Food & service both are good . My staples are authentic butter chicken, chicken chilli & honey chilli cauliflower.

Great food and price, also excellent service by the staff who checked up on us many times. Ordered the Lamb Vindaloo, Butter chicken and Fish Pakora, delicious!!

Food quality is going down. Ordered chicken tikka masala and gravy was sweet and undercooked. Ordered chilly chicken but it was too dry. Biryani was not as flavourful as before. Will be thinking twice now before ordering and consider other options. No longer my recommended place.

My favorite Indian place and lunch specials are great value for many years. Recently had take out chicken curry they tasted different then what I have been used to. Hope its an anomaly. The place does not seem like much from the outside. Inside has been nicely renovated although washroom could be better.

This is my familys go to Indian food spot. We live in Coquitlam and drive across the bridge into Surrey to pick up the most delicious Indian food around on fairly regular basis. If you want good quality food you cant go wrong here.

We are visiting this resturant from last 2 years and they delivered 5 star service always. What happened to this store from last 3 months. Firstly, order through uber, provide me really oily and cold food called to store they issue credit for that after sending photos through whatsapp. Last sunday, visited for dine-in again they provide us cold naan and we didn t complain anything. When it comes to desert, gazar halma was really cold. After discussing with our credit , they concluded its only for take out orders. Is this the way to treat your loyal customers? Also, what kind of management exist in store who are making these decisions. Never gonna come back after 3 times horrible experience back to back.

Chicken curry was delicious, as was the butter chicken. Was not busy when l went in, though that didnt last long. I will definitely going to be going back before l go back to Calgary.

I had a wonderful dining experience at this restaurant! Not only was the food absolutely delicious, but the staff went above and beyond to make my visit stress-free. As a parent, eating out can sometimes be challenging, but they were so kind and offered to hold my baby while I enjoyed my meal. It was such a thoughtful gesture that allowed me to relax and savor the great food. Definitely a place I ll be returning to. Highly recommend for both the fantastic food and the exceptional service!

I have been ordering food from them for over 10 years ...they were really good but unfortunately the quality has gone down .. Multiple times we have been disappointed recently, I even tried to give constructive feedback as I want them to do good in Fleetwood but the owner has no interest/time to talk to customer to get feedback. Had a great time at Chef s Kabab in Fleetwood for my mom s birthday! The food was on point as always, and Jasleen, our server, was amazing. She made sure we were well taken care of and even added some nice touches for the birthday cake, which was super thoughtful. Big shoutout to her for helping make the night special. My first time here and it did not disapoint. Jasleen was an amazing server. Food came quick and was full of flavor! I had an appy cauliflower with a honey sauce , garlic nann bread and channa masala. I live far from this place but i wiulf drive the hour again for this food and service! I even got a free dessert too! Its clean and very elegant inside. By far my favourite Indian restaurant in all of Vancouver. Very delicious food and amazing service especially by Hasan, Prerna, and Anureet who are great at their job and make us feel very welcome every time.

Disappointing Experience Our recent visit to this establishment was unfortunately marred by several service issues. The staff seemed disorganized and inexperienced, which significantly impacted our dining experience. Extended Wait Time: After placing our order, we were left waiting for approximately 40 minutes without any updates or attention from the staff. Order Confusion: When the staff finally approached our table, they appeared to have no record of our order, asking us to repeat it. This level of disorganization is concerning for a dining establishment. Staff Expertise: It seemed that the employees lacked proper training or experience in the hospitality industry. This was evident in their handling of basic service procedures. We strongly recommend that management invest in hiring experienced staff from within the hospitality sector and implement comprehensive training programs. These steps could greatly improve the overall dining experience and customer satisfaction. We hope that this feedback will be taken constructively to enhance the restaurants operations and customer service in the future.

Worst experience waiting for your order . while people came later almost had half their meals I have to change my review after 2 years as today the way they treated us was so unfair that we have to left the table without eating after spending 40 mins , management must look into it .

