Stopped in at this location twice during a road trip that took me through Speedy Creek last week. Service was really good and so was the food. Just a note for my celiac friends that require gluten-free, this location does not have a gluten-free fryer. The menu says the fries are gluten-free, but I would not consider them celiac safe. The staff were knowledgeable about this and steered me away from the fries, but I was a little disappointed that I couldn t have them with my Cajun chicken sandwich! I had the veggies with dip and sesame rice as sides instead.

Haven t had oj s in a while since I moved to Saskatoon. Went back home for thanksgiving and had dinner with my family. The service was quick, our food was cooked very well and it tasted good. I had the crispy chicken burger with onion rings and substituted the regular dill dip with unagi sauce (sweet sauce). Cravings very satisfied. Server: Amanda, she was nice and friendly and not very in your face . Unlike some servers from other restaurants where you re about to take a bite and then they ask you how s it going?

We were in town for a hockey game and came on a bus. We pre-ordered food for 56 people for take out. The staff was amazing and it went so smoothly. Made for a great post game meal for our drive home. We will definitely use this location again.

Just passing through.... I poped over for a quick bit and a beer while travelling west bound, and wasnt starving, but knew I needed to eat something, I had a great onion soup that was more filling that I anticipated, it was perfect. Then the cinnamon bun cheese cake caught my eye and when I mentioned it, I was told great choice by my server/bartender Patrick. He was right it was amazing! Just wanted send a shout out to Patrick who was a fabulous host. He made me feel welcome from my arrival and was very knowledgeable on the menu and beers (of course what we like to see in a bartender, haha). The food came fast, looked great and was delicious. Had a rough day, then my Truck broke down in swift current. New to the area and super Hungary decided to have supper at OJ s turned out to be a great experience. Tyler and staff took great care of me from start to finish. Felt like I was in a small town bar in a big city. It was just what the doctor ordered. Thank you for your kind friendly service and delicious food. Looking forward to having a great meal and conversation with the OJ swift team soon.

Our server rushed us out before 10pm even if there were still other clients inside (we were at the patio) and the restaurant was supposed to be open until 2am.

Our group visited Original Joes for dinner in July. We had excellent service and the food was great! One of the best meals we had on our 15 day tour. Each passenger pre ordered their dinner and it was prompt and ready upon our arrival. Super friendly staff! Great Job, we highly recommend your restaurant and will return!

We have been ordering the truffle potato parm, the quality has been very inconsistent, one time it was undercooked, the next its close to being burnt and our recent one is quite soggy some of the potatoes being undercooked and there was less cheese this time. If you order it at the restaurant its really good and it is cooked perfectly but when it comes to pick up and delivery order the quality is really different.

The food was great and drinks were great. Nice little spot to stop in BUT the music was terrible. I noticed they have a touch tunes but when I tried to play some songs they didnt play. The staff had their own music playing and the touch tunes unhooked and due to that I wasted a bunch of my credits trying to play songs.

Not safe for gluten allergy sufferers! I came in last night and ordered a gluten free soy chicken burger (which was confirmed gluten free by the waitress and kitchen), coleslaw and house salad (because I was advised that the fries aren t in a gluten free fryer). The waitress even put an allergy note on the order for coeliac and I had one of the worst gluten reactions of my life and I m considering going to the hospital for it. The waitress seemed good so maybe the kitchen just doesn t take allergies seriously? Either way, definitely do not recommend.

I had an amazing time with my brother when I went for a rest stop on our trip from yorkton to lethbridge, food was awesome, service was great and our bar tender that was serving us(couldnt catch her name), was very friendly and talked with us for awhile before we departed and continued our trip and my brother and i loved the company. We Must say this aswell, WE BOTH will be back again soon!!! and for 25$ for two drinks and an appetizer dish you cant go wrong very pleased with our visit!! Parking: Lots of parking as there is a mall next to this pub!

Got seated right away. Ordered fish and chips. Came with salad and gravy. Ordered salad with ranch. When salad arrived no ranch! The fish was hot and a Fries were hot and they were freshly sliced. Restaurant was very clean. Patio looked fun. Had heaters that was needed as the weather was cold. Maybe rain.

Ecellent quick service from attentive waitress (Ashley). This was my first visit. Food was good. I had ACE cheese burger which had potato flour bun which I found a bit gummy to eat. I had coffee but must return to try the excellent selection of beverages on tap.

We had dinner here last night. The service was fantastic and very attentive. Our food came out quickly and was very good. Our waitress was especially accommodating and informative regarding dietary preferences. Great experience and cool atmosphere.

They catered to my picky eating. I wanted the Nashville spicy chicken sandwich with all the toppings on the side. Only the spicy seasoning on it. With the spicy margarita was perfect. I couldn t eat another bite so I got the gyoza to go. I had them on a previous visit and they are definitely a must have. Sat at the bar and was attended to very well. Been here three times driving through in the last month. Definitely will be coming back.

