Paneer tikka Frankie was outstanding, also ordered saag paneer with roti which is best combo. At last masala tea was incredible.

The dosas are really crispy and so is the Gobi 65. Large portions.

Had a chance of having lunch here. Biryanis got the authentic taste of India with full of flavors. Service was fast. Had a great experience with great good

As regular customers, we always appreciated their food, but our latest visit left us feeling disrespected and unwelcome. We called ahead to confirm they were taking orders, yet when we arrived, we were rudely informed that they could not serve us, without any attempt to communicate their policies clearly or courteously beforehand. What was most disheartening was the tone and attitude of the staff, particularly the owner, who came across as dismissive and unprofessional. It is understandable that every establishment has protocols, but it is the responsibility of the management to ensure these are clearly conveyed to customers in a polite manner. The way this situation was handled lashing out and showing no concern for customer satisfaction was unacceptable. We were left feeling as though they were trying to rush us out instead of finding any solution or explanation for the confusion. The owner s response to our concerns only made matters worse. Instead of taking accountability and showing genuine empathy, the reply was defensive and further reinforced the lack of professionalism. The dismissive tone made it evident that they prioritized enforcing their rules over fostering a welcoming environment for loyal customers. Businesses thrive on repeat customers and word-of-mouth recommendations, but this experience makes it hard to recommend AHA Indian Food Paradise to anyone. Customer service is not just about the food; it s about the overall experience, and sadly, this establishment has failed in that regard. If you are looking for a restaurant that values and respects its customers, I recommend looking elsewhere. We had high hopes, but this experience has left a lasting negative impression.

We ordered for paneer 65 biryani and schezwan rice , paneer 65 biryani felt as if some paneer sabzi was put in it :/ and also the salan tasted like sambhar. The schezwan rize was burnt . Maybe next time I can try the dosas instead of the biryani .

Poor customer service.

This review is not to create any bad impression but to aware but if you take an order either serve it or before taking an order just say you cannot serve. We called especially prior going there just to hear oh we cant take your order. Or else have some respect of conveying your message in a soft tone rather than lashing out on other person especially when your protocols arent well communicated among your staff members. Not saying they are bad people but just felt they could be a little polite. Was a very regular customer always was nice to them but hated the way their owner treated us ;not professional. Just felt like they wanted to just kick us out and close the restaurant.

Biryani was tasty

Everybody raves about the chicken dum biryani and the bejawada boneless chicken biryani. Up until today we had been ordering only those two but today we tried the chicken ghee roast biryani and it was the best of the lot !!

Im excited about their second location in Surrey! We used to drive to Aldergrove, but this location is fancy and has a good upscale look inside compared to their other branch. I had Chicken Dum Biryani takeout and found it to be good. I would rate the Hyderabadi Chicken Dum biryani 8.5/10, veg paneer 65 biryani is not our taste 6/10 because paneer flavor is more chinese Mutton Dum Biryani is 9/10, although the price is a bit expensive for some items considering the Surrey location. Quantity is good, and taste is also close to actual hyderabadi restaurant. Update: Decreased the rating from 5 to 3 because from last 1 - 2 months we ordered different Biryanis and they all are not good, sometimes its salty, sometimes its too much masala or no masala. Please use whatever measurements you used when its opened.

I recently visited Aha with friends after hearing rave reviews about their mutton biryani, and I have to say, it lived up to every bit of the hype! We ordered the ghee mutton biryani, naan, and Andhra chicken curry, and each dish was absolutely delicious. The experience was made even better by Rose, who served us with the warmest smile and grace despite the restaurant being busy. It seemed a bit short-staffed, but Rose handled it all effortlessly, making us feel well taken care of. I ll definitely be coming back! I have ordered boneless biryani and I have received biryani with bone regarding this is I have tried to explain with the restaurant manager but the way he responded was so rude and I never recommend this restaurant to anyone

Great good - very tasty and good portion!

We hosted a party for 14 on September 21, 2024, and everything was flawless! The Chicken biryani, goat curry, and corn spinach fritters were amazing, but the real standout was the Apricot delight dessert an absolute must-try! A special thanks to Prasad, the owner, who was humble, cooperative, and ensured everything went smoothly. The staff was equally fantastic, providing excellent service. Highly recommend!

They have a wide range of dishes and I was pleasantly surprised with the taste and quality of all their dishes. They make both south and North Indian dishes and I have loved all of them so far.

I ordered chicken 65 and chicken fried rice on Oct 10 evening . Chicken 65 stinks , chicken fried rice only paprika taste. Never seen fried rice like that. Very unpleasant evening

The somochas were fresh made. It tastes really good with the provided sauces. The masala dosa was good too. We will visit again for the masala tea and probably for the dum biryani.

Literally the best indian food in Canada, and I ve tried a LOT, amazing menu, many options, you can find all the classics, and even new and creative dishes, such as chicken tikka dosa (my favourite). I have never seen a restaurant have indian food from all regions and do them all so well. Amazing restaurant, highly recommend.

Extremely disappointed with the behaviour of the receptionist. I just wanted to modify the order as it was told the preparation will take more than 25mins and I requested to change the order but She s not ready to listen what I need, It was clear that the receptionist had no interest in assisting me which made the entire interaction uncomfortable. I hope the management takes this feedback seriously and works on improving their customer service.

All food cravings came to end when I visit AHA Indian food restaurant. Staff especially Jasmin she was so sweet, extremely friendly and always smiling while servicing. Really appreciate food was amazing. Highly recommend.

