Seafood, steaks & other food inspired by the Pacific Northwest, plus a full bar with craft brews.
We recently visited this restaurant and had an amazing experience, thanks to our incredible server! I’ve never met anyone who seemed to have their heart so fully in their job. Her warmth and attentiveness truly made our visit special, and I would return for her service alone! The chairs were super uncomfortable, and the food was basic, but the location and parking were perfect and easy. It’s a nice place to take a walk after your burger and chips. I also loved the kitsch decor, which added a fun touch to the ambiance.
I waited about 30 to 40 min for a steak and prawns.... Definitely worth the wait even tho I'm impatient. The food was delicious I devoured it in 20 min or less. Got the 8 ounce steak and added prawns, tea, and the strawberry crumble. Pleasant day.
The food is a solid 3/5. I was hoping to like the fish tacos but they lacked flavour and the fish wasn’t the best I’ve had tbh. Chowder was good and the yam fries were as well. Salad was okay. Very dark moody lights, good for dinner but not the best ambiance for lunch (esp when it’s so bright outside). Staff were lovely and it’s close to the beach so that’s quite nice.
Was celebrating my Birthday. Food was beautifully presented, excellent service. Atmosphere was exceptional. Any requests were fulfilled without hesitations. Our sever deserves a big thank you.
The Cabin Restaurant in Surrey, BC, is a delightful Pacific Northwest restaurant that has earned a 4.4-star rating. It's known for its seafood, steaks, and other dishes inspired by the region, along with a full bar that includes craft brews. Patrons of The Cabin Restaurant have praised its menu, particularly highlighting the calamari and ribs as some of the best they've ever had. The peanut butter pie also comes highly recommended, described as "to die for." The restaurant's unique offerings like cauliflower wings have been a pleasant surprise for many, with the combination of maple syrup and crispy cauliflower receiving special mention. The atmosphere of The Cabin is described as intimate and not overly fancy, providing a cozy and comfortable setting that's perfect for a casual dining experience. The decor and overall ambiance of the restaurant have been commended for being tasteful and contributing to the enjoyable experience.
I visited on a Monday and was told there's buy one get one free appetizers, so I ordered the ribs & calamari. Best calamari I've ever had! & the ribs were delicious, too. Also had the peanut butter pie, which was to die for. To top it all off, this place had the coziest environment & wonderful service. I walked to the beach after and had a nice sunset paddle—it was the perfect evening on an otherwise stressful day!
We enjoyed a delightful dinner at the cabin, and tried the daily special, which was a halibut and prawn over saffron, coconut rice and vegetables. The other dish was a pasta Alfredo with prawn. Quaint ambiance and lots of happy customers. Definitely try out the dessert cake with chocolate and peanut butter!!
This place was really good!!!!! The atmosphere is very relaxed and welcoming, in a rustic way. The staff is amazing, Keith was our waiter, they go above and beyond to help you. A member of our table wasn't feeling well, Keith offered a concoction of a drink to help ease their stomach and it worked like a charm. The food was amazing, we all agreed it was a little on the salty side, but still very enjoyable. This restaurant is located close to the beach, but not too close, parking can get pretty limited so try to show up earlier as parking can be sparse at times, this is a beach location after all. Again the staff here were amazing, great experience, great food and great atmosphere. I would highly recommend this restaurant!!!
So sad to not give a 5 star rating but serving frozen vegetables with an amazing steelhead trout and The Cabins amazing rice, was a real let down. We ve been to this spot so many times and always been served fresh seasonal veggies but bland frozen corn, peas and beans just doesn t cut it for the price. Oh well maybe next time :(
Definitely worth a visit and although summer near the beach is always preferable, anytime is a good time at the Cabin.
Cabin Lager is highly recommended Tried the Halibut. Was tasty. Food
Great place to eat and relax, food is perfect and delicious, staff are awesome. Thank you for a great night. Look forward to next visit.
Outstanding. Great food and service.
The chowder and fish and chips were fantastic! Perfect for a rainy day. Bathroom lighting may have been a bit too dim for me.
My girlfriend and I recently visted for lunch, we both quite enjoyed the food. I ordered the burger and she ordered the spicy chicken sandwich, both were well cooked and delicious!
Always excellent, The Cabin Restaurant is one of the very best restaurants in White Rock. The spareribs are a particular favourite of mine and their martinis are a tribute to Mr. Bond. I can highly recommend The Cabin for an excellent dining experience.