Our favourite location. The food is what you expect. The decaf coffee is good, not watery. And, if you indulge, the desserts are yummy. Prices are the same as most these days. A treat when we are in the city. There is always lots of parking. Parking: Lots of parking Kid-friendliness: Not a general family restaurant, but there is a sign on the door that states minors welcome until 8pm(I believe )... Then it changes to a definitely adult bar restaurant until late. Good to know.

Nothing to compare against in Swift Current, because we ate here all 3 nights we were in town! The chicken sandwich was almost too big, something Ive probably never said. The sandwich sides are honestly the best part though, every one is delicious!

They will provide options. Parking: There is lots of space to park even if you need to park in the Shoppers lot. Sometimes close to the restaurant is tougher to find parking. While OJs very much caters to a bar and bar food setting, there are a few standout options. Their steaks are probably my favorite in town (the consistency is key here), the sides give a custom feel to your meal, ensuring most preferences are covered. Non typical options (like a pretty tasty butter chicken bowl or their teriyaki bowl) are a good change of pace and their seasonal menu is always a fun try, whether drinks or meals. On this site, the bathrooms are some of the nicest in town and well stocked. Servers remember me and are conversational without being distracting. Regardless of the area, the person serving will rarely detract from the experience. Televisions are spread across a variety of sports offerings, and theres a great patio option for warner temperatures. I recommend local options, which the chain welcomes wholeheartedly, giving the atmosphere a slight bistro feel while not straying too far from a more accessible palate, making it a good option for kids and family members with more restrictive diets.

It had been a while since choosing OJs, and it really didnt impress. The prices have definitely jumped, atmosphere is the same, serivce was so good almost too good (getting new drinks before we were 3/4 done our first- was wasteful-.but she was on the ball for sure), another major menu over haul which can be disappointing, but the reason the brings you back -the food- was not great. We ordered a couple of handheld burger options and fish and chips. Burger patties were very bland. There was no flavor to the burger, and the fish and chips were over battered and over deep fried, so all you tasted was the fryer oil. The sweet potato fries were good and well seasoned. The cost of eating out has gone up as food prices are everywhere, so night outs are becoming more of a treat. Unfortunately, this time around OJs, Swift Current was more of a disappointment than a treat.

Yummy food like any Original Joes. :) If you like OJs in other cities you will like this one. The staff is friendly and cares about their customers.

The Big Pig poutine and bruscetta are awesome. The bruscetta toast is lightly toasted so you still get the soft bread texture with the crispy cheese. The poutine is comfort food in a bowl. You gotta try it. 10/10

Stopped in for lunch on a road trip with our toddler, food was decent however service was weird. We were asked if we were ready within 1 minute of sitting (weird but ok) came back 3 min later after seeing us take turns to go into the bathroom, said we needed more time rushed to figure out what to eat and settle our child and she came back 2 min later. Figured our waitress was either over attentive or just trying to get us out of there so gave her the benefit of the doubt. Our food came, and had to get our kid ready we hadnt touched our food and she came to see how it was? Like what? Finally I was super thirsty so finished my drink and she never came back until the manager cleared our plates I ended up just drinking my husbands water and at this point I just asked for the bill. Ive never felt like I was unwanted in a restaurant until today. I was pretty disappointed.

Food and drinks were great.....service could have been better...had to chase the waitress down for drinks etc more than once. Place was busyish and more than enough staff on.

I got the fish tacos with a modification to have no onion and sauce on the side (due to dietary restrictions). First off, the modifications came out perfectly! Although my family decided to move tables without asking (I know, a big no-no, but I couldn t stop them) the staff were really polite and accommodating! And the food - I have trouble eating a lot of food due to IBS, but it was amazing and caused me no problems. I got the sweet potato fries with the dill dip - so good. The tacos themselves were the best I have ever had (in at sort of taco). They were messy to eat, but that s just because they were full of amazing stuff. I honestly demolished them so quickly that everyone was surprised (I normally have a very small appetite). Just SO GOOD!! I cannot praise this enough. The only qualm I had was that, because of the (deserved) popularity, the inside was so loud it gave me immediately gave me auditory overload, so we sat on the beautiful patio, which was much quieter. The reason we moved tables was because the sun was shining in our eyes. If you want to eat amazing food with amazing service (but in a possibly loud environment) go here!!

Disappointed with the service. Walked in and waited with my boyfriend for over 5 minutes to be seated, had several staff walk by us. Then a group of 3 walks in and gets seated within 30 seconds right in front of us! Made me feel completely invisible, so I just left without be served or even greeted to be sat down! (I love the food but wont be coming back now sadly) such a disappointment.

If you have a gluten allergy make sure you ask about your dish beforehand. Ordered fish tacos and instead of using corn tortillas, they used lettuce. Also thought that because there was a gf symbol, it would come as gf but not likely the case as they said it normally comes with flour tortilla. Dietary restrictions: Confirm before ordering. It doesnt appear to be standard replacements.