Go to place in the king George area for idli and dosa. So far I have tried dosa, pakoras, biryani and main course. Everything is good. No complaints. They are very accommodating as well. No diaper changing station in the female bathroom. I had to change my baby s diaper on the same couch where we ate. There was no soap in the bathroom too. I had to run around to get it and the staff had no idea how to put it in dispenser. The lady at the counter taking order looks sleepy all the time. You don t feel welcome in This place. Food is okay.

8/10 food 0/10 service Great food. One of the most terrible services I have experienced yet. When we asked for a table for 5 they just said We dont have a table for 5 When asked how much the wait was they said 10 minutes... We waited for a good 10 minutes after receiving the table for anyone to talk to us. After this, a server just dropped 5 menus on the table and went away. We had to explain everything to them at least twice and even then the server sent someone else to double-check. We had ordered an extra appetizer midway while eating. Because it took a while after we had finished and it hadnt come yet, we asked if they had forgotten to add it. And if they had indeed forgotten, to NOT add it anymore as it had already been a while and we wanted to just leave. They ignore that and proceeded to send the ticket after this and made us wait even more. 8/10 food 0/10 service.

Wow! This place is absolutely phenomenal. I ve been 2 X and tried a number of different dishes. The butter chicken, paneer byriani and mutter panner are my favourites so far!

The food is so yummy and delicious. We ate masala dosa, Mysore dosa, uttapam and Gulab jamun cheese cake

Beautiful restaurant with the most delicious Indian dishes that I ve ever had. I ve never had goat that tasted so good! They also have a kids friendly menu which was great for my son. We had an incredible waitress don t know her name but she was over the top with exceptional service. Highly recommend this restaurant.

Today, we enjoyed a delightful dinner at Aha Indian Food Paradise. We ordered the Hyderabad Chicken Dum Biryani, which was absolutely excellent in taste and the quantity was more than sufficient. The food rates are reasonable, and the service provided by the staff was top-notch. The management was also very interactive, ensuring everything went smoothly. Overall, it was a five-star experience. Highly recommended!

One of the best places to try Indian food. Ambience is pleasant. We tried their ghee karam idli, punugulu and samosa chat. Ghee karam idli and punugulu is recommended and samosa chat is average.

Biryani is good (4/5). Dosa is okay (2.5/5), but masala in dosa is bland & also chutney is bland & cold, and the quantity of chutney for dosa was bare minimum (come on management, Dosa can only be enjoyed with tasty chutney). Clean your water cups...they give off bad odor

Stumbled on this place while in Surrey. I eat Indian a lot because its one of my favorites, and this might just be the best Indian food Ive ever had. We ordered the goat saag, okra gujja, and andhra chicken if I remember the names right. The goat fell right off the bone, the chicken was tender, and the okra was so fresh. Such great flavors and colors! Our server was very kind and attentive. The kitchen even made me a haldi doodh off-menu because I had a cold. Ill definitely remember this spot when Im back in Vancouver. And easy to get to from Surrey train station.

Came for the first time. Ordered chole bhature which i will not recommend. Bhature was too oily. Ordered 65 paneer biryani which was decent. Also in the bill they charged sales tax 5% but no GST number mentioned in the receipt. Is it a scam?? Food

Apricot dessert deserves all the starts! Tried few of their Biryani selection and curries, all taste perfect. For a flavor challenge try the Gongura goat curry which has a tangy kick while the meat is tender and well cooked. Tried a Dosa and that was good too! I safely say the food at AHA is fresh and delicious. Kudos to the chef and staff! Recommend. P.S. Spice levels can catch you off guard sometimes!

I don t know if the atmosphere or the service was worse. I felt like I was in a classroom where I was being punished for a being a bad student where the punishment would be the food. The server was like a jailer and the atmosphere was depressing. I m never gonna be back again where I was robbed off of $90 unless I wanna punish myself for some reason

I tried the Hydrabadi vegetarian dum biryani. Really liked the taste, aroma and the quantity is quite good. They give you options for different spice level. (medium spicy is ACTUAL INDIAN SPICY).

The service and atmosphere are very nice but the food was absolutely disappointing and of poor quality. I ordered a masala dosa and it tasted burnt and it was extremely oily, I think they used butter.. and had a weird bitter taste. The coconut chutney was definitely expired, and I felt that the chutneys were store bought, none of that tasted authentic. The sambar also didn t taste like it was freshly made or authentic. The at s the issue with restaurants that don t specialize in one type of cuisine but rather have 100s of menu options :(. Really disappointed. Totally regret my visit here.

The taste of food here is absolutely delicious and delightful. One of my favourites are mirchi baji and chicken dum biriyani which has classic touch of pure South Indian taste. If you are the ones who loves South Indian food i would definitely recommend this one trust me guys you are not going to get disappointed.

I have been tried both the aldergrove and Surrey loction the food consistency was fabulous and taste wise both are top knock and must try apricot delight dessert and biryanis and also definitely should try the authentic South Indian dosas

Service is bad , when we first came they didn t bother to receive us and they just served the food in bowls plates were not given , We took punugalu which was so hard and chutney was tasting like stale Water wasn t served too

We ordered food for a birthday party yesterday for 12 people ( SURREY LOCATION). I wish I could give less than one star as a rating. The manager Prasad Kangalapati is a big scam. He said 4 large sabji will be good enough for 12 adults and 5 kids people. But To be honest it is enough only for 5 adults ( 4 sabji). He also took more money ( very expensive). I would never ever go again and I would recommend everyone not to go there and give orders for any birthday or any party.
