Living in Surrey most of my life, I can say that a lot of the pizza establishments are "good". Most of them are identical -- you can put a blind fold on and wouldn't be able to distinguish one from another, like trying to distinguish filtered and tap water. But this restaurant is unique. I will die on this hill saying that their pizzas are THE BEST pizza in the city (maybe even the lower mainland). I could tell from the quality of ingredients used on a pepperoni pie, to the way the crust develops in that scorching hot oven. Everything is different in the best way possible. If you enjoy high quality food made with passion come here. If you want to have a memorable experience with a loved one, come here. If you have the time and are willing to travel, come here and you will not regret it.
Hands down the best Margherita pizza I’ve ever had! The tomato sauce bursts with fresh flavour. I always look forward to treat myself this pizza after a tiresome week. If you’re a pizza lover, you need to try this place. One small suggestion for the restaurant : please seal the delivery orders for an even better experience.
I was initially unsure about this place due to the area, but I decided to give it a try with a delivery order—and I’m so glad I did! The pizza was outstanding, with an authentic crust that was just perfect. The personal touch really made my evening. I’ll definitely be a repeat customer!
Amazing amazing pizza! I was recommended the Meat Trio because it was their most popular and it did not disappoint. The dough/crust is outstanding, perfectly crispy, and the right amount of chew at the same time and the sauce was on point. The crust was not salty, but not plain either. It paired perfectly with the sauce, cheese, and meat toppings and with the house-made garlic sauce. To me, the real star of the show was the meat toppings, though. The ham, pancetta, and hot salami added notes of salty and spicy. My favorite way to eat the pizza was to fold the pizza in half, almost wrapping the part with toppings around the crust. This way you get the whole symphony of flavors in every bite. Add the fact that the service is super friendly and this is a place worth finding and making the drive to. I will definitely be back to try their other pizzas.
While driving by I noticed his pizza sign. Working close in the area. Later on in the day I decided to look up his Google reviews. With a 4.9 I quickly made the decision to put in an order for an individual pizza. The owner was super polite and easy to chat with. His wood over is hot and cooked the pizza fast. 8 mins and the pizza was out the oven. The undercarriage and crust were perfect. I'd give the pizza a 8.1. He compt us some homemade garlic sauce as well. It was a deadly dip!! Definitely recommend. The outside of his place looks a bit industrial. But that's the whole area. Inside was clean and would have stayed and eaten my meal if it wasn't made to go.
We came here right when they opened on a Friday afternoon. Its located in an industrial area so it was extremely busy with takeout orders and people coming in for lunch. The couple that owns the place is so friendly and went above and beyond to make our experience comfortable. They answered all of our questions thoughtfully and were able to make our pizza half and half. The Pizza was loaded with fresh ingredients and tasted phenomenal. It was not too heavy or greasy but still filling. It is nice to finally have a Neapolitan pizza place in the area so we will definitely be back!
OMG the pizza here was friggin DELICIOUS!! 🤯🤤🔥🔥🔥 The pizza here is considerably larger than my average sized e-Sports Asian gamer hands. 🎮🖐️🫢 I'm so happy Surrey has been seeing a rise in awesome food lately. This pizza joint is comparable if not better than some pizza joints in Vancouver that also makes brick oven style pizza. I ordered two of their popular large pizzas through DoorDash: - Meat Trio - Industrial Road Meat Trio was amazing with a good amount of premium meat toppings. It was cooked well and it wasn't too salty which was good. Industrial Road was my favourite of the two, the sausage was huge and chunky and the mushrooms went really well with this pizza because it made it more juicy. Overall, both pizzas were amazing and I highly recommend getting the large size because it was so worth it. Yes, the price was a bit steep especially if ordering through DoorDash, Ubereats or Skip but the size of the pizza and the quality of the ingredients definitely make up for it. This pizza joint is similar to Captain Ovens Pizza in Surrey which I also like, but now that I've tried the pizza here, I can honestly rate the pizza here slightly higher than Captain Ovens. I believe the size of the pizza here may also be a bit larger than Captain Ovens. Honestly the only thing I would want to see from this place are longer business hours, especially Fridays since they are closed on Saturday/Sunday. It would be nice if they close a lot later on Fridays. I can't wait to try out the other pies here. Next time I'll definitely eat at this establishment with some of my pizza connoisseur friends. ❤️🍕
The pizza here is to die for! Everything from the dough to the toppings were amazing! Soft but crunchy dough, super fresh ingredients, the fennel sausage was so yummy! It was super clean inside aswell, had a nice cozy atmosphere, beautiful spot! Everything was 10/10.
Ive been going with my friend every couple months as a treat and this place never fails to disappoint! This is honestly the BEST pizza Ive ever had in my life! I dont think Ill find another better spot than Philosophy Pizza!

