite a few times before and it was always very good.

Finally had a chance to drop in here for a lunch & I was pleasantly surprised. The lentil soup was amazing and the lasagna was the best I have had in a long long time. I highly recomend the Fresh Grill Kitchen. A+++

Great Breakfast!!

Friday night dining. Service was excellent, I had one of the two specials - the salmon. It was really good, tasty and cooked perfectly. Large portion too. The veggies were cooked properly, still firm but tasty, a little cool perhaps. I will be back. Oh, and the prices seem to be on the low side considering the meal size and quality.

Heard good things about this place but sadly disappointed. Service was slow, disorganized & distracted. Took a while to be acknowledged at the entrance, longer to be served at the table & 40 mins to receive a simple breakfast meal which was not as ordered & luke warm. We were not the only table having difficulty getting what was ordered. No, the place was not that busy but now I understand why. Will give this place a miss going forward.

Not sure about the dinner experience, but breakfast was terrible. Cold muffin, eggs Benny were flavorless and so was the backbacon. If you enjoy a system cleanse this would be great. Servers were great tho. Food : 1/5 |

Awesome food and great service

Overall we enjoyed the food here. Service was slightly awkward but still good enough. My main complaint was that on their menu it clearly says that pasta and risotto are served with garlic toast, yet they still made my girlfriend pay for hers. I was not aware of this until after we left because she didnt feel comfortable to say anything there, but that definitely should not have been charged for. Please update your menu to say add garlic toast for extra. Otherwise again everything else was fairly good.

Just had lunch at Fresh Grill. Had the grill burger. Hands down the best restaurant burger Ive had in a long time. Their bacon jam is to die for and the burger was crazy juicy. The poutine was super good as well. I think theres a seasoning on the fries thats awesome and they have the BEST gravy and cheese curds. Husband had the grill Cajun chicken burger and said it was delicious. was happy with the prices and service was great also. They have a chef thats worked around the world and you can taste it. Most definitely going back. Highly recommended

Wife and I had lunch there today. Smelled fantastic as soon as we walked in the door. The food did not disappoint. Great service the food was hot and delicious. I would suggest that everyone try the cauliflower jalapeno cheddar soup perfect combination of flavors.

The food is phenomenal- so we ll seasoned. The hummus is divine. I can t say enough good things about this place. My daughters Mac and cheese was made from scratch and so good. Will definitely drive out to Stony from Edmonton just for the food. The service was also fantastic.

Stopped to take a break from a busy day. This is a great place to grab lunch. The place is clean and has the perfect charm matching the main street vibes of stony plain. Service was friendly, fast and unrushed (didnt feel like they were going to pack us out the door once we paid). Servers were Penny & Marie, they worked well helping each other out and had great charisma. This made it so wait times were pretty much non existent and food came out hot! Thanks we will be back soon.

I have been to the restaurant several times over the past month. The service and food was good with service. Last week I went for lunch, a young dark man held the door open for me and then he walked to the kitchen leaving me STANDING at the door. A man came in behind me, he was given a seat and a menu immediately. A FEMALE waitress finally came and seated after I stood at least 5 minutes waiting I am really considering if I will go back to this restaurant

Great bison steak!

The internationally experienced chef creates some of the best food in the area! Everything we ve tried is amazing - from the steak, short ribs, burgers (beef, bison, salmon) and the breakfast items yum. Happy to support another top notch restaurant that isn t a chain :)

Tried this gem of a place out... WOW!!! Atmosphere was wonderful, service was very quick, food was ordered and arrived Hot and Fast... Dining in was great! Well lit, comfortable, food was delicious, and you werent competing with loud music while enjoying your meal and a conversation... Highly recommended

Amazing place to go and eat

We were pleasantly surprised at just how good the food is. It is a very small town friendly decor but the food is as good as anything you ll find in a big city restaurant and the portions were generous. The service was also excellent.
