Best Africa food, im visiting surrey from Toronto and try the food was so good like homemade food. The need 6 stars. I when it there two time. I recommend this restaurant in surrey.
Got there when it just opened. It was a very home oriented shop, extremely casual. Food was amazing! I am already craving it again.
Family style, casual setup, service is average, lots of authentic African food. Great place for spicy lover, I can’t handle it and don’t get recommendations for alternative
Insanely good. We got the jollof with beef stew and jollof with honey jerk chicken and sat inside. It’s definitely more of a takeout place environment-wise but the food is absolutely delicious. It could use a bit better of a meat to rice ratio but I definitely recommend trying this place if you’re in Surrey and looking for something new to try!
The pounded yam and eba were good. The okra soup was nice and spicy. We did not like the other soup at all, maybe palmnut? It had no meat just bones and very greasy. The plantains and meat pie were delicious and fresh. If I were to go back I’d probably go for the rice and honey jerk chicken.
2nd review: Went there a 2nd time to get my jollof rice fix. They were pretty busy bc it was dinnertime on a Friday night before long weekend. It's a good idea to call in your order ahead of time if, esp if you want to order their egusi and fufu. I had the jerk honey chicken with jollof rice, wanted to add plantains again but they sold out. I like the chicken more than the beef bc it has a different flavour to contrast the jollof rice. Next time I'm going to get their signature dish - egusi and fufu. 1st review: Finally got to try this place!!! And it did not disappoint, it is the best African restaurant I've ever tried. I ordered the beef stew with jollof rice and added the plantains. I loved how they had different flavors to balance the heat of the beef stew and jollof rice. The plantains were sweet and nutty and the creamy coleslaw really helped with the heat. I will come back next time to try their other dishes.
My first time trying out West African food and boyyyyy was I blown away. My tastebuds took me on a trip from the parking lot of Surrey to a table in Nigeria. The chicken was super tender and flavourful—a smokey jerk with a touch of sweetness. The best and only Jollof rice I’ve ever had had a slather of this thick gravy-like hot sauce which was 🤤👌🏼. Perfect amount of heat. No worries if it’s too spicy though, cool it down with some of the coleslaw. Can’t quite put my finger on where I have had this coleslaw before but I definitely ain’t complaining. Already planning my next trip to try out the baked tilapia that was staring me down as I was waiting for my order to be put together. Along with some of their other menu items, I will definitely be back again and again and again!
4 years ago: Love it! Update: Ordered from here after 4 years of not having it, kind of disappointed because on Uber eats it shows an image where you can get jerk chicken with coleslaw and rice w/ chicken, but there was no coleslaw. Their website also doesn’t work so there was no way to confirm this so maybe that’s my bad, but for $24 compared to old price $14-$17. I was shocked because there was a lot of rice, two semi-small pieces of chicken but no veggie at all. And I remember the coleslaw used to come with the meal. I’d still come back and eat here, but still disappointing after working all day, opening up the food 3 hours later to finally eat, just to see no veggie
lovely fried plantain
Everything was delicious, the honey jerk chicken was my favourite
New Owner - COMFORT IS AMAZING! My daughter Ashanti and I have been coming to Taste of Africa for years! Becky and her husband Isaac are the owners and their food is absolutely amazing. Consistent taste every time we come! Egusi and pounded yam are our favourites! Be sure to try their RED-RED, OKRA SOUP, JOLLOF RICE and MEAT PIES! Bring back NKATE NKWAN Becky!!!
The food was just a wastage of money. I ordered three items and I received only two. And among those two, this is what is received. Horrible experience.
More of a take out place but the food was awesome and the people working were very kind! Will return for more fufu and egusi
Great food, generous portions. I would definitely recommend this place.
A bit pricey, probably because it s been hyped up on social media. But the workers are very kind and the food is good
The jollof rice is better than my mom s biriyani!
I was trying a few African restaurants around the area and this was last on the list. Im very confused with the soup I got. I ordered Egusi and instead I got some red soup with bones. The staff seemed annoyed when I showed up for some reason even tho the restaurant was quiet at lunch time.
Was worth driving from downtown Vancouver to this location to get good Ghanaian food!
