Vry bad service for delivery order

We had chole bhature, paneer pokaras, and chai. Everything tasted amazing, and the spice level was perfect for us. However, the service could improve. The 2 ladies at the front didnt know English at all and were struggling to understand us. The place was a bit crammed, and bathrooms were out of order.

I had an unfortunate experience at Payal Chat House. While the food tasted good, the service left much to be desired. I called in my order for bhel puri and papdi chaat with bhalla at 4:38 pm on Saturday, October 7th, 2023, and was told it would be ready in 10 minutes for takeout. However, when I arrived after 10 minutes, my order wasnt ready, and I was told to wait another three minutes. During this time, I even filled my water bottle and used the restroom, but no one seemed to notice or care about my presence. Around 4:58 pm, I inquired again about my order, and they said it would take an additional two to three minutes. Finally, they informed me that they only had papdi chaat and not bhel puri. I was quite hungry by this point as I hadnt had lunch, and I asked why they hadnt informed me earlier about the unavailability. Unfortunately, there was no apology or acknowledgment of the inconvenience. The service continued to disappoint when I paid for my order. Despite requesting a receipt, I was told there were no customer receipts, and I should take a picture of the merchant copy. To add to the frustration, there were no utensils or tissues provided in the package, leaving me to eat my papdi chaat with bhalla by hand. I recall that the owner and an elder sister who used to be there before were delightful, with excellent customer service and a friendly attitude. However, based on my recent experience with the current staff, I dont plan to return to Payal Chat House in the future. Its disheartening to feel mistreated as a customer.

We ordered chilli paneer which was served as a regular paneer sabzi instead of fried paneer. Then they gave us kadai paneer which was again average in taste. The ice-cream in falooda was literally frozen and didn t even look or taste like falooda. Moreover the biggest concern was the contamination of frozen seafood with frozen desserts. Overall the food was below average in taste and presentation. Bad experience and totally waste of money.

We ordered Pao Bhaji, and the waitress, who we had to beg to take our order, informed us that they dont have it. They actually dont serve it, even though its on the menu. Okay. Then we ordered chicken noodles. It was the most disgusting food I have ever had it was completely lacking in salt and spices. The chicken tasted weird as we are guessing it was not fresh. I mentioned this to the server, and she was not professional at all. She just handed us some salt. Other dishes were also missing spices and were extremely poorly made. The floor was sticky and not clean. The behavior of the staff was very poor. Maybe the locals dont mind, but we actually drove 30 minutes one way to get there. We were completely dissatisfied with the money we spent.

Last night, I ordered dahi bhalla, tiki, and a mango shake, and I must say, it was an incredible experience. The flavors were perfectly balanced, and it felt as though each dish was made with genuine love and care. Tried the chana tikki and papdi chaat which very tasty and full of flavours. The chicken biryani was amazing and caught us by surprise (in a good way). While ordering i wrote special note tp double check the quantity if its in buy one get 2. They packed one plate in teo boxes to make it two. And Payal Chaat House is worst restaurant in surrey for cleaning. You can see fruit flies everywhere in restaurant and their washrooms are filthy always. This thing happened in past thats why i wrore special note for this. But i think they dont care the notes at all.

Everytime long wait for orders

Food is great, also servers are really sweet. I met a young girl by name Gagan, she was really good with her job. It took me a while to decide the order but she was patient and helped me choosing items. Chef there, did a great job with food too.

We ordered three plates of chaat papri and one Amritsari kulcha. Honestly, it was the worst chaat papri I ve ever had. The Amritsari kulcha was soggy and tasted like it had been sitting around for a while before being reheated. We ended up eating only half of the chaat papri and discarded the rest.

I came here to dine in and we ordered our food and the thing is the food was outstanding and very delicious. One more thing to add is that the service is also very good, we were served by the girl named Gagan. Would recommend to visit this place.

We ordered 20 pack Golgappe and when we were about to eat, we noticed that the red chutney stinks and even the water did not taste good at all. They really need to check their food before giving it to the customer because if the red chutney had gone bad and somebody eats it then it could badly affect someone s health.

One of the worst experience to be seen here as some items were missing like I order 4 items and I receive only 2 and when I call them they said call to the uber driver. After that they said that order again any single item so we will add those 2 items and I do the same and I also write a note so they can remember but they didnt add again those 2 missing items. Decreased portions in takeout

I ordered my whole food vegetarian as a pure vegetarian they gave both vegetarian dish as butter chicken dish . When i called to to raise the issue they told me we gave the correct order and didnt even say sorry or tried to say we ll take care from next time instead of that they told that uber messed up as clearly i can see on my receipt that they made the mistake not uber . I would never recommend any vegetarian to buy any item from this store . Worst customer service

I ordered the gol gappe from here like always and there s never been an order issue but this time when I ordered from Uber eats from this place I got it and the filling smelt like it had gone bad and expired. Just taking it out of the bag I could smell and when I opened it to check you could clearly smell it and see it had gone bad. I always loved the gol gappe from here but this just ruined for me. Never ordering anything from here ever again. The quality had gone down over time and it s evident from the quantity they put from all the other times I ve placed an order but I always gave them a benefit of the doubt. Don t waste your money

I called store and I informed them, they were unprofessional and told me to contact Uber to refund even I told them I m not looking for refund. My party got ruined.
