12 Sheep St, Stratford-upon-Avon CV37 6EF, United Kingdom
Cosy restaurant, with eclectic dining and modern seating, in a 16th-century house with wood beams.
Very nice staff which makes all the difference. The cleanliness of the whole restaurant was superb. Highly recommend coming here. The food was great I had goats cheese starter and then the lamb rack. All was good.
We enjoyed our Al fresco lunch so much yesterday . Cosy throws supplied to keep the chill off and lovely curtious service. Extremely fresh produce being served and a fabulous wine list . It is refreshing to see these standards, especially in a tourist town , most enjoyable meal out thank you , well done lambs 10/10
One of the best little restaurants I have been in for a long time. Set 2 course lunch at 21.50 was great. We were seated and served quickly and efficiently. The waitress was exceptional with friendliness and forward thinking (things like checking if coffee served with or after dessert). Food was high quality French based cuisine. I had a cajan chicken, and my partner had sea bream, mine with thin fries and a small side salad. Desserts were a big slab of sticky toffee pudding, and a creme brulee. Presentation could have been a little better for both, but tasted wonderful.
A very impromptu visit, but was offered a table! A lovely building, excellent food and service. Would highly recommend
The food was good, though it didn’t quite live up to the expectations set by the price. While the dishes were tasty and well-presented, they lacked that extra something to make them truly exceptional. The atmosphere of the restaurant was lovely, providing a comfortable and enjoyable setting for our meal. The staff was attentive and friendly, making sure we had everything we needed throughout our visit.
Seriously generous and tasty portions in a very atmospheric building, with low ceilings and uneven floors. Despite the setting, the cooking is quite modern, and the size of the desserts would put any London restaurant to shame. Our hostess was Klaudia, and she was really great 😊
We had an excellent lunch here today! Why I gave only 4* was because my some of my lamb were a bit chewy. The lamb's liver was excellent, according to my husband , but the bacon wasn't crispy and not enough on his plate. The plated beef looked really good. Soups were great, so were the sweets.
Excellent range of food and drinks. There was a wide variety of choices on the menu including some choices you don't see everywhere. Very much enjoyed my dessert of marbled chocolate mousse cake, I have a very sweet tooth, so always enjoyed a lovely pudding. Would recommend booking in advance as it was busy when we went.
Excellent food and friendly service for a party of six. Nothing felt rushed even though busy Christmas. All of the food was great quality, thoroughly recommend.
Lovely birthday treat!
A wonderful meal after a matinee at the RSC. Beautiful timber framed building and great service.
I love this restaraunt, great staff fantastic food and wonderful surroundings
Will definitely come again. Everything was great.
A lovely evening Amazing food, great service and a lovely relaxed atmosphere What more could you want
Great food, lovely atmosphere and friendly staff
Have visited this restaurant on a number of occasions the staff were so friendly the food was amazing as always and will definitely be going again cant wait
Great food, great service, had such a lovely meal tonight and would definitely recommend this restaurant
Visited for lunch today with two daughters, for my birthday treat. All three of us chose Pave of Lamb. Serving staff were pleasant and efficient. The vegetables (good variety - 6, and generous portions) were very nicely cooked, but we were all disappointed with the lamb, especially mine, which was fatty/sinewy and too rare. (Personally, we should have been asked how we would have preferred it cooked, as we would have been for a beefsteak). The cut was not a pave, but several pieces more suited to a casserole or stew. We did mention this at the end of our meal to the server, who said she would feed back to the chef. The star of the show sadly wasnt.
Absolutely fantastic excellent we have been going there and the sister Vintners for thirty years and never had a problem attention to detail and service brilliant, we need them to move to Cornwall, I did a fifty mile detour on Sunday for lunch because I was worth the extra drive thank you
Excellent food and brilliant service.
The food was ok , put it was over priced for what we got. £28 for a 8 ounce steak thought it would have £18 instead. Dont think we go back there again.