Not gonna lie. Ever since the owner left the restaurant food has not been the same. The okra and egusi they make super spicy and over do it with the palm oil which is not healthy. Egusi and okra stew are not supposed to look the same colour. Because they ad sooo much palm oil it looks and tast the same and not appetizing at all. The plantain is greasy and too ripe and squishy. The atmosphere over all is like a 5/10. I wish you guys can look at the reviews and do better. God bless
Egusi soup was incredibly salty. Fufu was great. If it was less salty I would have loved it, but its not edible for me
Great and tasty foods, many great options available! Very friendly owner and employees :) Ill suggest having a high chair around for customers with a baby. Great takeaway options otherwise
The jollof rice and plantain are so delicious!
Good place to buy African food
Great food, great service. Parking: Parking available at the back. Food : 5/5 |
Just ordered pounded yam and egusi soup and let me not lie the texture of the yam was okay but the soup had tooooooo much seasoning, im scared for my liver and kidney now dunno if it was a one time error or not but it was just too much and it didn t allow me enjoy the food to satisfy my cravings.
As a a trucker, I ran out of food and had to Google a Naija restaurant. Got some few options but decided to go with Taste of Africa cos of the beautiful reviews I read. And voila! People of God, I wasnt disappointed one bit! Infact, I think I got more than I ordered and the aroma of the meals in my truck almost wanna make me break my fast . Her mannerism and attitude nko?
This was my first experience with this type of cuisine. I ordered the honey jerk chicken with Jollof rice, fried plantains, fufu & egusi stew. I will be dreaming of the jerk chicken, fufu & plantains forever! The egusi stew & jollof are tasty/good, but both have unique flavours I am not used to. When I called in my order for pickup the woman on the phone was the sweetest angel, kind and nice. I will be back to try other dishes! Thank you
Amazing food, friendly environment and always a warm smile and warm food.
Goat pepper soup
Excellent food. Good service. Coming from the States to visit, I made the 36 min drive to Surrey from Vancouver looking for good west African and this place didnt disappoint
Yes to much
I ordered take out and got the jollof and honey jerk chicken, rice and peas and honey jerk chicken and plantains. All the food was delicious! My son and I loved it! So many flavors! If you have not tried this place yet then your missing out! I will definitely eat here again! Thank you!
Love the food.
The food is amazing! Whether you want to try the fufu or honey jerk chicken it s all good! Highly recommended the peanut soup and fufu
Fish not done spices poorly maid cake very poorly made you guys should top up
So happy to have finally gotten out to Surrey for this. We got fufu, goat and peanut soup, jolof rice with baked tilapia. Loved everything and would definitely go back to try other things. I ve got a huge appetite and these dishes lasted me and extra two meals after, so for $25 that s a bargain! The atmosphere isn t fancy, and the place is super chill local restaurant.
Pounded yam - Okra soup with beef. So good! Always craving for it! Ordered once a week for the past two months and never disappoint!
Very rude customer service. The lady there just literally told me to get out . I was shocked. Did expect this kind of service in Canada
Meat pies are a must try!!!
I ordered delivery and I gotta say, the fufu and stew were amazing and I m so glad this authentic restaurant exists! I haven t met the owners or staff but through their food indirectly I m grateful for them and look forward to meeting them.
This place is absolutely so delishish! We traveled from the states to canada just to try this place. As soon as we walked in they were so wholesome and welcoming. We ordered the egusi soup with fufu, honey-jerk chicken with jollof rice and plantins. SO GOOD! Such comforting food. We loved it. 15/10. Definitely going to travel back just for this food.
Amazing food, kind staff, good vibes! Would HIGHLY recommend
Great relaxed and comfy atmosphere here! All food was so good. Meat pie and plantains were amazing , also LOVED the jerk chicken and Jollof rice with fufu. Lady who served us was very kind ,10/10 would recommend :)
Ordered on Uber the egussi stew with Fufu. Phenomenal great tasting food. Just wow
Good food and good service.
Amazing
Food was tasty but spicy. That is how you know it is authentic with the spice. The lady who was serving the food was friendly as well. The restaurant is small but the portions are large. When Im back in Vancouver I plan to come here again!
As a few of the reviews have said, I saw Fufu on tiktok as well and I wanted to try it out! Needless to say, it was DELICIOUS!! If youre someone who can handle spice, the dish itself really compliments each other. And its the only African restaurant at the moment that offers fufu! Thank you to the staff who was working there on Friday, as we came by 30 mins to close. They were kind and welcoming to different ethnicities. :)
We ordered takeout 3-4 times from this restaurant and the dishes were amazing every time!! The owners are incredibly kind and generous. They definitely put a lot of love into their food.
