Royal Choice Indian Cuisine in Surrey

Very rude people working here. We ordered the dal tadka today with. As we received dal makhani instead of dal tadkaa we called the restaurant. The girl on the call was so rude and argued that dal tadka is similar as dal makhani and hung up the call on us. The results concluded as the restaurant did honour/replaced dal tadka. Though, we won t recommend this restaurant anymore to anyone especially the person working there doesn t know the differences for food curries. No No for this place !!!

Their palak panner and lacha parathe are best in the town .

Worst experience if your not serving customers dine in after 10 just change the time . Came twice now and was turn around. We used to dine a lot at this place but now it seems very unlikely.

The food is good quality specially the curries. We didn t like the indo Chinese here as noodles were not so good. But you can t go wrong with regular curries like daal, paneer.

Seems like their chef had no idea how to make it. But their food is not royal at all. It was made in rush and not with care.

I just got takeout, and I have to say, it was amazing! I ordered the white sauce pasta etc and it tasted so good super creamy and full of flavor. I even called them to ask for some changes, and they nailed it. Everything was just the way I wanted. I m definitely going to order from here again soon! Dietary restrictions: They take care of all dietary requirement like gluten free food, vegen food. For example, for vegan person they use coconut milk instead of regular milk while cooking.

The Channa Bhatura was super tasty! I really enjoyed dining in because the place was so peaceful and chill. If you re looking for a nice spot to relax and have a good meal, I definitely recommend checking this place out. Parking: Free parking spot, also parking is available all the time.

Really disappointed! I ordered vegetarian dish and I was served shredded chicken pieces inside it. I was fasting today and this spoiled everything! Worst experience ever!

One of the best butter chickens Ive had in town. Their chicken was fresh, tender and juicy and their naans were also quite good. Along with that, their mango lassi is just outstanding! This place is a must visit!

Delicious Butter chicken , loved it

I picked up dinner one night a few months back. The Curry was amazing, I had eggplant in a spicy sauce...it was so good! The food was well served they seem clean back in the kitchen. I waited a bit for my order, so I watched them prepare. The staff were very kind and polite... Not sure what fake chicken the complaint is about...but all the food I picked up was well cooked served and very real tasting. It was all so very good! Parking: parking right out front and easy to get on and off 108th or 147th.

Excellent service & food. Shoutout to the waitress.. attentive & genuine service. Everything we had was yummy. Kadai Paneer, Achari Chicken Tandoor, Rumali roti. Edit: 1 year update: food is still awesome as ever. Their palak paneer is my new favorite. You can always tell a good restaurant by how flavorful their palak paneer is.

The go to restaurant for home like food in north Surrey. You can t go wrong with any choice. The most recommended dish from our family is Methi Malai Paneer. The good thing is they have two sizes available for amount of curries so that families can choose larger quantities. Food quality, quantity and taste has been consistent. I would recommend Royal Choice Indian Cuisine for individual and catering orders. Keep up the good work !!!

Ordered Amritsari chole kulche on Uber last night and along with raw onions they sent me a small bunch of STAPLE PINS!! Should have taken a photo but then it wasnt mixed with anything but just lying alongside raw onions. Be careful with these guys.

Truly disappointed, I am in a rush and asked how long will it take for the food to pickup before I placed the order . I took a detour of my journey and reached more than the 5mins time they mentioned the food will be ready . After I reached there for pickup , they asked my order and then they started preparing. I don t see any other customer and it s off peak hours . Really disappointed why do they have to make false promises on the delivery time , why don t they start preparing soon after they took the order to meet the commitment they have told for delivery

First time trying Royal Choice and I ordered Goat curry and garlic naan takeout and it was great experience , good customer service their Garlic naan is the best! Goat curry is good however more pieces of meat would be appreciated! Definitely needs more meat! I would give 7/10 for goat curry 10/10 for garlic naan.

Do not try the chicken biriyani! No Salt no flavour at all.. Very disappointing cz I love the other dishes in here

Ordered Chole Bhature. Asked the chef (he is also the owner) to make it spicy just as Punjabi taste is for this, because twice earlier chole were bland when we ate there. He agreed but again it was very bland. Then, he offered to give some raw red onion to make the taste a bit spicy. That did not help. Later, he acknowledged that he did not know how to make chole properly in that spicy taste and also billed us for the onion he gave to compensate for the bland taste. He did not mention earlier that he would charge for the onion. Wish I could give negative stars for this review.

I ordered bread pakora from Royal Choice Indian cuisine. I took first bite and there hard plastic. I would have bled from my mouth or swallowed it. I reported to Uber and called the restaurant but no action was taken.

I ordered samosas and waited for 25-30. I checked my order in 3-4 minutes. Samosas were not even fresh. I called them to explain they hanged up on me. I called again and the owner/ manager answered he was blaming on cold weather. And hanged up. Worse food and customer service.

Very nice hospitality. The food was really good and in large quantity. They gave us complimentary drink and dessert as well. Definitely recommend.

The food is decent when made correctly. The spice levels are very inconsistent, the samosas are quite greasy. My biggest issue is with any adjustments requested. I typically order the chaat papri without the yogurt (explicitly disclosing allergy) but its almost always ignored. Once or twice can be excused, but its happened more times than not. Vegetarian options: A lot of meat-free options. Dietary restrictions: Do not order from here if you have dietary restrictions. They dont seem to care whatsoever.

