Food is very very good.

Good food, good ambience. Though it didnt feel like the one in W Georgia-Cambie intersection, was glad to experience similar vibe and good food close to home.

Food was really good. I had the dynamtie and tuna sushi rolls. Definately recommend it.

All the staff went above and beyond but especially the manager that was handling a whole section of tables. He was running food, buying, making drinks, he was everywhere. Very impressed with the service and quality of food and drinks. Thank you so much for a great night out!

It was OK, nothing special

Food portions have shrunk so much we thought we ordered off a kids menu by accident. The French Beef Dip bun didnt have proper bun ends, they were straight cut, where is the rest of the bun? The burgers were so small they almost looked like a slider. Service was slow, we were there at 2 pm, there was hardly anyone there. Our dirty appetizer plates sat there until dinner came, which seemed to take forever. Atmosphere was nice but thats about it. Disappointing.

We ate here with family. The server when bringing our drinks spilled a full glass of wine on myself, the table and chair. The server did apologize for the mistake but absolutely no discount on the meal. I wore most of the wine on myself and my clothes, I understand mistakes happen but it should have been a discounted meal in my opinion. I have ate here several times but with this happening and zero discount on the bill well I will certainly look to go else where for dinner.

Watched our ahi tuna bowl sit for 20 minutes or more while they cooked our pasta. When they tried to serve us the raw tuna sitting on the heat counter, I mentioned it to them. I was met with an Um.. yeah. Want us to remake it? Our server said all of 5 words to us the whole hour and 14 minutes. Checked on us maybe once. Was not compensated what-so-ever. Both my boyfriend and I have worked in the service industry and kitchen for years, how many people are you guys serving pathogen filled tuna to?

I ve really enjoyed the brunch menu. However, today I got the beef dip and it was SO good. I m pretty picky about beef dips. The au jus was so flavourful and the bacon jam amazing! Service was great. I ve been really happy with the food and service here for the most part. My husband really loved the Caesar salad.

Much more pleasant than other Browns that Ive visited. Nice and clean - including the ladies loo (cant comment on the gents). Any food Ive had there has been well-prepared and tasty; wait staff are pleasant and mostly attentive. I hesitate to say avoid the patio because its a nice place to sit on a warm evening but that pretty water feature harbors rats that are known to visit.

This Browns is close to 5, minor subtleties held me back but it is definite Go To for me! In the days of $25 burgers, the Smokehouse has a Big pattie, beautiful bun and the ceasar with bacon Chunks was as good a meal as I gave ever had! My niece had the steak sandwich, again, a very decent piece of meat, ordered rare and came perfectly. Well done, service dude was excellent, this Browns is dialed in!

Place is great, it is open till late but the service was okay. Got interrupted multiple times during a conversation and I could literally see the frown on her face. I understand it is disappointing if people do not order much items and may lead to less tip. You cannot pressure customer to buy more! Did not get water also :-|

I love Browns. Honestly, eat here about once or twice a week. I enjoy the guildford location as it seems a lot bigger than the other locations in Surrey. Server was nice could have been better but it is what it is. Relaxing environment and busy. Tried the house red wine for the first time - not what I would order again but was curious. Plus can never go wring with the calamari... yum!

Fairly good Burger. But no napkins. No atmosphere. Server was dead to the earth. Youll have morefun at Fat Burger. Dont waist your money. Go to a actual pub No Burger and a beer deal. Whats up with that. Food

We always get takeout from here. My fave dish is the potato crusted cod bowl served with salad and delicious rice. I have a celiac so it s the perfect meal without the croutons of course. I ve informed them each time about my concerns and they even write gluten free on the bowl when I take it home. The food is always cooked perfectly and taste great. Dietary restrictions: I have celiac disease and every time I ve eaten here I have had wonderful experiences. They take it seriously.

Nimi or Mimi (todays day server) was awesome!!! She was very attentive and went above and beyond to make sure the guest dine in experience was more than just good. It was our first time trying out browns and to be honest it was really good. The prices were OK, the food was amazing, and the service was excellent! Our food came out quite fast even though there was only 1 guy in the kitchen, our water cups were always refilled right after they were half way empty, and our plates were cleared as soon as we were finished. With the service we received from todays day team we will definitely be returning!!