Best Cajun chicken Ive ever had. The blackberry Eton mess was perfect. Would recommend and definitely visit again if in the area
Such a lovely ,quirky building and the food was pretty brilliant too !
My ribeye steak was lovely but my wifes sea bass was so small and dry! Shes a petite lady but the fish was hardly a main course. Up to now we have always enjoyed Lambs as we are locals but she was thoroughly underwhelmed on this occasion.
Calves liver was amazing. Really great service. And really great food
Food excellent although a little pricey compared to the other similar restaurants around. Service was good although because it was busy getting a servers attention wasnt always easy
Excellent food
Food is nice but not exceptional. Good atmosphere, but not at all set up for people with limited mobility (2 flighta of awkward stairs for the toilet). Server was lovely and service generally good but one drink was forgotten about. Wheelchair accessibility: There is none. Theres a shallow step up to the ground floor, 2 further floors of dining area and toilets only on the top floor.
First visit to Straford and had an evening meal here. It was fantastic. The food was incredibly well prepared, fresh and interesting. I had the lamb chops and they were expertly cooked and slightly pink. I can say they were the best lamb chops I have ever had. And the potato accompaniment was unusual and delicious. My wife had a vegetarian option which again was interesting and delicious. Staff were excellent and amusing. The building is wonderful, lots of levels and rooms, although we dined outside.
Price but good food.
What a gem of a restaurant. Serving mostly British food done well. Lovely staff and a cosy atmosphere. Highly recommended. Food
Great food. Wonderful service.
An excellent pre-theatre menu. I went with the fried halloumi, followed by sea bass and finished with pear and almond tart with creme anglais (posh Bakewell tart with custard, but when it tastes this good can be forgiven ;-) washed down with a marvellous rosé.
It could be great - the chefs know what theyre doing. But crispy duck salad, while fabulous on one level, was just leathery flesh that had been reheated once too often. And a great pear and almond tart in delicious créme anglaise was spoiled by being heated to an ungodly temperature in a microwave. Pity.
It was a pre-theatre visit so there was limited time to soak up the atmosphere but the surroundings were pleasant. Service was very attentive and friendly and the food was delicious. Food
Exquisite. Great food and very friendly service.
From the moment you enter the restaurant, you cannot fail to be impressed. You are greeted with a warm welcome from the staff. The building is incredible with some very quirky features. The food was absolutely delicious and couldnt fault a thing. The presentation was excellent and food cooked to perfection. The service was first class, they were very efficient, but you werent rushed. Would definitely recommend and cant wait to return.
Beautiful food and ambiance. It was perfect and we enjoyed everything about this restaurant. The service was excellent as was the food. I would highly recommend Lambs and will certainly return if ever I m in Stratford-upon-Avon again.
Love this place really lovely team working here with beautiful service and high quality food
Always our first choice for a superb lunch before the theatre. Three courses of deliciousness will see us through till breakfast! Super service too.
The food was excellent, everything we ordered was perfect. The service was brilliant.
Great find in Stratford. Separate gluten free menu with plenty of choice. Beautifully cooked food, friendly staff and reasonably priced for the quality of ingredients. Highly recommend. Dietary restrictions: Separate gluten free menu
Lovely restaurant, great service from the staff, not rushed and the right timings and attention given. We both had the fix price lunch menu, all the food was really tasty and homemade and served piping hot and fresh. Decent price too. We will be back.
Highly recommend, child and dog friendly they served my dog with water and treat as well. The food was amazing Food
We absolutely loved this old cottage restaurant. We went there twice for dinner we tasted the rack of lamb the rebeye the seabass and many more everything was cooked at perfection made from scratch with high sourced produce, service was attentive and the ambience was lovely and cosy. We will definitely be back once in Stratford upon Avon.
What a cracking little restaurant Lovely food Lovely building and nice atmosphere with really friendly staff Will definitely visit again Food : 5/5 |
Great food and very friendly service.
Absolutely amazing
Lamp and desert is good.
