KINTON RAMEN opened its first location in May 2012, debuting as Toronto’s first authentic Japanese ramen bar. With a dedicated focus on ramen, executive chef Aki Urata is uncompromising in his pursuit to serve the best quality noodles and broth. Our experienced ramen chefs prepare each and every topping, using only the freshest and highest quality ingredients. At KINTON RAMEN we invite you to experience our variety of exceptional ramen bowls, right down to the last drop.
Came to this ramen restaurant with co-workers after seeing it the day before when I had lunch with my wife at the Thai restaurant. The restaurant is very cozy inside as it is packed when busy. The servers were very friendly and appreciate their cheerfulness. The restaurant serves different types of ramen (pork, chicken, beef and veggie) with their own unique broth. I chose their Kinton combo that included their Burnt Shoyu Ramen, with choice of Tokyo Fries or Gyoza and select a drink. I choose the Hot Yuzu Honey Tea as I like yuzu however the drink reminded me of those citron marmalade drink mix which was a little disappointing. Also the server didn't ask me if I wanted the fries or gyoza and just gave me gyoza which I didn't mind since I was going to choose that anyways. It was pretty good as it was crispy and the inside pork was juicy. The ramen overall was good. The noodles were chewy at the right texture. The ramen broth was very good as the umami was wonderful. However the char siu (pork slices) was not burnt at all and was looking forward to it. Overall pretty happy with this ramen. Will be back again to try their other ramen.
Loved the ramen, and the staff was super friendly. Thank you for making us feel great. Kelly was awesome, and she helped us understand what ramen is and how we customize orders based on requirements. Food was awesome too. Thier spicy is really spicy so I would say be cautious when you order one of the spicy and garlicky dishes. Misho was best for me.
Kinton Ramen’s Surrey outlet delivered a satisfying dining experience despite the bustling crowd. The staff were impressively friendly and attentive, even as they handled a full house. Their dedication and effort were evident, and I appreciated their service, though I could see the exhaustion on their faces. The ramen itself was delightful: the noodles were well-cooked, and the broth was rich and flavorful. While I’ve had slightly better ramen in Vancouver, Kinton was nearly at par, making it a solid choice for ramen enthusiasts. One area for improvement would be more effective seating arrangements. Our group of eight had to wait approximately 20 minutes in the cold, as two guests were seated in a way that prevented us from being accommodated together. It was a minor inconvenience that, while understandable given the circumstances, could perhaps be managed better. Overall, I left fairly satisfied, thanks to the delicious ramen and the hardworking staff. With a bit more attention to seating logistics, the experience could be even more seamless.
Loved this place! The ramen was amazing, but I have to say – the rice was surprisingly delicious too! Perfectly cooked and full of flavor. Can’t wait to come back and try more~
Great Rame miso soup and fried dumplings we ordered the original beef ramen and pork miso soup I like the taste of miso soup ramen. Looking for parking under the save on foods 1hr free just registered.
Good food, good service and good ambience of the restaurant, very clean. They greet you soon you enter and greet you as well when you left. There is a free 1hour parking down stair just enter you plate number. Or if walking in its near in king george skytain.
Love the ramen here. Their ramen varieties are fantastic and it tastes really good. Their veggie gyoza is simply amazing. Also the service is excellent. They are very welcoming. It also gives a good feeling whenever you meet them and see their smiling faces, the dine in experience becomes even more satisfying.
A new ramen spot has recently opened in Surrey, boasting over 1,000 reviews and a rating above 4.5 stars. I was intrigued, but also a bit skeptical. While I appreciate that this restaurant includes beef options on the menu—a rarity in the local ramen scene—my visits have been a mixed bag. The ramen itself doesn’t quite live up to the hype. It’s decent, but not as good as the high ratings suggest. The service has been consistently fair, nothing exceptional. The seating is more functional than comfortable, making it better suited for a quick meal rather than a relaxed dining experience. On the plus side, they offer set options, which is a nice feature. Overall, it’s not on my go-to list for ramen.
Overall an ok place. Ramen was ok a tad bland. Fries and the yuzu lemonade was good. Service ok had to wave the servers down to order, for water and for our bill which would ve been okay if the store had been busy but unfortunately they were standing around cleaning/ chatting to each other
It s great restaurant authentic Japanese food great service. Food must try : wow I love the ramen! Spicy garlic. Definitely it s my favourite spot now. Food : 5/5
The menu is small but they re good at what they do, too many places have too much. The cheesecake was really good including the seasonal ramen/ spicy beef ramen. The part that made me want to rate 5 stars is I live in Abbotsford and was staying the night and accidentally left my hotel key for Port Coquitlam and the waitress ran out to inform me I left it behind. I think that in itself is worth the rating.