Service and food was great

Went in to eat restaurant was pretty empty, we were told kitchen is busy so food will take longer. As a kitchen manager I understand. Food came out faster than we were told. My Hollywood burger was bland. This is not the first time food was bland.

After booking a birthday party, 25 people were crammed into the isle between tables. Thank God there wasnt a fire. We were treated very poorly by almost all the staff after that. The manager could not have cared less. I will not be back. Reply to owners comments: Thats simply not true, someone is trying to cover their butt. We asked for 25. When we arrived the manager said we only booked for 20. There was not even room for 20, as thats all that actually showed up. Even after insisting on another table, 1 hour later, 6 moved across the restaurant and we still didnt have room. We were literally in an isle. Again, not safe for anyone.

Nice place, convenient with a lot of parking space. Nice quick staff with neatness and professionalism. Although I wish they kept their outdoor patio in winter time. Would have been a cozy place with some heaters and blankets. Food : 5/5

very bad experience. i walked in with 5 of my friends and there was 2 people in front of me and my friends and the waiter came and asked them if they needed help and took them to a table. we stood there for 15 minutes and then the waiter asked us if we needed help and we said yes and she walked off leave us standing for another 10 minutes. eventually we left because the customer service was horrible. save your money and your time don t go here.

Worst customer service server was so rude when i made the payment my son was holding the debit machine he just snatched machine from him and just went away didn t even asked for the permission my son was crying badly that was really disappointing i will not recommend that specific location

feb 2 2023 went there again last night, food excellent, server fantastic, music still way too loud for conversation. Food was great! Went for lunch with co-workers on a quiet day ... hardly anyone there when we arrived just before noon. We were seated directly under a music speaker which was too loud, I mentioned moving but waitress said she would turn it down. We asked several more times about the loud music and it actually seemed to go up in volume. We noticed on the way out that the area where staff hangs out ... on the edge by the kitchen, the music was half the volume. So please, people go out for a nice lunch to chat and enjoy a meal together - not to yell across the table at each other. Music was good btw

Browns has become my go-to. I honestly believe they have found the sweet spot in terms of hospitality. Theyve perfected the vibe (neither too formal nor too casual), the food is consistently great and the service is always on point. Highly recommend the loaded nachos and the crispy calamari with a pint of pale ale. Cheers

I called tonight to complain the food from last week but the manager tonight didn t take care of my complaints and Very bad service I ordered butter chicken but NO chicken at all and Did not follow the instructions of my order and I ended up wasting the dish !!!

I ordered Brownies for take out but when I got the order brownie was all cold. Then I spoke to manager he said Warm it up at home lol. Even none of there Staff told me about it when I ordered, like it will be cold as ice cream. On top Manager doesn t know who to treat a customer.

Service was fabulous and we really appreciated the amount of gluten friendly options as well as the ability to order a half size pasta. I must say the have the best nachos ever. Dietary restrictions: Impressed with the amount of Gluten Friendly options.

Come here often for a late dinner after a hard day of working. My wife and I always share a French dip and some appetizers! Great service, great food and a casual atmosphere, what more could you want? Perhaps just another lime margarita on the rocks!

Gr8 fish & chips. Not greasy, crisp fish. The in house tarter sauce was the best Ive had. Coleslaw, was not slathered in mayo, very good.

Im a big Browns fan but todays visit was disappointing and this was my first time going in a long time, so I hope things havent changed overall. Wish I took a pic of my cowboy salad. Half of one date for the entire salad and next to no feta or walnuts. Super disappointing. Also, the hostess asked me to wait at the door while she made drinks. While I get she was multi tasking, the place was almost empty so I didnt get why I couldnt just take a seat/table while she made the drink. Took as much energy to come tell me that as you can sit here, Ill brb. (ended up at a table right by the door).