Ate here on Tuesday evening before the England game and opted for the 3 course pre theatre menu. Everything about this place is quality from the old, atmospheric decor to the excellent customer service and top notch food! Drinks were top quality too and washed down a very enjoyable meal nicely. Will definitely book Lamb s again on my return to Stratford!
Five of us ate here (3 adults and two children) and had a fantastic meal. Service was excellent and the food delicious. We had lamb, steak, chicken and hake, couldn t fault any of it. Would definitely recommend it to others. Food
Stumbled upon this beautiful place whilst walking through Stratford Upon Avon trying to find somewhere to have lunch with my mum and Dennis the dog. Stunning little heated outside terrace invited us in by advertising dog friendly on the board outside. What a find! Friendly, welcoming staff showed us to a table, put on the heaters, gave us blankets if we were cold (it was raining outside) and got us a drink and brought Dennis a bowl and treats too. We had the lunch sandwiches which were amazing and very good value, the staff were very attentive - overall I can t fault this place. I only realised when I went inside how big the restaurant was and so warm and friendly. Lovely gem of a place - a must visit if you re in the area.
Good food. Great service. Probably the best coffee in Stratford.
Average food and quality, decent price , staff friendly but not attention was given, as I stand now at the table after 40 min in the restaurant, none of the staff has asked how is food and how we feel after seeing them going to everyone else to ask and look after. Can it be because we were the only table not speaking english...? Not coming back for sure and not recomending to friends
Great restaurant, fantastic food and service
Absolutely fantastic food! Would highly recommend it.
Pleasant atmosphere, good service and well prepared dishes. Lamb Rump and the fish of the day (halibut) were excellent choices. The dishes were very tasty. The restaurant has several environments and was an excellent gastronomic experience. I recommend!
It was a wonderful restaurant. Historical interior, delicious food, and excellent service.
We went there for a pre-theatre birthday dinner. There were several of us meeting up and I was concerned with the timing due to the theatre booking, but the staff were superb, flexible and attentive but not overly so and the food arrived in good time. Lovely environment and delicious mains. I really appreciated that the wine was all organic as well. You helped make a special evening for us all, thank you.
Not the cheapest place in town but quality comes at a price. Consistently good and I ve been going on and off for over 15yrs. All my customers I bring are not disappointed. Vegetarian options: My wife is a veggie head, I wouldn t bring her here as it would be a waste of a good menu. This place is clearly for people who enjoy the full range of foods available.
Very tasty food!
We had a delicious meal for my husbands birthday over the weekend. They made us feel very welcome and the staff were excellent!
gorgeous food and friendly service. HIGHLY Recommended.
Lovely dinner with friends before the theatre. Candle in my cake for my birthday was a lovely touch! Food
A delicious meal at Lambs, the sea bream was cooked very well and tasted great. Good service too and ambience. The food is of a very high quality and good value for money, especially the set menu. Would visit again!
I genuinely enjoyed the experience here. The bread was great. If you can, get the duck entree, it is legit. Kid-friendliness: We were there with a 12 and 14 year old. They were not out of place there.
Great food and professional and knowledgable staff. The desert was excellent.
We had dinner here while visiting Stratford-upon-avon. Both Cajun chicken and duck dishes were very good. My only complaint was the Cotswolds bread sides/appetizer, they looked like just day old cold bread. Not something u expect paying almost 5 pounds for a few slices.
Went for a birthday lunch, and had an excellent meal. The waiting staff were attentive and personable. It was a nice touch putting a candle in the birthday boys pudding!
We have eaten here several times over a few years, before we go to the theatre. Last night was very disappointing, especially so as it was also our wedding anniversary. We had the liver, which we have had previously, the portion size was poor compared to previous visits and it wasnt as well cooked and I dont mean well done! I had the cheese board and again the amount was paltry. Three small pieces of cheese, the blue wasnt too bad but the other two, whatever they were, were completely non-descript. Such a big let down.
Loved it. We talked all the way home about how much we enjoyed the food. Still thinking about it now.
