Bacayon’s Chibugan is a Filipino Restaurant located in Surrey .We serve dine-in,pick up, party trays and delivery via doordash.
I ordered a XL food trays last month. Food tastes good and they have big portions with reasonable prices. So far, best Filipino restaurant i’ve been in Surrey.
Small and busy place. Food was great. Authentic Filipino dishes. The only downside is they only have 1 high chair for toddler.
Only issue is the rice. As what I've read in some comments, the rice is white rice with garlic on top. I would have enjoyed the paresilog with the actual garlic rice. Other than that good was really good. Will definitely come back when we are in the area again to try the other food.
Small sit-down / take-away specializing the authentic Filipino food. We order various dishes including bbq pork skewer, tokwa’t baboy, crispy kare kare, and puto pandang. Food came all at the same time and everything was tasty. The goto was very gingery and it was nice to have on a cooler day. Inside is quite clean. Overall, we spent over $40 for the meal with no leftovers. Free pending lot is available for the plaza.
My 1st time tasting a beef hocks dish, it is unexpectedly good. The hock is so juicy and it provides several different kinds of textures, from soft, tender to crispy soft bones.
Have gotten party trays from them a few times and every time, it's been a hit! We ordered a pancit from them recently and our non Filipino friends kept coming back for more (and then more again)! Will definitely order again in the future.
decided to try them out after passing by them for years 😂 and they did not disappoint. we ordered for dine in pork sisig, dinakdakan, tokwat baboy, pancit bihon and lumpiang shanghai. everything we ordered was delicious and they have big portions for the price you pay. place is small with only a few tables wish they'd move to a bigger place in the future we also ordered for take out crispy pork kare-kare, dinuguan and leche flan and they were also yummy. would go back some other time to try their silog dishes.
Decided to try this place out before leaving back to the states. I'm so glad this was our last meal in Canada. It is a small place with about 7 small tables that will fit 2 ppl comfortably. 3 is pushing it. You order your food at the front counter, take a table and wait for the dishes to arrive. We order the sizzling sisig. Hot and sizzling with an egg on top to mix and a chili on the side just for me to cut up and eat with it. The sisig was crispy and flavorful. Great portion and the two of us ate it up. We also ordered the beef pares. So tender and a little fatty. The chili helped with the richness. Also, we ordered the bbq pork stick silog. My hubby ate that one up. Didn't even get a chance to try it (rude, I know right? lol!). The lumpian shanghai looked like the ones your grandma, mom, and aunties make for parties. Perfectly one bite pieces. If we are in Canada again, this will definitely be a stop we will make as our first and last meal in Canada.
I cannot believe It s been here for so long and I don t know about it! Such a hidden gem in Surrey! Their pares silog brought me back to Philippines! It is delicious and authentic with side of flavourful sabaw! Their single stick BBQ, OMG! I thought they only take bulk orders. They have seating inside y all! Il be back!
I only eat there once in a while, however there food be amazing fr
The pork sisig was delicious! Crunchy and soft meats, punctuated with raw onion. It was an orchestra for tastebuds. It reminded me of authentic tastes I came across my visit in the Philippines. Friendly service. Recommend.
The food is so good and feels like home.
The place is a bit small, but the servings are worth it and their food is delicious, you must try the crispy kare-kare!
Came here for the first time. Good service. Good food. Good people. Well come back again. :)
I recently had the pleasure of trying this restaurants food through DoorDash, and I m so grateful for that option, as I had been settling for some less impressive Filipino food in Burnaby. I ordered their Sisig Silog and Pancit Bihon. The Sisig was a bit saltier than I prefer, but it was truly delicious. The crispiness and thank god it was NOT OILY AT ALL were exactly what I was hoping for, and while there was something missing flavor-wise to fully qualify it as traditional Sisig, the texture and freshness made up for it. On the other hand, the Pancit Bihon was absolutely outstanding easily one of the best I ve had in Vancouver. Having moved from Winnipeg, my standards for Filipino food have been quite high, and I had been disappointed with many options here. But this place has definitely earned a spot on my list of go-to restaurants. Highly recommended!
The sisig is spectacular, their dinuguan is awesome and their bagnet is so crispy.
This place definitely needs AC during summer. However, food is good.
