We were here for a nice evening went here before always good last night terrible ! Cold plates cold food. When I told them to take it back they did warm it up. Only sorry. Big mistake and it was not busy at all. Very expensive too.

Editing my review after having poor experiences the last 3 times I visited in the past 3 months. Very poor service from the staff, I had to go into the kitchen to find them many times. Wouldnt recommend solely due to the staff. Parking: Parking is very squishy, its much easier to park closer to shoppers drug mart

Asked my server for a side minced garlic to put over my broccoli. Server came back w a msg from the kitchen lead said No he wont do it. Not that he didnt have it, just that he wouldnt do it. Ive been there twice before. Ordered the same dish. There has been no issues. Service 5 Cause of this arrogant kitchen lead 1 . Youre not trying out for Hells kitchen my guy. Liberty Kitchen is the biggest hidden gem in South Surrey/ White Rock! How is this place not packed? Food and service are the best in town and its been so consistent over the years. Attended a few parties on the patio and they were so well done. Best pizza in town.

Got seated by a lovely young host, Kaia was her name I think.food took a bit of time and was getting hungry, host and server kept checking in on us which was lovely. Food was okay but front staff were very nice and lovely.

Big disappointment. I just ordered to go a spaghetti carbonara with rigatoni extra sauce and no peas. And 2 deserts. I got No bacon anywhere, no sauce whatsoever. Dry pasta, for 25$. OK.

Started out on the patio. Great patio, but not enough shade. I.e. you will get beat up between 6 pm and sunset. Wouldve been great to have some umbrellas or have a mesh to soften the sun. We moved indoors for drinks and appies. Service was great. Will visit again.

First and last time coming here was so excited to try this place because all the pictures and rave reviews when I came here the server told me that I could not have anything fried because of my seafood allergies so it eliminated most dishes then she told me I could have the crunchy Thai salad which had seafood in the sauce which she didn t know about and I had to ask her double check after she told me it has seafood. I ended up getting a dish I didn t like the creole chicken looks better in the menu pictures but was actually not good and rice had no salt my friend ordered pizza and it was bland and overpriced will not be returning spent 65$ here when I could have gotten better food from McDonald s server was overly pushy because I had allergies. We both didn t up packing our food because of this she told me I could get the chicken parm and then told me I couldn t after I asked about the fryer again she didn t not know which dishes were safe and I spent 55$ on Uber coming here also police walked in looking for someone then looked me up and down not a good environment server was more worried about covering her behind then our experience

Have ordered food hear quite often. For the most part food is good, but I had some bad meat balls and got food poisoning. Hopefully this is just a one off, I won t be testing those anymore.

We loved the Happy Hour menu, especially the Mushroom pie - once i found out it was a PIZZA PIE! Lol! Mid-afternoon - so quiet, but great ambiance and greeting. The zero-alcohol drinks were a nice surprise as well as sampling a Rose special drink.

I tried liberty kitchen for the first time last night. I went with my fiancé, our baby and 2 friends. The food was immaculate and the service was excellent. I would 100% go back. Very impressed

Had my birthday lunch with 5 friends two days ago and it was the first time for all of us. We were lucky to get two tables we could push together otherwise it wouldnt have been very comfortable. That said the food was amazing. We all enjoyed our meals and one told me that it was the best pasta shed ever had. I guarantee we will all consider return visits. Also had a very nice waitress Emerson.

Not bad, went tonight and the truffle cheese fries were amazing. I had the Alfredo chicken pasta. I was surprised to see quite runny pasta sauce and no garlic bread. Pretty sure this is the first restaurant Ive been at that I ordered pasta and it didnt come with garlic bread. Just a thought.

Nice looking place. Our server was sweet and constantly had a smile on her face. The food wasn t anything notable but not bad. The drinks weren t great and very overpriced. Vegetarian options: Lots of options on the menu have clearly marked veggie options!

Service was fast, food was delicious, and staff very friendly! The restaurant looks very clean and has a great atmosphere.

I have to this place a few times over the past few weeks for business meetings. I was so impressed I took my wife for dinner tonight. Again great food and service. My wife has gluten allergies so we had the gluten friendly crust. The best gluten friendly pizza around.

