We had absolutely unexpected bad treatment! By entering and first greeting this restaurant, just because I was wearing Hijab dressing, I ve been informed that this restaurant is not a halal place! Even though we didn t ask anyone whether this place is halal or not!

The food at this place is amazing, the best kunefe Ive ever tasted - you must try it if you come here. The waiters and waitresses are very kind , the atmosphere is lovely , lit up beautifully by Turkish lamps. Great place!

This was an exceptional meal, we had the mixed started which was a great selection and we enjoyed it. The mains were brilliant too and were cooked to perfection

A rainy Saturday in Stratford brought me in, and Im so glad I stopped to look. The lunch special menu was delicious and very reasonably priced. The staff were attentive and welcoming, the food was plentiful and delicious. I didnt take any photos because I was so keen to tuck in and make a start. Very highly recommend!

This was one of our best dining experiences by far. Our waiter, Ali, couldn t have been more personable and friendly. He taught us how to pronounce a number of dishes, helped make excellent choices and was very gracious. We could not have been happier with our choices. Highly recommended!!

My wife just murmured to me that she wondered if we might move to a different table. The waiter must have overheard and immediately offered us a choice of other tables. This was just the beginning of far better service than at many fancier restaurants.

Lovely restaurant, food was good, small portions for price and no the meat is NOT halal, I was told 2 months ago when I paid a visit that the meat is no longer halal. Can restaurant management confirm this please. Otherwise great atmosphere.

Dined on a Saturday night as a walk in. Decor is lovely, homely. Some Turkish restaurants can be quite clinical but this one lovely. Lots of waiting staff but service was a bit slow/inattentive and we had to ask for things a few times. Food was lovely and reasonably priced @ £20 for a main. Would recommend.

Id been looking at this place for a year or two, but never quite made it over. We finally did and it was well worth it. Very delicious and fresh tasting food, good side portions, affordable and lovely ambience. Great staff too. A new favourite.

Lovely Turkish restaurant on the Main Street in Stratford. Easy parking available in the car park located 50m from the restaurant. Nice atmosphere and decor. Lots of space available for dining- we walked in without a reservation on a weekday evening. Good selection on the menu. Very tasty food. I would recommend the meat moussaka. The Kunefe (dessert) was outstanding- made fresh to order. Slightly expensive. Servings could be a little bigger. All meat is halal.

They say its one of the top places to eat in Stratford ! It is wonderful brilliant Turkish food I would go as far as saying outstanding, spot on service and friendly staff. You must give it a go if you are in Stratford.

Visited Stratford Upon Avon for first time..wanted something different wow this is a brilliant restaurant fresh chicken shish was delicious with a lovely fresh feta salad with it with a lovely dressing..wasn t expecting the food to be so good!! I m a real foodie and hate eating rubbish every now and again you stumble upon a gem! this is one of them!

Used to be good now it has plummeted downhill. The food quality and the service has decreased severely over the years. Also misleading menu which makes you pay extra for bread although it is included with the starters as it states on the menu. Falafel was rock hard and the overall quality of the food has immensely declined, I understand if it was busy but we have visited on a very quiet Sunday evening. Service is next to non with and did not make us feel welcome. Would I visit again? No!

We reserved a table for a special birthday recently and I must say the service from start to finish was outstanding and exceeded expectations. When we arrived there was a complimentary bottle of red on the table which we didn t expect. The food is true and authentic Turkish. We were welcomed by the owners and all The staff were very attentive and friendly. We will definitely book again, I can t recommend this restaurant enough.

We had been before and had a lovely lunch but all I can say is its a very different experience in a busy evening. First of all our starters came out wrong but we just ate them not to make a fuss. We than sat there for ages whilst tables got served around us, the waitress then asked us if we would like the bill, we said we were still waiting for our main. They then bought out one main that was correct and another that was incorrect so it was returned. When it came to the bill they got it all wrong, not only charging us for our bottle of wine but the bottle of wine the table next to us drank. We refused to pay the service and couldn t wait to get out.

My wife and I had a great dinner here with a tasty warm Mezze platter. The calamari was exquisitely. We both enjoyed our entrees and ended up sharing them. Great experience!

We went here tonight. 2 adults and 3 kids. Me and my daughter had kebabs and they were very tasty and very filling. And in comparison to todays takeaway kebab prices they were reasonable. The childs plates were a very good size too. I would highly recommend

First table they put me on wasnt comfortable so they gave us another area to sit which was good, their home tomato chutney was off the hook and super tastey. Really quiet ambience for going on a Saturday early dinner. Friendly staff, I asked for recommendations and received genuine responses. Food was incredible and flavoursome! Good customer service just a little slow with getting their attention but not a deal breaker! If you have a sweet tooth their baklava was worth it!

Very pleasant pre-theatre meal. We chose a few veggie starters to share to make an excellent meal. Very flexible so you can order as much or as little as you want Vegetarian options: Ideal place for vegetarians or for a party including vegetarians.

A revelation! Having previously lived in turkey. The food was so authentic, no doner kebab here, but delicious chucks of lamb grilled over charcoal, which melted in the mouth, quality. Complimentary flat bread and dips.

