My wife and I wanted a sandwich for lunch. So we found this place. Quite a sandwich selection (FYI - most everything has mayo on it). We both found something and it was quickly prepared. After we found a table across the street, we opened our containers to realize we had way too much food. So either be really hungry or split something.

Expensive, but grnerous and very high quality.

Havent visited the Cafe, but I had their lunches catered as part of a training program and everything was fantastic. The sandwiches and baked good were especially good.

Great food, perfect for lunch! Fast service as well which doesnt sacrifice the quality of the food whatsoever. Ordered Ham, Rainbow and Pesto chicken sandwiches, with a side of Mac N Cheese and nothing disappointed. I always come here though so I expected nothing less than perfect from Sirkel, which always meets or exceeds expectations. The only complaint would be the ability to get your mouth around it, but is that really a complaint? Wonderful.

Solid spot for sandwiches in town. They have a few different types worth trying such as the salmon and the sirkel crepe for vegetarians. The portion size is very very healthy.

Somehow, you made your way into our brains and dug out the way that we love to make sandwiches, salads, pasta and sweets. EVERY TIME that we have had food from Sirkel, it is fresh, outstandingly delicious and more than enough, at a price that is more than reasonable. Phenomenal group of ladies who funnel their love of good food into a great grab n go experience. I had their roast beef and had enough left of the second sandwich for an early dinner. If youre in Stratford and want a quality meal while supporting local sandwich wizards, definitely stop by.

As someone who has to eat gluten free, I always appreciate GF options! This place goes above and beyond every time. Their sandwiches/salads are incredible!

I was recently visiting Stratford for the first time on a long bicycle trip and was recommended to check out Sirkel Foods as a fueling stop. The employees were nice and helpful, the service was quick and the food was delicious! I had the Big Papa sandwich and it was just about the perfect lunch. I will definitely make it a point to stop here again next time Im in town, 10/10!

Best sandwich shop in town

Their food is not tasty as per my food standards. I ordered different food but they all taste same tasteless . I asked them twice to put some kind of hot sauce the lady said yes she will but she did not put anything. I have been reviewing foods for years now and every restaurant has a specific taste but this one does not have any specific taste.

Delicious food, fabulous decor, great menu of options. The mac and cheese was excellent, and Ive tried their club sandwich too, really tasty, portions are well-sized, feel hearty and healthy at the same time, and reasonably priced. Love the obvious inclusivity in the decorations. Staff always friendly and happy to help.

Amazing food! Absolutely delicious and such fresh yummy bread! Couldnt eat my whole turkey club because its so big so Im excited to eat it again later. The prices are a bit low for how amazing it all is, they could easily charge more! When Im back in town I will definitely go back!!

Tasty sandwiches

Sirkel might be the best sandwich I have had in a long time. I ordered the Brittlestar, hold the tomato, and it was the perfect lunchtime meal on a day full of shopping and live theatre. If you stop for a bite at only one place in Stratford, this would be my recommendation.

Great spot for a quick lunch. Chicken pesto sandwich was excellent. Baked goods are superlative. The homemade scone with bacon, jalapeno and cheddar should be the gold standard by which all scones are measured Sirkel Foods tipping system on the hand-held payment machine for takeout orders begins at 15% and rises from there. I am still trying to decide on the right protocol for tipping on takeout orders.

I absolutely LOVE Sirkel sandwiches. I wish I had one in my hometown but it s worth the drive! The bread is so so fresh and the different options are amazing. My fave is the classic ham sandwich! Vegetarian options: Many vegetarian options! Dietary restrictions: Many vegetarian options, and all the sandwiches can be made gluten friendly (although it makes the sandwich much much smaller)

Sandwiches were really fresh and tasty. Salad (peach) was enormous! Take out only - so be aware. Nice spot to eat across the street.