Fabulous place to eat. Friendly, attentive staff and incredible food. When we arrived and were shown to our table it was very warm. Without asking, the waitress showed us to another table by an open window. Very thoughtful. Food : 5/5
Lunchtime meal, lovely, friendly staff
Lovely place, friendly service, good drinks options, great food, amazing value on the early bird menu too - thanks
Amazing place food out of this world
The food, service and ambience were immaculate. Excellent value for money too. The staff were incredibly friendly and skilled at what they do. Perfect pre-show dining as it s literally around the corner from the RSC too. Thank you!
Excellent!
My family and I came here for my sisters birthday and they were brilliant. The food was definitely worth the price and the service was immaculate. They were incredibly accommodating and made the evening feel extra special.
The best rack of lamb Ive had for years! Service was charming and the food lovely throughout and the sun shone too!
Absolutely lovely establishment. Food and service is faultless x
Just had a fabulous lunch time meal with friends. Excellent food and wine with impeccable service. The price was very reasonable. Great atmosphere Thoroughly recommend
Amazing food
Good food and great staff
Great restaurant, very accommodating. Staff are super friendly. The beef carpaccio was light and tasty, paired with the South African Pino then followed by the herb crusted lamb and juicy duck, really good food, definitely will be coming back.
Just excellent
Nice restaurant, very nice meal, easy to make a reservation, very prompt and pleasant service. Our table was a little exposed, being in a gangway on the way to the rest-rooms, but thats a minor negative. Generally a very pleasant experience!
Food experience was great.
To be honest, this is one of the best places I have eaten in England. We walked in and after us people started coming, a lot of them The service is top notch, everyone is very polite and kind and very fast We ordered 4 dishes, risotto, fish, steak and of course lamb and it was incredibly delicious. If you want to eat delicious food, then you definitely need to come here!!
Food very tasty and well presented. Service excellent.
Thoroughly enjoyed a meal at Lambs last night. A lovely ambiance. A very good value set menu and great to still be on offer early Saturday evening. Food all delicious, seemed good quality and generous portions. I am a coeliac and good gluten free options. Would highly recommend.
Excellent food and service
Beautiful food with a lovley setting, wonderful staff very friendly and knowledgeable......in fact definitely the best rack of lamb Ive ever had the whole experience was 10/10..........
Just had amazing food we had lamb shank and the Cajun chicken beautifully cooked to perfection it was food to die for its Tuesday night and totally full we sat upstairs great ambience and service Stratford is very lucky to have this we will go here next time we are in Stratford
We had the most beautiful wonderful dining experience, the service was par excellence and the food fabulous. I am a retired chef and I know when it is good wholesome food. Well done and the staff so well trained and just so full of smiles. absolutely fabulous thank you. Vegetarian options: There were selections and also gluten-free
A warm, friendly welcome on this first visit in many years... was followed up by consistently efficient, very professional, smiling service from a young team impressively confident in what they were about. The dining atmosphere in this low ceilinged Tudor building in the centre of Stratford gets a head start from the authentically attractive period surroundings, but supported unobtrusively by the team, quietly ensuring that we guests are very well looked after... including prompting one very tall guest at an adjacent table to duck in time not to crack his head on the ceiling beams. There was a fairly extensive menu to tempt us, including a fish section and reasonable vegetarian options, alongside very well presented steak, lamb, and liver staples. My only quibble might be the description of a starter as mushroom arancini. The Sicilian arancini is a classic dish that has been enthusiastically taken up in recent years, but Lambs very tasty effort looked much more like bonbons than the pear-shaped rice dish that would have matched our expectations. A minor carp... our meal was beautifully cooked and presented. There is a first class, not overpriced wine list too, including a good range of wines by the glass. Any wine list that includes the truly superb rioja from Marques de Murrieta deserves to be drunk from. Copiously if you can afford it. Lambs is highly recommended... I look forward to future visits.
Incredible meal!
