I recently visited a newly opened restaurant next door. Since they were just starting out, they weren t equipped for children, including high chairs. With three kids, including a 1-year-old and a 3-year-old, a high chair was essential for us to enjoy a family dinner. I searched my car for a solution but couldn t find anything to help. As I passed by Seoul Grill House, I noticed they had high chairs visible from outside. I decided to ask one of their staff members if I could pay to borrow a high chair for use at the next-door restaurant. He kindly checked with his manager, and to my delight, they happily brought the chair over for us. I was beyond impressed with their incredible service and promised to come back next week. Thank you so much! I wouldn t have been able to eat properly while holding my 1-year-old without your kind help!

$39.99 per person before taxes and gratuities. Food is good but a little pricey considering they dont offer soft drinks except ice water for all you can eat. So around $90 for two person for dinner.

I was really looking forward to dining at this place, but unfortunately, the experience fell short in almost every aspect. To start, the food itself wasn t great bland and lacking the flavor you d expect from a Korean BBQ spot. The servers were barely around except to change the grill, and even that felt rushed. We had to clear our own plates, which I wouldn t mind if the service was otherwise good but it wasn t. Getting drinks felt like a scavenger hunt; we had to track down a server just to get refills. The atmosphere didn t help either. It was *cold* inside cold enough that we could see our breath, which made the entire experience uncomfortable. On top of that, despite plenty of open space, we were seated in a cramped corner. To add insult to injury, when the bill came, we weren t shown a receipt and discovered an automatic gratuity charge for a group of five. While I understand auto-gratuity for larger parties, this felt excessive given the lack of service we received. Overall, I wouldn t recommend this place unless major improvements are made. With so many other Korean BBQ options around, I d suggest dining elsewhere.

BLACKLISTED I have been to this restaurant 4 times, this was my last. Here are the reasons which should be enough for you to avoid also. 1. Zero service - we had to get up to ask for drinks, water, etc. we had to remove our dishes from our table because no one ever stopped by. They were not busy, and tended to other tables. We had to start our grill ourselves, it then got blasted by the server because it was too hot and didn t add water. Maybe if you stopped by the table? 2. Environment - it was dirty, grimy, and very cold. We could see our breath! If that is what the public areas are like imagine the kitchen. It needs a very good scrub down. I believe my parts is going to catch a cold as a result. 3. Auto Gratuity - there were 6 adults and 1 child. After nearly zero service they added and would not remove a 15% auto gratuity. Then, the person taking the payment basically tried to hide the bill so I couldn t see. $3.50 per can of pop also. Prices only posted on a sign at the door. Folks - this used to be a good place and we travelled from Metrotown to come here (despite several very good bbq places nearby). I know running a restaurant is tough, but the price is now the same as all other much better competitors. I suggest moving on until they clean up their act. For me, as a repeat customer I won t be back. So many better choices.

We visited this place for the first time at a Christmas party. The food was very diverse and I could have a special and enjoyable meal because I could gry meat myself. The servers were very nice and kind because they often changed the fire plate. I think we should think about this place for family gatherings.

Its convenient because its set up at a table so you can eat grilled meat yourself at a good price, and theres a variety of different foods.

Food is not worth $39.99, mandatory tip of 18% on 12 people is excessive. No discount for senior, only for kids but not that too far from adult price. Not coming back, first and last! Parking: Parking is in front of the restaurant but a bit challenging.

Very good meat

This place is humongous. Im impressed with the price we paid and the amount of food we got in their tummy. The meat was marinated very well. The appetizers and staples were good I really enjoyed it. Does have a shaved ice machine but theres not much milk in there. Toppings were limited... just jellies (the bubble tea kind) and red bean paste with cereals. I was hoping for pearls and logans...mini tapiocas..condensed milk but nope none of that. Ill stick to the meat and hot food. Yummy. Soup was very very salty. Heads up. Ill still go again if Im in the area. I love buffets! Staff was attentive and such a big place with little staffs on the floor. For your reference...We were there about 8pm.