Food is delicious and the staff is fantastic! Recommending this spot to everyone. Vegetarian options: They have a vegetarian ramen available. Dietary restrictions: They asked us for all our dietary restrictions before we ordered. Kid-friendliness: They have super clean high chairs available.
My first time here at Kinton Ramen! Great Ramen Spot in Surrey by the King George Station! I was in awe of the area as it has developed so much and so many new high rise buildings are getting built in this area. As for the Ramen, it is great! I got the Garlic Pork Spicy Ramen. Their main 4 types of Ramen are Pork, Beef, Chicken, and Vegetarian! All 4 of these offer spicy options as well. Lots of different varieties on their menu! Their customer service was great! They are very friendly and provide great service and make sure everything is running smoothly and efficiently! Parking: Free Parking underground for 1 hour. If you need to extend your time you can just put your license plate number in and extend your time!
10 stars for staff customer service 10 stars for their team work that amazed me as a customer 10 stars for the joyfulness and happiness that made the ramen taste even better x100
Order online pickup order for 11:15 got here 11:10 waited for order people walked in order food after I got there and got there food served to them still waiting for my order for another 20 mins
Nice ramen and good service, usually get food within 5-10 minutes of ordering.
The service crew was so welcoming.
Yummy Ramen. Will be back for sure.
Good food. Excellent service
Really good Ramen and nice restaurant. Seating is a bit limited and there isn t a place for you to put your jacket, but the food itself and service definitely make up for this.
I love the soup and ramen! Its so comfy to have a tasty ramen soup during cooler days. Definitely will go again!
Great place with great ramen! Lots of options to choose from, as well as four vegetarian options. They remember my order and greet you every time you walk in the door. They have a stamp card system that is very unique in which eventually you can get a free topping for life. Plenty of free one hour parking around in the underground parkades. Will be going back again soon! Thanks for the service!!! Vegetarian options: 4 different kinds. Parking: Underground garage, under save on
The high Google rating for this establishment is perplexing, as the food quality is merely satisfactory and lacks any exceptional attributes.
Great Ramen taste just like in Japan
Well..I was anxious to try the new feature which was sesame creamy broth with seasoned pork and toppings. I ordered it on the phone and asked for no chili oil as I m very sensitive to spicy the lady Advised me that I could substitute regular pork chasu so I did to be ready to 25 min (because I was at an appointment) I walked in and she said we de used not to substitute the pork and give you the spicy ground one I told her it wasn t just a matter of being sensitive, I medically cannot eat spicy. So then they talked in whatever language and the chef came out and said without the pork it would be tasteless and handed me some salt syrup to put in to give it flavor. No explanation but just it s salt add it if it s bland) here s my issue. I ve had ramen many many places, I sometimes order JUsT the broth and by itself it is very very flavorful. These guys are relying on the meat to give it flsvor. And to cut this review a bit shorter let me say, even with the salt syrup it wasn t great. The broth on its own did not hold up and the miniture thin park slices I received were hilarious.
Staff were very helpful in suggesting gluten free options for my ramen.
The meat was still cold in the raman, and when i asked, was told its all pre cooked and frozen and just microwaved and put into the raman. Got food poisoning that night.
Delicious ramen, rich soup, clean place, good service.
So delicious! Cozy place, very friendly Vegetarian options: They have veggie ramen using a soy base and veggie gyoza Parking: 1hr free underground parking after that its pay Kid-friendliness: Its very small and the chairs are stools. Not suitable for small children
Great ramen spot!
Terrible ramen not worth the price. No flavour. Overall terrible quality and cheap noodles
Had the pork miso ramen + egg. The service was quick and the wait staff were very attentive. They have combo meals and meals for two for a slight discount as well! I would return!
Nestled amidst the city buzz, Kinton Ramen beckons with its exceptional creamy broth. The venue, albeit a touch chilly and sporting less-than-ideal seating, adds an unexpected charm. Interestingly, the cooler ambiance enhances the experience, making each steaming bowl of ramen even more satisfying. Notably, their Pork Spicy Garlic variation stands out as a must-try, adding a tantalizing kick to the already exceptional offerings. Despite minor comfort quirks, Kinton Ramen remains a haven for those craving superbly flavorful ramen bowls.