This place is fast, friendly, clean and cheaper than and the food is really good. I ordered coconut curry chicken, I was really really good. Chicken was perfectly cooked and fresh unlike other Indian restaurants. I didnt have to order naan as a seperate item as it came with my curry along with Gulab jaamun. Ill definitely go here again & highly recommended.

Amazing food

Tried their food the first the time months ago and the chowmein was good. Then we dined in and their food quantity was very low compared to their price. The food taste is not that good either, it s average. Their one sabji is like 15$ which does not translate to the quantity or the taste of the food itself. We also ordered spring rolls at the time and they literally were the ones I have at home which are the frozen ones from Walmart. The size, look, feel, width, length, the filling was the same. So disappointing. Asked the server to make spring rolls spicy and she said they come in a mixture and they are already made they can t make them spicy. The customer service itself was very, disappointing. The owner seems nice but the girl who was serving us came across as rude and like she didn t want to help us. Tried their paranthas and asked them to make it extra spicy, they were the most bland paranthas ever. I would not recommend this place. If you are looking to get authentic and tasty Indian food which is also not priced like their restaurant is in white rock or Vancouver, try swagat indian restaurant on 152 and 92. Way better.

I ordered lamb curry but received beef curry instead and the gravy tasted like squash stew and definitely not any lamb curry gravy I ve ever eaten in my whole life. I don t like being lied to about what I m paying for. This is not a place that I can trust them to sell me lamb curry. This experience was very upsetting and terrible for me. My husband, who is 100% Indian confirmed that it was beef in squash stew and not lamb curry that I was fooled into paying for. Never again!!! These people cannot get away with selling the public such gross food. I want to be able to trust the people who are serving me food that I m paying for to be honest people. I will NEVER EVER go back to this restaurant ever again and waste my hard earned money there, not one penny!!!!!

Excellent fresh malai kofta with a nice homemade roti on the side. The sekh kebab was delicious and homemade chutney added a brilliant experience to our dish. I would definitely order from this place again as I love veggie dishes and thus far, they have very fresh curries without over cooking the ingredients.

I ate here with my girlfriend and I am a chef by profession. It s a worst Indian cuisine restaurant there. This guy uses oil on butter naan instead of butter (told by one of his former employee who is supposed to be my girlfriend s friend). We ordered butter chicken from which the chicken had bad odor and flavor, my girlfriend being vegetarian we ordered shahi paneer had raw onion pieces and the gravy had raw onion flavor too, in appetizers we ordered veg pakora it was full of flour with really small veggie pieces and I tasted oil as the oil was old. While complaining about it the owner whose name is Mani never showed up on our table and was mean to his staff. When asked to the servers if they like this job and get good tips they told us the owner is making people work 11-12 hours without any break and don t even give them tips. Don t go to this place.

Went to guilford mall today and was craving indian this was close and looked good. Me and my sister got chole bhatura and they were the best ive had in all of surrey. Super affordable prices compared to other indian places. The portion and quantity was great and the food was amazing. I also got some to go for my family and they also enjoyed it. Will definitely be trying more food. Highly reccomend. Great service and friendly staff.

We were on a visit to Vancouver Canada. During our stay there we ordered veg and non-veg food from Royal Indian cuisine. The food was very tasty. The staff is very friendly especially the owner Manish talks to the customer and makes sure the customer is fully satisfied with the food and service.

I live in Coquitlam but I drive to Surry all the time only for the taste of Royal Choice restaurant. I love their fastfood, specially their noodles, samosas, and chat. Great Restaurants, with delicious food and friendly staff.

Really do NOT like to write negative review but after good size take out order strategically called in so I can pick it up a nice hot for dinner few mins away at dads place. Food was NOT hot and in fact most dishes were either lukewarm OR cold. Several of the items were sub par like the prawn vindaloo w only few pieces of prawns, curry fish seemed like deep fried pieces of leftovers, eggplant bhuarta was just ok . The one that triggered this negative review was the chicken tikka was cold and looking at it closely it tasted and looked like 2 day leftovers. For $100....Very disappointed...wont be back.

Wonderful experience with all the staff - they were courteous, welcoming and very friendly. The food was fantastic - we had butter chicken, chicken vindaloo, fried roti, basmati rice with veggie pakoras. We ordered and the waitress came out with our food promptly. They even had some kind of Bollywood MTV going on and got our kids dancing. The owner/chef came out and handed each of the kids with these wonderfully fried Indian milk doughnuts. Thank you for a great dinner evening for the family :)

I wish I had found this place earlier. I loved the food. I ordred because of the Rumali roti and it was on point. Liked the kadahi paneer garnished with ginger. I liked their price for the food and they give a complimentary naan or rice with a main course. Also, thank you for the complimentary gulab jamun.

It was very good food all the right spices so delicious it was fast from the order to get it the garlic naan was just melting in your mouth and the coconut butter chicken was just perfect plus the lamb biriani was very too

Greasy curry with undercooked chicken. The channa samosas were also very bland and mushy. The naans were extremely buttery and greasy. I just threw my entire order away. Never ordering from here again and youre better off at a different restaurant.

To name a few dishes we had till now are:- Veg thali, Veg Korma, Malai Kofta, Tandoori Roti, Rumali Roti, Veg Manchurian, Achari Chicken Tikka, Paneer Methi Malai, Mango shake, Gulab Jamun, etc. Food spice level is always prefect, authentic, clean, creamy, proper quality of oil, food quality is always A1.

Garbage food ! Full of tomato sauce . They put tomato sauce in every item. Never gonna order again