I Wanted to support a local filipino restaurant but unfortunately it was not good. I ordered the lechon silog and bag with sweet treat. There was no sweet treat, and the lechon silog was over done. The lechon was all fat, refried and breaded with no taste. The garlic rice was soggy and had no garlic. The egg was not even salted and was overdone. Very disappointing and will not order again.
They offer silogs here. I come often for bisteksilog. They also have my mom s favorite, Balbacua. I highly recommend.
Ordered a few party platters and it didnt disappoint. Everyone kept asking where we ordered the food from especially the sisig and crispy kare kare. Thumbs up!
I just found my go to filipino resto. Food was delicious. Owner & staff were friendly. The sisig was so good & My mom loved the pancit. Will be back to try the other dishes and specially the desserts.
The sisig is the best and the crispy kare kare
Pinoy dish yum yum!
Small servings for the price. Not worth it. Never coming back.
Very good customer service. Food was great and fair price. Will definitely come back.
Dropped in to pick up dinner. Love this place. I was able to pick items to please everyone in a house of 7. Lumpiang Shanghai, Lumpiang Gulay, Pampano, Sisig, and Ube Champorado. They are very helpful!
Every dish is on point! Love their pinoy-style spaghetti, bagnet kare-kare and butterfly squid! A must try when you re around the Surrey area.
The bangsilog was good but everything else we had was dry. It was also very warm inside for dine-in. A little disappointed since the reviews were so good for this place.
The guy who runs this place has the best customer service in all the Filipino restaurants that we have eaten at. On second thought, the best customer service period. He treats you like a person that has known you for years. Never had a bad experience eating here. Sometimes when you eat at a turo-turo style restaurant, once they have given you your food, that s it. This place makes sure you have all you need and might need from start of your meal until you are done. Paying for your meal is quick and easy too. (No long line ups and no long wait). We had the crispy kare kare, sizzling sisig, and jeproxsilog on our last visit. Food is fresh and hot. (And yummy!) The price is reasonable too. The restaurant is clean. Five stars.
Food is so good and service is great... I love this place Food
A small place to enjoy Filipino food...
Love this place!!! Drove all the way to this restaurant just to eat their tapsilog and sisig!!! Theyre really nice and friendly!!! Will go back again and again!!! And highly recommended!!!
The food is good. The price is also ok. We will come back again.
Always great food at Bacayons! Highly recommend for Filipino eats!
Great place to eat! The owners are amazing and provide the best customer service! Food is top tier!
The best sisig in town! I also enjoyed the bangus sarciado, yum! The most affordable Filipino restaurant Ive ever been to in Metro Vancouver.
I LOVE IT YOU NEED TO TRY
I love da food its good
Best Filipino Restaurant in Surrey, their for was great definitely coming back again.
Pork Sisig was spot on! We were in the area on the hunt for a good Filipino restaurant. Bacayons did not disappoint. We will visit each time we are back in Canada!
Great Filipino food! Greasy but tasty!
Food is amazing and their service is impeccable. Their crispy Kare-kare is a must try. It feels and tastes like home
Its my first time at chibugan.. The tempura is just right and its delicious... this goto combo and their pork barbecue and lumpia vegetables... and the guy Rechard has good customer service, and hes kind to his customers.. thanks
Delicious Filipino dishes and desserts. Has a variety of options, not typically found in other Filipino restaurants. Accepts debit, credit cards. Free street parking.
Excellent food! One of the best Filipino restaurants Ive been to!
I was surprised that Filipino food is that good!
Filipino food was freshly made
Good food good service
Friendly, great food, great price one of my fav restaurants/ take- out
Nice place to try with Filipino delicious food I take out my favorite dish of the menu chicharron its not only delicious just served, I also prepare a Mexican tomatillo salsa to make a famous meal named chicharron in salsa verde. Good for you Bacayon Chibugan.
Ordered 50 pcs of lumpia for a bbq I was having at a park. The lumpia was crispy, but not very much filling inside. More surprisingly, it didnt come with the sweet chilli sauce! I expected more for paying $46 for the tray.
Filipino comfort food here! One of the best place for Sisig and crunchy pork. The resturant itself is quite small and generic but that shouldnt prevent you from eatting here. The food is filling and rice portions are generous. The emplyees/owners are very nice as well.
Craving for a quick pinoy meal, this is where we go! Bulalo is so tasty, try it!
It is a authentic filipino cuisine. It feels like you are at the Philippines.