Fantastic pork and beef soup base. The noodle hardness is controlled well but the noodle itself isn t the highest quality. The second picture is I brought the soup home and made another ramen
I don t know I just don t like the food here very much, the broth is not rich or flavourful it s just salty and the toppings are very limited I ve just had much better ramen elsewhere and this is not it
Food is mid
Hands down the best ramen I ve had in a while. The veggie original is so comforting and delicious .
Original flavour was to bland and they lost our order in the process. We had to ask for it after a long while.
First time visiting.Server was friendly and efficient. Ramen was ok, broth needs more flavour and wasn t very hot. Green tea water was lukewarm. Chicken donburi was very unappealing, tiny cubes of processed chicken, rubbery, no flavour and not hot. Should be taken off the menu.
Other day I saw a huge Line for their anniversary sale . I thought I try it out when it was less busy . I don t understand the high scores . Flavorless broth lol. If your desperate to satisfy your ramen cravings then sure come here but there are at least 2 other places which are better in Surrey
From the friendly reception, amazing Ramen and attentive service, I would highly recommend this place.
I live right beside Kinton. I have been visiting since the place opened. Initially, they were serving it in a big bowl, but now they ve changed to a smaller bowl. I understand that things are expensive, but they have also reduced the quantity and amount of soup in their new bowl. Before, they were serving a full bowl, and now it s not even half of it. Now it seems its expensive as they charge more and serve very less. Best ramen I must say that.
Normal ramen, even tasty, but not wow. Gyoza is the same. They prepared it quickly, but the waitress looked more at the phone than at the hall.
More things to dislike than like such as upscaled prices with not enough meat, noodles undercooked, charging extra for egg on most dishes. Cool spoons though
Best authentic Ramen in the entire area. Picture is of the original Ramen . This is the first Ramen to arrive in Japan and is the original benchmark for all Ramen that preceded it. Any Ramen place that doesnt serve this isnt authentic. Food
The original ramen is too peppery in my opinion, but everything else is good Parking: It s in a parade across the street Food : 5/5 |
I dont really like the Chicken and Pork flavor, (my personal taste, dont like meat without marinade) Other than that are all good for me Food
I had the pork original ramen. The both had depth, wasn t too salty, and had a nice peppery note to it! The thick noodles had a perfect bouncy chew. The bamboo shoots (menma) were a little too sweet for my liking but maybe others would disagree. The price was alright- seems like prices are rising everywhere these days!
Kelly Amy and Rachel provide amazing service. I frequently visit here for lunch it is delicious!!
I dined in for the Golden Sesame ramen and some gyoza. The ramen was really tasty. It had a nice balance of chili oil and sesame paste with a seasoned minced pork. The gyoza were super crisp and incredibly flavorful, I am definitely coming back for a bowl of the garlic beef!
Please add this onto the menu permanently!!!!! Great service (murali is great) and delicious food! They have different flavours for broth which is amazing! Usually it is only one. This chilled ramen is absolutely delicious and all I like to eat here unfortunately as I prefer cold ramen. Please add onto main menu or give me the option or a secret menu idk!!! it reminds me of japan
I love the atmosphere and food! They gave really nice pork broth. They even have live takoyaki! #foodie #japanesefood #takoyaki
Ordered the CHILLED TSUKEMEN with extra noodles which I loved especially during a hot day out. Excellent service and quality of food!
Nice ramen
First time here but, wow, the good was good. Well be back for sure.
This is such an awesome ramen place!!! We were there pretty late , around 9 pm, and there was a wait list. We decided to wait for a table (about half an hour it was) and it was all worth it!!!! The service was amazing , they called us in, served with a warm attitude ,and even put our food in the to go boxes and offered couple extra straws since those are paper and we re not in a good conditions after half a drink! We had quite noisy toddlers with us , but the staff was super nice to us and understanding.the summer deal was so generous having fulfilled us with ramen, drinks , and fries (everything was so yummy!).
Great Ramen spot and amazing service, very considerate and pleasant staffs. Recommend the spicy garlic option , broth taste great , we also tried the Miso Ramen which is more mild. Vegetarian options: They have vegetarian option ( not vegan). We tried the Miso and Spicy garlic version. Parking: Parking at King George Hub below the Save on Foods is free for first hour then 3.25 per additional hours.