A decent place with good service and food but we have quit going since noticing a Kitchen Fee tacked on to the bill. If you can t afford to pay your employees, increase your prices and let the market decide your fate rather than adding fees to the bill, pumping up the total and expecting 18% on top of that in the form of a tip. I, for one, am sick of these questionable tactics to increase profits while milking customers and the increased tip percentage on top of double price increases is just theft.

I ordered the Deluxe Burger and Potato Wedges The Burger was done just right, render, juicy and with the bacon and brioche bun totally tasty The Potato Wedges were perfect. A light crispiness on the outside and fluffy inside topped with raw grated garlic and some awesome spices The best Burger and fries I have had in years The server was on time yet never made you feel hurried, very pleasant and helpful The place is clean and fresh looking Loved it

I wish I could give this place zero stars, absolute outrageous they serve that inedible garbage they call food which is overpriced. Seriously disappointed, if I had 2 more hands I would give this buisness 4 thumbs down!!! I didnt even want to give them 1 star.

Dine in experience is fantastic. Friendly hosts, attentive servers, and the food So superb! When we cant dine in, we order takeout and it s just as good as if you were sitting in the restaurant. Italian margaritas are to die for! Just go. I m now revising my review, not sure what s happening. We dined in last week, and the service was so bad. I almost didn t wanna leave a tip. Our server had no personality and never came back to ask us if we wanted a drink, never asked us how our food was. Not to mention she was more interested in what was going on at the bar, as there was a bunch of employees hanging out sucking on popsicles, after what I m assuming was a staff meeting. I just ordered off Skip and the meal that I paid $25.50 for was the size of my fist, and I waited 90 minutes for it. You just lost regular clients that come in twice a week.

Found this place somewhat accidentally but cant be happier with the food, service, and ambiance. Weve been a few time times. Once as a group and tried a bunch of different foods and the last time take out. The food quality has been excellent and really flavourful. Highly recommend.

So for this restaurant we ordered a carbonara and a pizza, the least favorite part of this restaurant was definitely the meals, there wasn t anything wrong with them but it lacked flavor. The service was adequate and kept making sure we were good over our stay as for the atmosphere we felt a great vibe. I wouldn t come here again just because of the food but if you just want to have a drink this might be your place.

Update, 2024 Menu changes and seems to be lowering in unique ingredients. Entree size Caesar salad is a lot smaller than before and it was that big already but now at $18... Not worth it at all. Pizza Montreal style barely had any pepperoni and seems like they want to sell more dip cuz flavor needs work... Lol... A bit disappointed with the changes. --- Loved the peach soda without alcohol but glass could be bigger. Pizza was great, thin and crispy. Loved the blackened chicken. The fried cauliflower was well made, but the flavor was mediocre so wouldnt order again. Will try their pasta next time!!!

Went in for lunch, was seated quickly, place was nicely appointed, service was prompt and friendly. Food came out quickly and was quite good. Had the Parm Wedges, which were lightly battered and very crispy, and a Margherita Pizza. Both were quite good, and at happy hour prices, a reasonable price. The pizza was thin and crispy, with a good balance of sauce and cheese. The only downside was that there were halved cherry tomatoes on the pie. Thats not inherently bad, but they were huge, and as a result, were inedibly hot compared to the rest of the pizza, which cooled quickly. I had to pull them off so as not to scald my tongue. Other than that, solid pizza. Do recommend changing that up, its simply an eatability issue. Update: been back many times since. Their happy hour pricing is such that there really isnt anything else Western in South Surrey that can match up at that price. Everyone Ive taken has agreed. And the bread pudding is amazing.