Delicious but everything is SUPER spicy. My lips chafed for an entire week lol
The negative reviews are absurd in my opinion. This was my first time having any kind of African food and it was AMAZING. Jerk honey chicken with jolloff rice was so good, if you can t handle spice simply don t eat here. The fufu was good, egusi soup isn t for me but if you like goat meat then I m sure its great.
The owner of this restaurant is a very nasty old woman. She has no manners and zero decorum. I called on Thursday, March 9 and told her I wanted to order jollof rice and she was super aggressive and rude on the phone. If you lack customer service skills, why don t you do your business a favour and let the young lady that works for you take over the customer service department because she is more professional and understands how to deal with public. I know you are an angry, nasty, aged out and miserable old woman but please try and work on your customer service skills and stop being toxic to customers. Vegetarian options: They have 2 menu options for vegetarians.
The food was a new experience for me. I really loved all the flavours and the plantains were superb. The honey jerk chicken was really good too. I would definitely go back here
Jollof rice is awesome!! So good, incredible service!! Anything you get will be so tasty
Great service, nice establishment and very good food. Would recommend to everyone!
Im sympathetic to inflation but this is 2 chicken thighs, rice and slaw for $20 from a little hole in the wall. And it was heated up in the microwave. Jollof rice and jerk chicken. It was decent, a little dry. Just nothing special for the price.
Ive been here twice now, getting the egushi with fufu and peanut soup with eba. Both had a ton of flavor and were delicious. I love how the soups are served piping hot with a good amount of spicy heat. Ive never had west African food prior, and it was like a flavor explosion in my mouth. Im looking forward to trying the rest of the menu!
Nice african restaurant in Surrey. The owner is very friendly and nice. She was calm and attended to use nicely. She said we would love the jollof and she was right. The jollof with Full Tilapia fish was fantastic. The jerk chicken was great too. The restaurant atmosphere was okay and good for dinning and for meet ups with friends. Their food is really great and tasty. Not many food options remained around closing time of 8.30pm. The restaurant is easy to locate as it is right on the road side. Parking: There is plenty of free parking on the side of the plaza.
So I went to this place because I saw it on my insta feed and oh boy does it taste amazing the staff are incredible and the food is like no other
Been to better African stores. Also, food tasted stale and overcooked. Environment was also poor.
definitely coming back, got the well-known jollof rice with chicken and it didnt miss
I had Emotuo and groundnut soup... Its not the same as my mom makes it but I was okay.
Amazing food and the owners are so incredibly nice and welcoming. I would order something every day if I could:)
I am a straight up white kid that knows nothing about African food, and this was absolutely amazing. The honey jerk chicken was gas. Need more chicken. Very nice people
i live in vancouver but i always go out of my way to surrey just for their jollof, the best jollof and jerk chicken in vancouver!!! very flavourful and delicious service is good, staff are very friendly! highly recommend
Was excited to hear about this place and get some Ghanian food. Checked Google to make sure it was open and see what the hours were. It said it was open, so we drove all the way from North Van. Got there and its closed with a note on the door. Closed until middle of July. Super disappointing on many levels.
This has been my go to since I first tired her amazing honey jerk chicken in 2012 at fusion festival.
Beef was over cooked
Found hair in my food and they said it was normal to find hair, stones etc in your food.
Food was great. All the workers were so nice and the food came super fast. Will definitely be coming back
Been a long time since I had soup this good
The food is sooo good!! I could eat just the food from here forever and be very happy
Food is good. Customer service and takeout/dine-in miss the mark
The best & greatest restaurant experience ever. Literally treated like royalty. The service was worthy of s. Nothing but excellence. Highly recommended.
I tried the jellof rice and chicken. I honestly didn t like it. Friendly service tho
The goat/beef was not cooked properly, very very tough we could not eat our food.
Love the flavors! What we had was very fresh and tasty, rice n beans, plantains and the okra soup with goat and pounded yam. Comfort food
I was craving West African food for the longest time and boyy did this place not disappoint. The fish with the jollof rice was amazing, perfectly spicy/fall off the bone fish The Fufu with lamb and beef stew had plenty of meat. I really wish this place would open another location because unfortunately its hard to make it all the way out to Surrey during the weekdays after work before they close for the night!! 100/100
Disgusting place I cant believe restaurants like this exist in Canada. The fried chicken I had the meat was a little slimy it had a taste but I was hungry and hadnt ate all day so I ate it. Now I am on my toilet and I feel like going to the hospital. I will never recommend this place to anybody. The lady at the front was so rude I will never recommend this place to anybody ever.
