The food was great. The service was super fast. The naans/pitta, when they bring it it's blown up like a big bubble and it slowly deflates when they set it on your table, so it's pretty hot. We ordered the 1.5 kg mix grill. And shawarma meat with hummus. We got yoghurt and rice to go with it. The mixed grill had a big pitta under it, and it had some of the sauces/juices of the meat soaked so tasted yummy! They have a private section where you can prebook/ reserve for a large family... all the tabletops are bright orange color. The ambience was so nice. The waitresses came a couple times to ask if we were okay and if we needed anything. Bathroom is nice, clean. The restaurant is very busy on weekends. If you going with a larger crowd between to reserve your tables, although they equally accept walk-ins. While we were there, we saw lots of take-away orders and lots of people coming in. They were all out of fries but the time we got there. Apart from the covered private area which is a couple steps up, the rest is ground level so definitely wheelchair accessible. Parking could be a challenge, we were lucky to get one spot. The spots full up fast and there's just a few. Overall, nice place, good food. I would definitely recommend and go there again.
The lamb shank is tender and can easily serve two or three persons. The freshly baked bread and the dip are hard to stop once you get started. Kebabs are equally delicious.
We enjoyed our dinner last night. The food is always of good quality especially the kebabs and freshly baked bread. The restaurant is laid back and the prices and portions are reasonable.
The food was INCREDIBLE. 4 of us split the family platter and it was enormous and absolutely delicious. 10/10 could not recommend more, and the owner was so delightful! thank you for letting us stay after closing to chat!
Great service, delicious food, and huge portions—my husband and I didn’t even make it through half the food we ordered, so we took a lot home with us for lunch the next day! Also, the employees were really kind; we accidentally left a briefcase when we exited and they stayed there after close until we came back to pick it up. Lovely food and quantity for meat lovers. Must try non vegetarian food item pictures posted. We had no vegetarian option which was difficult as one of the member was pure vegetarian! Pita bread was freshly prepared but too thick and dry. Must visit for chicken dishes and lamb shank!! Service was a challenge with one attendant. Ambience was okay, can be better.
To me, the best food and service. Very friendly people and the chef has a great sense of humour. Menu prices are very good and I honestly doubt you can find a better prices for such a GOOD food and service. My order was mixed barbecue and it costs around $24. And there is free parking.
Amazing Hidden Gem Restaurant in Surrey! 💎 The food here was not only delicious, but the portions were generous and quite filling! 😋 I ordered the BBQ mixed meat kebab platter. It came with lamb, beef and chicken. The platter also came with bread, rice, and side of veggies. The whole platter costs about $20. 🐑🐓🐄 The bread was piping hot and fresh and came with tzatziki for dipping. The meats were tender and juicy and probably on the larger side as far as kebabs go which is great! For the price this dish was phenomenal. 👌 The restaurant parking and entrance is in the back alley side with plenty of room. The interior of the restaurant was very spacious with lots of seating and the decor gave me a very 90s middle eastern vibe. Overall this is a great middle eastern restaurant in Surrey that has a nice character to it and delicious food with large portions.

went there for dinner on a tuesday last week and it was excellent food. we had the family platter which comes with an assortment of kebabs, lamb shank on a bed of rice plus the appetizer platter woith hummus, baba ganoush, roast egg plant salad which was smoky and so delish! they also being freshly baked pita which is so good! the kebabs are not spicy like indian kebabs but they are still flavorful and the lamb shank was melting your mouth!

I ve been there couple times. Unforgettable experience when I went first time. We were very hungry and restaurant was slow and about to closed. The owner he is super nice still took our order and served delicious big platter. Absolutely tasteful and delicious food. I ve been there again and again I ll 100% recommend the place.

We ordered beef shawarma platter, chicken shawarma platter and meat kebab (ground beef, lamb mix), for takeout. It came with yellow rice, salad with house sauce, tahini, humus and 2 nan bread. The beef shawarma was very dry. Cannot eat it without the sauces. The chicken shawarma was better than beef but still dry. The kebab was good. It seemed similar to koobideh kebab but with less flavor. But still better than the other items. The bread was very good. The yellow rice had no flavour and was very al dente, very chewy. Not very good. For the price (approx 20$ each), we expected better quality. Service was ok. We hope they improve their food quality.

My friend from the island was visiting and she wanted some Arabic grill so I decided to try the restaurant as it came highly recommended by my Iraqi friends. We ordered the lamb shank and was surprised how soft and tasty the dish was...the ouzie rice was flavourful but if you love lamb you will like this dish. I also ordered lamb tikka and was pleased by the authentic taste of the grilled lamb. Eat it all when its fresh not the next day. The hummus was amazing as well as the yogurt and fresh bread. The atmosphere is nice once youre in but the location is an old building. Other than that who you invite is the atmosphere not decorations. I do recommend the following dishes: Fish platter Lamb shank platter Hummus Appetiser mix with fresh bread if you are a group of 3-6 people so all can enjoy to dip the fresh bread. I recommend the mix grill platter. I also recommend Kabab too. I cant wait to come back again.

Weve been here today for an early dinner. Being located in a quiet street the outside is not that much but the inside is so well done interiors and really good atmosphere. We had Iraqi kebabs, mixed grill platter, beef shawarma and chicken pida. All dishes were very delicious especially the fresh bread. Services were unbelievable. There was a lady we forgot to ask her name but she was so nice with us and other customers today. Going to be coming back soon. Parking available too. Recommend it for everyone.

Today, around 12pm, I go here with my family and one of the best restaurants in all of Vancouver. The food is not only halal, but authentic and every bite you can taste the love made by the chef and made with care. We will be bringing friends and parties here for future grow this amazing restaurant. The owner is kind, caring and very humble. We hope to continue bringing them more business, friends and long term growth

I ordered the bbq mixed grill and the chicken tikka grill. This was more than enough food to feed 3 adults. The beef kebabs were tender and cooked well. The salads and rice were delicious. Pricing is good for the portions that I got. We had a whole platter leftover after feeding 3. We were very pleased with our delicious food. Recommend 100%.

I ordered their bbq platter, the potion is great and taste pretty good, well seasoned and juicy. The hummus that comes with it was smooth and tasty. They also gave us homemade bread with dipping yogurt, both were delicious. Server was also friendly and nice. Unfortunately, when my food arrived, there was a fruit fly crawling on my rice and salad. They also did not have enough server in the restaurant, all the dishes from the family next to our table were still there after a while, no one was there to collect them. This certainly disrupted my appetite a little bit. I wish they could do a better job at keeping the place clean because the food was good. But I am not sure if I would come again, even if I really want to try the Lamb shank after seeing how tender it is from my friends plate.