Well, in conclusion, it was delicious. The first impression upon encountering ramen is that it is a franchise ramen restaurant that makes well-cooked ramen using commercially available broth paste, chopped prepped refrigerated meat delivered from the head office, and boiled at the right shaving time. Its a good ramen restaurant where the taste is flawless and the employees are friendly. You wouldnt go out of town to eat this ramen, but its a restaurant worth considering if you have business nearby. However, the Karaage chicken served on the side tasted slightly sour, and the starch powder on the outside seemed to have been overcooked, so it even had a bitter taste, which was a bit disappointing. This restaurants gyoza got a lot of mixed reviews, so I deliberately avoided it and ordered the Karage, but if I had to give it a score just for the Karage, I would give it about 1 point, and it was the most disappointing of all the Karage Ive had in a while. This place seems like it would be okay to just eat ramen. Oh, the thing that came to mind while writing was that until a few months ago, I ate it at a Michelin-starred ramen restaurant located in the back alley of Kyotos Nishiki Market for 1,600 yen and thought, Wow, its expensive, perhaps because its Michelin-starred. Eating franchise ramen that seemed to be sold at the food court at Exit 3 of Hakata Station at a more expensive price for the same price made me feel like I was back in Canada again. Its no secret that I felt bad about the restaurant, so I ordered takeout chicken from Jollibee across the street. Parking: Make good use of the 1-hour free underground parking nearby.
Solid place to get ramen, though its a bit pricey for what you get compared to the competition. I enjoyed the broth, eggs were a tad salty , chashu needed for flavor. Make sure you get the thick noodle cuz the thin noodles were underwhelming. I would probably come back here since I wanna try their donburis.
The portions are quite limited, are not enough
super nice staff, delicious food, and amazing services, it was totally worth it!
We live in the area and finally tried this gem. This was my 1st time ever having it as I am a super picky/selective eater. My Husband got the Beef Spicy Garlic and I got the Veggie. Were Indian and I thought it was spicy . I personally wasnt a fan of all the raw garlic on top I would say it was approx. 1 tsp. Id definitely get that on the side next time or remove as the aftertaste was gross. We tried the matcha ice cream in the end for only $1 and it was delish as well. Our server was Mio and I cant remember the last time I had such amazing service. I am a foodie and I REALLY appreciated her excitement and enthusiasm for me. Thank you so much and we cant wait to return!
Pork ramen is very good. The soup tastes deep and fantastic. I used to visit some other places. But this place and food are great. I am very satisfied and happy today. Personally, I got digested well.
Service is great. Ramen thick noodles are soft, broth is creamy and flavorful, pork was tender. Fried gyoza was also delicious!
We usually go for ramen in Richmond, but this time thought we would try Surrey. This was our first time here & we will definitely be back. Delicious, great service & atmosphere.
Delicious ramen served in a cozy atmosphere with quick service.
The best ramen restaurant.
Pretty good ramen in the area. Seasonal changes occur to ramen which allows it to have something new once in a while. Service is great, Cherry is always super nice to talk to, and always joyous.
Idk how this place has 5 stars, food was average no OH or AH moments w the food. Not fresh eggs, and charge extra on whatever they can.
Watch out !! Where s EGG ? Spicy beef and chicken ramen with price up?? Need extra $$$$$ Never back again!!!!!
First time here and not bad location! The staff are super nice and ramen was pretty good ! I dont come here often but it nice to know there ramen option here at King George station
It has been awhile since I have had a bowl of ramen... but what a WONDERFUL PLACE to have such a GREAT BOWL OF RAMEN!!! Would give a sixth star if I could. Food
My favorite Ramen house so far! Ramen tastes the same whether for dine or delivery! Superb mouthwatering Ramen in town! Go try them out!
One of the best places I visited, Mio our server was amazing, we told her it was our first time here & she patiently went through the menu with us With some great suggestions on what we may like. Totally worth the money & highly recommended BRAVO to the entire TEAM!!!