Upon receiving the bill, we were surprised to see this additional charge and sought clarification from our server, who was unable to provide a satisfactory explanation. Subsequently, we approached the manager on duty, hoping for clarity on the purpose of this fee. Unfortunately, even the manager was unable to offer a coherent explanation for the Kitchen Service Charge. Our confusion arises from the fact that we believe the cost of preparing and serving meals is generally included in the menu prices. We understand that running a restaurant involves various operational expenses, including wages for kitchen staff. However, it is unclear why patrons are being charged an additional fee specifically labeled as a Kitchen Service Charge. It raises questions about transparency and the rationale behind such a charge. If kitchen staff wages are already factored into the overall pricing structure, we fail to comprehend why customers should be burdened with an extra fee for the services that are intrinsic to running a restaurant. As patrons, we value transparency and fairness in pricing. It is disheartening to encounter an unexplained charge that seems to lack a clear purpose. We kindly request that you provide a detailed explanation for the Kitchen Service Charge and reconsider its necessity. If this charge is indeed justified, we believe that customers deserve to be informed about it openly and transparently.

Expensive. $30+ each for lunch and non alcohol drinks is a bit much. Also didnt like to see a 2% kitchen service charge added to the bill. Food was ok but a bit dry. I did like the atmosphere and service was good, although our server didnt seem to know the universal pen in the air sign to bring the bill and made it a bit awkward.

We had a big party there (Surrey BC /grandview corners) on the enclosed patio. While the service was amazing, the food Delish, my only thing I would change is those awful uncomfortable chairs. They hurt to sit on upperlegs/thigh/hip area, and you plan on sitting at least an hour or 2 to order eat and digest. The only other option there were hard benches that the cold seaps up through and freezes your legs and butt . Please find better options for seats. Especially when we re paying so much . Other than that, FABULOUS! Food was great, and the servers were very fast hard working girls who were super pleasant! A great night out! When I return, I will just sit inside where it looks comfy and warm.

I am writing this while still in the restaurant because I need something to do while waiting to be served. The food here is okay but it is certainly not good. I got the burger it was cold and the wedges had that nice McCain frozen taste. The server was/is friendly but it is extremely slow between visits to the table. The bathroom really needed a good clean because the trash was over flowing and there was pee everywhere. I probably will not come back here.

Food is mediocre. The calamari is great! The rest are average, its good just not outstanding. Great service & atmosphere!

Service is where this five stars is at. Food is excellent here. I had the sausage pizza a couple scotch neats and a couple beers. Bartender named Nolan was just top notch. Very professional, knew his bar selection well and suggested great options. Once again the browns group is impressive and on point. Really enjoying my short time in this town and the top notch food and drink options. Ill be Bach.

I have been going to Liberty Kitchen since it opened. I ordered the Hawaiian pizza, it had far too much BBQ sauce on it. Couldnt taste the flavour of Hawaiian I expressed this to the server, with no resolution or exemption. My friend took the pizza home for her son....Not a problem. When we received the bill, our Liberty cheap and cheerful house wine was on the menu we received @ $6.00. It was good, I had a second glass! The server called the manager over regarding the cost difference as our bill was $8.50. So the Manager (KEELEY) her response....OH well Id have to go through the menus. As if we were trying to rip LK off for $7.50!!! Not Acceptable. KEELEY LACKS management experience, customer service abilities and professionalism. Go to Cactus Club!!!

My bestfriend and me frequent Liberty Kitchen quite often. Liberty Kitchen is a special part of our story. We have our biweekly catch up sessions here. They are going to be coming to an end now as my friend is moving to Toronto. Well always cherish our time at Liberty Kitchen. The nachos are delicious and I love the Tokyo bowl with tofu.

An absolutely wonderful experience. Service was extremely on point. Our server Gareth was a star! If he s not management he absolutely should be. The food was excellent, my wife and I shared the wedge salad with Gorgonzola ranch dressing the Montreal pizza with jalapeño pesto dip. I highly recommend, thanks Gareth!!

Was a quiet Tuesday afternoon with ample seating & responsive staff. My lunch companion & I both admired each others choices & laughed we will need to swap next time. I had the Tokyo bowl & my friend ordered a pierogi pizza. Both were delish! I also took some wings home for my honey & those were really good too. Will definitely be back.

Food was just ok - chicken parmesan came with a pesto type sauce on it that tasted a little bit sour, garlic toast was a bit bland. Overall it was a nice place though, perhaps some of the other menu options would be a better chance, Id give the food another chance.