Ive been an infrequent customer of this restaurant since their early days in 2012, they consistently serve delicious Indian food. Vegetarian options: Lots of fantastic vegetarian options. Parking: Ive never had a problem parking here.

A small place but we love their fish pakora! Its the best I have eaten so far. The pakora is plenty of fish and breaded lightly so you can taste the fish. The nan bread stuffed, garlic ir plain are delish. WIsh they made it bigger per order though. Overall food is always tasty and the waitress is always pleasant and gave us great service. Keep up the great job!

I love getting takeout from Chefs Kebab as their food is finished quick and always well packaged and hot. I usually get the Palak Paneer (paneer could use a little more marinating), Daal Makhani, chicken biryani, and Lamb curry. If you ask for spicy you will get a medium spice. The only downside is their lamb korma is not my favourite so if that s you re go to order, get it somewhere else.

I have been going to Chefs Kebab regularly for years now - about the time they opened, around 2011 / 2012 and it is consistently very good . The staff are friendly and helpful. The building is a little rough on the outside, dont let that fool you, it just adds to the charm. Inside the space is updated and comfortable. its worth a try!

Always a great experience at Chefs Kebab. I live in the neighborhood so its incredibly convenient to order food for take out or dine in when you want somewhere to eat comfort food. We had a great experience and Jasleens service was very pleasant. The food we ordered was: Chicken Tikka Channa Bhatura Daal Makhni + Naan The prices were affordable and you get your bang for your buck.

I love this place! The atmosphere is fun and family friendly. Its so welcoming to all walks of life and a plus for people who are disabled. They made sure I didnt eat or drink anything I could have a reaction to and double checked with kitchen staff. These people go about and beyond the call as a restaurant. The food cant complete when it comes to authentic traditions and makes a perfect comfort food for myself. The coffees here have become my new favorite things to enjoy. Good veggie pakora

Ive ordered from Chef Kebab several times and the food is always delicious. You can get different heat levels depending on your palette. After Im done eating Im always left satisfied Parking: Its a small area for parking but its right by the restaurant

I ordered the chicken tikka masala letting them know that I have a sensitivity to bell peppers and cant eat them. When it arrived I noticed there were bell peppers and sent it back. It was an accident on their part, they acknowledged it and were very kind. They didnt charge me and gave me more rice. I really appreciated their service! We had chicken curry and the chicken kebab special with rice and they were both delicious.

- samosa s are appetizing, unlike the kick back onshore, but worth a try. - chai, to my delight was really good. - we ve had tandoori chicken here, but I wouldn t vouch for it. - mixed vegetables, paneer Kadhai were pretty alright Update: 7/14 - we were served samosas that had sour filling, they did apologize however it is appalling and abysmal that the kitchen staff is ignorant and doesn t inspect/ audit the food before sending it out for guests. Huge food safety concern, and the staff kept covering the kitchen staff, saying it was heat wave. Very naive & noobish! The chicken biryani uses chicken wings, and wasn t served hot.

Pocket friendly and great quality

First best thing i see is the ring button on all the tables so that nobody feels ignored and waiting for something. I ordered tangdi chicken kebab and chicken tikka afghani (both HOT) and i had the best kebabs and tikka after Amritsari food. It is great taste and i love it. Must try the kebabs guyz. They serve yummy chutney and salad also on the side. I am going to post empty plates picture because i ate it so fast and realized after that i had to click pictures before and put a review too. Vegetarian options: They have vegetarian food too.

