We visited this place for the first time. The ambience was great and the service was Awesome ! The food was delicious and beyond words.. felt like we had an authentic Mexican food after a long time. Will definitely visit this place again

as authentic as it gets. definitely a joint to when craving for some mexican food. why go to corporate mexican food restaurants if you can get it from authentic one for the same price. anything biria is a must!

This place was dead empty when i arrived and the waiter asked for my drink and never brought it, she ended up bringing my meal first and said she ll get my water now, upon waiting looks like she forgot twice? I asked for a water at the register and chugged it down while paying for my food. Service was nonexistent and food was mid with a weird aftertaste, I m assuming the Vancouver location is much better though.

Service was slow, and the food was awful. I will never go back there to waste my money and time again.

I tried to come here with my partner this evening. We stood in the entrance waiting to be acknowledged. Despite there even being a free table that just needed to be wiped down, we waited so long for someone to even acknowledge us that we ended up just leaving. Unbelievably poor service.

Fer is a wonderful server! She is caring and attentive, making my first dine in experience a memorable one. Enchiladas are deliciously cheesy and the rice on the side has a rich savory tangy flavor. Im coming back here

The first time I came to this place we did not have a good experience. A year later, today, we wanted to return to try other dishes and it was very nice to find Menudo with a good flavor and generous portion of meat. We are glad that the business continues to grow and they have renovated their facilities. We wish you much success and we are here to support you.

Went here based on the good reviews but honestly was disappointing. The horchata tasted nothing like a horchata, seems to be powdered. The birria was terrible, the consommé was bland AF. We got charged $2 for extra lime which was 4 slices of lime.. at least tell ppl before if you will charge for extra lime. Overall food was not pleasant but the service was good that s why I gave 2 stars. But id rather have good food over nice servers lol. Spent $50 for two ppl and regretted it.

Came in for dinner for 2. Ordered our drinks and mains with my date ordering a hot chocolate and a jarrito for myself. We waited for 30 minutes before asking a server if our drinks were on their way with my guess that they forgot to put the order in. The restaurant wasnt busy but they were setting tables up for a big group dinner that looks to have got priority evern though no one arrived yet. Our food and drinks came out within 5 minutes of one another and the hot chocolate went to waste. The food was not worth the wait. My burrito was underwhelming, the chicken was dry, refried beans were overcooked and the sauces in squeeze bottles a bit bland for my liking. Service was atrocious. Salsa and Guacamole in Newton is much better than this establishment.

To say it simply, dining at Taqueria Jalisco was an amazing experience from beginning to end. Menu has great variety. The food is absolutely delicious. The drinks were cold. And, the service was so warm and friendly. My boyfriend and I needed something warm, flavourful, and comforting and this place absolutely hit the spot. It was our first time here but not our last. We ordered the monster burrito, pozole soup, and birria tacos. We are stuffed to the brim with authentic Mexican foods with plenty to take home. 10/10, come and eat here.

I went inside to do a take out order before the rush came and ordered a simple carne asada. They said 20 mins which was fine but as soon other guests (after me) were getting their take out orders before me, you know something is up. Asked one of the servers to check on my order and you can tell somebody forgot to punch it in or it was missed, somehow. Yeah, that happens sometimes but don t tell me it ll take 5 more mins to prepare my order when I sat there for another 20 mins, with a BF baby at home. Don t assume your customers have 20 more mins to wait. Just offer me the $22.05 refund and I ll order a bun bo hue next door. Think they need a better system to handle the volume of orders/people.

Extremely disappointing experience. The meat was dry, tasteless, and didn t seem fresh. They were very stingy with the toppings only gave us a quarter of a lime for four tacos, and it wasn t even fresh. To top it off, the server messed up our order and tried to claim pork was beef. No apology was offered, and we were rushed to take our food to go because they were closing soon. I m surprised by the positive reviews given the poor quality and service.

The person at the counter seemed indifferent and unprofessional, almost as if they were under the influence. It felt like he didn t care about the business at all. The free chips didn t seem fresh or appealing. Also, I didn t notice any options for vegetarians, which was disappointing.

We had a birthday dinner here for my mom tonight and was not disappointed. We just got back from a trip to Mexico, and the food here took me back! Very authentic, and tasty. Not everyone will love the true authenticity, because theyre so used to eating americanized spanish food. Service and staff were amazing! So welcoming, friendly and attentive. Atmosphere was laid back. Overall, loved it and will be back! My mom had a wonderful birthday. Thank you guys! Kid-friendliness: Small place, but got space for the kids.