Good roast and good service! Solid choice in Stratford for a roast lunch but not the best we ve had (at the same price point) and won t be in a rush to go back. We were sat on the second floor not too far from the bathrooms on the floor above, and there was a strong smell of bathroom cleaning products which was a little off putting while eating our lunch. FYI they don t take Amex (unlike many other restaurants in Stratford).
We were just looking for somewhere for lunch and happened on Lambs. What luck, food, and service superb. I had the rack of lamb, some of the best lamb Ive had in a long time. Great. Food : 5/5 |
The sticky toffee pudding was to die for!
Excellent
Great food and friendly staff. We sat in an outside area which was covered and had a heater as we had our dog. The 2 and 3 course set menus are very good value.
We were a party of six celebrating my birthday. The menu was extensive with everyone having difficult decisions over what to choose between. Having made our choices we all had excellent meals, cooked to perfection. The serving staff were attentive and worked very hard without appearing stressed or rushed. Overall the dining experience could not have been better.
Very nice atmosphere nice food only the person who served us was ..not the best Food : 5/5
Booked a table for a 60th birthday celebration dinner at Lambs and from booking to leaving, the whole experience was fantastic, the staff are so friendly and delivered a very professional service. The food was absolutely excellent and the venue creates a very welcoming ambience. My partner and guests were delighted to have spent such a special occasion at such a wonderful restaurant. Thank you to Lucy , Claudia, Charlotte, and all the staff at Lambs.
Had the lamb here for lunch got to say Ive never had a meal like it proper portions of top quality meat and vegetables cooked to perfection, friendly staff, great atmosphere
The atmosphere is very good and the building is very distinctive I saw many tables celebrating anniversaries There is also a thoughtful little card on the table to give blessings. The lamb chops are also so tender and delicious The steak is okay, I prefer the side with sweet potatoes Crispy and delicious
We go to lambs quite often and are never disappointed. Always great food and service
Lovely Sunday lunch!
I had friends over last weekend and took them to Lambs and we were not disappointed! The service was impeccable and the food was unbelievable. Even my vegetarian friend had a good amount of choice (which was a concern in a restaurant called Lambs ! The wine choice has something for every budget and we had a thoroughly lovely time. Considering the quality of food and service the price was extremely reasonable. I have to stop myself going back every Sunday!
Normally good food, but be aware if your not happy and complain YOU WILL BE BANNED, we went every week and alway had a good meal, until we had one we wasn t happy with and complained, didn t let it upset us and went back the following week as normal only to be told we were banned as we had complained ?? Obviously don t need the business, but plenty of other good restaurants to eat at in Stratford, so there loss we still had a good meal elsewhere
The staff and food were excellent. The atmosphere upstairs was much more ambient than that of downstairs. It felt a little bit like we were fishes in a bowl being watched. As soon as your food was done the plate was gone before I had time to finish chewing the food in my mouth. It felt a bit rushed rather than a relaxed dining experience.
Have been to Lambs and their other restaurants on Sheep Street many times. The main course was meagre and insubstantial in volume but tasted quite good. Not enough of it. Im a peasant from the North and northerners like good value for money, probably because, unlike the typical demographic of Stratford, we dont live off inheritances and trust funds and gifted houses. It was £70 for two main courses and two drinks. I dont know if thats good or bad. The atmosphere is great and the waitresses are accommodating and pleasant. I think this is a good place for the elite to dine.
Came across Lambs whilst looking for somewhere to have an early evening meal. We had 2 dogs with us so sat in the lovely covered garden. What a find, super friendly service and very good food, nicely cooked and presented. Great menu choices. Dogs got water and plenty of bic bics too
Lovely
Excellent lunch, well prepared. Surroundings quiet and comfortable. My young granddaughter was with us, the childrens menu was very complimentary to the quality of the place.
Best restaurant in Stratford-upon-Avon, always come here when we visit - started with the beef carpaccio which was to die for, and then the lamb which was perfect, cant rate it highly enough!!
Great food nice ambiance great staff
Its note cheap, but the food is really good.