I went with family to dine in . Our dine out was ruined when I found a metal piece in one of the fish Pakoras . I bite on it and it ( metal ) piece damaged my tongue and it bleed . And I learned it was metal piece in the fish piece . I won t dine in there anymore. Food

I was excited to order from this restaurant with high reviews and popularity. I ordered take out as I was craving spicy thick noodles and with lamb. The person on the phone was nice and explained couldnt do it with lamb or beef so ended up with chicken noodles and chose the thick noodles. We also ordered a chicken dish saying crispy spicy chicken but both the noodles and chicken description did not match their titles. The noodles were not thick, also was not spicy, and they were overcooked mushy. For having such professional advertising showing chefs being trained wouldnt expect noodles to be so overly cooked. Also the crispy chicken was not crispy or spicy. In fact the taste was a bad ketchup taste, wasnt pleasant and didnt match the description. It was a high end restaurant and price was also high but I dont mind paying big money for good quality tasty food which was not this. It was something an amateur would cook at home and not a real deal chef. I wont be ordering from here after this but the place looked nicely renovated and seems like they can have good customer service if I was eating in.

I order regularly from this restaurant and food was always excellent but today it s not the same taste. Just realized from the pamphlet inside the bag that is under a new name now. The naans were so chewy that we end up giving up and the daal makhani was ok but not the same taste. Hope the new guys will keep the quality to win the flow of customers.

Really disappointed with quality of their food. I ordered goat curry and garlic naans and both of them were worst. I will give them zero in terms of taste, never gonna order again.

Wastage of money due to food is not quality based

Food is great, but they will mess up your order if in a rush. Always make sure with them, check your to go bag before you leave so you can ask them to fix their mistake, if they are in a rush. When they are in a rush, they will swap out your fish pakora for a paneer pakora, or forget to give you sauces for all of your orders. I know Chefs Kebab can do better!

Went here for lunch because I was craving butter chicken but there was a piece of metal shaving inside the rice. There was another piece that I found later but I did not record that one. Disappointed. No metal should be going in food.

Food portions are very generous and reasonably priced. Service could be improved more smiles and frequently checking if we need anything else. Water glass was filled after we were seated and not refilled after that. Back Areas visible when walking over to the Washroom/Restroom area. Recommend that the management chexk that these areas are out of view from customers. Parking: Large parking area in the rear of the restaurant. Wheelchair accessibility: Restaurant is located on the Ground Floor easily accessible entrance area.

We bought a plethora of dishes from here in the past two years. Pros: I love their veg Manchurian, Kulchas, Chole Bhature, and Gajar halwa. Veg Biryani from Chefs Kebab needs a special mention! One of the promising places to get biryani in Surrey. Spices are so flawlessly put in it. Cons: Just need a little bit of work with seatings and service departments.

I tried choya chaap, it was really good. But all people working there looked frustrated with their jobs, specially the one serving everyone. Other dishes I tried there weren t that good.

We regularly order from this outlet as their food is really good, but our dine-in experience recently was something else entirely. The food was still great, and the ambience was decent too. However, service was a different story altogether. The food took a while to come, and when it did, it didnt follow the sequence that we requested: appetizers first, main course later. The servers were confused about it too, but they decided to put on our table an item of the main course while assuring that the appetizers were on their way. The food was kept but without any plates. For up to 15 minutes, the food waited on the table as the servers didnt deem it fit to give us plates despite our request. It was only after a third server casually enquired if we needed anything did we get the chance to tell them again that we were waiting for the plates and the food was getting cold on the table. This lack of coordination can really dent the image of this restaurant because their food is amazing.

Best Indian food around by far! Dine in to get the best taste as naan takeout from any place is not as fluffy or soft. If you do takeout I suggest roti instead. 5 stars. Update 8/7/2018: Dined in a while ago and food was not the same. Lamb curry tasted different and naan was tough. Asked waitress if there was a new cook and she said no. Upon leaving saw a lady cooking and usually see a man, dont know if she was the chef for the day but food was not up to their normal standard. My wife said her butter chicken also tasted different, hope this was a one time thing! Have to lower their star rating because of this, consistency is very important in the food business. Update 1/14/19 Food is back to normal the last few times here which is great news . Hopefully it stays this way. Back to 4 stars. Guys its important to keep food quality consistent. If your cost to make food increases, raise the price, dont lower quality to meet existing prices. Update 3/4/2024 Again food was not great. Butter chicken had drumsticks in it. Ive never seen this at any restaurant. Think they gave me leftover chicken. You cant eat butter chicken with drumsticks with naan. Worse it was the special of the day so they should have had a lot of chicken in stock. The #1 reason restaurants fail is inconsistent food quality. You lose repeat business which is the key to making it.

