Had an absolutely beautiful night. Linda was our server and was attentive, kind, humorous and overaL LOVELY. Food and service was fantastic

The flavor of the food was great unfortunately the shrimp were a little overcooked.

Disappointing experience. Service and food does not live up to the reputation at all. Mains were bland - flavour for the pasta was confusing.

Very nice & friendly manager, and a very smart head waiter. Great recommendations, nice wine by the glass, and their ocean trout was fabulous. Expensive, though .and very loud on a Monday night.

Dinner with friends last night. Terrific experience. Food was delicious, wine was spot on. The staff were great and always on hand, particularly Linda who looked after us. Linda was very personable and friendly which certainly added to our experience.

I needed to cancel my reservation for lunch on 25/7 due to illness of the only party. Not only does this restaurant charge a very harsh $50 pp cancellation fee (no mercy shown for illness apparently) but it it does not answer its phone so that I can let them know I m not coming. Their phone message advises to call after 10am. I just tried again at 10.15 and got no answer. Very shabby and unprofessional. Won t be going back.

The food is delicious and drinks fantastic, the staff are so accommodating and welcoming.

Lovely meals, but full of extra charges they wont tell you about. They charged us for water when no other option was given. I understand for sparkling, but its poor service to not tell someone when the TABLE WATER is an extra THIRTEEN DOLLARS. Disgraceful.

We reserved a table with added notes about dietary requirements, additional services etc. None of this was mentioned or acknowledged during our dining service. - Ordered glasses of Bolinger at $35, this never arrived. -Booked the wine room, we were sitted in restaurant. -Told staff about dietary requirements in booking notes, not acknowledged when ordering. - Staff seemed very disorganised as a few meals and drinks were wrongly fully being sent to our table. We also had multiple servers at our table asking if we ve ordered straight after handing the menu or how the food was one after another not having a single person looking after us properly. Providing it was a Saturday night, this may be understandable but we were disappointed. Food was good, just at expected. Good selection of wines but service could definitely be better. Vegetarian options: Ravioli

The service was amazing - Linda saw that my mum couldn t read the menu (and had forgotten her glasses) so she offered her own. Mum had a ball laughing with Linda at every moment after that

Nothing wrong with the food, we never have the opportunity to try it even with booking . We arrived at 9:30pm and 5 workers just glared at us until someone actually came and greeted us. One of the women said I don t know, why the website booked you in this late, we re very behind but you can wait here but sounded very unfriendly about it. We thought about it and thought, the website said we could stay until 12:30am but the store closes at 10pm we were quite frustrated we waited late for dinner and arriving to the place being told that we only had 20mins to eat ..

I walked past this restaurant for years, not having a clue what I was missing. Cant even recall how I first went in but I have since become a regular. Absolutely brilliant quality authentic Italian food ...best described as YUM The staff are professional and very polite and friendly and know their craft. The atmosphere can only be described as intimate a host of tables all placed close to eachother. External dining available also weather permitted...opposite Sydneys Hyde Park and beside the Sharaton on the Park Hotel it is very well located. Lunch or dinner...did I say the food is Yum? Very highly recommended. Dont make my mistake and walk past and not realise what you are missing.

I ordered oysters, steak and cappuccino with ice cream for dessert. The whole thing was perfect. The oysters were fresher and sweeter than those at the Sydney fish market. The steak was fried just right. The dessert ice cream was paired with sour and bitter coffee. The taste was neutral and very good. I have a chance. Will definitely come again

It was fantastic experience. White tablecloths and napkins, glasses, cutlery, elegant waiters, wonderful wine list, everything I love. I really liked all the dishes, desserts, lemon tart is my favorite, I have never seen such a version of lemon tart, delicious!!!! Margarita was great, Saint Emilion perfect like always. There are not enough establishments of this level and class in Australia! Bravo guys, keep it up.

An intimate restaurant with low lighting suitable for romantic date. Extensive and quality wine list. I had veal wrapped in prosciutto which was divine. Had fries on the side and dipped these into the rich sauce. My partner ordered the fish which he found below expectations and swimming in oil and underseasoned.

Our 1st time with Bambini Trust, we live just a block down the street so we had to finally give it a try after years of walking straight past Service was excellent - friendly & welcoming. Efficient, helpful & courteous - special shout out to Lisa for the care you showed us. The food was very good - my partner was disappointed with the portion size - I have to agree a bit.

Great ambience, nice and intimate and not noisy so you can talk to the people on your table. The food is next level. Such great quality and flavours. You can t go wrong with any choice. And the service from everyone that waited our table was polite with nothing out of the question. I won t leave it another three years to come back. Easily five stars.

Beautifully present sashimi special, with a well made Manhattan. Sourdough bread was flavorful and tiramisu desert was delicious. As a weary solo traveler this was an welcome and calming dinner for one and service was prompt and delightful. Nice seat watching kitchen made it all the more enjoyable.