Vegetarian options: Very delicious veggie ramen! Food
Today, my wife wanted to have noodles, and after searching online, we found this ramen shop with over 1800 reviews and an average rating of 4.8 stars. Since we usually have Vietnamese pho, we decided to try Japanese ramen for a change, and we were not disappointed. Well definitely be coming back often. We ordered the original pork ramen, pork spicy garlic ramen, grilled chicken, and matcha ice cream. This is the best Japanese ramen Ive ever had. Kinton is definitely the best Japanese restaurant in Surrey. The flavors are delicious, the portions are just right, and the service by Mio was excellent. The matcha ice cream was also very tasty. We also tried the pork gyoza, which was delightful. The restaurant has a cozy seating capacity of 32 seats, making it feel intimate and welcoming. Whether youre working at SPACES nearby or on a date, this is a great choice. Remember, theres one hour of free underground parking. Dont forget to get a loyalty card. Mio made our experience even better with her friendly and attentive service. After youve enjoyed your meal, leave a review like I did!
Not worth the hype. They had patrons write review for free dessert. Im not sacrificing integrity for free dessert so Im writing an honest review after the fact. Highly overpriced ramen, no toppings on my ramen, everything costed extra, even basic veggies. Not a fan of being nickle and dimed, though more recent menu looks like they are including some toppings in the price for the Spicy Pork Garlic. Food itself is descent but certainly not phenomenol nor worth the price. I tend to judge ramen by the chasu and the ones here were underwhelming.
Great place for Ramen! For Ramen, looking for broth that isnt too salty but yet have flavor and tasty food. They have pretty good broth and fold is flavored quite well.
Excellent customer service!
The food is medicore. I am sensitive to the hardboiled eggs (soft egg yolks) and broth but they were not impressive. This does not mean ramen is not delicious but it has the similar quality you can get any Jap restaurants where serving a Jap ramen. Korean style of hot chilli chicken balls/karage was good but you have to watch out the chilli powders which can make you cough.
Service is good, and food comes fast. The food portion is a bit small compared with other ramen restaurants. But the lunch special combo is a good deal for sure . Ill recommend it if you live/work nearby and want some ramen occasionally. Not a bad choice.
Been there once and liked it .
The food was delicious, but the waitress never gave me a pleasant look from start to finish. I thought she was just like that, but when regular customers came, she smiled while taking their orders.
Food was good, specialty ramen ~$20, no eggs. Small restaurant yet slow service. Free ice cream if you leave a review. Free indoor parking for the first hour
Very delicious ramen with vegan options. Servers were very kind, but the service was a little slow. So glad to have this place so conveniently located.
The spicy garlic pork ramen is a 10/10 sooo yummy! Full of flavour, spicy, filling. It s definitely a must try. We had the hot karrage it was ok, and the pork gyozas were really good.
Ramen tastes rlly good here, but the interior feels quite packed
I love this Ramen!!! and the staff is friendly. Good atmosphere at a good price.
The moxibustion ramen is delicious, and the tamagoyaki are delicious The noodles are of good quality The communication between the shop staff and the ramen chef is in Japanese Love it so much Highly recommended
My family went for dinner and we were very happy with the experience. They accommodated our baby girl without us even having to ask. The servers were very friendly and efficient. The food was very good, broths were spicy without being overly spicy. Next time were back in BC, we will definitely make another stop here. Parking: Free one hour parking in lot
First time visiting this place and it was phenomenal! Since there was not a lot of people when we came in, our order came fast. We ordered Pork Miso and Pork Original. The noodles were cooked perfectly and the broth was rich and creamy. Overall dining experience was great! Staff was quick and friendly. Highly recommend!
Stopped in the other day and were blown away by the friendly and attentive service we received. Thank you! (Ramen also delicious)
Definitely my new found Fave Ramen place! Food tastes so good, service is great and a very cozy atmosphere!
We had dinner at KINTON Ramen yesterday, and the food was good. We have been dinning here for the last few months and the service was always wonderful and attentive, except for tonight. Our server didn t seem very friendly and barely spoke to us, except when taking our orders. My daughter who is 10 yrs old even pointed out that our server is very rude to me when I ask for extra plate. I just let it go so that our night wouldn t ruined. Anyway I won t go to anymore details about how it wasn t a goo experience it was dinning at KINTON. I just hope that we could be all kind to each other especially when working at a costumer service.
One of the best ramen places weve been to in recent years! Came twice last week, haha... We are officially Kinton fans and started a Bowler stamp card. Tried their summer specials cold ramen with tender chicken, and love the Pork Original broth, very umami. Their slight grill/char on the pork belly definitely imparts a nice flavour and additional depth. The Miso broth isnt very strong on miso but is very heavy/rich in overall flavour. Their lemonade drinks are really tangy and refreshing! Current summer promo also gets you a matcha ice cream for just $1! Parking: First hour free (once per day, must get a ticket), paid after that. Free street parking also available on the West side of King George.
