Very disappointed with the food quantity as per high price when compared to another restaurant. Hardly 1 person serving. Had to order another dish. Need to increase the quantity or decrease the price. The garlic naans were not good too.

Was very excited to try their food as it was my first visiting. But was very disappointed. The price were really high the food was not even enough for 1 person. We had to order more dishes. The music was really high that you can t even tell your order to the server.

Very cool spot. The food was delicious! The service was friendly and helpful. Will come back for sure!!!

Hi! We hosted our office dinner at Showshaa . We were a large group of 33 people. Showshaa s team, including managers, owners and staff were extremely attentive of our needs . They were wonderfully pleasant to work with. Ashmeet personally hosted us through out our time at Showshaa. People often say that you cannot make everyone happy , but this event proved it wrong! It was absolutely blissful to work with them to plan, customise and execute this event with them. Everyone LOVED the food, drinks and desserts. Cheers! Great job Showshaa team. 3 stars because no doubt the food was delicious, ridiculous service. I was surprised about their customer service as we were there with family. We were 8 of us included our 3 kids.we were trying to call giving messages from 1 server to others about ordering our food. No one was caring. I been there before it wasn t like that.so awkward looking around for someone who can take our order as it wasn t even busy. We got the whole reason behind this because now tip amount is set, don t get me wrong they do deserve tip.since the tip amount is whatever they add you have to pay so they don t need to make extra effort to make their customers happy with there service.very disappointed once food on your table, no one even comes back to check on you if you need anything else.

She went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect, from recommending dishes to ensuring we had everything we needed. Server was rude. we went there on Sunday night group of 5 people. and indian girl (server) didn t even give us option to Tip. our bill was $600 and that was including her tip. she basically stole our money without out consent.. and already include her tip in our bill.. and even at the time of checkout , she didn t mention it.. and when my friend gave her $25 tip .. then she mentioned.. that tip was already included This is clearly stealing money .and legal action should be taken against her.

From the moment we walked in, Tejal made sure everything was perfect. She was incredibly sweet, with impeccable communication skills and a genuinely warm, attentive attitude. Tejal didn t just serve us; she elevated our entire evening by recommending the best drinks and starters and even surprising us with a complimentary birthday cake, which was such a thoughtful gesture. Tejal also went above and beyond by helping us take some lovely photos, adding a personal touch to the evening. Her down-to-earth demeanor and attentiveness truly stood out Ive never encountered a server as exceptional as Tejal in all my dining experiences. The food at Showshaw was outstanding delicious, flavorful, and presented beautifully. The drinks were equally impressive, and the restaurant itself was spotless and inviting. Without a doubt, this is the best restaurant in Surrey, and Tejal is the best server I ve ever met. Awesome fusion food experience in Surrey. Before I forget, UBER drops at the old address (where this restaurant previously existed - now that place is APNA CHAAT HOUSE). Just make sure if you re using UBER it shows the correct address for SHOWSHAA - 3020 152 Street. The Gol gappa (pani puri) was great tangy, spicy and pretty well balanced. The grilled fish and chicken malai tikkas were super delicious - tender, aromatic and tasty. Tried Delirium beer (~8% alcohol) - crisp and smooth. Lamb vindaloo and chicken biryani was a 7/10 for me. Their sizzlers seemed really nice but we had already ordered too much food. Coming back for sizzlers for sure. Vegetarian options: Paneer Tikka Sizzler is just outstanding!!

I remember Showsha being a high end restaurant before COVID but I think they haven t held so well since. Food and drinks are mediocre. Ambiance isn t too special either and considering, prices are too high.

I am writing to convey my deep disappointment with our visit to Showshaa this evening. The service was unacceptably poor. We encountered long delays in receiving our orders, and the staff seemed indifferent to our concerns and felt very rude. The dishes were lukewarm and lacked the flavor and quality that once made Showshaa a favorite of ours. Given our previous positive experiences, this visit was particularly disheartening. It is clear that the level of service and food quality has deteriorated significantly. Regrettably, based on this experience, we will not be returning to Showshaa in the future.

The waiter we had gave such a terrible experience when we went with our friends. We were a group a 8 and requested the mixed kebab platter to be all chicken as we don t take any other meat. We said it was ok for them to repeat the same kebabs, but nooooooope she just wouldn t even go and convey this to the kitchen and rejected us saying they can t customize. It wasn t customization it was a request to make it only chicken and no other meat. Worst experience made the entire evening bad.

