Really great burgers!! The way burgers were intended to be: big, tasty patties cooked just right and exactly finished with the condiments I specify. Everything seems to be large in portion size, especially the fries, which are also delicious. Service is quick and friendly, and parking is right outside the door. Love this place! EDIT: I eat here pretty regularly, and just tried the poutine. I dont usually care for poutine, but someone in my group ordered it bt mistake, so I had some and found the gravy to be extra tasty. Might even have it again, cause I know Ill be back many times. Its great! Tell your friends! Edit, again. Still the best burgers in... ANYWHERE! Eat here!!

Dam is the end of an era gone ? Once known for their consistency, over the past two times I ve visited , I ve had a pretty dry burger . Patty was like a hockey puck . I guess all good things come to an end .

Best burger I ve had in a long time and it s priced reasonably. I added a poutine with meal and it was pretty big. The regular size is good for 2 people. It was quiet in the restaurant with no background music and i m ok with that. Sometimes, it s just nice to enjoy a meal without any distractions.

This is seriously one of those burger joints you hope operates forever. This is the insanely delicious burger you remember from your teenage years. They dont mess around. They give you a sensory experience, one youll be talking about in memories 30 years from now with friends when the world is over. Go to Texx, you wont be disappointed. Best burger ever. Meat is fresh, and potatoes are daily peeled off (not pre-fabricated like the Macdonalds chewing gum fries). Cant compare it with any other burger. By far the best. Go try it out. You wont regret it.

Update: i went today and it was even better than ever. I have to give these guys another awesome review! There is no way I could get a better burger anywhere. TEXX BURGER is better than any fast food place or any pub or any fatburger or Veras or 5 guys chain style burger specialist Every single time I am satisfied no matter what I get. Please have a visit and try to encourage them to open more locations.

Prepare for a food coma! This is an amazing hole in the wall. The burgers are huge, messy, and juicy, everything that makes a burger delicious! We usually go for the bottomless fountain drink and a medium size fries to share. Even the smallest size is enough for 2 to share. The medium size fries is half of a brown paper bag, fries for days! You always get your moneys worth! I usually go for the double bacon cheese burger, with unlimited toppings. I can never finish it in 1 sitting! Everything is always made fresh!

A great little burger joint. Tasty burgers, fresh cut fries, what more could you want? Im a simple bacon cheeseburger kinda guy, but there are a ton of options and one of those photo on the wall eating challenges too, if you want more. Double cheeseburger was tasty, thank you! But I have a few remarks: 1) please dont use cheap plastic tomatoes. 2) burger buns are frozen? 3) Do you have hand sanitizer or gloves or cutlery? Or may be washroom to wash hands before lunch?

Been coming here for years but yesterday was so disappointed that they did not serve fresh cut potato French fries as they have always done. Please stop using frozen fries and go back to the delicious ones you used to serve. Your French fries are a main draw!

Best burger place I ve been to in BC.

We were so excited to try Texx Mexx Poutine. My partner is a huge poutine fan and we try a new place each week, looking to find our poutine place. We got the medium poutine with grilled onions and mushrooms. The fries are great, but we did not have ANY gravy in the poutine. As you can see in the pictures, it s barren and dry. We came home and made our own gravy because it was just a little soggy fries and no gravy taste. It was disappointing :( Also we had a random potato that was in the poutine? So weird, we probably would not mind trying again but would like a better experience.

A large portion of French fries. Very big. Even in a combo with a hot dog. Ideal if you need a hearty meal. Plus free drink refills. But neither the hot dog nor the potatoes are very tasty, yes, in the top three. Burgers are good, juicy, but not cheap, as for such an establishment.

So the food is excellent, it was fast, the cheese squeaked on the poutine. Speaking of the poutine, I got a medium sized poutine... Im not sure on what planet it qualified as medium. It fed four people, easily. Burger was also excellent, great taste, awesome bacon on top.

The focus is the food, dont expect service or a chic atmosphere. If you want the best burger in Surrey, and maybe further afield, then this has to be stop on your quest to see if youve found the Surrey burger grail. Had the double burger with cheese and bacon, yummiers! Add the small poutine and you have a meal for two, for under $30.00, and a damn good one at that.

This place is actually awesome and a local gem. Just a single bacon burger was probably the size of 2 big macs and tasted absolutely phenomenal with all the toppings. 100% worth the money.

I did not expect what I got when I went in there... Really good beefy tasting burgers, they are about the size a burger should be for however many patties you order, all the fixins are free (most) and the craziest thing, bottomless Jones fountain Soda, which I did not realize was a thing

I have been eating at Texx for 15+ years, and they continue to make the same EXCELLENT burgers now as they always have. The ingredients are always fresh, fries are hand chopped then deep fried perfectly (not frozen and heated up), portions are huge and pop is bottomless. The fact that all toppings are either free or the premium toppings (extra cheese, bacon) cost less than any other restaurant is a big plus. Better than 5 stars, highly recommend!

Havent been back to the Texx, price shot up, order a fish burger $21 the fish are thin though it was a Mc burger patty. Not worth it. But however the chicken strip and fries worth the buck. So dont order the fish.

I had gone to fab burger in Newton and was extremely disappointed so I thought I d try here . I ordered a double cheeseburger and sm fries and gravy and bottomless pop . Everything was fresh tasty delicious and plentyfull. I will be back!!