Ramen was delicious and service was good. Really good fried chicken.
Must try their Spicy beef Ramen!!
If youre on the hunt for a killer vegetarian ramen, look no further. This place has tons of vegetarian and meat-based ramen dishes. The service here is amazing - super friendly staff who are always happy to answer any questions about the menu, and the atmosphere is so relaxed and chill. We tried the Veggie Spicy Garlic ramen, and it was the highlight of our dining experience. Tons of flavor with just the right amount of spice and packed with veggies. If youre into ramen, then check this place out. You wont be disappointed! Vegetarian options: Veggie Original, Veggie Shoyu, Veggie Miso, & Veggie Spicy Garlic
Really great service and super tasty ramen. Had the spicy pork and the limited special burnt shoyu; both super great! 100% will be going back again soon.
You dont have any privacy when the restaurant is packed, thus they should redesign the seating space. The meal is really mediocre and not worth the cost. My ramen noodles were just mediocre, and the gyozo which I believe was frozen and simply fried was awful. Although the quick service is a plus, what good is it if the food doesnt taste well?
I am surprised by how many 5 star reviews there are for this place. Tried the Spicy Garlic and Burnt Shoyu and both soup lacked depth. The noodle to soup ratio is also unbalanced. The place looks nice and the service is attentive, wish the food could have lived up to everything else.
The brothless ramen is amazing. Its a must-try. Its a summer special. I hope they dont remove it.
great ramen, quality karaage
An amazing experience! Ive been in search of a new ramen spot since the Ive been going to for years has since closed down (Hakaku in burnaby). Will definitely return! Thank you!
The food was great! Arigatu!
Good
Great ramen, great service. Very hospitality and kid-friendly, good portion with good price and taste. Parking: One hour free, parking is downstairs but tight. Kid-friendliness: Store is very friendly to kids.
First time ever having Ramen and it was incredible. Can t wait to go back and try it again. One hour free underground parking at the King George is awesome. Hope it stays that way.
Even though the parking is not great but the ramen was so good and not salty.
Tried the burnt shoyu ramen and have to say was slightly disappointed. I love my ramen though so Im picky. For me, the flavor was lacking depth. Was expecting a stronger burnt flavour and too much pepper taste.
Great food and service!
The ramen today is very good, the location is very convenient, the environment is clean and tidy! The service was very good, we ordered spicy beef ramen, spicy pork noodles, and drinks, the soup base was very rich, and the food was served quickly because there was free parking downstairs for 1 hour! Just one hour to eat, a good experience Vegetarian options: Parking: 1 Kid-friendliness:
Noodles al Dante , very springy Soup and meat delicious, karaage super juicy and hot. Food
Dont get the chicken ramen, soup base tasted like Maggie chicken broth noodles were okay, otherwise. Green tea ice cream and pork gyoza were nothing special.
Amazing place to get quick yet cozy food! Bringing everyone here!
Food was good Vegetarian options: They had good vegetarian options Food : 4/5 |
Great food
The staff are nice! The food is awesome! So lets talk about the food. I ordered the Burnt shoyu ramen. The charred notes in the broth are not over powering and adds to the richness of the shoyu broth. The chashu isnt too tough but its also not to thin either. I also did the thin noodles first and they are cooked well. But if you want a chewier noodle I would recommend the thick noodle I had this on a refill and its cooked well also. The gyoza taste fresh and the crunch is good as well. If you want some local ramen this is definitely the spot to hit! I did the meal for 1 and it was 2 dollars extra on top since I did the burnt shoyu. The wait can be long since its a small shop but I would say definitely worth the wait!
Amazing service, they were very thoughtful at providing a wonderful experience! Wide selection of food at a cheap and reasonable price with a phenomenal taste! 10/10 would come again
Food is amazing
good value, great food
Very spicy and delicious
Very delicious!!!
We saw this on XHS and had to come give it a try super glad we did! The kids loved the ramen, and the garlic chilly soup base was to die for. Service was very friendly. We re coming back for more!
Great location and staffs are very approachable.. beef originals so yummy
Good service and great location... My first time to come here and the food was so yummy. Difinitely will come back.
Great service, and the food is perfect
The food was delicious and service was amazing. We will definitely be back
Great service, the pork spicy garlic is delicious!