I love the various options this place provides and of course the fact that it is ayce. I do think the quality isnt the best compared to other bbq places but for the price, variety and quantity it is not bad.

the korean lady was so mad bc i gave her a .60 in tip. i was just trying to even out the grand total thru my card. and i was planning to give her $20 tip in cash for a $65 bill. lol if people like her in that store are gonna be straight up mad bc someone gave them a little to no tip, then im never going back here. not to mention, customers arent obligated to give tips, it is their courtesy and it varies per culture. i work on a fast food chain too and koreans do NOT give tips, but did i complain and got mad at those customers? absolutely no. practice and train your employees to be of great service at food counter if youre gonna place them there.

Self service and all the food was cold or been sitting for a while. Even after it was replaced it was still Luke warm... ended up being like $90 for two of us for all you can eat bbq and just didnt feel worth it after. The one main good thing was the chicken wings.

One of the better AYCE Korean BBQ in the lower mainland. The price is reasonable and the selection is really good. The mix of hot and cold foods, and the selection of meat is ways good. Great location for an event or occasion.

I visited this restaurant because I wanted to eat a meat buffet. But the side dishes were tastier than the meat. What if the side dishes were tastier than the main dish? I liked the pumpkin soup the best. The pork belly had a strong porky smell, so it wasnt that great. I dont think its a place where two people would pay around $90 to go.

First time here. Nice clean hygenic ambiance and bathroom. Good buffet. Lots of variety of Food and was good and yummy its worth the pay. Appreciate it. Keep it up. Everything is close by and walking distance. Activities are drive away too. We felt safe too. thanks

Reasonable quality and price for all you can eat. Limited types of meat, no calbi, which is a Korean BBQ staple. Great variety of food but taste was okay . Disappointed that the shaved ice machine is closed during lunchtime.

Been here a couple times now, BBQ is good, some of the items in the buffet were not hot, but overall was good (i just put them on the bbq to warm up). Love the endless bbq meats. Will be back again. Only thing that would be nice to have is salt and pepper at the table.

The food is decent. Theres a lot of cooked food available at the buffet. I especially liked their japchae. For the grilling part, there were marinaded beef, pork, and chicken to get from the buffet and you would take it to your table to grill. Ive been to other places where seafood was available to grill as well but not here. For me, I cannot help but see how dirty the place was. (1) The hood above the grill had visible grease. When was the last time it was cleaned? I couldnt help but imagine little bit of old grease dripping onto my food in the middle of the table. (2) At one point, I needed to close the blinds that was next to my table. The blinds were sticky with grease and dust. It is quite unsanitary for a restaurant, IMHO.

I was sad that shaved ice wasnt available for lunch. Parking: The parking lot is small, but it was okay when there were no people. Kid-friendliness: This is a place where children are allowed.

We drove for three and a half hours to come and arrive at 8:30 pm ( the google map said close at 10) , they said they were last call and kick us out. Disappointed.

The only thing I want to complain about is price transparency. It shows by the entrance door that dinner buffet weekend price for 1 person is CDN $36.99, so 2 people should be CDN $73.98 + tax, right? Wrong, they added an additional CDN $38.99 for dinner and weekend fee. So total for 2 people approximately CDN $125 with tax. No where on the sign shows they would add additional $30. Other than that food was good and fresh. Good place to bring friends and family. Ample parking space.

While traveling from the U.S. to Canada, I ate it for dinner without much expectations, and the quality of the pork ribs and pork neck was better than that of most other meat restaurants in Northern California. The server was friendly, and although there wasnt much variety of meat, the side dishes were clean and the price was cheap ($69 including 2 bottles of soju), so I ate a lot. Return visit 10000%

It s $26.99pp on Thursday lunch. The beef is tasteless and dumplings is dry and chicken wing had a thick batter and not hot. This place used to be good and good value for the price. No wonder the whole place was empty. Would never go back. My 3 stars rating consider generous

Went on a Saturday night buffet with a big family and grilled the marinated meats and it definetely satisfied our cravings! Definetely get some of the bbq sauce as a dipping sauce thats on the condiments section will def go back coz i forgot to get some more rice LOL Kid-friendliness: We had 2 kids, 2 toddlers and a baby with us and it was okay.