Great grilled chicken sandwich!
Great place, cozy, friendly staff and delicious food.
Really great food, got the fish and chips. Best around.
30 min wait for a burnt burger.
Marvelous!
Late lunch with a friend, delicious chowder and caesar salad, will definitely return. Lost one star because portions are small for the price. Wish the chowder came in a large bowl because it was really good. Atmosphere was great and staff enthusiastic.
Was hoping for sone specials for gappy and tgd first waiter said just 25% off tge martinus only. Then later found out its 2 fir 1 appis 3:00-5:00. You would think the staff mught know ? Not impressed! Not going back!
Amazing every time
A gorgeous little restaurant in Crescent Beach. Its our go-to spot for a delicious meal, the halibut is one of our favourite dishes!
The food is always good. Our server was very knowledgeable about the restraunts food and beverages. And we like the atmosphere even tough it is not fancy.
We dont often spend like this but sometimes In life you do get what you pay for. It was fantastic; Chorizo sausage and Shrimp Penne with Okanagan Vineyards Cabernet Merlot for me. The far right window table is cinematic.
Service has always been great and the food has always been good.
Loved our waiter Scott! Excellent service and delicious food.
We enjoyed the walnut encrusted steelhead, cioppino hot pot, and the fillet ALL incredible! Service was great and with 4 kids that is helpful. Fabulous experience!
Booked a last minute reservation on the long weekend. Food was really tasty again. Try the Halibut, always a good choice here.
Fantastic. Great service and matching food. We will definitely return
Such a great place and beautiful spot. Food was delicious and creative. If you are on your way to Vanderhoof or PG well worth the stop.
Some food was a hit, some was a miss. But overall good spot with a great staff.
We had lunch with our grandkids. I asked if they have a kids menu, they said - yes and verbally listed a few things. We picked two orders of pasta. I was surprised to see they charged us $15 each! for a small kids bowl of pasta! I think it was a rip off. I know it is my fault, should have asked for prices before ordering. For ourselves we ordered one piece of fish and chips. I have never seen such a small piece of fish before! it was not bad but we will never come back here. Kid-friendliness: as I said the kids pasta dish was too expensive
VERY VERY DISAPPOINTING!!!! Dont order drinks here!!! We ordered 5 drinks in total, 1 being a double and each person at our table tasted the double mojito there was NO ALCOHOL! Politely asked for a Sangria instead, again, was so weak and disappointing to all of us. Dinner was ok. Had a Ceasar to start which was not any better than a bagged salad and stale tiny croutons with no dressing. Halibut was good. Will not dine again or tell any friends about this establishment..
Customer service was excellent, extra friendly waiters very patient and polite, food was good too except for salad( i got a rotten cherry tomato in mine.. n the greens could be a bit less wilted.. im vegetarian and paying those prices for a small plate of wilted veggies is disappointing.. Vegetarian options: Wilted salad with half rotten cherry tomatoes..
Absolute gem in Crescent Beach. Incredible fish and chips. Cauliflower wings taste like heaven. Food is delicious, service is impeccable, and the ambiance is great. Highly recommended!!!
Nice Vegetarian options: Wonderful Food : 5/5 |
Good food but a bit spicy. Parking: Good food great place Food : 4/5 |
Very good cuisine, the jus for the dishes (rack of lamb, scallops & scallops and steak) was excellent, the mashed potatoes were creamy and well seasoned with nutmeg, the vegetables were crunchy & glazed - simply fantastic!. The ambience is rustic-shabby-chic and the service is friendly, accommodating and not intrusive! The water served freely was filtered and without chlorine! The price-performance ratio was top of everything! The Cabin is highly recommended!!! Parking: 15-20 in the immediate vicinity
Met with a group of friends on a weekday afternoon for lunch. No complaints about anything. It wasnt busy when we were there which was great, because we were a noisy group. Our server was very pleasant and I think we may have entertained him somewhat. The food, nothing to Rave about, was decent and prices reasonable. Atmosphere was good, location was good. I would definitely recommend this place, if youre looking for somewhere easy to find, near the beach, relatively easy parking, and a great meeting point. Dietary restrictions: They were very conscientious about food allergies Parking: Parking right out front of the restaurant. Easy to get, but on a busy day I imagine youd have more trouble finding somewhere to park
Extremely disappointed. Only 2nd time Ive been here, previous time, was years ago, because Old Surrey Inn was booked. Appetizer Calamari, most was mostly tentacles and overwhelmingly salty. Tzaziki was yellow, Im guessing they added lemon to it, which I didnt care for. My Meal was Mussels in White Wine sauce, which Im used to a creamy white wine sauce, this was like sea water, lots of garlic, raw white onions, Spices and Mussels, with some kind of flatbread with garlic butter. Mussels were good, sauce was a fail. I wont be returning to this restaurant again. When I pay over $100, I expect quality! I can cook better than this any day of the week. I expect quality food when an appetizer is $27. PS I was also cold, sitting inside, the entire time, as doors were open.