Set for two for only $40. Decent price with good quality food.
Delicious food, meats are fresh. Gyoza are really crispy too.
tried the new special chili ramen tough it was hit as hell, but it didn t cover the food original taste one of the best in town i would say
Liked the Noodle s texture and the soup is very tasty. Small place but nice food and service.
As good as I remember it it Toronto. The gekikara is very very hot!
Im allergic to cherries.... but Cherry was an amazing server! Always been a pho guy never liked ramen but this place hit the spot :)
Since other reviews had mentioned a potential bias in reviews, I wanted to mention that Ive never been compensated for writing this. I just wanted to share my thoughts, and I want to see this place improving. Ive dined here before, 8 times before. I was one of the people who was anticipating the arrival of this restaurant. It brought competition to another ramen place in this area, Umami Ramen + Grill. This time, I went and ordered a Lunch special - it costs $12 in total, a plain ramen (with pork original broth) and pork donburi. The donburi was excellent, with a rich, smokey and savoury taste, but the ramen was not as great. Lets start with the good parts. The topping choice that are included in the ramen is good, and the noodles are nice and springy. In fact, Id say that the noodles here are better than the noodles from Umami Ramen + Grill. However, as other reviews pointed out, the broth is left to be desired. Its very light, with a hint of pepper, and it leaves a very slight alkaline or soapy aftertaste. It has been the same taste since the first time Ive dined there. I was hoping that theyd improve after a few months but, it was the same as the last 8. It didnt matter which kind of ramen, the broth was always the weakest point. The competition, Umami Ramen + Grill, does much better broth. They make a much more savoury, rich broth that shows why they named their restaurant with their name. They offer a wide variety of other appetizers and desserts that I havent tried, but they seemed to be quite nice. Overall, the only reason that the food isnt 1 star is because of the sides. The only problem is the broth, but its a massive problem considering that they advertise ramen as their main course. As for the service, it was average, but I did find the server here being a bit more active. I have social anxiety, so personally I didnt like it, but I did not deduct stars because of it. Its okay. The atmosphere is what really sells this place to be honest. The marketing is very well done. The graphics design for the advertisements and the menus are beautifully made. The restaurant itself is quite new, as it is recently built. When you walk in, you are greeted with Japanese, and also when you leave. The experience is quite unique to the restaurants in the area. But, the last nail in the coffin is the price. The lunch special that I had this time was a great value compared to their usual pricing, and what competitors offer - $12 for a bowl of ramen and a bowl rice with good toppings. But their prices for the rest of the hours... $17 for a pork original WITH the unsatisfying broth, this place is hard to recommend. If you are looking for a unique experience, this place is perfect for that. But, if you are looking for better than average ramen, I have to recommend Umami Ramen + Grill. They simply have the better ramen.
Food was good and the restaurant ambience is also nice
Wonderful place to enjoy ramen!
Absolutely delicious ramen! The broth is rich and flavourful, noodles perfectly cooked, and the toppings are fresh and generous. The ambiance is cozy and inviting, making it a great spot for a comforting meal. Staff is friendly and attentive.
Clean and cozy little ramen place. Food is delicious, nice atmosphere, friendly service, reasonable prices. Highly recommend.
I ordered Spicy Garlic Veggie ramen and to my surprise it was super flavourful and yummy. It had tofu which was little sweet and delicious. I think it is one of the best ramen I had. Would love to try others next time. Thanks for your wonderful hospitality :)
Food is great, the ambiance is nice and cozy and the staffs are polite and attentive..
Excellent service from Verdana! Had a lovely dinner!
Verdana was a lovely server! The food was delicious and my family had a great time :)
Would really recommend restaurant, had the best experience and service! Food was fire! Our waiter Verdana was such a Queen :)
I love it here, food is great, staff is always nice, definitely my favorite spot in the area!
Food was really good specially the burnt shoyu ramen, staff are really friendly and the place is really nice and clean.
Amazing food, incredible staff. I don t remember the last time having such a pleasant experience due to an amazing server- thanks Kelly!
Overall is good,traditional Japanese Ramon.
The customer service at this place is incredible! I ve never felt so taken care of and cared about as a customer. The soup combos are a great deal and you can t skip the cheesecake. Kid-friendliness: Very accommodating for kids. High chairs available.
Been to this location twice. Extremely reliable and quick, friendly service. Will be back again!
