Purchased 10 samosas today but found out its was not at all fresh, stale and smelly potatoes... Samosas must be a frozen ones, deep fried again and quite oily... Honestly didnt feel like eating them at all. And that too with a watery green chutney. Wont recommend Samosas from this place.

First time trying their food tonight and I was amazed. The goat curry was absolutely delicious, bursting with rich flavors and just the right amount of heat. Honestly, I didnt like their food at all. I ordered Amritsari kulcha and Masala tea. It wasnt enough and tasty. Tea was tastless. I can make better tea at home. I dont think they deserve even one star. Wont recommend to anyone.

One of the best place in Surrey if you want to try Indian food! We live close to Metro town but always order the food from this place. Food is always very fresh and tasty! Staff is very welcoming, humble and polite as well. I highly recommend this place.

Best chole bhature in whole surrey

Had a great experience here. Ordered butter chicken, palak paneer, and samosas. All we excellent. The owner is kind, friendly and engaging. Saw a lot of people coming in to order their burgers, so Ill try those the next time. Will be recommending this place to family and friends. The resto isnt really a sit down place, its very casual, more for takeout.

I recently had an experience at this restaurant where I ordered 2lbs of fish pakora over the phone. However, upon picking up the order and coming home, it was evident that the portion was far less than what I had ordered. I weighed it myself and found that it was just slightly over 1lb. When I returned to the store to address the issue, both the employees and the manager seemed to give evasive explanations, stating that they charge per order (9 pieces) rather than by the pound, which was not the case at any other restaurant Ive been to. This was a disappointing and misleading experience that left me unsatisfied.

Wow. I ve been going around Surrey and trying different chole bhature after I tried it a couple months ago and this has to be my favourite so far hands down. Everything tastes perfect and the price is just a bonus. You can t beat this all around. Great work to the restaurant and the cook. Will be back soon.

Made the drive in from Burnaby today for lunch. Definitely doesnt have curb appeal, but that didnt stop me. Unreal food. Chef takes absolute pride in his cooking. Not greasy like ur typical indian restaurants. Definitely will be back.

Tried Patty Kulcha and Taste was one of a kind. As always service was good and Beny Bhaji explained us how they make it in layers. Patty kulcha was served with pindi chana and chutney. Milk shake was also delicious .

It was great to be able to find this spot while traveling through Diwali days. Its mostly impossible to find a place with parking during Diwali days but this restaurant owner went above and beyond to accommodate our needs (takeout only during day before Diwali). Prices were reasonable and their Gurr biscuits are awesome.

Surrey Express is hands down one of the best Indian restaurants in town! Their patty kulcha is a flavor explosion in your mouth. The combination of the crispy patty fluffy kulcha bread is absolutely divine. The spices and seasonings they use are on point, giving each bite a burst of authentic Indian flavors. We were served with the freshly made jalebis while we were waiting for our as complimentary. The restaurant itself has a cozy and welcoming atmosphere, making it the perfect spot to enjoy a delicious meal with friends or family. Trust me, you wont be disappointed if you give Surrey Express a try!

Surrey Express is my most favorite go to place for authentic Indian food. I have tried their Paneer Parathas and they were delicious. Malai Kofta was simply delectable and had the right amount of spice and flavor. Plus their naans are super soft and tasty, also they serve generous portions of everything. In desserts I have tried gilab jamuns and rasmalai so far and both were too good ! Really glad to have came across this place, Chef Danny is very humble and customizes the dish after taking the specifications from the customer, amazing customer service and customer engagement. The manager Aman is also very nice to interact with. Will keep coming here.

I visited Surrey Express after watching their tiktok for Amritsari Kulche with pindi chane. I must say , by far it is d best ever I have tried in Surrey. I must tell the size of Amritsari naan was massive. I cant forget d taste even until now. The owners were so humble , they came to check on us couple of times . Best service. Its a must visit to this place. 5/5 for sure.

I found this place by mistake. But wow was it ever the best mistake of 2021. It s a 10 out of 10 for food and 10 out of 10 for polite staff that care and really make there food with love and care. Real attention to detail. They use tandoori pre marinated chicken in there butter chicken not just plain boiled lazy chicken. There butter Chicken is spicy and a little sweet unlike some of the hot tomato soup places i have tried. There pakora s are moist and fresh made to order unlike some place that taste like day olds that have been double fried and come out hard as a rock and cold. Their Chutneys are all made from scratch and very flavour packed unlike some places thst taste like they came in a bottle. There Nans are huge and not to heavy but very filling. Almost twice the size of some places. There food portions are huge for the price. 10 out of 10 for value. Now i know this sounds like a great review i went their twice before writing it and it was on point both times. And a month apart. I use to live in surrey. And had several places i would go to that were all 6-7 out of 10 for taste and that all i care about is taste really. Last year i moved to Whiterock and have tired 13 places here and south Surrey they have been hard 4 s in flavour. Some were very fancy and great staff and ambiance etc but that s no substitute for flavour. It s well worth the extra 10mins drive on top of the 15 i normally do to go to a Whiterock Indian cuisine. well worth the drive

This afternoon I decided to treat my staff to some samosa from this place. Some comments I received back was best samosa I have ever had I love how the pastry isn t thick and doughy usually chutney is overly sweet for me but this one is perfect I will definitely be ordering from here again

After seeing high reviews for this restaurant I decided to give it a shot, I placed a large order and was very excited to try the food. I ordered handi paneer, goat curry with different types of naan. The food is decent but not the best in Surrey But the staff tried overpricing me when I came to pick up, I called her out on it and the owner had to fix there mistake resulting in the food getting cold by the time I got home to enjoy!

They did not treat me like a tourist. They took the time to explain each dish and how I might enjoy it. I returned the courtesy by asking them to serve it the same way they might serve it to their own family. The result was spectacular. I had the Shahi Paneer and the Chaap Butter Masala. The food was aromatic and flavorful. They asked me to wait 20 minutes and it was worth it. This is my new favorite place in the neighborhood. I will be back.

I ate here based on the stellar Google reviews and they are NOT wrong! This was the best hakka noodles and veg manchurian I ve had in almost twenty years of it being two of my favourite dishes. The chef is super nice and came out to chat with me while I ate. He s classically trained but now that he s no longer required to cook gourmet food by the books prefers to focus on the street food dishes he loves best. I can t wait to work my way through the rest of the street food menu.

Literally the only one restaurant in Surrey which gives the authentic Indian taste. Also folks i met the owners of the restaurant they are very nice people. And they need people for working in kitchen anyone interested go there and apply. Also one last thing no match for their food in this era of competition. I wish them successful run in the coming years. Definitely recommended by me who love Indian street food and curries. Yumm!!
