Neptune Palace Seafood Restaurant (Surrey) in Surrey

I waited over 40 minutes for my 3 dishes for one adult. Another couple came in and received their food with in 5 minutes. I won t go again.

Great place for dim sum. Reservations recommended for shorter wait. Service is sometimes a bit slow during dim sum (lunch) hours, especially on busier weekends. For a quicker service with less weight go to the adjoining Neptune noodle for a quick bite of noodles or rice dish.

Jorvie and Charlie provided exceptional service! The king crab, Peking duck and fish mew soup were all amazing

Jorvie, the manager, was exceptional. He went above and beyond for us. Good personal interest and got to know us as a group. I recommend that you visit for a good Chinese experience.

Love the food but servers should say EXCUSE ME before taking anything on the table. Also should check every table if there is water bcoz we asked twice before they pour us water.

Okay so I went out for dimsum today with my husband and sister at 1215hr. As we were waiting for our food to be served, I went to use the ladies washroom and one of the lady employee came out from the cubicle with a disposable blue gloves on, and washed her hands with the gloves and went out to the dining room to start serving tables. I was dumbfounded with the sight. Did she actually went to the washroom with the gloves on and went back out to serve tables with the same gloves when it is supposed to be disposable in the first place???!!!. I immediately informed the guy server and politely asked the lady employee to change gloves. Neptune Seafood Restaurant manager , please let the employees be reminded again proper food handling and sanitation. I just cannnnooootttt imagine that this practice is being done there. If you are in need of disposable gloves I can even donate to protect people from getting sick, families eat there, kids and vulnerable elderly , immunocompromised people. Please get these things addressed. Thank you.

Perfect place for slightly fine dining :) not like the regular dark lighting kind of fine dining but I would say it feels like the Chinese style fine dining for sure(super nice lighting) lovely and personable service.

We visited this restaurant in yesterday morning and were very disappointed with the experience. We ordered dim sum and seafood congee, but the fish in the congee had a strong, unpleasant smell. When I informed the server, she offered to have the cook prepare a different congee. I requested the pork and century egg congee instead, but unfortunately, the pork also had a bad smell and taste. We tried to eat it but couldn t. When the server asked about our meal, I explained the issue. She suggested taking it home, but since it was inedible, I declined. I was surprised that we were still charged for it despite these issues. I cannot recommend this place based on our experience.

Mushroom and fat beef cubes that you must order every time

DO NOT GET THE KING CRAB!!!!!!! We had the king crab set dinner which was on sale for $499. They showed us the live crab and it looked pretty big. When it was cooked, I was pretty sure they kept parts of the crab. Other than that, everything else was pretty tasty.

Food was amazing and the staff were very friendly and accommodating! They were able to serve our big group with no issues, and were very friendly through the whole night. Thank you!

Ordered the beef rice noodle with black bean sauce & chow fun rice noodle that was huge. Well worth the price for the proportion size & very saucy! We enjoyed the in house chill oil & especially the lychee leaf tea they served at the beginning. If you like herbal tea, it s perfect for you.

Always amazing food and its only gotten better over the years. Todays service was beyond. We ordered the usual order of dimsum dishes with the managers recommendation of the scallops. Cant believe how fresh and meaty they were. Definitely recommend!

very poor service......my husband went there for uber order...... it took 25 min for order..... when he asked for order......... she showed that she was very bzy.... and said him order will take time and you can go.....she has very angry mood... i think..... once again ... very poor service.... 0 out of 10 .... if i know the name of her..... then i surely posted her name to..... it was monday ... i guess time was 12pm

This is Fengmings order from the same kitchen. The 2-course set meal is $60 and the salt and pepper chicken wings are a la carte. The dinner is delicious. There are no Chinese restaurants near Surrey center. Fengming porridge and noodles are a very good choice.

Beautiful ambiance, great service (special thank you to Charlie for always making us feel so welcome), the food is authentic Cantonese cuisine, ample parking and it s our go to every week. Thank you for everything we have shared some of our greatest family memories at Neptune.