Anna (currently on Mat. Leave) was so thorough and helpful during the planning process. William, the manager on the day of, was amazing with ensuring everything was setup with his Team: Madison, Jodi, and Emily. I cannot tell you how happy our guests and we were with their service and care to ensure everyone was well fed, hydrated and having a good time. Thank you, Anna, William, Madison, Jodi and Emily - Our day would not have been as special as it was without each of you. Hope to see you all again soon for a Mint Lemonade! Vegetarian options: We didnt have specific vegetarian requests but wanted to ensure vegetarian options were available for our guests. Loved the atmosphere, and our server was so nice and accommodating. The food was delicious. We were a large group of ladies, and we were pretty loud laughing and chatting. Not once did they say anything or made us feel unwelcome. They even laughed with us. Would definitely recommend this place to others.

Food was great but Nolans attitude wasnt. He ruined my family dinner with his passive-aggressiveness and his unprofessionalism to serve. Talking to my family with no manners and service and spoke to us like a street thug. Extremelt disappointing and in awe at our first experience here. We even spent north of $115+ for 3 people.

We were in the area searching for a place to eat. This was a great surprise. As we entered, we were greeted by the host. He seemed to be the manager, he gave us his recommendations and was very friendly. We were there during Happy Hour so we ordered a couple items from the menu. We also were able to split the pasta. Our server was also great. We had a great convo and he was also attentive. Our food was great. The spaghetti was awesome. The pizza was also flavourful. The cauliflower was probably our fave appy. We finished our meal and ordered dessert. The pretzel bread pudding was the perfect ending to the meal. They comped our dessert since they were thankful we came by and it was our first visit. Well definitely be back tk try the other menu items.

Liberty Kitchen is a solid option for us when we find ourselves in South Surrey. We have been a number of times. They pride themselves on their pizzas and Italian style cuisine (although Im unsure if it truly is an Italian restaurant). It gives off like an elevated sports bar vibe. Food is always solid - we normally get a pasta and a pizza. Last time we went, we ordered a Carbonara and Perogy Pizza. Both were very good, however, carbonara was a little too runny for my liking. Perogy Pizza was very unique.i did think it was a little thin. I appreciate the variety of items they have on their menu and will definitely try something new next time Im in. Service was standard. They did a good job but nothing was exceptional. No issues or qualms about service at Liberty. As I say, its a staple in our restaurant rotation and will definitely continue to frequent Liberty Kitchen. Top priority if youre in the area.

Good busy location given that I visited there in the middle of the week. The staff was amazing and friendly!! Food was good and tasty. The only thing I felt missing was a side toast with the pasta. You would have to pay more for the toast but my personal opinion is that it should be included within the cost of the meal. Other than that I had a decent experience.

Excellent customer service ! Ordered 2 desserts to go, when I got home the order was incomplete. Phoned and spoke to manager. She was great and professional. Said she would leave a GC for me to pick up. I went today and discovered it was for $50, double what we spent. Definitely will be back. Also .. the Black Forest jar is amazing :)

We visit this place often. We love their happy hour deals on food and drinks! We are a vegetarian family, so have limited options on the menu. Their star dish in my opinion is the TOKYO TOFU BOWL. Mad with crispy tofu, wok fired vegetables, roasted mushrooms, garlic aioli and a mouthwatering ginger rice, it never dissappoints! In the appetizers, the nachos are good! The quality of the crunch cauliflower has been inconsistent over the last few visits, which has been disappointing. Overall, look forward to more filling and creative vegetarian entrees on the menu. The interiors are well done and has a good vibe in the evenings!

Ordered lasagna ($26) for a piece 2 x 4....had to pay extra for the garlic toast, small slivers of bread ($8). Was so salty , was difficult to eat. The chicken parmesan ($27.50) was so thin that it resembled cardboard. Zero taste to it. Absolutely disgusting paying $90 for 2 lasagnas and 1 chicken parmesan. Will NEVER order from there again. I do NOT recommend this place. High price for minimal food

Expensive to bring kids to eat. They have a kids menu but not a physical menu to view... So I ordered a kids meal assuming the pricing was reasonable & a drink was included (which is what is offered at many nearby restaurants) Everything is priced separate and expensive! (ex: $4 for a kids beverage) I recommend they get a physical kids menu. Or the servers should be clear that nothing is including with a kids meal Patio table tops need to be refinished as they were rough & sticky from the finish peeling off. Also, the patio table centerpiece plants were fried & dead from the sun. Just no effort put into keeping the patio nice. Otherwise our server was great & friendly! And restrooms were clean!