If I could leave 0 stars I would. Usually love African food but this is just not good. And let s not even mention worker treatment.
Good to find a place that provides ethnic and cultural services and food. We need more of those businesses in our communities. Thank you for providing cultural and ethnic hospitality to the community.
Nice place your African delicious meal
I spent $60 and everything about the food was just wrong. They use to be good but now they re not honest about their buisness. Their plaintain was hard and stale. The jollof rice and tilipia did not taste fresh.. I felt disgusted eating fish that tasted old
I see why people drive from all over to come here. The jerk chicken was very very tasty. The skin was absolutely divine. We dined in and I ordered a second one to go because it was that good. Rivalled the jerk chicken I had in Jamaica, the sauce they use on it is absolutely delicious, my mouth is watering now just thinking about it. The jollof rice, it is the BEST jollof rice I have ever had in my entire life. Im Indian so my standards for flavour are pretty high and I was hopeful but prepared to have it be lacking in flavour like other jollofs Ive had but it was so so so good. I had never had fufu before and was a little worried if Id like it as it is supposedly bland and I absolutely loved it. I cant believe Ive been alive for this long without knowing the wonderful thing that is fufu. It was perfect with the egusi, it melted in your mouth. Going into it, I was a bit confused about not chewing, but it was so silky and tasty and my natural instinct was to swallow. It was such a lovely experience. The water bowl to keep your fingers from sticking to the fufu was a nice touch. Im so glad I have leftovers. The egusi rivalled my favourite Indian curries in flavour which is a sign of a fantastic cook. The spice definitely builds the more you eat it especially in the jollof rice so if you are spice sensitive, I would maybe have some sour cream or yogurt or cold milky sugary drink on the side to help. They do serve coleslaw with the jollof rice which helps. OH and the plantains! Best plantains Ive ever had. I was expecting them to be crispy and they werent and normally that would make it less appetizing for me but in this case, it was very good as is. You could see and taste this lovely caramelization. It was mildly sweet but not too sweet. It helped to cool off the spice. I didnt think I liked plantains but now I know I just havent had it done well before. Service is more like 3.5 stars, staff was friendly but they could do with more staff with how busy they are as that can slow things down (waiting to order or pay). I do know that times are hard right now for small businesses Im sure the few staffers is the balance for keeping food prices where they are. Plus we came at prime lunch time. For wait for food, jollof rice, jerk chicken, and plaintains were ready right away, the fufu and egusi I had to wait a bit for maybe 15 minutes or so and it came out piping hot and so so so good. Atmosphere I would say 4.5 stars, as soon as you walk in you get this delicious smell flooding your senses, that was nice. The place felt very welcoming to me. They were busy but you could tell they appreciated that you were there. Its the type of business and the type of people you feel good about supporting and spending your money on. All in all, I would HIGHLY recommend giving this place a try. Id recommend trying both #1s on the fufu and mains menu and if you like plantains or never tried it before, Id highly recommend trying that out here. I wish Id taken pictures of the food but it was just so inviting that we couldnt resist and dove right it. Parking: Its behind the restaurant. From the street, turn right immediately adjacent to the restaurant, you go down this wide alley and its on your right
You need to eat here, the most flavorful delicious food Ive ever had, and very kind service. The Okra Goat + Beef Stew with Pounded Yam was incredible, so flavorful and delicious. I have a new favorite restaurant
One of the best tasting restaurant Ive been to. Jollof rice was superb and the egushi was chefs kiss. Definitely try it if you are on the fence, you wont regret it
The food was incredible! It was so delectable! The staff there were friendly, kind and very funny. And as well as professional too. They showed me how to eat the fufu. And it was an amazing experience. The Jollof rice with Jerk Honey Chicken was just that good! I will definitely come back again! You want to try some awesome African food - this is the place!
Delighted by the incredible flavors at Taste of Africa! The food was a genuine taste of Africa, showcasing the evident pride and care put into each dish. Its clear they love sharing the cultural ,and culinary richness. A solid 5/5 experience! Will keep on coming back for more.
I ordered the jollof rice with beef stew and fried plantains. Food was delicious. I will definitely go back to try out the other items on the menu. You are missing out if you have not tried this place yet.
Truly fantastic food. Absolutely delicious. Ill be going back for sure.
Yummy food
Jollof Rice Beef stew Honey Jerk chicken Fufu & Okra stew Plantains. All amazing. The staff is so lovely too.