Hands down the best fresh sandwiches and Salads you will ever have. They used to be a sit-in restaurant but that changed after COVID. Very inviting and friendly environment. The staff is very helpful and always have a smile on their faces. The Dreamwich and Pesto chicken sandwiches are to die for. Make sure you get it toasted. The Cobb salad was pretty amazing as well. (I tried it without the bacon bits). The serving sizes are fairly generous for the price. Everything is made fresh while you wait. Best is to order over the phone for a quick pick up but the wait times are not bad at all. Will try other options whenever I get a chance. Highly highly recommended.

Ok so I really wanted to enjoy the food. I purchased 2 baked goods today (date square and brownie). They looked amazing. They were not. Both were dry and quite tasteless. Stale maybe? Disappointed

Excellent food at reasonable prices. Best baked goods and sandwiches and asian noodle salad ever!! It is now only a take out establishment. They do some catering and sell some of their sauces. Sirkel is closed Saturday and Sunday. Dietary restrictions: They offer gluten free baked goods and bread.

As someone who doesnt like to sit in at a table when I eat I didnt mind the lack of seating as there isnt much space for it and could become crowded quick. Ive had several sandwiches & wraps and every one has been phenomenal both in taste and portions. The staff is also a pleasure to be served by and the owner herself cares about the community which is refreshing to see. Id highly recommend this place to anyone who is on the fence or just looking for a bite.

I m a total regular, not as much as I d like to be. I do wish they would make some changes. Without a doubt Sirkel gets my 5 star ranking. Innovation, menu, staff, consistent high quality. Once a lazy stroll for me to grab the absolute best sandwich this side of the Atlantic. No more, unfortunately because our lives have changed. Working and living in Stratford should not be in the same sentence. Post Covid life has rocked our boats and Sirkel also. Even though I work out of town, my salary is spent in Stratford, for now. I ask/plead that you give those of us, rushing around, the opportunity to order online, perhaps the night before, pay with visa so that there can be a fast pick up the next day. Perhaps, I m the only one that feels this way but I know if this way of ordering is offered, then business should double. The current wait ( from order to delivery is 15 to 20 mins) that s quite the chunk out of someone s lunch hour! Back to what they do! They are the best. Fresh sourdough bread, slices thick enough to hold a door open, fillings to delight the palate and goodies galore.

This is my favourite spot in Stratford for lunch. Their sandwiches and salads are amazing. I also often stop in for their baked goods. My family likes the raspberry white chocolate scones and the banana chocolate chip muffins the best, but you really can t go wrong with any of their choices. The staff are very friendly and welcoming.

I got the cold Asian noodle salad and was disappointed that there were very little chicken and veg. For $16 it was basically all noodles and the food didnt sit well with me.

Decided to have Sirkel for lunch today, as we quite often do. Tried calling ahead to order, but the call kept going to voicemail. It was lunchtime and I could only imagine how busy they were. Drove down to order in person. Was expecting to wait a decent amount of time due to it being the best lunch spot in town, and to my dismay was in and out in 10 minutes! Fantastic job, fantastic food. 10/10 will recommend to anyone!

All the sammies of your dreams. And I cant believe I am going to say this but too much sandwich. I wish they had a lite sandwich with just half the stuff so I can eat it at work without spoiling my shirt. I supposed I could just learn to eat like a civilized person but that seems unlikely to change. Would recommend, and dont let the line fool you I think there are about 35 people in the back - youll be messing all over your shirt before you know it.

If you cant manage your restaurant properly to open during normal operating hours, then maybe its time for you to sell the establishment and have someone take over. I could have forgiven you if the menu wasnt so pricey. Update: You are open for take out only and close at 3. You are not open on weekends. You do your thing though.

Sirkel is so important to the city of Stratford. Their sandwiches are AMAZING! The sandwiches are massive, have delicious flavour combinations, and the fresh bread takes it to the next level. The food is to die for. More than that, Sirkel is an advocate and voice for our LGBTQ community in the city. Their presence downtown is a reminder that all belong. Hungry? Leave yourself lots of time or phone ahead because it isn t uncommon for lines to go out the door But it is sooo worth it. Eat at City Hall or walk to the river and you ve got a perfect lunch.