This was the worst food I have ever eaten.We had to stay overnight to catch an early flight. The next day trying to find something to eat. We had a group of 9 people. We all gave 9 thumbs down. The chicken was not chicken it was very stringy the fries were all burnt had black particles on it because the oil was burnt. I also got poutin it was so nasty. I do not recommend that anyone ever eat at this place we all threw our food in the trash. We spent 168.00 all trashed they should never cook anything ever.

The burgers are epicly good. We shared double cheese bacon burger and poutine. This is a Chinese restaurant disguised as a Canadiana-Americana. And they re doing fit as good as anything! The medium poutine was enormous for two as a side. It was ok, but the gravy had kind of a weird taste to it.

Staff is friendly and easy ordering method. Poutine is large and not super salty and the burgers are delicious.

My family and I recently visited here for lunch, and our order included the Aiden Mix and Single Tex Mix. Been wanting to try this place for a looooong time. Finally got there today, and man was it ever worth it!! Straightforward no-pressure ordering, you just fill in the boxes on a sheet of which burger you want, and additional toppings. Burger is a set price, and all additional toppings are free. I had the double cheeseburger, and the poutine. Definitely wayyyyy too much food, but it was definitely worth it. If youve ever been to five giys and liked it, this place is like a better five guys. Had to grab the wife a to-go burger, because I wanted her to try it as well. Will most definitely be going back there, much sooner than later.

A real burger that fills you up The best Food

Good value. Its been about 4 years since the last time I had Texx, it was before they moved locations. I hadnt tried as I found their beef patties dry, like too much bread crumbs or something and didnt taste like pure beef. Seems like they have changed. Patties are juicy now and the taste and texture is like 100% beef. I had the double bacon cheese burger, it was juicy and flavor full. Also ordered the med fries and was not disappointed. If you are a Five Guys lover then this will not disappoint. Only thing that needs a tweek is the gravy, taste like they added cumin to it, not a fan of the smell or the taste.

If you have an appetite, this is the place! Big Texx serves up great burgers and their Kennebec chips cant be beat. Food : 5/5

An impressive burger joint hidden away in a smaller street next to the busy King George Boulevard, texx burger serves amazing burgers and food. The burgers are ordered at the front with options to take it to go. The burgers come with the option to select your toppings for free including mushrooms. The fries are crispy and the poutine is rich with very nice gravy. The soda is also bottomless and you have your choices of different craft sodas including Jones soda. The staff in front work quick and are able to deliver great service.

Food is super fresh, can t ask for better! For how bad poutine is outside of QC generally, the poutine here is solid. I don t think the chicken is worth it and I found the beef patties underseasoned. But the fact its a local business, its clean inside, and staff are great still makes it 5 stars.

This would be fine, good maybe what you desire at the moment. If your looking for old dinner style or truck stop homemade burgers & fries. IF... it wasnt so overly priced & they wouldnt put twice the amount of condiments in the burger thats needed & not put them all directly on the bun so that everything slides out & soaks through. Big burger ? ok yes. The most messiest thrown together burger...very much so. Such an easy fix. Burgers should be priced for not including fries & building the burger.

Great neighborhood burger joint. Burgers are well cooked, with generous toppings you can choose from - bonus, the toppings are all included in the cost of the burger! Fries are sold separately, but are excellent, and come in huge portions. One order of fries is probably enough for 3-4 people. The hot dog is a big favourite with the kids, and is well made as well. The chicken strips are also excellent and are nice and juicy. Prices are all very reasonable as well. Probably the best burger joint in Surrey!

cool little restaurant with a creative way to order from their menu. All toppings free and they do not skimp on the servings, flavor is also not lacking. Very filling food but their chicken tasted a bit weird and is oddly stringy, the fries are also not good and super saturated in oil, but a small size is basically half a brown paper bag. Overall was a cool experience and worth the money considering how much you get, more of a homey fast food burger rather than gourmet. Wheelchair accessibility: a bit of a squishy entrance but the restaurant is super open, dunno if there is a sidewalk ramp from parking lot

To night about an hour ago I ordered a double bacon cheese burger with fries via Skip the Dishes. The driver got lost and arrived about 10 minutes late. Then he got out and opened trunk. My two paper bags were sitting in a big cardboard box - no warming bag to be seen. Burger was completely soggy and not hot just kinda warm but fries were cold. So I hopped in my truck and drove the 10 minutes to Tex burger and told them what happened and Peter, the owner, came through with my ask for a new burger. He didn t have to, and I was going to walk out quietly if he didn t, but he very graciously agreed to do so. There is a vein of humility in this man. Thanku Peter for blessing me.

This is hands-down the BEST burger experience Ive found locally. The meat patties are delicious, and I love the ordering system that lets you get EXACTLY what you want on your burger. Price for a triple burger is also quite reasonable...less than I paid for a double burger at Burger Heaven, that was nowhere near as good. Why only four stars? Two things: I also tried their chicken patty, and it was horrible -- tough, fibrous, I couldnt even finish it. Second, the fries arent great. The best burger in town really ought to be accompanied by a higher grade of french fry. Atmosphere is nothing special, but who cares...this is a burger made to be taken away and eaten in your car. Word of advice...dont unwrap it completely, or youll have a mess.

Texx Burger is delicious and another hidden gem. The burger in picture is single burger try the big one you will be full for entire day. If you never been its must try in Surrey

I had a bacon cheese burger with my choice of toppings and a poutine. It was all very good and I will recommend this restaurant. I would recommend going with another person and splitting the poutine or the fries. The portions are very large and more than most people could comfortably finish on their own.