It was my first time visiting the restaurant. Ordered sp wings which were too oily didn t eat at all. Then mains we ordered Tokyo bowl agin NO. Didn t like the flavour and our server was at least nice she changed it to burger which we ordered earlier. Burgers were 7.5/10 70$ for 2 burgers and 2 coca cola is just insane LOL Not returning.

Good ambiance and a great place to dine in except food is below average. I took a rose drink, and that was the only item that turned out to be good in the whole order. We also ordered an impossible burger, and the buns were so cheap, like seriously even McDonald have better burgers. Chicken bites barely had any chicken, It was mostly batter. Great patio as well as interior, though.

Very limited menu. Only have Brioche buns...yuck! Does not guarantee gluten free is gluten free. Extremely over priced. Blood in wing, but apparently normal. Wings were slimy. Will never return. Dietary restrictions: Gluten free is not guaranteed . May contain....

I came here for the burger and it was worth it. The menu doesnthave a ton of variety, but what they do offer beats most of the competition at this price bracket. Service was good, food was worth the price. Music, well, Id leave the beats for after lunch, but it wasnt bad. Kid-friendliness: I would suggest a kids menu. Our server was kind enough to offer some options for our 3 y/o, which was very helpful. Also, please have more than one high chair in the whole place. Fortunately, a booster seat was available, and our server was a quick thinker. If youre open for lunch, you have to expect parents. Covering this small shortcoming would make the experience more fluid.

The food was amazing! Everything was perfectly flavored and pasta cooked perfectly! I had the truffle cream pasta with meatballs in marinara, meat balls were tender and huge portions! Garlic bread was on point with hints of fresh herbs to top it all off. I also had the house breaded mozzarella sticks which were perfect and the decadent black forest jar. I ordered takeout, the place had a nice warm and inviting atmosphere and the hostess was super nice.

Pizza and drink was nice, but service was lacking. They add a 3% autograt, and waitress was pissy about a 15% on top of that! Service was terrible and she expects 20% for just showing up?

I ordered the truffle spaghetti and this was absolutely the worst dish I ve ordered. Especially since it cost $40 with tax and tip. I called the restaurant and asked for extra sauce which the attendant stated would be $2 for a scoop of sauce. When the order arrived it was extremely dry, little amount of pasta and the sauce was non existent. Complete waste of $40.

Amazing Lasagna. The Best I ever had. Not just the Pasta, the menu is to die for!!! Service from Anna is second to none!!! I had the Spaghetti Carbarna tonight. The food is Devine!! Parking: Lots of free parking Wheelchair accessibility: Easy access for wheelchair.

I decided to give this restaurant a try with my partner as it is close and it had very good reviews. Service and atmosphere were fine, on par for what you would expect, however the food didnt live up to what either of us were hoping for. The spicy chicken burgers we ordered were massive but had little in the way of flavour. We also ordered the Italian hot wings and found the flavour combination strange, the wings almost had a pizza flavour. Overall the experience was okay but for the price I would go elsewhere.

The atmosphere seemed disjointed with the Saturday night clientele. I have an eclectic taste in music but last night was awful and it was on a short loop. The menu needs to be totally revamped. The pizza WAS GOOD . But we need more choices. I won t be going back anytime soon. Service was great.

Pricey for what you get. I ate there in December 2023 and paid $22.50 for a burger and fries. I asked to try the Calibrian hot sauce. They gave me a small dish (think ketchup container) and charged me $2.50. After drinks, tax, and tip we are well over $30 for burger and fries. For my money, there are better options in the area In the their defence, the chicken burger was very crispy and nice.

I enjoyed the overall atmosphere of this restaurant but I will not be ordering food here again. I ordered a margarita pizza which was basically a stale flatbread crust with a fast food quality. Hardly any cheese on it. Certainly not worth $22.