Living in the Highlands has meant it has been a while now since I ve been. Service was faultless, personable and charming - thank you Giuseppe. Im sorry I don t remember the name of the fabulous and knowledgeable sommelier- he enhanced our experience beautifully. Our meal rolled from one delectable dish to another. fThe fresh shaved Truffle pasta special was the best pasta dish I have ever eaten. A truly magical anniversary dinner. If you have never dined here, do yourself a favour and experience the hospitality and cuisine of Bambini Trust - I believe you will become a raving fan like me !

This place is fantastic! Excellent food & drink menus. We went there on our brief visit to Sydney. Food & service are just right! Tables have table linen. Lovely décor & atmosphere. Moderate prices.

Our team came here for a team lunch. For starters we had the zucchini which was amazing, the mozarella and the bread. For mains I had the spaghettini with king prawns which was very tasty. The broccolini side dish was also well cooked and seasoned. Service was good too. We just had to wait for a bit long between finishing the starters and when the mains were brought out. Overall still a nice experience.

Beautiful old-school elegant restaurant, very good service, excellent food. I had rabbit ragout (nice to have something a little more unusual on the menu) on pasta which was utterly delicious and a side of broccolini with pinenuts and raisins. A complimentary amuse bouche of saffron and mozzarella arancini ball also very good. Attentive staff. Elegant yet lively atmosphere. Highly recommended.

One of my favorite italian restaurants in Sydney. The menu changes regularly and never disappoints, (but please bring back the prosecco rissoto). The atmosphere is divine, always makes for a special evening.

AN ENGAGEMENT DINNER I LL NEVER GET BACK. I booked Bambinis for my engagement dinner and this was our experience: 1. The staff were painfully rude. 2. They squashed 13 of us onto a table that fits 6-8 people max. Could barely sit. There was no high chair for a toddler and there wasn t any room on the table so drinks kept falling. It was so horrible I wish I was making this up. 3. They never brought out the cake and gave it back to us melted at the end of the night because they didn t refrigerate it. Overall it is a night I ll never get back and there s nothing I regret more than choosing Bambinis to host such a memorable night. All anyone took away from the night was how there was no room to breathe and the staff were rude. Considering the hefty price it was easily the worst dining experience I ve ever had. Vegetarian options: Nothing vegan friendly. Parking: No parking. Kid-friendliness: No high chair for toddlers.

Food and atmos just about good enough. Paper table cloths on our table not great (most did had real ones though). Steak initially dry but fantastic once rested (by us). What left a bad taste in my mouth was being charged a 10% weekend surcharge ! On top of the classic $13 still or sparkling water trick, we just felt a bit conned upon leaving. No doubt it was in tiny print somewhere, but we certainly didn t spot it, despite spending at least 15 mins staring at the menu deciding. And seriously, is this where we re at now? Why would you want your customers to leave feeling like they ve just been a bit scammed? It s obviously a deceptive practice, and, in our case, we would not have been deterred from coming had you just been honest about the prices. As you chose to play it though, we will probably not come back. And I wrote this In short - Good enough experience but add at least 10% onto what they pretend it will cost.

For the price the food was average. Staff brought the wrong order multiple times. Otherwise, ambience was great but disappointed with food and service.

We had an amazing dining experience with many thanks to Ned and the rest of the team. Ned was very attentive, engaged, professional and friendly. The food was amazing as well - we all thoroughly enjoyed it. Wine list was great and very extensive. And most importantly for me - the olive oil was premium and tasted exactly like the imported olive oil I get from Greece. Delicious!

One of the best places to visit, if you are a wine lover. The wine list is extensive with some rare ones. Tignanello 2019 and Villa Antinori 2019 were amazing.

Great spot off Hyde park in the CBD for a secluded and intimate lunch. Service was exception with food to match! Really enjoyed the Italian menu with something for everyone. Rustic decor and a calming interior added to the vibe of this establishment.

Some dishes were good(desserts were great!), others - subpar, especially given the price. Service was just okay. Set menu is very confusing with lots of exclusions and additions. Did I enjoy the dinner overall - yes. Will I return? - unlikely.

Something has changed. I was told it s about bums on seats! The Flounder (market price) was a very poor example and Spaghettini was not nearly as good as previously. Always busy but they used to cope with this. Now it s just about bums on seats .

Wonderful service, sumptuous surroundings, transported me right back to a Parisian bistro. The food was of the highest quality. I m still dreaming about the ravioli! Although they tried to charge me an $8 per person cakeage fee after my table had already ordered 3 course meals. They also charged us for bread without us ordering it. Would give 0 star if it was an option. I saw this restaurant on google maps and it was as showing as open. We walked in, had to wait for the lady at the door to finish her conversation with the waiter just to then be told in a weird way that the restaurant was closed and would be open at 5:30pm. We gladly made our way to another restaurant where we were amazingly well treated. Good for us. On our way back we passed by this restaurant again, it was around 4pm (1 hour after we tried to get a table there) just to see people eating and drinking at their outside tables in front of the restaurant. Didn t surprise us as the vibe of the old lady at the door was definitely unpleasant. Bambini Trust Restaurant truly exceeded expectations. The veal was exceptional, tender and bursting with flavor. The lemon tart was a perfect blend of sweet and citrusy delights. Impeccable service and a delightful atmosphere made the dining experience unforgettable. A culinary gem worth savoring.