The owner is very nice and makes good quality food! The pancit bihon bagnet was extremely yummy and the silvanas were my favorite desert but all the food and deserts were tasty, fresh and great quality. I will be eating here again for sure and recommend it to other to try!
Sooo good! Open during the day, my mom was craving for filipino and happy this place was open for lunch! Highly recommend the batsoy ITS SO MASARAP ooouueee We had bangsilog combo and sisigsilog Kuya richard - owner treated us meringue in the end :) Hes so nice, friend of my parents!
Best Lumpia Shanghai in town!
Had the crispy pork silog, pork bbq, and spring rolls. Always great tasting food and service as well. They also try serving different things which is much appreciated. Had the fortune of trying their ensaymada today and it was awesome.
Very nice little place. To be honest I don t always like Filipino food. (My Mother in Law is Filipino and an amazing cook) so that s my standard. However this place was really great!Bringing some for her to try. We definitely will be back!
Solid food, solid quality! A definite go-to if youre in the mood for filipino food. A fam favorite for us.
OUR FAMILY HAPPY PLACE GREAT FOOD AS ALWAYS HIGHLY RECOMMENDED BRING FILIPINO AUTHENTIC FOODS HERE IN CANADA FEELS LIKE HOME THANK YOU
My family loves going to this restaurant. Great food and service!
Cooking made with passion! Straight up masarap!
Everything IS SO GOOD! Friendly family run restaurant serving up the best comfort food with incredible flavor. Im still craving the sinigang and pares!
Ordered Beef Pares Silog. While it was alright, the supposed fried rice was just steamed rice sprinkled with toasted garlic. Im yet to eat a proper garlic fried rice at a Filipino restaurant here in Canada. Although they never advertised it as fried rice, too bad because a lot of their delicious offerings is better enjoyed with fried rice. After all, the term silog implies fried rice. Ordered via Doordash and five minutes after it was ready so that was a plus. Edit: came back to eat in, not a good experience. Its so smoky inside. They should use their kitchen exhaust or invest in one. Furthermore, I ordered their mami (beef noodle). Wasnt impressed. They also used wonton noodles in the mami which is not normally used for this dish and frankly it doesnt work with the dish either, and what I had was just not good altogether. But ultimately, I sadly did not enjoy my experience from this spot.
Delicious Filipino dishes!
Unfortunately while we bought Filipino food, the quality was disappointing. Lechon kawali was more like a fried pork chop. Chop suey was overcooked and quite soggy. BBQ pork was not very tasty. The dipping sauce was mainly vinegar. We thought wed try a different place than our regular (Klassic Inasal), but we wont be coming back here. Sorry!
Super welcoming and engaging staff; the gentleman at the front let me try a few dishes and answered all my questions patiently before I made my order. Amazing pork sisig and fried pork belly.
Missing my parents cooking, so I decided to go to this little place. Satisfied with their meals especially the pork sinigang, had more meat than expected. Recommend this place and will definitely go back! Thank you for the delicious food. Keep it up!
Good food, good service! Will be coming back.
So far every time that we have come here, we always get good and tasty food. Everything was very flavorful and price is reasonable. I think the only down side is the place is a little small but we always come back because of the food and good service. We will come back soon!
This is a quaint Filipino resto. Food was served in a timely manner, and it was good. Serving size was right for the price. We ordered the Bagnette, very crispy and not oily. Pork Bbq was delicious. Sisig was also great. Pork shrimp rolls, were crunchy on the outside and meaty inside. We did really love their Silvanas, it was close to the taste of the Sans Rival silvanas. The original flavor was really good, but the mango Silvanas was really amazing. Staff was helpful and friendly.
Unbelievably great filipino food, and some of the very highest quality food of any kind on all the lower mainland! They obviously take a lot of pride (and put in lots of love) into each dish. Going to try everything on the menu. AAA
Currently available on door dash. Food was delicious
A hidden gem just off 104 and 140th street. Their pancit canton is very umami and its a good ratio of noodles and toppings. Theyre my go-to source for pancit party trays, which I order even if theres no party - a $35 small party tray can be split into 7 containers for work lunches in our household. Excellent deal!
I always come here regularly. Good and affordable food.
This place is really good! The guy at the front is super nice and the food is affordable compared to other filipino restaurants!
Nice place! Authentic Filipino food prepared with best lechon belly!