The portions were small but the quality was excellent
Good food and atmosphere. I would like to try more on their menu.
Always a great place for an amazing meal with good atmosphere
We will be back very retro we loved everything about it.
Had the cioppini hot pot. Shrimp were overcooked rubber. Broth was on the weak side. Others at the table had an enjoyable meal.
Went for dinner with family. The server was kind but the disappointment came as they seemed to be out of many items we ordered. There were only 9 chicken wings in the order. Most restaurants serve 12. They don t serve any handhelds at dinner. The fries were dry and overdone. The chicken in the Linguine was dry and overly salty. They didn t have one of the dessert s topping left etc.. was looking forward to dinner but it was disappointing! Didn t even have the decency to offer some sort gesture like dessert on the house to make up for the lack of food.
A small restaurant with a summery ocean feeling, perfect for a hot spring and summer afternoon! Food was DELICIOUS and the shrimp hotpot was so warm and hearty. We had the salt and pepper chicken wings (better than fast food ones) chicken club sandwich, and shrimp hotpot and the total was $78. The portion size was big, and perfect for sharing. Service was speedy and the food wasn t too heavy though.
Food 3 out of 5. Service 3 out of 5. Atmosphere 4 out of 5.
Lovely little restaurant with friendly staff and a good selection of drinks and appies.
Amazing food and staff... I could see it getting busy so maybe make a reservation for a sunny day. Highly recommend this place Parking: Very busy on a sunny day
Good food Decent service Cheap on their pours Food : 4/5
Burger tasted like a meatloaf, fries werent hot and really salty.
My wife went with a friend tonight. She was very disappointed with the quality of the food and its cost compared to other eateries in South Surrey. I suggested she do a review but she simply said shell never go back. I was there once a few years ago and frankly I felt the same way. There are many very good reviews so I guess our standards and expectations are much higher. I would expect the quality to match the cost but perhaps thats becoming a thing of the past.
Very nice little restaurant. Very rustic feeling. Food was good and service was great.
Great place around the corner from us to grab a tasty meal and drink. Atmosphere is always warm and pleasant, staff are friendly, no complaints
The food and service here was great. The staff was very attentive and friendly. I had the stuffed chicken and very good. Everything was great.
did not go there
Glad we stumbled into this gem! Fish and chips were amazing, friendly staff, water never ran out of my glass plates cleared right away, food was hot, such a great experience. The vibe was homey. Scott our server was top notch! We will be back!
We wanted to spend a nice day at crescent beach and decided to stop into this restaurant to have something to eat, we were not disappointed the calamari was lovely, the beer battered cauliflower wings were sensational!! Staff were very friendly and attentive. Atmosphere was great, loved the funky decor too. Highly recommend, we will be back for sure!
The food and drinks were absolutely incredible! Our server Scott was so friendly and very professional, he was great! Will be back :)
Dark dingy restaurant with very limited menu. Ordered a super salad, which came drenched in too much salad dressing, funny tasting chicken. The chickpeas that were in it were ruined, they looked and tasted deep fried. Partner ordered a chicken sandwich, he couldn t finish his either because didn t taste very good.
Just a little too dim for my preference of an ideal dinner setting. I expected a tastier food for the price tag. But overall, it is a nice cozy place.
Great food, young server was a very friendly young man and attentive
A very good experience, excellent service and good food, the team at The Cabin proved it was a good choice for us to good. A bit tight on space and a little loud because of it, but still a very nice evening.
The place was lovely, but a bit chilly.
Such a cozy spot with delicious food.
Great little spot. Yummy good. Had the clubhouse sandwich. Was amazing!!