5 of us went on recommendation. Disappointed. 3 grilled shrimp $62 accompanied by nothing else. Shocking. Place was loud and barely room to squeeze through. Our server tried her best to explain the menu but she even looked fed up. Previous night 2 of us tried La Riviera, Bambinis new place a few blocks away and it was fabulous. People there were so kind. Food was delicious.

Loved the ambiance, loved the service and the food, had zucchini as starter and later King prawns spaghetti, Should Lamb pasta, tasty and good portion, my only comment is the King Prawns Pasta was a bit salty.

I ve been coming to Bambini for over a decade and normally I love the place. However 2 things occurred on this recent visit that I think are not a turn for the better. The service was very slow between courses which on its own isn t a huge, thing however clearly the kitchen was struggling to keep service running at a regular pace. But what made me really unhappy was being presented with the Eftpos machine with 15% tip automatically selected. I then tried to change this and could only go down to 10% or up to 20%. This is absolutely unAustralian. If the service is Great I am more that happy to tip but when it s average to poor service. I do not like being forced to tip. If they need to raise the prices then don t be sneaky about it. The food was good as always and hence the star rating isn t lower. It s a Shame as I genuinely used to like this restaurant.

We were visiting Sydney and stumbled across this restaurant near the hotel we we re staying at. Hadn t pre booked so we were a walk in. It more than exceeded our expectations; delicious food and wine. Great service. Would highly recommend.

Five stars isnt enough! We had such a great experience, the food was amazing. We demolished our food, even the salad! Lol The drinks we ordered were delicious and were hands down the best we had ever had. The wait staff was excellent and she received a large tip The Chef and owner personally chatted to us and it made our experience that much more special.

Slow service. Rude staff who think they re better than everyone. Average food. Complained to owner who did nothing. Will nit go back while current owners are in charge.

We previously dined here and we loved it but we came back and found the food average, over priced and when we got the bill the waitress hoovered with the eftpos machine we had no time to check the bill to ensure we were charged correctly. Staff should be trained on courtesy. It s a shame as it was fantastic Restaurant previously.

We really enjoyed our midweek lunch. The food menu is full of classics with modern twist, all cooked to perfection and well seasoned. Very good wine list and interesting cocktails, service was warm and professional. Definitely recommend.

Very good Italian restaurant right next to Hyde Park. The ambience was really nice and the service very attentive and courteous. The food was very tasty and very well tasted. The cocktails also convinced us. We are looking forward to our next visit to the Bambini Trust!

Arrived for dinner to a very busy restaurant, but was accommodated with outdoor seating. Service was slow, but expected in these times and waitstaff and chef were kind. Intimate and well thought atmosphere to enjoy Italian food. Ordered a delicious cocktail and settled on the mascarpone filled ravioli finished with lemon and sage butter. Very light and tasty. Great restaurant to find while traveling.

Overall really great experience. Great food. Great wines. The first time I went the waiter was not so polite though. 2nd time was really amazing.

Great ambience nice food friendly staff. Duck ragout superb but scampi was a bit disappointing as it was drowned in too much butter.

A perfect place.

Prefect CBD restaurant discrete and forever popular with those in the know. Probably one of the best restaurants in Sydney and much underrated . The steak and frites with a side of Brussels sprouts was perfect, as were the dozen oysters to start with. Impeccable service, standards have rarely dropped here.

I wish I had taken note of the past reviews that mentioned rude staff and so, future patrons, please note this review and take your business elsewhere. In all my years in hospitality and as a patron, I ve not met such a rude person. We didn t get her name so a description will have to do. This waitress, maybe manager as she was all in black, has a very short black bob with a short fringe. We were only going to give 3 stars as the food was distinctly average, the spaghetti was like noodles, and the table was in a cramped space but she has brought the rating way down. After ordering a starter to share and our mains, a blonde waitress with a pony tail offered us bread. We accepted. The bill comes, we are charged for the bread. The minimal cost aside, we did not order the bread, you can t just charge customers for food they didn t order. The waitress with the black hair, who was dealing with the bill said, it s on the menu, you should have known you would be charged for it. How ridiculous. She proceeded to talk over me in a really aggressive manner when I said that makes no sense and what an odd way to treat customers. The blonde haired waitress said that s just how we do things. Wow. Our first meal in Sydney and what a horrendous experience. If I could give zero stars I would.

Good overall experience. Just check the bill before you pay as they wack on a service fee.

Wow, a colleague recommended this as a venue for an anniversary, excellent food, excellent service, a little expensive but well worth it as a treat.

We were fortunate to be invited to a private party in the Bambini Trust wine room. The jubilant atmosphere was fully supported by the wonderful staff who attended to each and every diners individual needs seemlessly throughout the night. The food, the drinks and the room made for a memorable occasion appreciated by all.