What a nice place, a pleasant surprise. The food was great, the service was great, the vibe was great. We re definitely coming back, they have pizza for the kids fancy drinks for the adults. I went to Liberty kitchen specifically for decent gluten free options. I ordered a gluten free pizza and the crust wasn t good at all. The server was great and offered me an alternative. I had a salad, which was ok. Nothing special. I was so sick afterwards. I am not super sensitive, but they glutened me good. Very disappointed.

What a disappointment ! Another glorified fast food cactus club wanna be. Ordered a glass of wine while we waited for a triple mushroom pizza. By triple mushroom, I think they meant basically three mushrooms on the whole pizza. Lack lustre and dried out to say the least. White sauce? Where? My dog liked the crust so that was something. Would have done better with a Frozen pizza from the superstore sad that I have to give one star. 1

Excellent- shrimp and cauliflower appys. We all had different main dishes excellent, everyone of them. Followed by the best bread pudding we have ever had. Service was outstanding.

This place has some really great food and drinks and I have come here a number of times. My last time here was with a larger group and the service was awful. The server was impersonal and quite rude at the end of our dinner. She did not tell us that gratuity was already included and when we had asked for a refund, she was very short and rude. She claimed to have told our table this prior to settling the bill, but no one had heard her. Im all about tipping servers for providing exceptional service but because the experience was awful, I was even more upset with the whole thing. I think this is part of the problem with automatic gratuity for larger groups - servers feel less inclined to provide decent service because they get a tip either way. The manager was kind enough to refund the extra money, but based on this experience, I dont think Ill ever come back. As important as the menu and quality of food is, it is the service that ends up having the most impact because it becomes more about the overall dining experience.

Nice place. Garlic toast came hard as rock. Meatballs for the spaghetti and meatball meal were huge and tasteless. Would have been nice with mushrooms instead. Otherwise nice place.

First time went to Liberty Kitchen , Happy hour food was amazing ! Good selection and food tasted really good. Drinks were perfect on a hot day . Prices are very reasonable. Only complaint I have is the air conditioning was not on high enough, too hot in the restaurant . Service was good , maybe just give a little more time though so can decide what to order. Overall was glad I went and will come back in the future!

My wife and I went to Liberty for dinner after having not visited since last year. My wife had the Thai Chicken salad and after eating 75% of the meal found a piece of chicken that was under cooked. She left the rest of the meal and didnt say anything about it to the server. In the middle of the night she was woken by severe cramps and diarrhea. She isolated the food poisoning to this meal based upon knowing the other food she had during the day was totally safe. Clearly the food safe practices are fairly liberal at Liberty Kitchen as cooking chicken comes with a simple standard. My recommendation would be to go to one of the other restaurants that are located steps away and safe yourself the misfortune of getting sick.

Lively atmosphere, awesome service. We wanted to sit in the patio but no spots were open, they were able to move us out there shortly after we got our drinks which was great! Our server also offered to split our spaghetti dish since we were sharing it. A very nice touch. Pizza and Pasta were delicious! Fresh ingredients with lots of flavour. Good portion as well.

Very disappointed with this place both by food and service. The pizza was dry and plain. Not much flavor. Our waitress was very careless. Not much smile on her face. She even did not remove the fork and knife from the plate before taking the plate off the table. The result was that the fork with red tomato juice flew off the plate and landed on my white blouse. Immediately all the eyes on the patio focused on my blouse. But none of her colleagues was on the patio. That is the most embarrassing dining experience I ve ever had. This happened about two months ago. Really don t understand how they are rated 4.4. The next door Afhan restaurant and the Browns Socialhouse are a lot better.

Nice place for a rest stop in the area. Our waiter was very professional and made me wonder why he isnt in the acting business. He was great. Food was very nice and enjoyable.

Went for lunch and we shared the chicken burger and a pizza. The burger was pretty good, the fries were SO good. Really liked the pizza but would probably prefer a different type. Definitely want to come back and try more.

Hawaii 5.0 is delicious, it s a great balance of sweet and savoury, fresh and not too heavy. Things that would make it better are more even distribution of toppings and if they used organic flour. Good customer service but always have to ask for napkins each time I order pizza for pick up.