First they take so much time to take your order and then you have to wait for your food and the food is also not that good. We ordered veg bullets which is overpriced and useless dish. And the other food was also not good at all as so much food color is added to the curry. Bad experience. Not a baby friendly.

So elegant interior, friendly servers. I visited with family for dinner. I am happy with the taste of food. I forgot server name but she is very lean and looks like Canadian or overseas girl happy with her customers service. I ordered fish and chips in starter along with sesame seeds coated paneer which is delicious. Veg dum biryani love the presentation serving pot and taste good . Paneer angara I get disappointed as I thought it will going to be served with some Smokey charcoal and taste ok, Malabar paratha not good layered and cooking method wrong not as per standard and butter naan and butter roti so thin layer like papad. Remains good and dessert good too.

One of the worst experiences I ever had at this place, made us wait 45 minutes beside the reservation, forgot the items in the order we gave, ordered butter naan got garlic naan ## critical one: gave allergen instructions for not adding mushrooms and they still added them in briyani. Though other food was good but these mess ups ruined the dining experience

Seekh kebab and malai were ok. China town sizzler - $25 definitely not worth the price. (3 stars) Zeher - stiff cocktail $15 Lychee Gimlet - $14 fruity and fun but couldn t taste the mango or the mango garnish Brownie Sizzler - $10 worth the drive just to come for this. She was adamant about having us take the one right in front of main door on a cold day. We also requested a more cozy space as the table right next to us was very loud & awfully drunk party of 8 people! She didnt even try, there were quite few available! They werent even busy as it was a weekday. Shocking experience! Used to be a nice place worth driving from Vancouver!

We recently went to this amazing Indian restaurant. The staff was super friendly and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed. KK, our chef gave us top-notch service. And the food? Visited Showshaa @ 152 street surrey on March 4 2024 with family for a birthday dinner celebration. Food quality was good but service was so bad that made me give a single star rating. First of all they didnt even provided us with napkins & cutlery which we have to request for after we got our appetizers. The worst was the server (Khushi) was in so much rush to clean the table even 3 persons were still eating and she started clearing plates from tables (this is a basic commonsense which is difficult to teach these makeshift students converted into servers) and didnt even ask for water which needed to refilled for all the guests. When we reminded her to give us water then she decided to serve other tables and again came to our table to clear used plates first instead to refill water. Eventually we have to walk to the counter to ask for water. This is a situation when half of the restaurant was empty which gave us an impression what could be the level of service in a rush time. The management needs to look into this otherwise loosing customer to so many other food options in city is a possibility. I dont recommend going to this place.

I went to showshaa on my birthday. The starters were okay, but the main course was not worth it, the lachha paranthas were not fresh !!!!! The attendant was very mean, weird and rude, her name was khushi. She was attending other customers properly, but not us!!! And when it was time to pay the bill and add tip, she started talking and tried being friendly. That s not good. Not satisfied with the service.

The ambiance of the place was really great (especially the playlist). The food was delicious and Tejal (server) was very helpful with a very positive attitude, explained the menu in a perfect way. A great experience overall.

We really enjoyed the food and the ambiance. Surprisingly, my favorite dish was the paneer tacos. Also, if you are in a group, youre probably better off ordering 2 of the smaller platters of pani puri instead of the larger size. They prefill the smaller platter of pani puri with the aloo, but they dont for the larger one. I also felt like there wasnt enough aloo for all of the pani puri, but there was a lot of pani.

I came to this place hell lot of time and like a-lot. Because of this reason I tried to book table for lager group and they said there will be 18% service fee extra on the top of bill. Moreover, then you don t need to give tip on it. Pretending like a favour. Food is good but, It doesn t make sense, it s everyone choice to give tip or no. First time i heard for large group we charge extra just for dinner.

Its a great experience dining in at Showshaa. One of my and my loved ones favourite places and we visit every week! Its a must try. Highly recommended from my side.

7 years I have lived in the area and visited Showshaa very often. But in the past year I stopped becaus ethe food quality and taste has radically declined. Today was the last day of my visit to this restaurant. The food appeared to taste from a ready miz packet. Even the tea with a $1 mixture mixed in hot water. For $40 for 1 dish and one roti the food was awful to taste. Please save your money and dont be fooled by the ambience! Go to a better Indian restaurant!