The Jellof rice and fish is amazing! God bless everyone one of us
Jollof rice and honey chicken is delicious Owners of this restaurant are very friendly, the gentleman recommended their fried plantains. This is the first time we tried plantains and they are absolutely amazing. Will definitely come back again.
Delicious food
Wow the food was amazing!!! The most tender chicken I have ever had, and the rice is the best rice I have ever had! We will be back :)
Lovely lady at the front my first time having west africian food. And the meat pie was hand down one of the best things i have ever eaten. I live those mire than a sausage roll
THE BEST!!!! My favourite restaurant of all time. Love the owners and love the food. Every single experience and interaction I have had, whether dining in or take away, has always been beautiful and unforgettable.
Best food in BC hand down, honey jerk chicken, fufu, plantains, rice and peas, peanut soups, the works, definitely recommended
The food is great but the owner is a little to ready
Food was great. They are currently doing take out only. Waited around 30 minutes for egusi + fufu. First time having it and it was amazing.
Best food ever!!! Amazing Jollof rice and Chicken!! Kind owners
Sooo good and u get a good portion when you buy the fufu and egusi soup like ill be eating this for a week
Appearances can be deceiving. This charmingly delicious restaurant does not look like much from the outside or the inside for that matter. But if you can brave a seedy part of town (park your car across the street at the grocery store) you will be treated to the best West African food you will ever eat in this province. I give my daughter Ava full credit for finding this place after being inspired watching fufu videos on Tik Tok. The fried plantains are nicely caramelized with a sweet but substantive flavour. They did not hold back the spice on the baked tilapia and I appreciated their daring old school cooking. The jerk-honey chicken adds a nice flavour profile to the traditional Jamaican style. And of course, the fufu with egushi, spinach and goat was a big hit. I recommend you attend in person your first time rather than doing a delivery service. While the restaurant is only take out, the staff are warm, friendly and give helpful advice. And, you might find something else to buy like their seafood hot sauce. Taste of Africa delivers on its name and may be the best alternative to going to Africa.
The flavours and food is absolutely delicious! First time here and will definitely be back. Intended to try the fufu, but it requires 30 mins prep, so I got the rice, beans and chicken - and it was so good! I will be calling ahead next time so I can try more. The friendliness and generosity of the people inside makes one feel instantly welcome. I ended up here given some recommendations and being told its the most authentic African cuisine, and the customers inside confirmed it all. Yum!
Came here to try African food for the first time. I got the pounded yam and peanut soup and it was quite good. The meat was very delicious and tender and the soup definitely had fair bit of spice to it. It was expensive with a capital E but the portion sizes are large, I couldnt finish it all in one go as hard as I tried.
Food was so delicious. It is noticeable that they cook their food with lots of love. 10/10 recommend.
Love this place Im no African but they sure know how to make some good food
The best West African restaurant in the lower mainland. They also sell some African food staples where you can pick up what you need at home as well.
The jollof rice with honey chicken was amazing. Chicken was tasty and tender, almost fell right off the bone. I also got the jollof rice with beef and did not enjoy that has much. Personally didn t enjoy the beef consistency so I ll be coming back for the chicken next time! Spicy sauce is the way to go, might want to ask for it on the side if you can t handle spice
The food was absolutely incredible. And both the staff and patrons were extremely kind. Highly recommend
really yummy fufu and egusi, enjoyed it. portions are very filling for one person.
Fufu is so delicious! And the staffs are nice and kind too
I m so happy I went to try this place! As soon as we came in the staff came to see us, they were so friendly and helpful. We ordered Fried Plantains, Jerk-Honey Chicken Jollof Rice, Fufu, and Egushi. My favorites were the Jerk-Honey Chicken Jollof Rice and Fufu. The soups all seem delicious, so next time I ll try another one! The Egushi with Goat might come off a bit strong with the goat flavor if you are not used to it, but if you are it s absolutely delicious!
We got take out and we loved it. The jollof rice and chicken, as well as the fried plantain, were delicious!!! The owners were so sweet and welcoming. If you want to try some African dishes, this is a must-try. Fantastic flavours. 10/10
It was my first time doing takeout from Taste of Africa. I ordered the jolloff rice and chicken, as well as egushi soup. The woman said that the soup would take 30 mins, Im not sure if thats because I came at a weird time of day or not but maybe call ahead with your order if you are in a hurry. The food was absolutely worth the wait.