Our dinner was delicious, would definitely dine here again
Fantastic meal! Friendly... fun staff! Thank you!
Always have great food when my family comes here. Cant say enough great things about Scott, he was wonderful! Food : 5/5
Delicious, fresh food and excellent staff
Wow. Amazing food, excellent service. And so fun. Dietary restrictions: I am celiac and they were great with helping me find gf options Food : 5/5 |
Great flavourful fresh food with very friendly staff! Will definitely be coming back!
Honestly really great for the price. I had a wonderful piece of walnut crusted steelhead. The only disappointing thing for me was my cocktail was pretty mediocre.
Our experience was everything you want at a restaurant; good food, great service, nice atmosphere. Our serving staff were prompt and attentive, the food was excellent (the mussels were awesome). Looking forward to our next visit, and will bring friends to share the experience.
Nice place. Nice food options. Beer selection is a bit limited but good enough. Parking can be a challenge given the location
This restaurant is worth the trip. Amazing food in a cozy environment. Ended up going back to back with different groups.
Food was delicious. We ordered the clam chowder, onion bread and garlic prawns to start. Chowder was one of the best Ive tasted, very flavorful and the prawns melt in your mouth. We split the short rib plate we were ordered and they offered if on two different plates for 3 dollars extra. Worth it. Portions were massive for each of us! I recommend getting a reso if you go on a weekend, it is relatively small and very popular.
Flatbread/Pizza was burnt on crust and too crispy, but their tomato sauce on the seafood pasta dish was delicious. Service a little too loud. Nice place and will probably go back
This was my 1st time here, and I was celebrating early Valentines Day with my love. I loved the music and the atmosphere. All the servers were very nice and the food was very good, it definitely had a homely vibe.
Fish cakes and chicken club sandwich and a couple of pints of Blue Buck. Both excellent were excellent. This looks like a place we will enjoy trying for dinner.
The hot pot and seafood linguine were loaded with flavor and a crazy amount of fresh seafood!!
A lovely time! Great service, delicious pasta, fabulous location for an evening stroll
The best customer service Ive ever received at a restaurant. Went there last night for the time time, Keith was an amazing waiter and was so good with my 3 year old. His recommendations on the menu were perfect. He made this restaurant experience memorable for us. Thank you
Great
Amazing customer service. Everyone was so friendly and welcoming. Clam chowder was the best we ve ever had. Lamb chops was really good as well. Just wish they cooked the fat on the lamb chops a little more but other than that everything else was perfect.
Great service and a lovely meal.
The restaurant is a bit old maybe its the theme that theyre trying to preserve. Otherwise really good service and ambience was great too.
Have been eating here for years. Good food at a reasonable price. No fancy decor but food is very consistent.
From the food, service to ambience, all 5 stars!!
We had the most delightful & enjoyable evening at The Cabin a couple of weeks ago. We went for my son s Birthday & we certainly weren t disappointed! The food was beyond mouth-watering and delicious. The server, Keith, was exceptional I haven t seen this precious level of customer service in years. This is now our favourite restaurant to go to. Well done everyone!! (There were 3 in our party, appetizer, dinner & drinks were $40-50 each well worth it!)
A very cute cozy, and chilly restaurant with a good menu. The servers were accommodating, and quick but the food seemed overpriced for the size. We went a chilly morning and had to keep our coats on for most of the meal because of how cold it was, which felt off putting to starting the meal. Overall, I dont think I will go again, but if you are looking to spend a nice meal in the area it is a good option
Our big family birthday dinner tonight was great thanks to Matthew our amazing server. We will be back soon. Thanks!
Great service by Scott in a very busy restaurant!
Outstanding service by Scott who was working with a busy crowd. The complimentry Chocolate Peanut Butter Pie was awesome and made up for the over spiced soup.
Cozy place not too far from the beach, so when its a bit chilly or drizzling you should try the seafood rice noodle cioppino hotpot. Super delicious with the mussels, shrimp and fish in this beautiful spicy broth. Nice garlic bread. They also had some beer specials as well. Would definitely come in to try what else they have again. Service was nice also.
The prawn & scallop dish is full of flavour and cooked perfectly. Riley is always full of smiles, has a fabulously bubbly personality and great service
This place is consistently delicious! The staff are friendly and helpful and the food is amazing. Would highly recommend! No a/c so be prepared for that on a hot day, though! Still worth it. Get the halibut
Great food. Salads were top notch. Service was A-One
Never been to Canada. Wish I could go. Sad that I can t. One star.
