I very rarely try chaaps because it's hard to find places that get it right, but oh boy, this place hands down serves one of the best I’ve had! The service was quick, and the food was incredibly tasty. While the portion size could definitely be improved for the price you pay, the flavor more than made up for it — absolutely amazing. I enjoyed every bite of my meal and even packed some for the next day! The owner is very kind and patient, which made the experience even better. Plus, the washroom was clean, which is always appreciated. Overall, a great spot with delicious food. Highly recommend!
So I request everyone please don’t order food from this restaurant. When I heard about this restaurant I was very excited but unfortunately it was a very big disappointment. We ordered tandoori momos they were stale and had a bad smell. We ordered other things as well and all the things were disgusting specially, naan tasted like ones we get from Walmart. So overall it was very worst.
We are from West Delhi and we have a strong yearning for Punjabi chaap. Personally, I have been longing for Kathi kabab rumali roti, and I have been unable to find it anywhere in Vancouver. However they also don't have it with the same name, but I discovered that if you order the veg Mutton gravy with rumali roti, you'll experience a very similar taste. I was so impressed that I ended up ordering two more rumali after the first one. Also, don't overlook the Malai chaap here - it's absolutely amazing. I'm grateful for the opportunity to experience a taste of Delhi here. The staff is very polite place was clean. They have toilets if you need to go you need to ask as there is no sign of it. Keep in mind that when you are dining in, they don't serve in proper plates and cutlery. You will get your food in take-out boxes and paper plates. This is how we got that. I don't mind it as the food was delicious. But you must be aware about it in case you are planning to take your friends for a treat. Also, I am not sure if they serve thali and other food differently.
Friendly owner and staff. We ordered amritsari chaap, rumali roti and masala soda. The chaap is too good, the flavor and the spice level is just perfect. Combined it with masala soda makes it a total meal deal.
such a bad experience from here. we ordered moong daal halwa to our location and they served very small size, not even tasty. we waited long time for only two three spoon halwa. so i recommend Don't place order from here.
Chaap and Chaat restaurant in Payal Center, Surrey, BC. Very friendly owners/staff - eager to please. Restaurant, however, was very warm - no AC. Ordered Pani Puri w/ 3 types of Pani (Garlic, Original/Spicy, and Hing/Asafoetida), Dahi Papdi Chaat, Tandoori Momos, Achaari Paneer Tikka, Jeera Rice, and Mango Lassi. Food arrived promptly and tasted just ok, not spectacular. Not sure why other reviews are so high - Panis were so-so, could have been more spicy/flavorful. Dahi Papdi Chaat was too sweet, Momos were soggy and fell apart as they had been smothered in sauce, Achaari Paneer Tikka was fine, Jeera Rice had an unusual (perhaps Cardamom) flavor. Meal set us back CAD 65, incl. tip.

I ordered food from here yesterday and that was the bad experience I ever have in my life. I ordered naan ,which was raw and non eatable. Also ordered chocolate shake that was worst. Never order food from here. Everything seems like old stuff. I got stomachache after eating their food.

Punjabi Chap corner is full of taste whenever I visit there I try new things and every item has unique taste malai chap amritsari allu tikki spring rolls are my favorite I really would like to recommend everyone to visit once and second time you will visit again without any second thought. Service by staff is really awesome I never feel guilty to spend my money in that restaurant.

I usually don t leave feedback, but this was one of my worst food experiences in Canada. I d been waiting for 3-4 weeks to try some chaap because I was really craving authentic Delhi-style chaap and paneer tikka. Unfortunately, the experience was disappointing. As a food enthusiast with a good sense of taste, I found it didn t even come close to Delhi or Punjabi cuisine. I ordered the malai paneer tikka, expecting large, well-roasted paneer pieces with a creamy coating and veggies on a skewer. Instead, what I got was small, raw paneer pieces in a thin, mayonnaise-like gravy. I really hope you can improve the paneer tikka and perhaps take a look at some authentic pictures for reference. I also ordered the rogan josh chaap, which is supposed to have a thick gravy with chaap pieces. While the taste was better than the paneer tikka, it still came with a thin, tomato-based gravy. As for the rumali roti, it felt like just a regular maida paratha, and the butter naan was a store-bought frozen kulcha. Nothing personal, but it fell way below expectations. I don t plan on returning, but if I ever do, I hope the food quality improves.

The food tastes amazing and authentic. We had the Kurkure momos, Amritsari Chaap roll and Afghani Stuffed chaap which tastes exactly like the streets of Delhi. Would highly recommend!!

Although I usually dont write reviews, I felt compelled to do so for this experience. My family and I decided to try this restaurant based on positive feedback, but we were extremely disappointed. The dining experience was subpar - no menus, paper plates, and no water served. The food arrived in plastic takeout containers and aluminum foil. We ordered Paneer butter masala, expecting a rich and buttery gravy, but what we received resembled Kadhi paneer with green bell peppers. The naans were half-baked and soggy, clearly reheated in the microwave. The Chole bhature was equally disappointing - I couldnt even find the chole, only soya chaap. When I questioned the owner, he claimed it was aloo. The bhatures appeared to be half-deep fried earlier and reheated before serving. Save your money and enjoy your meal elsewhere.

Got food today from Punjabi Chaap corner, got 3 different types of Chaap, but all tasted the same, quantity was disappointing low as compared to standards. The spices were not distributed evenly in the food and it felt spices were cooked separately from the actual dish. Had ordered for a family function and was recommended by Chaap enthusiasts. Those fans were disappointed the most. Only thing good was plain rice.

I tried the Amritsari Chaap and Malai Chaap and paneer tikka here, and everything were fantastic! The owner takes great care in ensuring quality, and the service was excellent. The Amritsari Chaap had the perfect spice, while the Malai Chaap was creamy and rich. The textures were spot on, and the portions generous. A must-visit for chaap lovers! Thankyou

I ordered from skip Chaap Biryani. It s supposed to be a biryani but it s Fried rice. Chaap pieces were very less only 3 or 4 and chaap was hard to chew. It s not worth it paying