Impressive at this price point. Located in an historic building on Sheep Street, just a short stroll from the RSC, we stopped here for an unplanned early evening light meal after it was recommended by two separate people. My sea bass fillet with wilted spinach, basmati rice and a mild curry sauce was excellent as was my wifes fillet of john dory with samphire, asparagus and potatoes. Decent portions and nicely presented. Add in very good, friendly service and a good selection of beers and alls well. Will revisit next time were in Stratford
Enjoyed my dinner, selected classic British dishes done very well, though one small wafer of pancetta hardly constitutes liver & BACON. Crayfish entrees & Eton Mess were well done.
We sat outside to enjoy a nice dinner and while looking at the menu (lovely choice), got blasted by loud music and got up to leave. We explained why we were leaving, but the waiter didn t suggest that they might turn it down.
Food was excellent: Flat Iron steak and chocolate mousse cake were very good. Would recommend. Try and book first on busy days though! Food
Great to walk in and have a tasty meal for a reasonable cost
Excellent food, great service, recommended
Excellent food and great service.
This was by far one of the best roast dinners I have had in a long time. The service was excellent and the atmosphere was very nice.
Fantastic food service location
Terrific!!! we had the lamb. It was to the point. And the service was also helpful and friendly.
A perfect evening! The food was excellent and the service attentive. Well recommended.
Lovely early evening Dinner with the Team. Great service, Great food. Lovely evening.
The food and atmosphere was great
Love this restaurant, I am a regular here. Staff are great, menu is always excellent, never disappointed. Excellent restaurant!
Delicious food with outstanding customer service. Staff clearly knew what we ordered and deliver the food in the right order. She was very patient to walk through the menu with us.
Good food, friendly staff. Really enjoyed my evening there and would recommend.
Great place ,chose to sit in the courtyard lovely spot .Waiter was friendly, helpful, and attentive. Food was excellent also had a separate gluten free menu which is always very much appreciated. Would highly recommended .
This was without exception our favourite place to eat. Its a lovely resturant offering fine dining that was delicious and beautifully presented. Staff were professional and attentive. We would highly recommend eating here.
Really unique place, the service was great and quick and the meals were fantastic!
Great food (lamb) and great service by Anna. Recommended if you want to have a good meal downtown Stratford-upon-Avon.
The food was very good as was the service. Great value in this establishment!
Weve eaten here over the last thirty years and never had a bad meal.
Fixed price pre theatre menu so useful. Ate well. Service timely without any rushing. Good place to know.
Amazing atmosphere, exceptional food and the staff are friendly and professional. Next time we are in this area we will be coming back again. Thank you
Gorgeous food, superb service, beautiful surroundings. We took family here when they visited us this weekend (we have been a few times before) and they loved their lunch. Reasonably priced for the quality.
Absolutely stunning restaurant. We had 3 courses and all were delicious, clearly made from good quality ingredients. Set menu was such good value.
Excellent place highly recommend.
Drinks. Great service & atmosphere. Definitely worth a visit. Recommend
Fantastic lamb in a historical building. Recommended
The food was beautiful, so well presented and cooked to perfection, couldnt find any fault anywhere.I would warn you be sure to reserve a table very rare to get seated otherwise, I would highly recommend.
Nice food, beautiful place.
Beautiful venue, lovely friendly staff and the food was delicious. Was £65 for a couple work win and a desert which for the food and venue we thought was great value, would definitely come again.
Good food - we had the 6oz steak frites and the fish of the day (halibut), recommend both. Wonderful service, staff were really friendly and attentive without making us feel rushed. A good selection of wine, with many served both by the glass and in 500ml carafes. Wouldn t recommend the table olives, hardly a reason not to dine here though. Overall, recommended!
Only popped in for coffee and cake. Staff very helpful, polite, happy and attentive. Will go back to try their menu. Food
Just five minutes walk from the theatre this restaurant is a gem. Food was excellent, so much so after the olives we totally forgot to photograph the meals (which were lovely). Definitely one to return to.