Great service, and you have your own grill, but the food was abysmal. There were no sauces for the meat, the meat was completely flavourless, and all the ready-made meatballs and sausages were so dry, it was like chalk. The kimchi was completely bland, basically just cabbage. I would appreciate the food if it was a 15 dollar all you can eat, but 2 all you can eats and a glass of soju + tip was around 130 cad, for quite possibly the worst Korean food I ve ever had.

First time going here today. Overdid it a little bit, but it was freaking fantastic. It will be a much better experience the second time now that I know what Im doing They have both a buffet of pre cooked food and some that you can cook yourself.

Expected an 18% tip even though we served and cooked everything ourselves. Also had to request more water and a grill change ourselves every time, even though we were only one of two tables in the entire restaurant. Waitress barely checked up on us. After selecting no tip, lady (Im assuming manager) at the front rolled her eyes and slammed down my change on the counter. Very professional... Limited variety of meats with no actual marinate and shaved ice station had no condensed milk? Place was nice though and a select few of the pre-cooked foods were good.

Came in with my daughter on a busy Sunday (May long weekend). Service was amazing. Greeted and seated us right away. Didnt have to ask to change the bbq grill plate once as our server changed it without even having to ask multiple times. Food was good (pork belly was a bit tough) and decent selection. Didnt even have to ask for the bill they already kind of knew and came with it. Came to clean our plates almost instantly on a busy night. Our original main server really was amazing and really helped that she was super pretty. Would come back absolutely.

Overall, I was quite satisfied with my experience at this restaurant. The meats were notably fresh, and the cold salads were equally delightful. While the prepped buffet foods were generally good, it was evident that some had been sitting out for a while. Nonetheless, I plan to return with friends in the future.

They had tried hurrying us out of the restaurant and even expected tip saying 18% or 25% and watched closely as we put in our tip, which is funny because we got our own food and had to cook it ourselves. Food was pretty good. Decent cuts of meat for the in table bbq and the cooked food is also good. Price was $40/each which seems very fair. I have had better but only in vancouver or Richmond. Living in langley this is a great option. Server was really nice. We will absolutely be back!

Their price has gone up but still worth it. We went there at opening time for dinner (5pm). The restaurant was full by 5:30pm. Service was great. Food was fresh. They even have bingsoo (shaved ice) for dessert! (But small selection for topping) Highly recommend!

For a $40 all you can eat the selection of meats were limited and the quality of them were unimpressive. Good cost conscious lunch AYCE with KBBQ options. Nothing too crazy but good standard fare. I enjoyed the BBQ beef, the kimchi and the meatballs. Interesting decor. Would consider a repeat if in the area.

Since it was Parents Day, I went to lunch with my parents. Food prices have risen, there are not many customers even though it is lunch time, and the food quality has worsened. Its a meat buffet, but theres beef for bulgogi without seasoning, no pork belly, thinly sliced pork neck, and chicken thigh meat without seasoning. Thats all. Its a meat buffet, but theres no lettuce or green onion slices, and the sweet and sour pork is so tasteless that I dont think its worth paying for. The chicken wings were slightly overcooked and the taste and quality of the side dishes were worse than before. It would be better to use this money to buy decent food at a nearby restaurant. I dont know what to do and I dont think Ill ever go there again. If I had done business like this in Korea, it would have gone bankrupt a long time ago. Absolutely not recommended I went there for a group dinner in the new year of 2024. However, they ran out of bulgogi, but they did not refill it, and it took about an hour for them to refill it. I complained, but everyone who went with me was so angry that they only filled it with chicken and pork and the salesmanship was so shallow that they returned after finishing their meal. The food wasnt all served on time and the taste and service were the worst. I went there because there was no restaurant nearby that I could go to as a group, but it was the worst. I think it would be better not to go if there is a meal or group dinner. Im so angry

It was my first visit and I think it is enough to visit. Foods were okay quality, service was good. What I most hated was the cleanliness. Dishes were sticky in and out, I went to wash my hands every time after pick up the foods. It was disappointed there was no dessert except old apples in lunch time as a buffet.