I will literally sell my soul to eat their mac and cheese (especially their daily specials for it) every day of my life. Been going here for ages. Food is fantastic, staff is super friendly. The best place to get lunch! While I like dining in when possible (the layout reminds me of a Toronto lunch hotspot with open-plan dining), I make the most use out of their take-out lunch service since I work in the city. The prices are very reasonable for the huge portions you get! They always have super-fresh ingredients and are always delicious! Ive heard their breakfast is also delicious, but I havent had a chance to try that yet. :)

The best lunch spot in town! Ive been obsessed with their sandwiches for years and honestly cant pick a favourite, theyre all great. I recently tried Mels potato salad for the first time and am genuinely mad at myself for not trying it sooner, it is without a doubt the best potato salad Ive ever had.

The food here is exceptionally good. Its a popular spot so order ahead if you are coming in at peak time (lunch hour). They have two lines so if you order ahead you can go straight to the pickup line. They have plenty of GF options. Excellent GF bread for their sandwiches thats very fresh. Their baked goods are to die for. I recommend the brownies, and raspberry scones. Their portions are very generous so come hungry!.

Ordered the Chow (veggie) and it was a huge meal and so wonderfully delicious. I would definitely recommend Sirkel. The flavors are top notch. My mates got the club house sandwich and the pesto chick and there sandwiches were as big as their faces. Packed with meats and all other goodies. Sirkel Foods gets a 5/5. You get your money s worth and then a little more. Also the staff was pleasant. X

Ive never had a bad bite of food from there. Amazing sandwiches on what appears to be freshly baked bread. Also, I think the coffee is just as good as Balzacs and better than Revel. I hope they can expand their hours for those of us that work weekdays and cant get in there for lunch.

Great food but they are ALWAYS CLOSED!!! They also don t update their hours on google when they decide to randomly close so I go out of my way to get there, excited, to find out it s closed. I used to frequent this restaurant but now live 2 hours away. Every time I ve visited Stratford for the last 4 years I ve tried to take my partner to Sirkel for breakfast and it s literally been closed every time. Not because I m coming on weekends when they are strangely always closed but weekdays.. every time I come there is a hand written sign in the window that they re closed additional days that week. Just super disappointing because I did love this place but every time I get my hopes up to be let down. We ve decided to just give up trying and sadly I will likely never eat here again

So I bought a brownie and a multi berry scone. The brownie was awesome. Nice texture, moisture, great taste, good amount of icing, etc. However, the scone was so freakishly amazing that by comparison, it made my brownie seem like a dirty stick in a gutter. The scone was the best I have ever had. It was perfect in every way. It made all other scones (including moms) just seem like old stale hockey pucks. I can not wait to go back. I am now ruined for anything less. I strongly recommend you try one....or 5. I could never have imagined a scone could be that delicious. I wish I had bought them all.

The Best Sandwiches in Stratford!

Fresh - good amount of food for the price.

Sirkel is one of my favourites in Stratford. If you can get there just before the major lunch rush, go for it - or choose take out and sit in the adjacent market square. Great lunch fare, all kinds of stuff from salads to entrees to soups and sandwiches. My fave is the enormous red pepper hummus sandwich. They have plates of heavenly dessert bars and cookies at the cash too. Even though they are always busy, the service is so quick! Highly reccommend.

Had a turkey club today was great and had a blueberry scone day before was best I ever had .Was none left today wish they made few more but will go earlier next time.If the sandwich had real turkey would be awesome.

My work started ordering lunch from here one week and I was hooked. Their food is so fresh and tasty with generous portion sizes. The staff are very friendly and pleasant. I ve been slowly making my way through the menu trying to get a taste of everything.

Had the Heather-wich, we sat in the square across the street after. Excellent friendly service and the sandwiches were well worth it. The bread was exceptional.
