This place has some great sandwiches. I ordered the Toasted Shrimp Sandwich on multigrain bread, accompanied by The Spots Side Salad. It was very tasty. My husbands sandwich came with fries that came cold, we informed the attendant and she promptly offered new ones. Rating 10 for the service, we will definitely be back! To go, we ordered the Strawberry Rhubarb Pie and it was simply divine! Just ask!

Restaurant service, beautiful furniture and their successful layout. A white crow among all those cafes around the district. At the same time, its not that its more expensive, the taste is normal, but not more.

Sat down for Happy Hour. Once we received our food, waiter never came back around until after everything was finished, and only because we flagged him down. More importantly, paying 8$ for 7 onion rings feels insane. Expected a plate of onion rings, basically received a side portion.

This isnt the first time Ive experienced such behavior; its become a recurring issue. The individual in question, described as a tall, brown man with a mustache, exhibited disrespectful behavior towards not only me but also other customers. Its disheartening to witness such behavior, especially in the food industry where customer service should be paramount. The staff members audacity to ask customers to leave is unacceptable and reflects poorly on the establishment. It begs the question of how someone with such demeanor could be hired in the first place. As a patron, Im deeply disappointed and feel compelled to voice my concerns. Its unfortunate that my take away order experience was overshadowed by this incident. I urge the management to address this issue promptly to maintain the integrity of their establishment. Such behavior should not be tolerated, and measures should be taken to ensure a positive and respectful environment for all customers.

I came in for dinner and received amazing service from a lovely server named Anna tonight, she was very accommodating and attentive and provided amazing service. When she brought out our order it was the wrong burger and we kindly told her and she fixed it right away and the new burger came out really quickly. When we went to pay the bill we used the wrong card instead of a gift card we had and we were told a refund was not possible. Anna went out of her way to buy the gift card off of us and she said it was because of us being nice about the burger. You dont find people like that anywhere!! Keep it up Anna!!

Best milkshakes

Ive gone there several times and they have a creepy bald guy that no matter were I sit he attaches him self to our table like clear across the restaurant. He is politely rude and brings the food cold.

Its white spot, whats not to love? I had the lettuce wraps, which ended up being too spicy for me, but just order ranch, youll be fine, trust me. I was there with coworkers and we can have fun anywhere. Everyones food looked great, service was a tad slow, the server said it was so busy with the handful of tables, but who am I to judge, we still stayed. Also, they dont charge an automatic 18% gratuity for tables over 6 people, so bonus.

Food and atmosphere were fine; standard for White Spot. Service was where they really fell off. I asked if I could order from the kids menu as Im a bariatric patient and cant eat full sized servings. The server didnt seem sure if he could do that (we got the sense he was new to working at this restaurant), so he got his manager. When I asked her if I could do this, explaining that other White Spots allowed me to do this without batting an eye, she came back with, Which ones? with very obvious (and very unnecessary) doubt in her voice. I quickly listed off the no fewer than four or five locations that have no issue with me doing this. She said that shed let me do this, just this once, and then left. I really dont appreciate this kind of service. Im basically explaining that I have a medical condition that prevents me from eating full sized servings and asked for very reasonable and simple accommodations to be made for me. If I were ordering this to go, there would be *zero* conversation about this. If I said I was allergic to hazelnuts and ordered a dessert with hazelnuts put on top of it, the kitchen would remove the hazelnuts without second thought. If I said I was Celiac, the kitchen would make sure there would be no cross contamination in preparing my food without second thought. This really isnt all that different so why do I get all this attitude? Add to that, they quite clearly wanted our table to leave after a point by the way they would very pointedly and repeatedly ask if there was anything else we needed or wanted. There were no parties waiting to be seated at the host station, there were no fewer than a half dozen available four tops in our section alone. So yeah, I definitely wont be making any active steps to return to this White Spot location. Ill continue to go to the other locations, like the North Road location in Burnaby, where they actually value my patronage.

Food is okish. Had waffles with strawberry sauce. Syrup was soo flowy and not tasted fresh. Strawberries were not that fresh at all. Service was good. Coffee was not hot at all. Overall not a pleasant experience.

It was a very nice dining experience for my wife and I although it was a bit noisy at the time. The food was great even at the increased price which has taken place at pretty much all restaurants these days. We will go back soon.

So I made a reservation for 10 people 2 weeks in advance (I believe that s enough notice?). Called in a week in advance to confirm if my reservation was in and to see if we could adjust 2 people if needed. They vehemently agreed and assured all would be arranged for. On the morning when I was to welcome my friends at this location, I realized they gave us 1 booth and 2 other tables (not connected or near each other in any manner). Asked them if we could have a connected seating arrangement, they merely shrugged us off and said they didn t have an extra table to add in between 2 of the tables we were allotted. The manager did see 8 of us fumbling about and left us to actually drag the 2 tables closer to each other to accommodate the party. Also the fact that when I entered, I saw that they had accommodated another party of 10 in another section from ours. I can understand if you re busy at the time, but having made a reservation so well in advance, i feel like the manager could have been honest enough to let me know he wouldn t be able to accommodate us than expect us to adjust at the 11th hour in whatever we got. We would have just gone to a different place with better service in that case! I love White Spot and have had great service at other locations; this one just doesn t cut it, and now I just have a very bad memory of having hosted a brunch at White Spot.