Be aware that their PRICE has gone up! (Feb 11th, 2024, Saturday) The price of weekend dinner has been raised from $36.99 to $39.99! Regrettably, the quality of the food remains unchanged. Haha. Its very unfortunate. The service has remained unchanged and is not pleasant, lacking in quality. Dear Owner, please keep in mind that this is a BUFFET restaurant. In comparison to the other non-buffet restaurant, we the customers are required to do additional work. Prior to suggesting and requesting a 10%, 15%, or 20% tip. It would be appreciated if you could improve your quality. And lastly!!!!!!!!! Please!! It would be great if you could fix the MAIN door of the mens washroom.

Very good food and service not bad. The food rotation is good. They constantly watch their food trays and refill them frequently. Their price is around 40 dollars per adult. Our son who is 3 years old was free. The 6 of us adults together with 5 cokes costed $300+ altogether for a dinner on a Saturday. Kid-friendliness: Bring your own plates and cutleries for toddlers. They do not have separate ones for the kids.

Always the go to for Buffet for Korean food. They have gotten better with the service and most of all more food variety. Highly recommended!!!!!

The food was good we had a party of 9 so automatically got charged an 18% tip for terrible service. Not once were dishes picked up from our table, we had them collecting at the end of the table, had to go get our own water and waitress came by and shut off our grill at one of the tables. Guess that meant we were done....

Friendly vibes, no too smokey like other Korean BBQ places. The Meat selection is on the lean side and also ot heavily marinated for people that prefer food choices. Being a Korean BBQ plays we were pleasantly surprised by the options of a hot food on the buffet table Very happy we will be visiting again when we travel to Surrey. Vegetarian options: There is quite a bit of vegetarian. Oranges, apple slices, and white and brown. They also serve fried rice which I dont think theres any meat in it. And of course love the Korean side dishes are vegetarian friendly Parking: No trouble finding parking Kid-friendliness: When I was a kid I loved the pick and choose at the buffet I can choose all my favorite food less vegetables but theres actually a lot of the good veggie options on the buffet

There are many people in the restaurant and it is very lively. The grills for the barbecue are changed in a timely manner. There is plenty of meat, you can eat whatever you want.

Love the AYCE korean bbq here and we re always going here when we crave for korean food! Lot s of menu to choose from and food are tasty. It could be 5 stars review but the server was a bit rude to me. I asked for a jar of water twice nicely, probably waited for 20-30mins after I asked again then she said you have to wait !

Came here about a month ago. Food was pretty good and service was quite friendly and attentive. They made sure our grill was constantly changed and water refilled. It is a buffet, so everything is self serve. There was a decent selection of cold and hot items including typical kbbq meats. Although of course, nothing will be on the premium side like a regular kbbq joint. Definitely a good place to go to hang out, have some drinks and BBQ to your hearts content with family and friends. My only caveat is some of the hot items could be much better. The price was close to 40 per person. And no sliced garlic for kbbq, why??? Will be back again sometime for sure. Vegetarian options: Salad bar and veggies items hot and cold.

Ive never been to an all you can eat Korean BBQ and Ive got to say, its amazing. They give you 90 minutes to eat anything and everything. More than enough time to stuff your face. Amazing meat! Fresh, marinated, thinly sliced for faster cooking and delicious! They have a buffet of all assortments of food. Highly recommend this place, especially if its your first time.