Food was okay at best, service was poor, felt like we were on a timer, rushed to order, eat and leave.

Great Gluten free burgers!

Had spicy chicken burger, bacon sprinkled shrimp, and salmon poke bowel. Wow. This was the best meal Ive ever had considering there wasnt a single part of any dish that wasnt absolutely delicious and morish. I felt extremely full and even more so happy for the experience. Love.

First time dining at this restaurant, and we were very pleased! The food was delicious, the atmosphere and service was very nice! We had the roasted tomato soup and pizza! Delicious! We will definitely visit this restaurant again soon, to try more of their menu options.

My wife and I visited Liberty for the first time tonight for a date night away from our kids. We were attended to right away when we arrived and chose to sit in a booth. The server did take about five minutes to greet us at our table so we were ready to order. We decided to share the crispy shrimp appy and the butternut squash and ricotta ravioli. When the appy arrived, I was a bit disappointed with the size of the shrimp. For about $16 youd expect at least good-sized shrimp but they were the small kind. However, it did taste amazing. Next up was the butternut squash ricotta ravioli. They were kind enough to prepare it on two plates to share easily. The portion size was better and the taste was great. However, it doesnt stack up to the butternut squash ravioli at Cactus Club. The one at cactus is a 10/10, I would give this one an 8.5/10. Overall, my wife and I were satisfied and quite happy with our meal. It wasnt outstanding but its good enough for a return visit on the semi-occasion.

Bright clean and pleasing to the eye. Accoustics appear to be very loud. Food quality has lessened. Ceasar salad lettece is now rusty and when pointed out to server vague excuses given. Attitude of staff has also changed in the last 2 years. Will not be back. Parking is a challenge.

Stopped here for dinner without reservations. The wait was around 15 minutes to get a table. The service was good and efficient. There seemed to be a little confusion at first, about who s section we were seated in. But it was resolved fairly quick. The salmon on greens was tasty. The lasagna was flavorful!

Waitress was amazing and attentive. My pizza was bomb and spicy. My mother in law ordered the wrong meal without knowing tomato sauce was in the dish so she had to wait for a remake. My sisters meal came out uncooked but they fixed all issues. I enjoyed it here.

Micro review only: Blackened Caesar Salad! After my workout at the local gym I mosey on over to the Liberty Grandview, sit at the bar, watch the Nucks and have my go to drink-Rye and Ginger. I ve reviewed the Liberty when it opened years ago but theres one thing that keeps me coming back . The Blackened Chicken Caesar. I know every restaurant has got one of these but few have their chefs put their heart into it. First the romaine hearts are fresh and crispy, no brown leaves here. The croutons are not from box but homemade with a nice olive oil garlic flavour and are nicely sized. They add crunchy pieces of Prosciutto, no cheaping out here. Cheese is Gran Padano and the dressing not too tangy or garlic .just right. I usually get a full blackened chicken breast spiced perfectly. I skip the egg but some might enjoy that addition. I always get the kitchen to dice the chicken as one can find in challenging to cut the chicken into right size morsels when it sits on top of the salad. Food arrives hot and quickly. Bar staff are always friendly but are all shorter than expected, lol. The restaurant and bathrooms are wheelchair accessible. Overall this dish competes well with my comparable favourite, Earls Cajun Chicken Caesar. Nicely done Liberty!

Liberty lager was good but appies were a bit too greasy and wish they offered a kids menu. Service was a bit too pushy as well.

Food was sooooo delicious. Been twice now. Each time the food was done perfectly. Ive tried two salads and a crispy chicken burger. Their fries are sooo tasty. Didnt love the mozzarella sticks. Service was okay, slow given they werent very busy and the waitress was forgetful (although nice) maybe new? Will go again.

Great ambience for dine-in, with good food but really disappointed with their declining take out standards. Every now and then I order Tokyo salmon bowl and over the months the price has gone up but the quantity has gone down significantly so much so that it s not even filling anymore. Even the take out box has changed from recycle material to plastic containers. I truly hope they can work on it.