Old place but good
Great staff and food
I order tilapia and jolof. They gave me only 2 jolof. When i called they say they cannot help me out
The jollof rice was delicious, the chiken was tender, the fufu was so good and the texture was perfect!! The egusi soup was sooo good!! And the plantains were so sweet and tender. The service was great. They lady was very nice and polite. Highly recommend.
good all round . enjoyed the food
Best jollof in Surrey, I come here at least once a week if not more and the prices all have tax included which is a small but nice convenience
best african food in town
Amazing food. You c ok uld so eaail pass by it and not even notice but the food tastes great and theyre not afraid to add some heat to it! Definitely recommend!
We tried African cuisine for the first time because my son saw the fufu on tiktok. We tried the peanut soup with beef and fufu ($18) and the Jollof rice and honey jerk chicken. It was really tasty and spicy but we love them. We really like the jollof rice and jerk chicken we will order again when we pass by Surrey again. Ps. The owners are both really friendly and nice.
Awesome. Chicken was superb. I got the honey jerk chicken with jollof rice. Chicken came baked with the skin on and was really fantastic. The lady who took my order asked me if I like spicy food which was really sweet of her and I liked cause she made the rice super spicy and flavorful which I was a big fan of. Would definitely go again
Tried the okra stew with fufu, and it was amazing. The owners are very sweet and had a lovely time talking to them too!
The only restaurant I could find in the Greater Vancouver area that has fufu. Somewhat overpriced fir meals but the couple who run the place are pleasant and affable. Watch out for bones in the chicken meat.
UNREAL! Ah so good. We drive out an hour for this every week, delicious !
Nice and tasty Ghanaian dishes
Went there today and had their honey jerk chicken. It was delicious and spicy. Super cute little restaurant. As soon as I walked through the door it smelt so good in there I knew the food was gonna be good, and it was. Definitely will be back to try their stews next time. Owners were also super nice and wonderful
The beans stew is my favourite. The honey jerk chicken and spicy tilapia are delicious too. All round if youre looking for some yum food with a nice kick, this place is great! And Auntie is just amazing!
Beautiful food in a beautiful city!
Love her fish and meat pie
Great food! Extremely nice couple
Excellent food!
Perfect egusi and fufu. Lots of meat pieces. Generous portions unless youre really hungry but I could only eat a quarter of the fufu and half of the egusi. So the price is reasonable despite the increase. Her seasoning is on point.
Really tasty food Definetly recommended. Also really good price.
100% amazing authentic Ghanian food. Go and get fed properly!
I am not from West Africa but this food is so good they can chop my money every week and it will beat the obroni out of you. Medaase! I went to listen to azonto immediately.
A small mom and pop location with very delicious food, honestly everything I tried was tasty. If I lived closer, Id definitely visit more often.
Great value and good food. No complaints
If this what Africa tastes like I m marrying Nigerian
Friendly service, food spiced out of this world, great portions, what more can you ask for? If you feel like a getaway even for half an hour, try the food here. Your tastebuds will transport you to a whole new country.
Good good, good service, tidy place.
Woooh i tell you if you an African and you love food YOU NEED TO SEE THIS PLACE order wise just see this place
Best of the best
Food is GREAT.
Taste of Africa really gives Canadians an authentic and pleasant west African cuisine experience. I just picked up 6 dishes : 2 Honey Jerk-Chicken plates, 2 Waakye (rice and beans) and 2 Red-red (Vegetarian Ghanaian stew with fried plantains) for my colleagues and I, nothing was left unfinished. Fantastic diversity of options and the spice level worked out for everyone. Will definitely try again in the near future.
Delicious food
First time going there and the owners were sooo nice and helped with what to order. I ordered the jollof rice and jerk chicken and honestly, it was sooo good. I ll be going back for sure
Best jollof rice in town! I frequently do take out from this spot! Absolutely delicious. Can t find a better Ghanaian restaurant in the lower mainland. I m always eager to show my friends this place, because the quality of food is always on point. The owner is super friendly and provides great service. Love love love this place!
Awesome food
Excellent food and service
Amazing food, always reminds me of proper African soul food
Been here 3 times and its been excellent each time, my mouth is watering thinking about the jollof rice. I would give an arm for a place like this near me in Yaletown!
Good but too greasey....
Yummy ethnic food
BOMB!!
Good jollof rice
Yummy and well prepared African meals
Taste like garbage
Best jolof rice and jerk chicken I have ever had. The owners are super friendly too! A local favorite
My first time here. I ordered the palm nut soup and okra soup with fufu. So delicious . If you love spicy and (flavor). Cant wait to go back.