Very good food, the ambience are great and staff were so friendly!highly recommend this place!
The $12 lunch offer is really good. Although the restaurant is small, but the atmosphere is great. Services are also good and polite. Recommended.
First time trying their pork rice. Loved it. Very good food! And service is great.
Second time being here.Beef miso is the best, also match cheese cake is my sons favorite
Great spicy Ramen.
Came with friend, first time. Satisfied. Will come again try other stuff. Food : 5/5
Ramen is tasty
This place is an absolute gem! The food here is beyond amazing every bowl of ramen is packed with flavor and cooked to perfection. Its no wonder my favorite ramen comes from here! But its not just about the food; the service is top-notch. The staff is incredibly friendly and accommodating, making every visit a delight. If youre a ramen enthusiast or just looking for a fantastic dining experience, Kinto Ramen is the place to be. Vegetarian options: My sister always does the veggie option ramen and she loves it. Dietary restrictions: I m on a low sodium diet and they make modifications for me! Love it. Kid-friendliness: My picky-eating toddler loves the ramen here. I usually order no-to-low salt and there s still so much flavour he loves it so much! The staff is always so sweet toward him. He loves coming here.

Awesome ramen. Spicy garlic is my fav! Definitely coming back!
First time eating here today, the food was delicious. Loved the spicy ramen, edamame, and the spicy chicken karaage. Making a karaage and having it juicy, is very hard to do, this place does it perfectly. Highly recommend.
I loved it! My first time eating Ramen and for sure I m coming back! The food was delicious and the attention EXCELLENT! They have too many options to choose, 5 starts Kinton Ramen!
great food!
Great
Found this little cute ramen place to try! Amazing service! Food was very decent and portion was good size.
Its a new place, so its clean, and the staff is friendly. The ramen soup is delicious, but the amount is a bit small, and the price of from $17 to $20 seems a bit expensive compared to the amount. The lunch menu is a reasonable price for plain ramen and pork donburi at $12. However, other ramen is expensive.
We had a great meal in this restaurant.
Large selection to choose from with large portions. Extremely friendly servers who took the time to explain the menu. I tried the spicy garlic pork with thin noodles which was full of flavour! Will definitely be back!
BEST RAMEN EXPERIENCE IN THE WORLD EVEN JAPAN CAN NOT COMPETE SERIOUSLY YOU WISH U COULD FIND RAMEN THIS GOOD ELSEWHERE AND THE SERVICE IS UNBEATABLE GO RIGHT NOW AND SPEND THE day The veggie spicy garlic is the best soup its perfectly balanced with everything for the lovers of spice
Love the veggie miso soup i come here just for that it is so soothing and perfect for bc weather
Excellent, quick, and convenient place to get solid Ramen at a good price!
I tried ramen for the first time in my life at Kinton Ramen and it was the best experience in the world!
A very nice place, the service was very good and they delivered our food quickly. In general everything was excellent.
This beautiful place, tasty food and good service
Bland ramen that is overpriced with terrible service. You re better off making store bought ramen than coming here. You should go to Zubu in Metrotown if you want quality. You won t find quality here.
This is one of my favourite Ramen spots in Surrey really good every single time I ve been and it s been consistent each time. They have a lot of great specials and a wide selection of options are great too. Highly recommend you check it out. Food
It s definitely not worth 4.8/5, more like 3/5. The ramen was tasteless and the broth was ok. The pork I got on my ramen was 80% fat, it s just not what I would expect an 4.8/5 ramen place should have. It s mainly because their broth flavour is not rich and ramen was tasteless even eat together with broth. I had to ask for salt to enrich the flavour of my broth. Atmosphere and service was fine.
Came here because google have 4.8 star review. Don t think it worth that. The vegetable noodle has a tofu that s still refrigerated, and canned bamboo shoots. But no bean sprouts. Food : 1/5
Food was great. service was awesome. Loved it. Definitely will be back for more.
Great atmosphere and friendly staffs. Definitely will come back.
Went here last month with my friend and it was our first time trying out the ramen place. We had an amazing experience. The service and food were great! Will be back again
The staff here were all very kind and attentive. We had recommendations based on our taste and they turned out to be perfect fit for us. Spiciness was good enough to bring on our appetite. Thick noodle was very chewy which I liked so much. Parking: 1-hour free underground parking
Nutritious and tasty ramen, washroom is clean. Service is good and fast. Food