The food was amazing and very tasty if you like authentic dim sum would definitely check this out. Its not the most warm and fuzzy place but they do have a very big screen TV that takes up a whole wall. It was a bit different because its not like a sports bar or anything.

Cost is already above average. Food is mid at best. Inspite of this they charge extra for everything including water sauces credit card feeds. There are there many better options for cheaper almost anywhere you go. Chair are also dirty with stains.

This place has amazing quality choice foods. Two thumbs up for weekly specials during the Mon-Friday. The staff are quick to notice your attention, and they are well-trained servers who know what they are doing. BUT, I was really thrown off by the way they bill you at the end of the dining experience. THEY AUTOMATICALLY CHARGE YOU HIDDEN 2% CREDIT CARD FEE - BE AWARE! Even if you pay with debit or cash, they always bring the bill with that extra fee UNLESS you spot it and say something about it. I dont believe this is the industry standard. Almost felt like a scam at the end. My family had a great time dining at the place, but that twist at the end threw me off - a big time.

Food is delicious. Everyone is friendly here. We really enjoyed the food here and theres a special of the day every week day! This restaurant is also featured on the Michelin guide! You just cant go wrong!

They will charge for water soon, you wait and see. Anyway cant afford to eat here. Prices are around double to my standards. They are riding on the covid train in my eyes. Too bad so many are doing it.

Parking: The parking lot is huge as it is part of the shopping mall s parking lot, so there are a plenty of stalls. But it may be harder to find parking during busy hours. Kid-friendliness: They have high chair available for children and cute dim sum/desserts such as animals or characters that children love to get.

We went here for dinner to celebrate mid Autumn. The food was very delicious and tasty! We had the rock fish which was cooked perfect, the crab fried rice was tasty as well. Jorvie was our server, who is very friendly and responsive to our requests. Service was beyond our expectations. We had a great dining experience!

I have been to Neptune Brentwood and was very impressed by their top notch service and food quality. Unfortunately, I cant say the same for Neptune Surrey. We had 2 big tables celebrating our mothers 87th birthday and left the restaurant feeling disappointed with the service and food. The waitresses were not attentive and the food was not at par to the price you pay. We were rushed to pay our bills when our dessert haven t even been served. Outrageous! Will not recommend and never go back for formal dining at this location.

the food is superb; been here quite a few times and each time they are consistently delicious. there are a lot of good dim sum places in the greater van area so i guess technically they arent a standout place but def very solid and safe place if u wanna impress friends. on the pricey side and sometimes the service isnt the best tho. also the giant tv screens playing ads can get annoying

Been eating at this restaurant with my families since 2014, food is always fresh and surprisingly tasty, waitresses and waiters are very supportive and attentive, last time got serviced by JIN and CHARLI, very nice people with smiles all the time. Ate there, spend 230 bucks. Ordered the pecking duck and other dishes. Each dish came 15 mins apart. They brought the wrong order, then when we complained, they tried to tell us we were wrong and that is what was ordered. Hes pointing to what we ordered and it literally said shrimp, but what we got was obviously a beef dish. He argued with me for 5 mins until I got so frustrated shouting at him, where the hell do you see shrimp on this dish. In which then he took the dish back, and after 30 mins brought the correct one. Appetizers and Rice came after the meal. Part two of the pecking duck came after we paid for the meal and were about leave. They offered no refund for the pecking duck even after we asked for one because they never brought it out. and was like we brought it for you. If youre wanting a bad time come to Neptune. There are lots of better restaurants than this.

After I finished paying, one of the staff came up to us to ask if we were sure of the tip we gave. I found it insulting that they insisted that we should have given at least minimum 15% when its not even required by the law to give tip.

The culinary experience was exceptional. The establishment was immaculate, and the atmosphere was indicative of a five-star establishment. We highly recommend this restaurant.

First off, they charge you for the Chinese tea, even if you dont order it. Then they charge for the take out containers for your leftovers. The food is overpowered with garlic. I dont think after spending 200 bucks, that you should be charged for containers. Also the tea is 6 bucks lol.