Great drinks great people. It s not easy running a business in this town. Thank you for your time!
Super good
My husband and I have been coming here for years. The service and food are incredible. The owners are very personable. The mussels are a must try.
Sauce tasted watered down
Love this place!
I cannot believe they charged me 24 dollars 4 a frozen prefab hamburger absolutely disgusting.and unethical.and didnt inform me...I strongly do not recommend them.waitress said she didnt no but cook admitted it
Good food and drinks. The plant based burger was awesome. Busy place for lunch. Service is fast and friendly.
My husband and I visited BC for our honeymoon and discovered this gem after spending some time at Crescent Beach. The restaurant had the most charming esthetics and relaxing atmosphere. The waitor was so friendly and provided the best service we encountered out of any restaurant we went to (and we went to at least 20!). The food was the best and was well presented. I will be sure to recommend this place to our friends and family when they visit the area and we will definitely return when we come back to beautifuo BC!
Amazing food!
What a great little place, we went here on a whim for lunch on our 30th wedding anniversary, i had the clam chowder and the muscles and they were delicious , shout out to Lindsay who gave us outstanding service
Had a delicious dinner this evening. Ordered the beef short ribs with mashed potatoes and the special for the evening: halibut with coconut green curry, 3 prawns, rice noodles and roasted vegetables. Both meals were excellent but the special stood out. The curry was mild but had lots of flavour and the rest of the dish was incredible, kudos to the kitchen crew. Combined with great service from Scott, it made for a great evening out. Highly recommend.
Love this lake!
Really great food and nice service!
Terrific little restaurant near Crescent Beach with cozy atmosphere, great service and delicious food. The halibut special was amazing.
We discovered The Cabin last year and really enjoyed our meals. So it was on our list for this year and went last night. We shared the calamari to start. It was fresh and very good. We ordered a bottle of Burrowing Owl pinot Grigio to go with the meal, good price and excellent. My wife had the thai curry and asked for it spicy. She said it was very good. I had the seafood linguine also very good. Good service and cozy atmosphere, a nice relaxing dinner !
Superb food and ambiance at White Rock , Canada
Food quality and atmosphere was great. Service and menu selection could use some work.
Great place at Crescent Beach to stop and dine-in. Food portions are decent but the appetizers and salads could be cheaper or larger. Thats my opinion. Staff were welcoming. Food
Very nice and cozy atmosphere. Went in after a walk along the beach, and was really happy I did ! Ordered the stuffed chicken that was amazing and my girlfriend ordered the steelhead. The flavors were absolutely unbelievable. We ended the dinner with the berries crumble and that was perfect.
The food was delectable. Scallops were cooked to perfection and the sauce was to die for. Will definitely be coming back.
The best restaurant in Crescent Beach!
VERY LOVELY restaurant at Crescent Beach! Was very surprised by the cauliflower wings, the maple syrup combined with the crispy cauliflower was perfect! Very friendly service overall! Would visit again! Food : 5/5
A quaint restaurant with really good fish and chips. Prices are reasonable. We went mid afternoon for a late lunch so it wasnt busy. Its just a few blocks from the beach so nice and convenient. Parking is decent.
Great atmosphere, food, and service. I had the halibut and shrimp feature and it was delightful. Very close to the beach for an amazing after dinner walk!
Very nice place. Dont have to dress up to get great food. But worth a nice date
Hello sir i give you many reviews on your website if you want we give 50 reviews in 100 $ i give one review for demo if you want sir so contact me on this number 552850020 Food
We have been here a few times and have had a decent meal-the food is OK. A few days ago though, we stopped to order takeout of 2 clam chowder and a side of bread- to take to the beach and look at the ocean. Sounded wonderful! We were SO disappointed in what we got! $27 for a small amount each of chowder-which was SO salty, and NOT anything like what we hoped! It actually made us thirsty. The bread was 3 small pieces of crusty bread- I think-and it was just AWful too! Burned, AND soggy bread- with an awful oily spread on it. What happened here?? The place wasnt even busy-so that wasnt it. We WONT go back now, as that should have been a pretty basic order- and it was sadly AWful enough for me to write this-but the beach WAS beautiful as always!