I put it in a bowl to eat the soup, but it was very toxic. I couldnt eat it at all because the towel smelled like it wasnt washed properly. I asked the employee what the smell was, and he just answered my question and didnt come. Since it was a buffet, I didnt expect friendly service, but it was a bit below expectations. I think the biggest smell is from the dishes. Some of them had not been washed at all, and the ones that looked clean were scratchy as if something had been on them and the smell was very unpleasant. I couldnt eat any kind of soup at all.

This place CLOSES AT 8 not 10. If youre not in there by 8pm, you dont get seated. They need to update their hours they say open to 10, that is not true. Update your hours we drove hella far to come here and showed up before 9pm and we were turned away.

I recently dined at a Korean BBQ restaurant and wanted to share my experience. The food was delicious, but I was hoping for more options in the BBQ section. While they had pork, beef, and chicken, there was no seafood like shrimp, prawns, squid, or octopus. Additionally, there were only four kinds of ice cream for dessert, and I was hoping to try some Korean desserts like Sweet Red Bean Porridge, Hwangnam-ppang, or Tteok. On a positive note, there were many Korean delicacies available, including salads, fish cake, fried chicken, and fish. However, I was disappointed with the utensils provided as they were worn out and not very clean. The ambiance of the restaurant was pleasant, and there was ample parking available. Our group of eight visited on a Saturday night and a gratuity of 15% added to the bill. Despite some areas for improvement, the restaurant still provided a decent dining experience with good food and ambiance.

Visited this place pre-pandemic, was very glad to have revisited. Seems to have completely changed, much better variety and selection than before, got curious when we saw a lot of patrons, was supposed to go to an all you can eat beside it but diverted at the last minute, and so glad we did. A must try when in the area. Make a mental note, no leftovers permitted on the grilled meats to avoid waste. Its the best in the area.

I am a person who likes this place. I went there a week ago with high expectations..... The smell of pork ribs was so bad that I couldnt eat it... the seasoning was so weak that it was bloody... The bulgogi is soaked in blood... Still, I ate a few servings... but my companion and I had diarrhea for several days. And Korean female employees are always the same...;;; The food used to be good, but its disappointing.

One of the best korean samgyupsal I must say. Great food selection with buffet. Also, meat was seasoned perfectly. Choose Pork, beef, and chicken. LEGIT ! Eat all you can!!! Friendly and very accommodating staff. Affordable, great place. Good for family and friends.

Well it was an interesting experience for sure. I found that a lot of the quality of the meats or not as great as I would have liked them to be. However when you eat all you can eat, for that price, they cant afford for it to be. The service was pretty good, they were always checking on us, changing our cooking apparatuses from smoking, bringing napkins, answering our questions etc. I found a lot of the meat dishes on the buffet to be quite good actually. Skip the fries, theyre not very good and they fill you up a lot. Being sprout salad wasnt as good as usual. Make sure to get there early, so the buffet isnt old and on replenished. When youre all done, make sure to have the mango ice cream its the best.

Went for mothers day and we had a blast! They changed the grill plate 5 times in the hour we were there and there was a healthy supply of items coming out for the buffet from the kitchen. Absolutely delicious.

I can tasted the chemical smell for the fried fish but rest was okay. No big surprised for me while me and my coworker having a dinner during the hot weather. Not busy and change the hot plate often. Down side, did not turn on AC so customer sweating while having their meal. For meat lover, it s great but would totally recommend to have more veggies. (Kimchi was not ready, all I can taste was fresh leafs)

Everytime we eat here the staff members are always throwing a tantrum, aggressive with their plate handling and grill replacing. I dont know whats wrong if their tired, fed up or just like this but it really puts you off from eating. Ditch this place and go to Boom Beer right next door its much better. I dont think they like customers.

Drove out from Vancouver to try this place. If my Korean parents, aunts and uncles liked this place you know it s good lol. Having the all you can eat meat to grill was amazing. The pork was the best!!! Nice fatty pieces and the marinade was awesome! I only wish they had provided bigger pieces of lettuce so we could make samm (lettuce wraps) with the meat!! The service was also awesome. Very friendly and accommodated us as best they could with what our group needed. Highly recommend this place!