Fantastic Turkish restaurant with lovely cold metze starters and the mains were fab. The king prawn casserole was lush. The atmosphere was relaxed and very friendly.

Nice food and quick service. Lovely decor in the restaurant. A bit pricey but food was tasty. Dont like the fact they charge a service charge for bringing your food! The prices for the food are already quite expensive! People should not be afraid to ask for the service charge to be removed!

Fantastic food and really impressive service, and perfect atmosphere. (They played music, but at a volume where you could have a conversation.) They offered the use of a wheelchair ramp to my friend before even being asked. Definitely recommended.

An excellent dining experience.

We walked in without booking and were seated immediately. For starters, we had the calamari and whitebait. The mains were chicken topkapi and lamb shish with yoghurt. All dishes were superb. We loved the interior of the restaurant. The table was a bit sticky, and the table next to us was the same. Perhaps paper table covers should be used instead of the sticky placemats.

I ate here three times during last two months as Its halal food Today when I arrived and before I set, one off the staff came to me and say sorry we are not serving halal food anymore!!!

Incredible! Amazing turkish waiter from Istanbul. Truly authentic Turkish experience in our little market town seems almost impossible. Wish i found this place years ago, I ve always gone to el greco but this place is far superior quality. I had 2 course set lunch which is excellent value, and the more expensive Turkish wine which was outstanding and i m very fussy. My new go to when i m back home in Stratford.

We were there for dinner yesterday .I was very disappointed. We ordered lamb shish , Ribs , cacik. Meat was so hard to eat, Ribs was tasteless and cacik was no taste . Overall was bad.

The food was ok but we were the only diners in there so it was a poor atmosphere. Drinks are expensive too. I wasnt happy that a 10% charge was added to our bill on top of the menu price with out asking, sharp practice. Wont be going back.

Me and my friend were visiting the Christmas market. We had the lunch time special, very good value for money.. Everything about this experience was good. Would highly recommend visiting this place. Although we didnt have long to wait I would recommend booking a table. Well worth it!

Disappointing..fairly quiet lunch time visit..my order was wrong..took husbands back as well as mine ..correct order arrived both cold ..mine was very greasy chicken with yoghurt ..we mentioned it was cold but couldnt have returned it as it wouldve been nuked in the microwave with the salad ..staff were lovely and apologetic but picking out the chicken from the oil wasnt nice and to be honest both dishes ( other dish was mixed shish kebabs ) were really really,bland.They did offer us a free dessert ( baklava) which was delicious but overall very underwhelming and I suspect westernised version of Turkish food.Lovely looking restaurant nice staff but food over priced and flavourless.

Unfortunately we had a poor dine in experience. Staff appeared confused with who would come and manage seating us. Turquoise would benefit from designating a host to support front of house house seating. Poorly managed, inappropriate when your customers are standing behind their already seated customers trying to discuss their mismanaged seating arrangement isn t appropriate either. Ordered a mojito and it tasted stagnant and couldn t drink it. Food was not good either, possibly old food which is worrisome too much choice on the menu is always a warning. The meal was overpriced. The calamari starter was chewy did not seem fresh. Bread and hummus was better than main meals. Staff and service appeared moderately ok. However, they did lack a sense of warm hospitality.

First visit to this restaurant tonight so we decided to try a hot mixed starter and a cold mixed starter with a portion of chips. It came with pitta bread and dip. We first thought we may have to order something after we had ate these but we were wrong these were generous portions and we didnt need any more food. We also had a bottle of wine and two glasses of tap water. Service and staff was good and they had our booking down clearly on their pad when we arrived. Restaurant was busy this evening as expected for a saturday night.....glad we booked. We would definitely go back again and try something completely different as some of the dishes that came out to other diners looked amazing.

First time here but food,staff and atmosphere very good we had two mixed starters to try. Well presented and tasted really nice. We thought it was a little bit dear for dips and fried starters. We would definatly go back again and try some other dishes.

I missed Turkey so I stopped here for a late lunch and dont regret it! Great food and hospitality.

Food was okay but a bit on the pricey side. Watch out for the service charge!!! 10% was automatically added to my bill. Apparently it states this on the menu but I was looking at what I wanted to eat not how much I would be charged that would be taken off again if I noticed it and wanted to make a fuss.

Very unpleasant experience. The meal was all poor, and although they put a bit on the dish, it was still not nice. The grilled meat was also poorly prepared and contained blood.

Very kind staff! Was passing by outside the restaurant when I noticed Id stepped on a safety pin that had embedded into the sole of my shoe. Not wanting to dirty my hands, I was trying to get it out against the edge of the pavement - a kind gentleman who must have noticed came out of the restaurant with a serviette and helped me get the pin out of my shoe, despite us not even being patrons that evening. It was a very kind gesture and has stuck with me since!

Avoid avoid avoid Went for a dinner last night, not a very pleasant experience. Starters were ok, mix gill for main was dreadful. Only presented nice. Quality of the raw materials was soo poor. Minced lamb meat was off and deadly to eat. Chicken was ok but tough so the quality was rather poor. Waitress s nice and helpful. Had really bad food poisoning and stomach ache afterwards. Avoid if you can!
