Older room but the place is very well maintained and clean. I could tell from the highway. The lady in the office is very kind. I would stop by again.

This is a well priced budget Motel, $79 Tx/in, friendly manager, The room was comfortable, clean and had complimentary amenities, coffee, fridge, good Wifi, TV. The motel is close to the Trans Canada Highway, so noise is an issue. (Ear plugs :) ).||We arrived @ 11 am, and the rooms were not ready yet, how ever the staff made sure our room was made ready quickly. Very happy with the service. We would recommend this Motel to any Touring cyclist that needed a place to stay for a night or two.

This motel was very clean with a large room, and was located close to the Trans Canada Highway and many good restaurants. There were absolutely NO extras . The plumbing was very old but, it did work. The bed was clean and comfortable. All in all, it turned out to be good value.

I'd rate this motel 1.5 stars if available, as I didn't so much hate it as find that it wasn't at all what it pretends to be. Of the three motels I stayed in on my trip home from Kamloops, this motel was: - the most expensive - the shabbiest by far - very under-supplied as regards customer convenience The only two upsides were the pleasant, if ineffectual, young man at the front desk, and the fact that the room was clean. Following is a listing of disappointments: the seniors' rate of $69 compares with $49 in Kamloops, $59 at my second stop - and the first two rates were not seniors rates. (I only asked for the seniors' rate as it was top-billed on their signage.) The floor covering in the room was old, stretched and rumpled indoor/outdoor carpeting. The tables were early MacTac. The advertised "free coffee" was an in-room Rubbermaid container of old coffee, with a jar each of Coffee Mate and sugar. There was no microwave (the other two had). The single lounging chair had lost any support, prompting my 170 lb. body to become buried in it. The towels were well past their "convert to polishing cloths" date. The thermostat had a notice next to it indicating that it controlled the temperature of four rooms and, so, should be adjusted more than two degrees from 69 F. The topper, though, was the lack of shampoo- let alone conditioner. I went to the office to ask if placing a packet in my room had been overlooked. The young man answered that they didn't supply shampoo, went to check if some might be found, and returned empty-handed. All this, with access to the Trans-Canada Hwy only 100 feet from the door!!

We needed a place for one night, and originally drove by this one, but we are happy we circled around and gave it a try. The building looks a little worn but care has been taken to keep it up as best as possible (my Dad believes hanging flower baskets are the key to picking a good place).||The owner was lovely and the room was comfortable, clean and had complimentary amenities (coffee/tea, fridge, WiFi). The price was also very reasonable.||We then met my brother here who had undertaken an ill prepared biking trip across Canada and needed to get home. The owner set him up quickly with a room for a couple nights while he waited for transportation home.||We were very happy with the service, the cleanliness of the rooms and the value for our money. We would definitely recommend to anyone needing a place to stay.

The owner is a middle aged lady who does her best to keep the place tip-top in all ways. It is an older motel with a cinderblock back wall, but every detail of the place was well maintained. Furniture was old in it's style, but the mattress was excellent - and I am fussy about that. The price was right, too - couldn't beat the price! I must say I was very happy staying there for my one night on my own credit card. She operates a bit more frugal, for example her coffee is in a tupperware container and you spoon it into the coffee machine, and I was totally good with that. The TV was older tube style, but so what? Clean, soft towels (not white - they were colored) and over - all, most pleased in all ways. Will definitely stay there again. Hostess was most helpful with maps and directions, etc.

We just stayed one night. The lady that checked us in was very nice. Like talking to a friend. Very quick and as I paid at checkin she said we could just leave key in the room. This was good as we were leaving early. Room was clean, had no problem.

This has become our go-to stay-over when travelling to Calgary. Every time we have stayed the rooms have always been very clean with no odd smells. All the TV channels you need. Rooms a heated by a forced-air furnace so no pipe ticking noises during the night.

DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!! This place in my opinion is worth the $89/night. Sharing it with no word of a lye 20 June Bugs. I usually dont mind bugs. But these large beetles. No thanks. When for $20 more you can stay at a hotel bug free. Ive been up trying to fall asleep, not thinking of these bugs. The bugs were in the bathroom, bedroom, ceiling. The worst was my mom drinking her coffee to find one floating in her cup. She didnt notice till she took a sip. If it didnt have the bugs it would be better. They need to find a solution to this bug problem. No hotels be having this many bugs. I hope my opinion can save another person from this nightmare.