Funny, I didn t think it was gonna be that good but for the area, sure is worth visiting and ordering! Not sure if it s cool to go late at nite as in the industrial area but maybe those other online companies will do it. Ordered the chicken by the slice as didn t realize their top sellers, Meat Trio and Industrial Road have to be ordered by the whole pizza. Located in a house, no surprise. By Secure- Rite storage.

Wonderful pizza. Fresh and tasty. Son recommended, Ordered it for a work lunch. Everyone enjoyed it. The garlic sauce was so good. Will get a bottle next time we order. Will be my go to in the future

Okay, I don t write reviews very often, but this place absolutely deserves it. It was the first time me and my boyfriend visited this place and for sure not the last. Everything from the food to the atmosphere and the service was simply amazing. Even the process of ordering online on webpage was super easy and pleasant! We just can t stop talking about how much we liked this place.
Great pizza, fresh ingredients. Amazing lunch specials, 2 large pcs and a pop for $7 (as of 2024). The stone oven cooks the food perfectly. The inside ambience is fantastic for informal get together with friends or quick business meetings with clients. Food

Food was well ive had better pizza, the toppings and cheese are net to none, but the owner was polite, the place is clean and 8 think they are going for a stone oven pizza not a regular type pizza so that would account for the toppings.

Best pizza Ive had in Vancouver without question! The location is a bit difficult to find at first but it is very worth seeking out, you wont be disappointed. They offer pizza by the slice and always have a variety of classic and unique pizzas to choose from, and for a great price. The owners/staff are always a pleasure, Im so glad to have found this gem!

Really really good pizza, and great friendly staff. Probably the best pizza you can get on this side of the river with captain oven coming in at second place. Some ppl have mentioned its a bit pricey, but its very in-line with other pizza places that uses similar high quality ingredients, and their larges are 18inches, in contrast to the traditional large that are 14-16 inch pizzas.

The best pizza you will ever have outside Italy . Fresh dough, soft in the center, little chewy and crispy on the edges, most flavourful ingredients! I ve eaten on their first day of business, and I m in love with their pizza ever since. My favourite is the Hot salami and roasted garlic. Also, very charming service
Fantastic pizza with excellent, friendly service. The pizza was delicious and the variety was great. Well worth driving out to the location it was at. The prices were reasonable, especially for the quality. The garlic and spicy salami was amazing. I will say that their pepperoni pizza was the best Ive had in Canada. Well definitely be back.

I have been many places in my time and pizza is one thing I think I know a thing or two about. Except for going to the top pizza places in Naples, this is the best pizza place in the world. Crust is incredible, sauces are outstanding, ingredients are all top notch. They also had a Gochujang Chicken pizza recently that was absolutely inspired. They abide by traditional Neapolitan but also have a creative spark with fusion pizzas. They are going places. I just wish they were closer to home, but let me tell you, I drove from downtown Langely to there and drove back home just to have their pizza.
Excellent pizza and a great atmosphere. Not much parking, but worth the effort. Apparently they will have the patio open for the summer.

Honestly some of the best pizza I ve had in a while. Came here with my friend cause we had no idea where else to go and I m happy to say that I m definitely coming back! The owners are so friendly and welcoming, the lady made my friend and I feel so at home. Oh and don t get me started on their sauce . ITS SO GOOD!! Only thing I d say is that it is on the pricier side but with this economy and every other factor involved, it s expected. You can even see them making your pizza right in front of you it s so cool! Update: Brought my boyfriend over there today and the owner still remembers me!! My boyfriend hates going out to eat but he didn t complain today! 100% recommend Philosophy Pizza. It ll change your life.
Our new favourite! My family has order pizza 3 or 4 times now and it is always great. You can tell the owner cares and the quality is fantastic. Do not skip the garlic dip, it is the best!
Pizza was so good. Classic fire oven pizza with delicious toppings and fresh dough. Cant wait to order an XL fresh. June was very friendly and Sammy in the back looked like he was working some magic. Some much needed quality food in the area.
This beautiful place has amazing stone oven thin pizzas! Absolutely the best pizza in Surrey. I have tried Prosuitto & Arugula and Walnut Brie. I hope everyone must be trying the quality of their pizzas.