I was disappointed that the seat was badly ripped and looked like it had been that way for a while. I didnt want to sit there. A positive thing is that they dont presumptuously pre-fill the suggested tip at 15% or more like so many restaurants do.
Awesome food and great service!
Great, friendly service.
We wanted to go to a quiet restaurant for dinner. Excellent friendly service. Food was perfect. We will be going back.
Tonight, I tried the mushroom soup and the vegan fillet. Both were great! Very good waiter, Scott. My partner had the excellent clam chowder and the ribeye special. Sangria is still $10! Fantastic! First time weve been here in the winter. Worth the drive.
Incredible food in a warm & welcoming casual setting. Top notch service, just a great experience all around.
Excellent food (I mean EXCELLENT! The ale braised beef short ribs are spectacular!), great service (genuinely friendly and efficient without being annoying) and good music. I think I may have found my new favourite restaurant. Highly recommended for a romantic meal, dinner with friends or family or a quick bite.
The Cabin exceeded my expectations on all levels. The staff was equally as fabulous as the food!! Sadly, we didnt have any room for dessert. We will be back soon. Thanks again Food
Its really great place to be. The server there she is very nice and serves food with happiness.
So charming I m happy to have finally came in with my daughter. Live close and new to the area, so lucky to have this open 7 days a week. Quality chowder! Free home made chips to start. Kids menu. Will be back .
Not as busy on week day, otherwise its a waite
The food ,atmosphere and service is awesome. My favorites are the braised short ribs and the goat cheese Flatbread but everything weve tried has been delicious.Service was excellent and love the cozy atmosphere. Close to the beach to go for a walk after or before dinner.
It s disheartening to share this review after five years, but recent incidents prompted me to revisit a regrettable experience at this restaurant. Half a decade ago, my family and I were regular patrons enchanted by the food and ambiance. However, a peaceful morning brunch turned sour when my younger child, feeling uneasy, started crying. Struggling to soothe him and avoid inconveniencing others, we were surprised when a waitress approached us minutes later with a demand to leave, citing disturbance to fellow guests. Oddly, there were two other families with crying children, but we were singled out. Expressing our efforts to calm our child, we were met with rude language and what seemed to be a discriminatory tone. The waitress suggested we should have opted for a family-friendly place like I-Hop instead. The insinuation left us feeling embarrassed and upset, culminating in our decision to leave without finishing our meal. Despite reaching out on Facebook to voice our concerns, there was no response, fueling the suspicion that discriminatory attitudes might permeate the establishment. This unpleasant experience has regrettably become our last with this restaurant, leaving a lasting impression of discrimination that we never anticipated when we initially enjoyed their offerings five years ago.
Nice cabin feel with great food and the staff were awesome.
A great little restaurant in the heart of Crescent Beach. The food was good, the wine was priced reasonably, (various drink discounts are available) and the service was friendly and very attentive. With the name The Cabin in mind, you will find this quaint diner has been decorated with a theme from the past, and its a nice touch. My only complaint was that the (dinner) food prices were a little high based on the perceived return. That said, this was dinner and the lunch menu offers some great options which weve enjoyed on other occasions... Overall, a very nice dining experience - thank you!
Very nice service. Food is average. Very busy, good business
the food was delicious and the bread was the best 17 dollars i ve ever spent but the staff were very rude and judgemental.
Honestly the best place I ve gone to for fish and chips
Had the most wonderful evening at the cabin! The atmosphere was perfect, service was incredible! And the food was absolutely delicious ! Highly recommend
Very nice.
I ve had lunch and dinner at this spot, both time s I ve left feeling like I had a fabulous experience. The food was great and the service was perfect. The two girls working today made sure we had everything we needed and we can t wait to come back!
Had a wonderful family dinner at this restaurant last night. The food was absolutely delicious and the service was top notch. I would highly recommend this restaurant
Friendly staff Delicious food
A nice, quiet atmosphere. The food is excellent
A lovely dinner date location. The decor is quite unique and many items can be a conversation piece. We sat by the open window on a sunny evening. Our waitress was friendly, attentive and we didnt feel rushed. We had the delicious calamari, cioppino and steelhead. The bread that came with the cioppino was buttery and grilled - yum. She offered the dessert menu; that was tempting but we were full after the entrees. Would love to share an entree next time and have dessert too!