That restaurant is really rip off and at the website has many different menus price and put%15 gratuity but the changes%18 on tape of the bill without any service .I never back to there.

Came for water melon, did not disappoint.

Pretty overated place. Since its an all you can eat buffet, it definitely feels like the quality was skimped out on. I also have a feeling that they dont really follow the best safety practices as there are containers of raw meat right beside cooked food. You are also made to cook your own food, which doesnt really help with food safety as some people dont always cook their food thoroughly. The cooked food was... not good. Most of it was cold as it had been sitting there for a while, and textures and flavor left much to be desired. The way they cut their onions was also too thick for the grill to properly cook. It just feels like not much effort/care was put into the food in general. Service was... Ok, not much interaction between the staff and my table. Wasnt great, but wasnt blatantly bad either. IMO its better to go to korean restaurants with set prices for the food.

Aside from the low price, there are no advantages to anything, including cleanliness, service, taste, and freshness.

Everything was great, and it needs a different smoke exhaust.

Food tastes grate good and not expensive at all for all you can eat Korean BBQ. 10/10 Would come again

Good selection of raw marinated meats to cook and other buffet items are good as well. Lots to choose from and the ice cream is good too!

Very hard to communicate with

Stumbled across this great place at lunch time and Ill be back! The meat (particularly beef) was tasty and there were many good dishes. Good for people who like a lot of protein, or anyone who likes a good variety of interesting dishes. As you can expect, a few of the buffet items were cold-ish at times, for example, the spring rolls; but by the time I was back for my third plate, fresh ones had been replenished! The meat was also constantly being replenished. My partner has a sensitive stomach and he did not get a stomach ache like he usually does from all-you-can-eat places. Bathroom is not that clean but not the worst. Everything in the buffet/food areas seemed to be kept clean which is especially important when dealing with raw meat.

What a feast this place is! Lots of varieties of cooked dishes. BBQ meat are endless. End with ice cream will guarantee everyone is FULL!

Entered the restaurant at 8:51pm and told they are CLOSED. Please do not advertise your restaurant as open until 10pm when you are declining customers when it s not even 9pm!!!! Ridiculous.

Worst BBQ ever had

We went there as a group from work, had a very bad experience.

Lovely place. It would be nice if the meats were a bit longer marinated but still a very good experience. The service was excellent!

AYCE Korean buffet. Not busy for Thursday lunch, but several groups steadily step in. Quite a variety of food, although not a fan of their fried items. Grill your own pork/beef/chicken/ hotdog; not much choices on lunch menu. Server very attentive, changing the grilling plate every so often. A little on the pricey side, but worth the trip for an occasional treat.

I m dissatisfied with this restaurant experience. We were a party of six for a weekend dinner, and I found that an 18% tip was automatically included in the bill. I believe tips should reflect gratitude for service, and in this case, it s a buffet where we serve ourselves. While I appreciate the efforts of the staff who changed the BBQ plates, I d prefer to tip them directly. I understand the customary 18% for a group of six, but I d rather not feel obligated. As for the food, the standout items were the ice cream and fresh green salad. The soup was tasty, but the beef short rib from the BBQ wasn t as tender as expected; it was challenging to chew.

Great selection of food. First time attending a Korean BBQ buffet. A lot of selection of different vegetables and meat. Big restaurant and the service is really good for changing grill plates.

The price is above average Recommended dishes 1. There is a very large seasoned steak on the right side of the chest freezer where you take out the meat. If it is not bone-in, just eat it and don t try anything else. Roast until medium done, then cut and roast, the texture and taste are all medium-to-high. 2. The fried noodles are surprisingly delicious, highly recommended if you don t mind eating staple food 3. The ice cream tastes good, but the water in the spoon is unappetizing and needs to be improved. 4. Women can try polenta Anything else is optional, the main thing is meat. Parking: Its a small business district with not many parking spaces, but they were all available several times I went there.