Browns Social house is a very nice place to grab a beer and dine out with family, there is a big outdoor patio which is kind of busy in Summer, inside has nice ambiance with windows around, big bar and a lot of eating options. We had spicy fried chicken & Pickles and sticky Thai chicken as starters with Beer. Cesar was good. Dinner was good. All in all a good restaurant in Guilford Surrey. Our server Nidhi at Guildford Browns was amazing. We ordered a dynamite role and forgot to ask for no sauce. She was so great apologized even though it wasn t her fault and placed another order right away. She made our day. Kid-friendliness: Was really great with my kids.

Hidden behind Guildford centre, I found myself here recently for dinner. The menu had great offerings, including a handful of mocktails, which was nice since I had a long drive ahead of me. The service was a bit slow, but we chalked it up to being a weekend evening and there was only a few servers for the entire place. One of our party enquired about certain dishes due to food sensitivities and our server wasn t too sure so had a few back and forths to the kitchen to enquire for us, but it took quite a while for her to return. We finally decided and enjoyed our drinks as we waited. When the food finally arrived, the one order that was requested to have changes to came out as it appeared on the menu. The server mentioned they could fix it, but given we had already waited so long for this, my friend opted to just pick around things. Overall the food and drinks were good. Might not come back on a weekend evening, but a week night or lunch could be worth it.

As always, very nice place for a brunch, I love steak and eggs and some times order avocado toast or pouched eggs. We only tried once dinner, but we enjoy more brunch.

After a spontaneous appointment left us hungry and seeking food yesterday afternoon, we thought wed take the opportunity to turn this outing into a date night. So Ozzy (hubs) quickly scanned his phone for local restaurants that ticked off all the boxes mainly, good food at affordable prices, comfortable atmosphere, and not too far from home and stumbled upon Browns Social House. Neither one of us had tried it out before, so we thought wed give it a go. And boy, are we glad we did. We both ordered steak dinners, which is kind of gutsy considering the sports bar-like atmosphere. Ozzy had the Steak Frites (aka fries, which are to die for!) while I went for the Blackened Cajun Sirloin, graced with smoked cheddar scalloped potatoes and seasonal veggies (broccoli). Ozzy thought the scalloped potatoes sounded so good, he ordered a side for himself. And here I thought *I* was the potatoholic. We both ordered the roasted mushrooms as an extra which is a definite do-again. And due to the confidence in Todds eyes when he assured Ozzy the chef knows how to cook a steak, Ozzy went for broke and ordered his blue rare. He did not regret it. I went for medium-rare and it was utter perfection. *mwah* Ozzy upped his game with an enticing 9 oz glass of Canadas own Jackson-Triggs red wine, which just happened to be their house wine. One of my faves. However, next time and there WILL be a next time I might just take him up on that glass of pineapple jalapeño marg(arita). I often kid around to friends and anyone wholl listen that Im addicted to jalapeños and will eat them in just about anything. I didnt think Id be considering drinking them, but here we are. For dessert, we tried their housemade Oreo Cookie Jar. Slightly full from dinner, we thought wed order one and share it. So romantic, right? Sure thing, but next time Im having one all to myself. This amazing dish was cheesecake layered with crushed oreo cookie. There was some whipped cream and an intact oreo involved, but thats all I can remember before drifting off into an oreo-cheesecake stupor. As for service, I hope Todd is the standard there, because it was refreshing to have someone of his caliber helping us make our first-visit choices. He was laid back, friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive without being intrusive. The last time I ate at a steakhouse, I confused the poor young server with the same questions I put to Todd. The dinner rush was starting to kick in as we headed for the door. But before leaving, I took the opportunity to look around a little more. They have a casual bar that reminded me of Cheers in a way, with a few patrons sitting around. Theres a large gap in the wall, offering patrons a peak into the kitchen. In addition to indoor dining, they also have a nice-sized seasonal patio with trees and stuff. I look forward to trying it out next summer. Ive also just discovered they do pickup and delivery. Looking forward to trying this out in the very near future. I wonder if they deliver the oreo-cheesecake?

