Loud Music, slow service, food was okay and the gift cards that they sold are not valid anymore cuz of the new management. They want you to drive 50-100km to be able to redeem them when they themselves sold them with their name and address. Not a good customer service.

I ordered malai chaap, and it was absolutely disgusting. It had something in it (may be dust particles) that would come under my teeth on every bite. Total waste of money. The chaap they are using is bad quality. Not expected for a restaurant with 4.8 rating on google.

Worst food ever tried in my life. I am a regular customer here from last 2 years but never get this type of service. They don t know how to handle customer before this they never charged for any extra item. Their momos are frozen , I got sick after eating that. Service is also very slow. No smile nothing.

Got takeout from here on a Friday afternoon - not busy. However, the chai was below standard. It wasn t rich in flavour. Goat biriyani was good however more pricey than the restaurant with a similar name on Scott Rd. Chai much much much better over there.

Ok here goes. A very well liked place and we were looking forward to joining the 5 star club ... AMBENCE: The place has a nice contemporary feel, clean and thats where it stops ... We were sat at the booth beside the main door and since it was cold, we moved to a corner booth.. well, there is a speaker right above thos booth and the music was too loud. Think im being cranky? lol Well, two other parties came and moved form that table as well due to loud music. SERVICE: The server who was taking care of our table, was probably new because I asked a simple question about the masala soda and she could not answer what soda is used. Here is a thought.. go ask someone .. NOPE, she didnt care to do so, so I didnt order it. Lastly, she never came by even once to ask how the food is. I guess when you have 5 stars in google reviews, who cares... FOOD: Exccellent quality meat and amazing kulcha however it was ALL spiled for me. As with MANY desi restaurants, they love sodium, so all i could taste is an overwhelming amount of salt. I get it, as a desi myself, Indian people love salt.. also diabetes but here is a thought, use minimal salt and those who like tons of it, can add it later. Overall, this could easily be a 5 star place but not for me and I know I am being harsh, but its just an honest review.

Just left the Surrey Centre location. First time there. The staff....all of them....were friendly and very inviting. Our server was amazing and took time to explain some options and answer all our questions. Then the food came. It was fantastic. Overall a great experience and the price was very reasonable. We will be back here for sure. Update - have been back a few times... went for lunch two days ago. Mixed kulcha was better than ever. Service was still amazing!

This place has fallen off. Visited in March and has this place 5 stars and then visited again in November and this place was not the same. It was almost empty, food had really less quantity for the price, and just disappointed. Old review from March 2024 Insane food, best I ve ever had. We ordered the Amritsari Mix Kulcha, Chole Bhature, Chicken Malai Tikka, Sweet Lassi, and Masala Soda. Every dish was amazing + loved the service. Would love to come here again and again. Amritsari Panner kulcha was amazing. It comes with Choley and chutney. Vegetarian thali has amazing shaahi panner. Gulab Jamun was average.

I went there for dinner with my friend visiting from Hong Kong. Decided to take her out for some authentic Indian food and the reviews are right. It s the most amazing and best Indian food we ve ever had. The server was great too and came over to checkin with us a few times. We will come back for sure

I want to share my recent experience at ustaad g surrey central. The customer service provided by Gurman and simmi was excellent. The ambiance and quality of food is amazing. Staff is very friendly and doesn t mind explaining the menu. I took a lot of their time but they were quite patient throughout the order.