A hidden gem in this area. We tried a few different pizzas from the menu and they were all satisfying. Even my four year old kid loved it! Either you work in this area looking for something to eat for lunch or are driving by and need something to bite, try this place. The food, cozy interior, and the friendly staff wont let you down. Highly recommend it!
Still our favourite pizza place after the 4th time. I haven t been able to write a proper review since we were too eager to devour the pizza and left with nothing to take picture. This time thank God I remember to take photo (still had to take a bite first lol) If you like crispy light airy and perfectly charred fired pizza, this is the place. It is by far the best pizza we ve tried in Greater Vancouver (and we have tried many, from Commercial Drive in Vancouver to Maple Ridge and even Langley). They have many options to choose from, especially vegan/vegetarian ones. We ve tried so many (order a large one so you can try 2 flavours in one go). Our favourites are Five cheese, Meat Trio, Eggplant, to name a few. They make their own yummy in-house sauces and always happy to provide honey as well. Service feels like home where the two lovely owners run their own show. They literally built the place from scratch brick by brick, and have put so much love and effort in this place. As a customer who has tasted love in each of their pizza, I honestly want them to succeed. We are always welcome with big smiles and warm greetings. Our three-year-old loves it here. The place is tucked away in an industrial area, but it s worth it to make a detour and explore this hidden gem. Next time, hopefully I can take a photo of the whole pizza

I ordered online so can t say about the restaurant or service. I sadly had the worst pizza of my eating career here. A pepperoni. No one could eat it. There were liquid pools of grease leaking through the box on the side and bottom. I know pepperoni can be greasy but this was a whole other level. It got such good ratings but this was truly horrid. Thrown out immediately with all but one slice remaining in the box. That slice, with two bites out of it landed beside the box. I d really like to try this place again but honestly not going to risk it. I have some stars for service because there was a nice note on the box. I bet they are really nice. And maybe make good pizza but I didn t get it.

I love those out of the way restaurants that look a little odd but make amazing food. This is definitely one of those places, with a location that is far from convenient but worth going to for some outstanding wood-fired pizza. I really enjoyed our order of The Industrial. If I lived closer, I could see myself eating here often.

Cool clandestine place. It Reminds of those places that only locals know in Europe. I can see the passion of a person who wants to give their best and enjoying their business growing it little by little. A secret location, not easy to find at first but worth trying. I ordered a three meats pizza and it was excellent. A little feedback from a food professional seeking perfection, I wish there was mozzarella di Buffala on this particular pizza and some little work on the dough flufiness would make just perfect. I drive by this place a lot stop by and gave it a chance really random place to have a pizza shop but it was delicious. Came back a couple more times. I always stop by when I can even if I already packed a lunch for the day.

I was pleasantly surprised when I walked into the Philosophy Pizza House. The interior design stood out right away, its attention to detail, woodwork, and colour combos created an atmosphere of care, passion and comfort. I had the Pancetta Funghi that came with tomato sauce, pancetta, mushroom, onion and cheese. I enjoyed the combination of these toppings and felt satisfied with the softness of the thin crust. The pizza was delicious! The owners, Sami and Joon, were welcoming and willing to share the details of how the interior design work came together, especially the meaning of the clay wall that they built. I recommend everyone to go to the place for their delicious pizzas and to learn about the stories behind the name, interior design and enjoy the pleasant atmosphere.

Ive had generally good experiences here, and the overall quality is in line with other Pizza Ive been to.Staff is courteous & friendly. Pizzas were very good & staff prepared them well, making them correct due to requesting extra ingredients.
I did not expect to find this hidden gem in this area. It was a great surprise getting in this place, from the interior to the food! Every single bite was a pleasure. There is nothing I wanted more than I had. Even though the place is quite far from where I live, I would definitely go back.

Wow!!! I can t believe a proper thin crust, New York style pizza shop is in my neighbourhood. Pizzas were exceptional and the garlic dip was awesome! My newest favourite! The candy canes and note of thanks on the boxes was a lovely touch.
This place is amazing the service is exceptional pizza is so so yummy definitely one of the best i ve ever had and the design of the restaurant is just beautiful and super cozy. I ve tried many of the kinds of pizza and they are also super delicious would definitely recommend. Pizza is also huge!!!