Latest visit today November 18, 2023 I am a regular customer and couldnt help but notice that shrink-flation has finally hit this place hard! As usual I ordered their Cajun steak but was disappointed that the size had shrunk by one-third and the price, $35.00, had expanded by $7 to $8. I wanted it medium, which I got, although the cooking and cut was not upto par with lot of connecting tissue difficult to cut even with the steak knife. Informed the waiter to pass it on to the manager. Definitely not good value for my money. Disappointed --- ------------------------------------ These guys are in the old Keg place. I have been to their Lougheed location in Burnaby and am enamoured with their Almost Famous Blackened Cajun Salmon burger. Unfortunately they no longer have it on the menu, at least at this location which was a bummer. Atmosphere is cozy and service is good. I had BAJA FISH TACO which was very good.

A bit loud

Just wanted to give a shout out to the wonderful Manager working at this location. We encountered an appetizer that was not up to par and he quickly stepped in and identified the problem. He made things right. He truly cared about his customers. Well done!

I ordered Classic hot wings it didn t have enough chicken and no sauce on the wings.Then ordered the spicy chicken burger which had little sauce and wasn t even spicy. the fries were plain with no flavour or salt and pepper. Waitresses weren t checking up even tho this place is empty had to get up to call one over. Also got charged for extra sauce and seasoning. I highly don t recommend this place.

We had a group of 11 for supper. The server was very friendly but seemed a little frazzled at how busy the restaurant was. Then we found out she had a table of 16 also and two other tables. She did an amazing job with taking our orders , making sure we had what we needed and wanted the entire night. She was fantastic, my absolute bad for not remembering her name. The drinks were cold, the food was fantastic and the restaurant was great. I had the blackened chicken fettuccine alfredo , highly recommended.

We came here for a birthday celebration last night (Saturday) and we had such a great time! We were acknowledged upon entering and the manager greeted us and she walked to our table to check in with us. Merbatta was our server and she was so kind, helpful, patient and lovely!! We came all the way from Vancouver and we will be back :)

It was my first time visiting browns social house with my friends .Loved the chill vibes and atmosphere. The music sounded so good and casual . We had ordered loaded nachos , butter chicken and as for the lettuce wraps we substituted the kung pao chicken with kung pao cauliflower and it tasted so good that it blew my taste buds . The portion sizes were so big that one or two dishes are more than enough for 4 people . The service was outstanding and the server was so sweet to accommodate are needs. 10/10 for both food and service.

Upbeat environment, especially Friday and Saturday evenings. Friendly staff, delicious food. I like the fettuccine alfredo with blackened chicken, crispy cauliflower, nachos, Pub and Hollywood burgers. The crispy chicken burger looks amazing! There is a Beyond Burger vegetarian option too. Oh! And the warm brownie?! YUM! Music is decent, patio is wonderful on a warm afternoon or evening. There are heaters outside in case it gets chilly. Some good deals for social hour and the Caesars (drinks) are delicious! Beer is nice and cold. Plenty of parking available. Great place! 5/5

Browns is always amazing in food and customer service but had a bad experience last visit. This location 30th November closing staff around 9pm was really unprofessional. They didn t know how to talk say hi. I will not say they were rude but i also work in a restaurant and the customer service was very bad. Please work on that. Overall you guys are great 8/10

This was my third time here and the food is good, but their service is pathetic, the waitresses don t know how you can be humble to your clients. They are super rude. They were not serving food, they were just throwing it at our face. That doesn t make the experience enjoyable at all, when the staff is super rude. They Really need to learn some etiquette s to deal with people and be nice to them

Got the dynamite roll and southwest chicken bowl and both were very average taste-wise and the rice bowl was very underwhelming

This is the best restaurant currently in Surrey, absolutely impeccable service with amazing staff to accompany the completely flawless food. I got served by a waiter called Matt who made me feel welcome as if I was at home. The waitresses were very friendly and the host picked me out a great table without any delays despite being super busy. I will be coming back with a smile on my face. Thank you Browns Guildford, please, never change!

This Browns has good service and good food but it seems smaller and cramped unless you get a booth.

Stood at front desk behind another group, for over 7min and no one walked over or even looked at the front desk area. We even called the restaurant to get someone to the front desk and no one answered. At least they were busy so they won t miss us leaving.