Beautiful old building full of charm and character. The food was exquisite and the service was fantastic! Would go back.
The service was friendly and efficient. The food was tasty and different in a good way. The prawns were delicious but tonights fish special halibut with roasted fennel was the best bit of fish i have had in a long time. Lovely meal, thank you.
Most enjoyable
We dined outside. Staff friendly and attentive, food was nice from the fixed lunch menu, though nothing blew me away.
The food was delicious and staff friendly, food was quick to arrive. And the atmosphere was relaxing.
An absolutely wonderful meal - cannot fault food or service which included catering for the dogs. Made our adversary even more special! Food
Seems this place gets booked up so we were lucky to get in. We both had the roast beef, I usually take a photo but it looked so good I tucked right in. One of the best Sunday lunches Ive had.
Lovely meal, friendly and efficient service. The food was delicious and it was nice to be able to have 3 courses and leave satisfied yet not overindulged. The check was also very reasonable given the food and wine that we had enjoyed
Lovely environment! Value for money was good, will definitely be going again!
Delicious food chosen from the set menu. Sat outside in the courtyard area which was covered and looked newly decorated. It was a warm evening but noticed that they had heaters and blankets for cooler evenings. The staff were very attentive.
Had a fabulous meal here. I had the crispy sweet chilli pork salad, which was very nice. I followed with the special of pan-fried lemon sole, again very nice. The mussels here are a must. Our dinner companions had them, and they were huge. I would heartily recommend this place.
The food was good and we liked what what we ordered. They kind of gave us the worst table even when others were empty. They said all tables were reserved but rather turned 2 tables in from of us while other were empty giving other guest a choice . If you a person of colour think again and I say this because they made us sit in a section which was in the corner and had no patrons for 40 mins of peak lunch time . So much for tables being reserved.
Lovely food with good service
Been 3 times. The service is always efficient and helpful. Food is excellent value. Good quality. Not aiming for Michelin stars just tasty well presented decent sized meals. Beautiful building inside and out Food : 4/5
Our go to restaurant in Stratford upon Avon for a pre- or post-theatre dinner (or any other occasion really!) Excellent food, service and atmosphere. Food
One of the best restaurants in UK
Friendly staff and very good food in a lovely old building. I ate far too much as it was all good.
Great food, drinks and excellent service.
Lovely place. Delicious food.Great service. Reasonably priced. Highly recommend
We have eaten here a few times now and have always had excellent food and service. The menus is varied with plenty to choose from.
Lovely food in a beautiful building with efficient and friendly staff. What more could you want? Food
Sunday lunch was superb, excellent, food, service Highly recommend Food
Great find on Google. Can highly recommend this restaurant. Cosy, romantic with a great atmosphere.
Excellent fine dining couldnt fault anything. Would definitely go back
We had a lovely dinner at the Lambs with various mains, starters and deserts. Everything came as a small surprise but was really delicious. The service was very friendly and helpful. We will go there again!
We were looking for somewhere nice to eat in Stratford-upon-Avon and this restaurant had good reviews, so we decided to give it a try. The restaurant is beautiful inside and out and from the moment we walked through the door the staff all looked after us brilliantly. We ended up ordering 3 courses and I can honestly say this was the best meal I have ever tasted. Everything was absolutely perfect and delicious. I cant wait to visit again. Highly recommended.
Really wanted to visit when I read some of the reviews and it absolutely lived up to expectations. Simple superb, and I wish I lived closer!
First class. Food always amazing, we visit Stratford upon Avon once a year and we always eat at Lambs. I suggest you book in advance as it is very popular
Who doesn t visit Lambs when going to Stratford, such a beautiful building and you can feel the history whilst soaking up the atmosphere- oh and the food well go try for yourself you won t be disappointed
Food was great. Lamb was excelent.
Lovely meet up with friends. Warm and welcoming. Food was delicious and beautifully presented.
Lovely meal would go again
Has to be the best restaurant in Stratford and we have eaten in a few..