Great place to dine in or take out.

Just a plain horrible experience. I read other people mention the same experience. Have been visiting them since past 5 years. Last time i visited was about 2 weeks ago. The staff could not have been more rude. They were smashing our food on the table, the energy and vibe was horrible. Not just one but multiple servers. We could see it happening on other tables as well. I asked for the manager on duty and there was no one available. A guy took initiative to listen to what happened, kudos for talking charge. I asked him to note down my number and have the manager call me. Been waiting on the call back since two weeks. Such an ignorant management is what drives businesses to have a permanent closed sign.

Food was pretty good overall and service was on par as well. I just wish they had better sweet Lassi. I had specifically asked the server to make it only if their Dahi wasnt soury(Khatta). I think poor thing tried her best so nothing against her but someone should try and see how fresh Lassi tastes and perhaps try to use fresh yogurt if possible. Other than that we were pretty happy with the food and service.

I ordered eggplant bharta, paneer lababdar and dal makhani. Eggplant bharta and dal makhani was good but paneer lababdar was not good, lot of tomato curry, just few paneer cubes and Butter nan was worst, below average even if I compare to any other restaurant in Surrey.

I have been Chef Kebab Customer from 2021 and earlier the food is really good, but since 1 year I have been noticing their poor quality of food and also their service and staff behavior is really rude and they dont want to listen to complains and also trying to convince and feel that you are wrong but they are right. Sharing yesterdays incident. I ordered Chicken Tikka and Garlic Nan since the ordered was getting ready I though to use washroom. As soon I came from the washroom the food was on my table and I was smelling some foul smell. After smelling my chicken Tikka I realized that the chicken was foul and un-fresh. I also took a bite to ensure that I was right. I wasnt surprised the food was absolutely un-fresh and foul. I complained to the female server and she had no clue what I was talking as looked like and untrained server. She called her so called senior server who came and said how can he help, I said I dont need help I just need fresh food as this is stinking. I went inside kitchen and came back again saying that the chef says the food is absolutely fresh and if I dont like he can replace the dish, in return I said I dont even want to eat here as you guys dint want to understand that u have been serving spoiled food to your customers. I think its a very long review but important for customers to know and also health authorities and Fraser health should know what is happening in the industry. I dint paid anything so I am not looking for any compensation.

Great help from Prerna and Kamal

This is my regular spot for good eats, lunch specials and late night (open until midnight). It has a lot of parking in a safe location and is newly renovated. The staff is amazing as always; we had Kamal and Prerna that provided great service.

Great food, nice ambience and fantastic service. We tried Paneer tikka, soya chaap, daal makhan, and paneer lababdaar. Paneer tikka, daal makhan, Missi roti, and tandoori roti is must try. My kids loved soya chaap too. I also want to recognize Prerna and Kamal for their great service.

Perfect place for casual dining.

The food was amazing. The portion size of the thali was a lot. Quick customer service and the pricing was decent too compared to other restaurants.

The food tastes good and is authentic.

Went to this restaurant the other day with my partner around 10:30pm. Greetings and service could be done a little better but the food definitely saves the service we got. We had the Tuesday special (butter chicken with naan) for $10 and that was delicious with a decent portion. We also tried the jackfruit kebab which was different but also very yummy if you like to try new things, I d give that a shot. We also had a paneer dish with roti.. was too good! This place is decent, last call for food&drinks are 11:30pm although they close their doors at midnight.