Came here for date night, man did it not disappoint! Food and service were top notch. I ordered the walnut crusted steelhead with maple chili glaze. It was so good my husband kept trying to steal my food. Our server Courtney was a sweetheart and very attentive. Highly recommend this place, we can t wait to return.
They have the best customer service!
The food is so incredibly good. Well worth a visit one of my favorite date night Spots.
I love this place. I go there often with a friend to have lunch. Its pretty remote if you live in Vancouver but its only a 35 to 45 minute drive even from the heart of the city. The cabin serves great food and a terrific surroundings. And after lunch you can walk a block or two and beyond the walkway that goes around crescent Beach. Dont miss it.
Good service and good food with a nostalgic grandmas cottage vibe. Kid-friendliness: Kid was very happy.
Love this place. Staff is extremely friendly. Great food and great times.
Fantastic food in a wonderful setting. The service was excellent.
Amazing place with a romantic vibe, tasty food
Great local place. Wonderful food and friendly service!
Great food! Y all gotta try the cauliflower it s incredible. We were served by Keith and he s the best, friendly, funny and energetic.
Super delicious x 4 meals...everyone happy!
The food is horrible. We ordered chicken wings and fries - pretty basic. Chicken wasnt fresh, overly oily and chewy and flavorless. We requested if they could put some chopped garlic or garlic powder on the fries, which the server agreed for, but we were disappointed. Beers were good as.claimed by my friends who had it , I chose a cocktail which was good.
All the food was delish! Short rib sandwich highly recommended!
Late lunch of shared vegetable flatbread with added baby shrimp followed by blueberry pie and ice cream. Delicious. Great service too.
Great food and coffee
Delicious and surprisingly cheap cocktails! We had mussels, calamari, halibut and beef short ribs... all were fantastic. Great service, great atmosphere. Nice and romantic for our anniversary.
Good food and beach vibe.
Great food, but the highlight of the spot was the exceptional service. Keith went above and beyond to ensure our table was taken care of.
A unique cozy feel with fabulous customer service and food
Its a little overpriced.
Rustic feel, great menu and affordable prices. Location is awesome, you can have a bite to eat and then have a stroll on the beach.
Great place to eat. Try out there mussel bowl.
Quick Dip into the Cabin for Delicious beer and some dirty fries!
Wonderful food. Amazing service. Love the classic ambiance. I recommend the fried cauliflower appy!! Good date spot, follow with a walk to the pier :)
Food was really good! I had the chorizo with chicken instead of shrimp. This place has a cool vibe. I gave three stars because the service was severely lacking. Our drinks were forgotten about some never came, rarely replenished, and we had to ask for our server a few times. The hostess was very attentive in clearing the table however. Due to the lack of service , I unfortunately won t be back as I can go to other places for about the same price.
I can t say enough about this quaint little place not far from the beach in Whiterock! We were greeted by amazing staff; friendly, happy and genuinely interested in creating a warm experience for my friends and I. The food and drinks were divine. Looking forward to the next time!
Absolutely gorgeous little quaint restaurant with a superb menu and very friendly staff. One of the best candle lit dinners for a couple of youngins visiting from Sask. Will be highly recommending to my family and friends in the area.
This is a great little restaurant with fantastic food (I had halibut and fires - best I have had in a long while) - need to book a table tho .. they are in demand
Wonderful dinner for my Mums birthday. Food was delicious, we had the calamari and garlic prawns appy, great portions. The mains we great, rack of lamb cooked perfect medium rare, seafood hot pot, seafood Alfredo the only not so great was my daughters halibut didnt taste very fresh. Our server Matthew was 5 stars pleasant, polite and wonderful warm smile. Always a nice place to visit will be back for many years to come. See you again
Keith was the best server and made the experience awesome!, we will definitely be back for the soon
Second time for lunch live it Kits but worth the drive! Steamed Mussels are to die for!
This restaurant has a nice vibe to it. especially this time of year. It was our first visit and wont be the last. We enjoyed the service, the atmosphere and the food was great also.
Drinks Appy Snacks Mains Dessert Top quality, unexpectedly good. So much fun!
The Halibut Burguer was too fried/dry. I was expecting a better food quality food experience.
Absolutely terrible service. One star for the good beer selection and one star for the ambiance. Food was nothing special.
The ribs dinner with sauce was top 5 dishes I ve ever had. Fantastic waiter and the restaurant cabin has the look and feel that was warm and inviting. Highly recommend and will be back.