April 19, 2023 Thank God this place is a chain. I liked the food (even though a bit pricey) and the milkshake. I had 2 servers that were so rude to me and my colleague. After 1.5h that we got there, not even 20 min after we ate one came with the bill. (It was around 4:30 pm, so they were not going to close and there were enough spaces for new customers). My friend and I, neither of us had asked for the bill. Second problem was when a red haired server came saying - are you ready to pay? And after we said no, she commented with a grumpy face to her colleague - they don t wanna pay! That was rude and not a treatment that any customers deserve. I hope this doesn t happen with you. I also hope that management talk to these servers.

Joga is the most amazing server and human on the planet. Hes so sweet and welcoming But when we went in last week, and he wasnt there.we had a server give us a bill for 70$.. my mom gave her 80.. and when she took the money and walked away..she put her hands in her pouch and came back andn told us we only gave her 60$... very disappointed in this server/ restaurant, which is annoying because we go to this location all the time for joga! But I think we will start going to guildford... Kid-friendliness: They are miserable when you have small kids

Good service and good food!

The first time that I can say I have ever been disappointed in a meal at White Spot. The new item we tried was the chicken wraps and it was okay. I usually order a chicken Caesar wrap with grilled chicken. The wrap was dry with hardly any dressing and the chicken tasted like it had been sitting in the fridge for a couple of days. The meat was cold. I asked for more dressing but it did not change the old chicken taste.

I was extremely disappointed by our server on May 4th 2023. Our server who is between 50-55 year old short grayish blond hair woman serving us between 12:30 to 2pm giving unnecessary opinion on how I was tired of waiting my guests. Also dropping fork under the table and suggesting to one of my guest to pick it up for her and standing and see my guest did it. I have been coming to this place more than 15 year and will continue be a loyal customer. Hope the management do something about it.

We had high hopes for this place based on the menu and photos, but should have read the reviews first. The prices are high, much higher than the photos of the menu that have been uploaded. The portions seemed reasonable, but the food and shakes were just terrible. If all the locations are the same I don t understand how they have so many and how they are staying open. This store was empty. The staff were polite and helpful, it s just the price and food, which I guess is basically everything. It s really a shame as the menu sounds awesome, it just tastes terrible

Should have expected as it was fairly empty. Food was poor - dry/overdone, and portion was small for price point. I could have gotten more and better quality food for the same price at cactus or BP. Definitely will not make that mistake again. I will say staff was really nice.

I started regularly attending White Spot (Central City location) back during the COVID-19 days and made some pretty genuine, pretty solid connections. The staff there are all incredible human beings (especially Joga, who never fails to have our order en route as were sitting down). One of THE BEST happy hours (2-5). Try the gochujang lettuce wraps. Youre welcome. Parking: Easy parking. Kid-friendliness: Its a family restaurant. Wheelchair accessibility: Super easy accessibility. Especially with the patio.

For starters stood at front for almost 10 mins to be seated. Should of known then it was a lost cause. Got seated. 1 server for whole resturant she is about 80 and moves like my dead grandma nice lady BUT no hustle in that step. Ordered coffee and tea. Coffee arrived after 5 mins. 20 mins later still no tea no waitress no nothing just a bunch of confused customers. Finally see server taking a table of 6 drink orders try to catch her eye and nothing. So we threw a 5$ bill down for the coffee my husband barely touched and walked out tried to catch her to tell her but again didnt even notice us . In total we were there for 35 mins. Wont even bother coming back what a colossal waste of time. This location use to be good what happened?

Staff has high attitude, they spoke in hard tone with me, I felt like I did something wrong when I entered in this white spot near walmart at king george road. One person gave me so bad reaction that I can t explain in words now I will never visit there again in my life.

My friend ordered a Lettuce Wrap and when it came, the Lettuce was salad size pieces!! Lol how do you make a Wrap with a piece of Lettuce thats barely big enough to wrap around a chunk of chicken let alone the carrots n cucumbers!!! Hello????? The servers friendliness kinda made up for the lack of the Wrap!

If you are a delivery driver you have to bring a thermal bag with you otherwise they are gonna give you a headache and won t bring the order to you even if you have a hot heating car it doesn t matter. Seems like they make their own rules.

Today I accidently tried this place. I ordered a salad with coffee. Both were great. Very freindly staff and a great atmosphere. The only thing I didnt like was that the boil egg on my salad was too cold.

Its White Spot, what can you really say. Food is almost always the same, always good and decently priced. Has a kids menu and seniors so it has something for everyone. Service was great this time and wasnt busy. Always a family favorite.
